This gym is great! I like the way the weights are separated from the cardio area (treadmills, elliptical, etc...)

There are PLENTY of treadmills to choose from as well (I think like 15) and the music isn't as loud as the location at Mountains Edge.

There are a lot of machines to choose from, and the dumbbells have enough weight that I don't think I will ever have a need for more!!

The only cons I have is, it's very dirty! It could be the members, but there's always towels lying all over the place, a lot of time there are no wipes to clean the machines off when you're done, and the women's bathroom seems to always be out of TP! Ugh!

Oher than that, I really like this gym. =o)

Update: after 2yrs fitness for $10 has taken over. It's nice, but I pay VIP price but don't get VIP access! Let's open up earlier on weekends!!

The refund policy is 3 days from signup.. I would suggest that you use it if you happen to have signed up within that time. Scummy business practices in general is what you should expect otherwise.

As an example: I purchased a membership online, and received no information about policies or contract info. You will also find none of this information on their website. I only got a email stating that my card was charged.

When I called to cancel within 2 weeks of the original purchase, I was told that I needed to come in-person to do so. When I did, within and hour of the phone call, I was then told by the attendant at the front counter that the cancellation policy was 3 days (though he said it used to be 14 days) and that I no recourse beyond that.

The membership was never used, and I never stepped foot in the place prior to cancelling. I asked to see a contract or any other documentation regarding the cancellation policy, and was told that there was none immediately available, but that one would be promptly emailed to me.

Of course you can guess how that went.. At least 3 calls over the next week and a half yielded absolutely nothing, other than further confirmation that this is a shady dirtbag operation of a gym, that will happily dodge and duck your calls requesting basic info, that any other legitimate business would be happy to provide.

All in an effort to pocket a measly $128.99, for a service that was never once provided/received. Go elsewhere if you have an ounce of sense at all, and the benefit of reading this prior to going in or calling about a membership.

Pay attention to their lackluster rating and reviews, as they're among the lowest in Las Vegas.. It is not a fluke or any kind of accident. It has been heartily earned, and you have been clearly warned.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at this gym.. It can feel a little small when it gets busy but u and everyone else there is there for the same reason and just be aware of others and don't mind asking to share a bench or to hop in in the cables.. I dislike that they don't allow the customers access to the remote for the TV.. So when u go in there later at night there's always arthritis or ED commercials on (I may need them meds later in life but not now lol).. If the employees could just be a little more aware of that that'd be nice knowing that Sunday night football is going to be on then turn it to that channel before leaving lol

To address some of the concerns of follow posters, it is small, but the beauty of this place is it's open 24 hours. You can go and workout 24 hours a day and it suits my schedule perfectly. At 2 a.m. there's nobody who works out so I can get my full cardio and weight training session in place before seeing another human being. I often go at 10 a.m. as well and there's not many people in there. I'm sure if you go with the prime time of 7 a.m., it might be hard to find a machine, to change your schedule or pay more and go to a premium gym where you'll be paying six times the amount. I love this gym.

Cancelled my membership.

If just a few people show up you will be hard pressed to finish your workout.

I spend half my workout just moving weights and equipment around that haven't been put away.

On a high note, the trainer that works here during the day is very good. Hes the one who wears a towel on his hip. I am sure hes worth every penny.

The good news is that cancelling is very easy and they don't seem to care either way.

This place is too small. if there is more than 5 people in the place its crowded. I signed up for a month to month membership and it said there was a 30 day cancellation policy. My payment was automatically deducted on the 3rd of each month. for over a year my payment was $25 a month. One month I noticed it was $28. I went in and asked if they raised their rates. they said no it was a credit card processing fee. I did not receive an email or any notice. that is when I decided to cancel and go to a real gym. I went in on the 7th and gave my 30 day notice. I asked the manager if they prorated the last few days I owed, she said Ill just wave the 3 days. Sure enough I was charged again on the 3rd of this month. I went in to question this and they said "no matter what you have to pay the last month". And went on to say "I've had people come in on the day their payment is due to cancel and they still have to pay an extra month". Basically, I would not recommend this place to anyone. check out other places and get your moneys worth out of your gym

Don't get a spray tan from them! I went with a few of my friends and our hands and feet turned dark orange and our skin turned a light orange! Didn't even make us any darker! I've never had such a terrible spray tan before.
