I have practiced at many studios in Reno, New York City and Northern California, and Juice Box Reno by definitely my favorite. The space is very zen and clean, but the classes get down to business. Other studios can tend towards either too lax, too militant, or too corny, making yoga seem like a joke or a chore. Juice Box gets it right and I always leave feeling renewed. My favorite teacher is: all of them! Seriously, you will not be let down, and I am so thankful for this gem in my hometown!

Overall these are fun classes and a good workout. The only downside is the instructors don’t seem to need any sort of fitness background to teach. They often perform instruction with poor form and state that you should be working a particular muscle when it’s not the correct muscle group for that specific exercise. They memorize lines and use a timer and have zero actual knowledge of fitness. If you are hoping to learn how your body works invest in a real trainer. Regardless of that the constant movement and heat make this a great workout and the woman that take the classes are extremely motivating! I do recommend giving it a try.

I realized I promised an update, but forgot to until JuiceBox replied to my review.
As an update, I never have seen that instructor again, nor the Bikram classes at this location. But part of what I perceived to be a problem of bot seeing any good classes was because they were in the middle of switching from a different scheduling platform, and I couldn't see the change on the old app.
However, they seemed to replace the Bikram class with a lovely 75 minute class that I've been attending almost every week. This and their 60min set sequence is fabulous.
I'm quite fond of many of the instructors for both the 60 min hot, 75 minute Power Vinyasa, and an occasional Yin class.
While I still go to another studio, I will likely keep the 75min Power Vinyasa on rotation.

I'm going to leave 3 stars for now....because I feel like I got bait and switched... twice.
First, I signed up for my first class in July where they were having $10 drop ins. When I went, they said since it was my first visit I (and my husband) would be automatically enrolled in their two weeks for $20 unlimited membership. I didn't bother to worry about this and just tried to take as many classes as I could yo take advantage of this two weeks.
At the end of the two weeks, I decided I loved (a couple of) the instructors I had, and would love to take them again, specifically Barry who taught the 90 minute Bikram. He was welcoming, encouraged us to come back, and had a great style I liked.
My husband and I bought 15 classes each, which is NOT cheap ($500 total). We were tricked a bit because they offer a 10% discount for signing up un our first two weeks.
We went home and immediately went to book another class with Barry, and he's not on the schedule at any of the Juice Box locations for the next two months. And neither is the 90 minute Bikram class that drew me in. My least favorite instructor is now on the schedule more often, not even for the Bikram class I took her for.
I'll update my review if my perception changes, but I feel quite bait-and-switched at the moment. Right now, I prefer Yoga Six across the street.

When I first joined Juice Box Yoga after moving to Reno, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As someone who’s been a loyal Orangetheory and CorePower Yoga regular, I came in with a bit of skepticism, assuming it wouldn’t push me as hard as the studios I’d frequented in bigger cities. I’ll admit, my attitude was all wrong—but within just a few classes, I was humbled in the best way. The workouts are incredibly challenging, and they’ve pushed me to a whole new level of strength and endurance.
The instructors push you in all the right ways, and the atmosphere is welcoming and uplifting. It’s a no-frills kind of place, but the community is amazing, and the cold lavender towel at the end of class? Absolute bliss—it’s the one frill I didn’t know I needed! If you’re looking for a studio that’s grounded, motivating, and delivers serious results, this is it. I love it here!

Five stars to this organization for excellent customer service. There was a brief misunderstanding of buddy passes that was resolved professionally and quickly. Their classes and instructors are excellent. Here is to more sweating it out and getting strong in the process.

I've been a member of Juice Box for a little over a year and happy to say that signing up was one of the best decisions I've made for my body; I tried it just as a new way to complement climbing, and stayed after experiencing the post-workout lavender towel business (what other yoga studio does this?! ). All the staff is so friendly and welcoming, it's really just a wonderful space to focus on improving your mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

I have been a member for one year at JB Yoga, Robb Dr. And have been thru all the state mask mandates going in the early mornings they have relaxed the mask wearing. I took 2 weeks off and thought I would enjoy an evening class. I'm on the mat and get told this class you have to wear a .mask the whole class, because they are a couple of people who insist I wear a mask. POLITICAL BS. I WANT MY MEMBERSHIP REFUNDED. I WILL GO SOME OTHER PLACE.

These folks were warm and welcoming! Katie P. lead me through my first Bikram Yoga experience with ease! Not ease for me! It was a challenge! A grand challenge just to stay in the room let alone complete most of the poses.. kind of😂💦🙏🏻
The class and bathroom/locker room was clean and there was plenty of room in the class. The cold towel with essential oils at the end was a nice touch!
Namaste☀️

Staff was professional and polite. Great atmosphere. It was hard to understand the instructor as she spoke very fast and somewhat jumbled. Still, would recommend.

I can’t say enough how much joining juice box yoga has changed my overall health (physical and mental). I first did their two week trial for $20 (honestly the best deal that had ever existed for trying something ever!) and I was instantly hooked. I commonly make comments about “my favorite hour of the day” or tell my husband “I’m on my way get my daily dose of endorphins” because I love the classes so much here. All the instructors are so great, they get to know you on a first name basis and are always encouraging you during class. Pilates or LIIFTED classes are my favorite and I can truly feel and see my results and my muscle strength improve. The work outs have different moves everyday so you are always being challenged. While the hot room is an adjustment for anyone- trust me you’ll love the way you sweat and how you feel leaving after ever class. The best part is supporting locally owned business here in northern Nevada!

Great place for hot pilates, bikram and barefoot bootcamp style classes. Even if the studio is a bit small and the classes a bit expensive, the teachers and energy in the classes are top notch. It's especially great for those who live on the west side of Reno. Gotta love the cold lavender hand towels at the end of class when you're lying in a pool of sweat!😅

So my wife brought me here for a Pilates class. I've never done Pilates before, and I'd be lying if I said it was easy. I must admit, I feel very accomplished and sore. I am a fan of calisthenics so this is a great way to get into that. I plan on going back, I would even like to try yoga.
