Flips is a family owned business that has served the Reno/Sparks community for over 45 years.
We offer a variety of recreational classes for crawlers, walking toddlers, children, and teenagers. Our classes are designed to introduce children to the fun and exciting world of gymnastics. Classes consist of a warm-up and rotations on all gymnastics apparatus in an atmosphere that builds self-esteem. Gymnasts who are interested in advancing to higher levels will be offered a tailored achievement program designed for each level. Upon completion of skills and parental approval, the gymnast will be rewarded and advance to a higher level.
We also have a competitive team for those interested in competing. This team consists of gymnasts in Levels 2-1

Audrey who teaches Bears and Tigers Thursday night ,has been my 3 year old Freya’s teacher both times she’s been to this facility. She does an amazing job at making sure each kiddo feels special , and seen, her patience is amazing especially dealing with multiple rambunctious little ones. My daughter tells me how much she likes “Those Girls” and you know I like them too. I’m so happy my wild girl has a place to go ;where she and I both feel safe and can have fun.

We have been going to Flips for their toddler gymnastics and now for the active minds program. They learn so much, I hear my 4 year old walking around saying “ what color does green and blue make”. My kids absolutely LOVE it At flips!

It was a great first day of gymnastics for my almost 4 year old. The teacher was patient and lots of kids. It felt normal besides minimal COVID precautions of taking kids temps upon arrival, sanitizing all hands between floor sets and parents or kids over 9 wearing masks. My daughter had a blast! Looking forward to next week!

We have been going for six months I like the actual gymnastics but they aren't very nice to the kids before and after gymnastics not that friendly about 20 signs in a small area talking about keep kids quite and not letting them play. As if this business isn't ran off of the kids

My daughter with Down syndrome attends gymnastics class with her physical therapist every Thursday morning here. They do so well with my daughter. She has had so much progress with her walking and motor skills. I have loved coming here. Such a great way for my daughter and I to start our day out. I'm going to be so sad when she ages out of this program with Nevada Early intervention services.

They really teach the kids how to use their own strengths. Ever since starting here my 5 year old has been able to do actual gymnastics moves

Fun friendly gymnastics center. Mostly filled with kids under 10, but some older groups practice here as well. One of the best deals in town. Class sizes seem large to me, they are definitely busy and some classes have "coaches assistants" helping out. Parking is a bit crazy on practice nights as they don't have enough spaces for all the parents. Coaches are great, and come out to talk with parents after each practice.

Tumblebus to come to Five Hearts Preschool near Elizabeth Lenz, South Hills, Saddlehorn, Arrowcreek in South Reno. Five Hearts Preschool is small enough to have the Tumblebus from Flips come out and treat the preschoolers to a half hour of gymnastics!
