I honestly can't say enough good things about Infinity. Starting back in middle school and continuing through university, I was always so insecure at the gym. The mean girls and the aggressive men kept me away from public gyms, so for years I only went to small private apartment gyms.
Then I stumbled on a buy-one-get-one-free special at Infinity and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did! The environment is welcoming, supportive, and completely free of judgment.

Infinity has completely changed the way I feel about working out, and I can't recommend it enough.

I've been coming for about a year and a half and have really felt welcomed here.

I like the age range (everything from UNR students to 70's and 80's). It's a community vibe, but they keep things very professional, too. My favorite is Pilates (you get a surprisingly good workout considering you're lying on your back-- it sneaks up on you!)-- but Mia's Saturday morning circuit class is very popular too, and Bernie, the other owner, is a knowledgeable trainer.

They also offer something called Lagree, which is quite hard to find and seems to have a devoted following (I had never heard of it, even after over a decade of doing Pilates) -- it's like Pilates on steroids, so good if you want a workout that is more of a kick in the rear!

The teachers are mindful of getting you a good workout, so they keep the classes focused and people can chitchat before or after. (The schedule leaves a few minutes between classes so it's not a mad scramble.) Bernie and Mia have picked good teachers. The 30-40 minute small group circuit training courses are a really nice format and a way to get some individualized attention (and the discipline of having paid and knowing there are people expecting you!) without the hit to the wallet of a personal trainer. They also offer ridiculously early classes and training for the hard-core types who have to get to work afterwards.

It's nice supporting a community, not a corporation.

First time EVER taking a lagree class and had the best experience. It was challenging, but so much fun. All the movements were new to me, but with Cheryls demonstration and explanation they were all easy to pick up. Great workout, knowledgeable instructor, and fun experience overall!

This studio is absolutely incredible. I have several autoimmune diseases that affect my ability to consistently perform in group classes but they are able to tailor things to my needs each day I come in. There are all different levels so it never feels intimidating and everyone is very welcoming.

Even better, I was going to cancel this morning due to pain but it was too late so I showed up anyway, and Cheryl was so kind and accommodating. She spent the entire time stretching my poor aching body including rolling out my feet. I loved getting to know her more and I felt absolutely amazing after.

Worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and SIGN UP. :)

I work out here two or three days a week and I love it. The owners set the tone… nice people who support everyone’s quest for health and fitness. The instructors are great and the classes are challenging, but fun. The people are all amazing. Such a great atmosphere and that has kept me motivated for a year now.

I have always been afraid to do something like Pilates and Lagree because I am not very coordinated, but everyone at Infinity is so helpful, encouraging and kind that I feel like I belong here. Thanks to everyone at Infinity who has facilitated my stronger self!

I had the pleasure of taking a Pilates class with Cat Stahl today. She was so encouraging and positive with her coaching and I loved the workout! She also offered complimentary essential oil at the beginning and end of class which I LOVED. I used the mind body app to book the class and will be taking her classes again in the future. Thank you Cat!

Superb instructors! I have been going there for 14-15 years, and it feels like family. As a woman in my later 70's, I especially appreciate the attention to issues that we have as we age. Pilates has been a huge benefit to my health and well being.

For women only. For a while I thought it was just me, then I ran into other men who have tried Ball Fitness. The instructors mostly (and some class members) tend to alienate men in a class.

Maybe payback for hundreds of years of male dominated clubs? It is what it is and no matter how inclusive you may have been in your life, the majority of women there will make you feel like you do not belong at Ball Fitness. I guess they deserve to have their own space but Ball Fitness should give you heads-up before you sign up and pay for 10 classes in advance! Suggest men try one class first and limit their risk.
