This place is a scam. $15 a month but random charges of $10, $25 and $35. Called Chase, they suggested I get a new card, don't even cancel, because LVAC is notorious for this. Had to get a new debit card and move to another gym. CHECK YOUR BANK TRANSACTIONS, they were doing this for months, currently have claims on 8 transactions over the past 3 months. If they did not steal from me, my review would be as follows.
Great layout, large gym with an awesome pool. Good machines that are usually in working order and fixed promptly. I do have complaints about the restrooms, especially the mens room upstairs, often dirty and missing tissues or toiletpaper. Always OVER-CROWDED.

I’ve been a member for several years. A good selection of equipment and friendly staff. The only area that I think could improve would be having plastic bags and paper tissues available all the time. Every time I go in there’s a shortage or they’re not there. Their hard-working member named Manny tries very hard, but they have a problem I think with supply and getting things. If you get out of the shower and there’s no paper tissues, you have to walk to the toilets and wait until somebody leaves before you can get toilet paper all the wild dripping wet. They need to do a better job of keeping their supply up-to-date

I’d like to formally report an ongoing safety concern regarding a member who repeatedly refuses to follow the posted directional rules on the indoor track. This individual has also been verbally aggressive toward members who attempt to remind her of the posted guidelines.
I have already reported this behavior on two separate occasions to management, but no corrective action appears to have been taken. During my most recent visit, I had to quickly move out of her path when she was traveling the wrong direction, causing me to hit the wall and injure my shoulder. This incident could have easily resulted in a more serious injury.
At this point, this is no longer an isolated situation,it is a repeated pattern of unsafe behavior, hostile interactions with other members, and a lack of staff intervention. Multiple members have attempted to address this with her, and each time she responds with profanity and refuses to comply.
I’m asking that this concern be documented, addressed, and monitored. If necessary, please notate her account and reinforce expectations with her directly. Without follow-through, the gym is assuming preventable liability. I want to avoid a situation where someone is seriously injured and legal action becomes the only path to resolution.
I enjoy using this facility and want it to remain safe and positive for everyone. Thank you for taking this matter seriously and ensuring appropriate steps are taken.

I called and cancelled back in august. They said I had to pay for sept. Fine what ever. I didn’t notice in October they took money out again. I just checked in November and they TOOK MONEY AGAIN! I call and she’s like well you had to call back after the payment cleared to cancel. So what the heck was the first call for after the August payment cleared. Scam! And had the nerve to say well we can’t give you your money back. First off I didn’t even ask second I know! How can yall run a scam if you freely giving money back. Feels like ima have to call monthly to make sure the dang thing is cancelled ! Never again LVAC!

They keep the locker rooms clean. This location is not like the other LVAC's where you're subject to a disturbing humidity level due to staff and members leaving the shower door open and letting the steam into the locker rooms. You always see someone cleaning in this gym which is a beautiful sight. Unfortunately one of the bench presses has a severely uneven bench. I suppose they'll fix it soon but it is the bench press facing directly toward the chest-supported machine row (not the one where you're kind of laying on it and the pulling motion is vertical - but the one I'm referring to; the pulling motion is more horizontal).

I never gone inside but I was on bus transportation cuz I'm disabled and we picked up a couple of people. They told me about the pool I looked it up. They had a $5 sign up fee but every month was a little high! I thought they would have discounts for disabled or seniors they don't.

I recently joined this gym and I have to say, I’m really impressed with the wide variety of equipment and classes they offer. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement.
First, the sauna setup is unlike anything I’ve seen in all my years of training and gym memberships. It’s unisex, which can make many people—especially women—feel uncomfortable when they want privacy. On top of that, it’s located right by the pool, completely surrounded by large windows, and lit with bright LED lights. It feels more like being on display than a place to relax, which defeats the purpose of a sauna.
Second, the showers are completely open, with no shower curtains. In an age where everyone has a phone with a camera, this doesn’t feel safe or appropriate. In fact, I had an uncomfortable experience where another member stood and stared at me while I was showering without breaking eye contact. That was extremely off-putting, and honestly, adding shower curtains would be a simple solution considering the cost of membership.
On a positive note, the gym itself is great for training—the equipment and class options are top-notch. But the design of the sauna and showers really needs to be reconsidered. Also, a small side note: the smoothie prices are extremely steep.

Some of the staff are great. Others, not so much. The place is noisy — people grunting, weights slamming. But the real problem? The corporate office.
My wife accidentally left her Nevada ID and residence card on a machine. We waited 20 days for someone to turn them in before paying for replacements. During that time, we also asked corporate to review the security footage. They flat-out refused.
So, we canceled our membership. And then they had the audacity to demand a 30-day notice. When did a health club become entitled to a month’s worth of your money after you walk away?
Why would anyone support a company that treats its members like this? There are better health clubs in Las Vegas that actually care about the people who pay them.

The workout section is great, however the daycare is very poor there were too many kids there, there was more than 5 staff members there and my son was injured on his finger and he has a bruise on his inner arm. His finger is extremely swollen and his nail has blood on the inside. 100% know he got this there, and not in the play gym, because he would have definitely cried and looked for an adult. We kept checking on him on the TV throughout the gym and we saw him wanting an employee to carry him and then again he was playing on the floor then he disappeared into the play gym, the staff say he was injured in the gym, but again he would've gotten out and gone to an adult for comfort. Very disappointed in the decatur location. We take him to the Henderson location and the staff there are phenomenal, and make the kids sanitize or wash their hands prior to going to play. As convenient as the day care is, I guess only kids that can advocate/defend themselves should go, because he's only 2.5 and he definitely doesn't know how to defend himself yet. I wish someone had better eyes on all the kiddos, that way we don't have to blame the daycare in it's entirety. But at this point 🤷♀️

Nothing but thieves. Don't put anything in your lockers or ride anything there. My son had his scooter stolen (lock was cut, no cameras working). Now today someone broke is combo lock in the locker room and stole money from him. Again lock broke. I hate to hear about all the cars that get broke into. And of course LVAC claims no responsibility. How about a safe place to workout without having your stuff broken into and stolen. How about some responsibility.

I'm writing this to warn others about signing the contract deal with LVAC. I moved away 3 years ago and was just recently notified that additional charges they put on my account were sent to a collections agency. I shouldn't have to worry about a 3 year old gym membership in a state I haven't lived in for over 2 years. If I could give 0 stars I would. Stuff like this makes you worry that someone out there is just doing it to ruin your life.

Great gym, been going to lvac for a little over 20 years. Only thing they can do better on is the up keep on the cleaning. Such as large dust balls on the ceiling by the air vent or t.v's. Also better maintaining the spray and paper towels

They advertise everywhere that membership is $15 per month, no contract, month-to-month – a complete lie! I paid $180 upfront for a full year and specifically asked if this meant I had no contract. I was assured that I had no contract and no further obligations after my prepaid year ended.
However, once my year was up, they called me demanding $15 for the next month. When I told them I wouldn’t be using the gym anymore, they suddenly hit me with a $65 cancellation fee—for a membership I never agreed to continue! This is outrageous and a total scam!
There’s zero transparency, hidden fees everywhere – an unethical and misleading business. If you're looking for an honest and reliable gym, stay away from this place! They use deceptive tactics to trap customers. Share this review so others don’t fall for the same scam!

I've been an LVAC member for about 4 years. The gym was okay even after COVID. Lot of people weren't bothering to wear masks and nobody seemed to care. Now, because of the issue with the pools, they are open only 8 to 12:00 and 4:00 to 8:00 during the weekdays. They're only open from 8:00 to 12:00 on the weekends. This is utter nonsense. They should have extended hours or at least move them to middle of the day when they're reasonable for people to not have to get up at the crack of dawn just to go swim. It's also disappointing that they don't have any 35 lb stack weights for the floor. It's not even that clean. Really disappointed in this place.

My grandson has autism and has been attending the playroom for a while now with his sister. Up until now I have had no personal issue with the Playroom. My grandson was discriminated against by staff named Rebecca solely for his autism. My granddaughter reported to me that when my grandson asked Rebecca to play with him she told him "Go Away" Are you serious???? Why work in a childcare establishment if you are going to be dismissive towards children. This is NOT the first time this staff member has discriminated against children with autism. As I've heard from other parents that she inappropriately raises her voice and grabs the children's arms forcefully. Just a few months ago a child with autism was shoved by a male staff member. I presume they've fired him as I've not seen him since then. I wholeheartedly hope they do the same to Ms.Rebecca. The previous supervisor Amanda on this shift was made aware of this behavior but did NOTHING!!!! , then 2 weeks later the shoving incident happened.I demand LVAC to look into this matter with this staff member.

LVAC in North Las Vegas is easily one of my favorite places in town! It’s only a five-minute walk from my house, which makes it super convenient. The gym itself is spacious and has all the machines I need for a solid workout. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which adds to the great experience.
One of the highlights for me is the pool—it’s big, never too crowded, and perfect for my weekly swim. My only complaint is that they could ease up on the chlorine a bit because my skin gets really itchy after, but that’s a minor issue compared to how nice it is overall. The Jacuzzi and saunas are also great for relaxing after a workout.
Another bonus is their bar with protein shakes and snacks—a nice touch for post-workout refueling.

Beautiful, spacious gym with friendly employees. The only downside is that it's big but should have been bigger. Quiet and safe late at night.
If you end up being a member for 26 months, make sure you ask them about lowering the cost of your membership.
They were very irresponsible during the COVID19 pandemic and I'll never totally forget that. They also clearly want to push right wing narratives based on the political candidates they endorse and the choice of television networks they put on their screens in the cardio area.

The gym itself is nice. Most of the staff are pleasant. But ladies come on... the bathroom/locker room is ridiculous! Most mornings around 6:15am the bathroom is trashed, toilet paper all over the floor and toilets are a mess (I won't go into detail) I couldn't imagine leaving that kind of mess anywhere and expecting someone else to clean it up! I feel bad for the staff that has to clean it. Ladies do better! Clean up after yourselves!

This location has excellent customer service. I noticed there was a gay member in the gym wearing some sort of pride flag, so I reported him to the manager, and he got kicked out. I will absolutely be continuing my membership here. Also is very clean and spacious, easily the best gym I've been to.

Very friendly staff, clean club, great amenities! What's fun is the staff knowing you and having your towel ready for you when you check in. Makes it like a VIP.
One thing I've noticed is there seem to be a lot more teenagers coming in groups and taking up multiple machines so it may take a long time to get a machine.
Monday through Friday from 6-9 is very busy... but everyone is off at that time. After 9pm is great as crowds really die down.
Sundays are great days and Saturday evenings are fantastic as well.
I also love that they FINALLY have their pricing on their website so you know what you're getting in to.

I have been a member of this location since they opened this location and have been getting worse and worse. The Lockers room dirty floor. Really dirty Lockers it almost looks like they never clean inside the Lockers.
The water on the shower has no pressure it, and super super dirty floor walls.
Hair on the floor and the walls had like blood really, really nasty
The toilets are disgusting floor surface walls. The smell is very bad.
I hope these issues get taken care of asap. This is a health issue

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!! They leave some big details out of their “monthly contract”. I didn’t even sign up thirty days ago but am required to give thirty days notice AND pay annual fees so I HAVE to keep a membership until March, although the manager that signed me up said cancel anytime. They are really good about hiding all those hidden fees. Terrible customer service and terrible gym. I called before my monthly membership was due to cancel, didn’t ever receive a call back from a supervisor so I called again the next day only to be told it was I. The disclaimer of the agreement. Definitely should’ve read that instead of listening to the manager who signed me up. And because it was a day later, even Though I called the previous day to cancel, I have to pay for another month? Wow. Very disappointing business practices LVAC!

I had the worst experience here. Not sure if all LVACs are like this. But I thought I was the only one but I have to second multiple reviews down here. The manager mike is the absolute worst person and makes the whole experience unbearable. it appears the owner is okay with mediocrity, even worse poor service. I hope the owner pays attention to this and other reviews and reconsider Mike and the general customer service.
I have been harrassed by mike multiple times. He comes behind me while working out and comments on if my butt crack is showing.He comes to sauna and disturbs even if all the rules are followed One cannot have a conversation with him or even express the way you feel.. He encouraged two women to tell me about my butt cracks. In addition he has mentioned to them he has talked to me before about that.This is a violation of privacy. Possible cauise for lawyering up.In a gymnasium, when people are moving their bodies vigorously, there is bound to be some slippage. This guy is constantly watching for my butt cracks. I have worked out in many gyms all over the world with the same outfit and nobody has complained. Perhaps because they have a life.
I hope someone above Mike sees this and takes some corrective action or fire him as others are also saying that he has no customer service skills where that is the only job of his.
Here's to the owner. You may get members since Las Vegas is a transitory city but you wont get the satisfaction of serving the members who pay.
This has left me a bitter taste and i will be exploring other Gyms.

Good gym, no real complaints. It is usually pretty busy during the times you'd expect it to be busy. The music is always really loud, I can usually hear it above my head phones. I'm not much of a swole gym bro and don't know much about the equipment. Would be cool if they had a class once or twice a month to help get newbies more knowledge about it. That or finish that section of the website, there's like 3 treadmill tutorials and that's it. If I cared more I'd probably rate it lower.

So I just moved here to Vegas about a week ago and after getting settled in I got up today in search of a new gym. This was the 1st placed I called, UNFORTUNATELY I never got to try out the facility because in order to even TRY the facility to know if you like it or want to make this your permanent home base gym you got to pay $20 for a day pass or lock into a membership. Been to plenty of gyms over the year's, unless it's a private upscale gym, I've NEVER went to a gym that didn't have atleast a free 1 day to 3 day trail pass to try out the facility before having to make a decision, especially never from a franchise branched gym like this one lol. This review ain't more bout the facility, more about they scamming rules and policies of $20 day passes for new members looking to sign up, but don't want to lock into a membership just yet just based off a half ass walk thru pointing tour of the facility.

The Las Vegas Athletic Club on Decatur offers a spacious and well-maintained facility with a variety of equipment and classes for all fitness levels. I want the owner to see this review and I will change it after because I have had nice experiences with LVAC since 2016 except for today.
Your manager, Mike is an extremely unpleasant person to deal with. He has no problem solving skills.
I did report the entire situation to Alberto, the supervisor. Alberto told me to avoid Mike and ask to speak to him from now on but a manager of a well respected business should have enough customer service skills to handle things on their own.

The front desk staff at this gym was incredibly rude. When I confronted her about lying about ID policy she saved face and denied it, saving face the whole time. It's disappointing that the management doesn't hold their staff accountable for their behavior but will dictate how customers should feel when dealing with blatant disrespect from teenagers. I am not dealing with such disrespect and lack of protection as a customer was unacceptable, as both staff member rolled their eyes, and snickered behind my back as I walked away. Lets add that My husband is a disabled veteran, and I'm a bodybuilder, so we take gym etiquette seriously and we have owned gyms before and WOULD NEVER handle customers this way.
Believe the other comments as you continue to read about the front desk being unmanaged teenagers/unprofessional adults, It is not their fault though when management does not train them.
It is not you feeling this way it is absolutely the UNMANAGED STAFF protecting bad ethical behavior.

Tried this place out as a guest since my husband has a membership and was so immediately disappointed. We went on a Saturday morning and it was packed, no room to move around. Machines were crowded and its gross that there are no sanitizing stations through the gym, only a few here and there. My husband tried to downgrade his membership and he was told he had to pay a fee of $50.00 to do that, what an absolute scam. Then we tried to cancel the membership as a whole and you can only do that after talking and calling corporate. This is 2024 and you cant cancel a membership online or at a location, this is a way to make members hang out longer and forget to make a call and continue to get charged, who does that. Gym membership should not be this complicated. He ended up joining me at Planet Fitness where everyone is helpful and there are no hidden fees or weird rules. This place is a joke, and don't even get me started on the absurd parking situation!

My Son notified the club in June that he was leaving for college and wanted to cancel the membership for August. I called in July to confirm that the membership was canceled. The person at the LVAC on Decatur notated his account and told me we were all set. His account was inactive as of August. I was not told once that I had to call Member services corporate. Member services will not let me take over his membership I have to supply his college acceptance letter, room and board payment on college letter head. Do not buy a membership from here and DO NOT believe the salesmen who LIE. They said it was easy to cancel and now we have late fees and a cancellation fees when we gave them the appropriate notice that the sales team told us we needed.

The staff is great. Trainers don't really train you during sessions. The pool smells like vomit. The pool is also always packed regardless of the hour even at 1-3am. And you have to jump through so many hoops if you’re not military to break their contracts. Also the women in the women only section are way too judgey and stare to hard.

The policy for someone who is certified care taker for my 22 year old disabled son is less than desirable. I was a member for two yeara until this June. I went in and took my kids since we moved to the north side and asked if i purchase 4 memberships and my son goes in the days his care taker who is 75 and for health reasoms can not work out acxompanies him and waits for him foe rhe one hour he goes in to walk and exercise woukd that be ok and rhe sales person said that there are no exceptions for disabled individuala who have a companionship even if the xompanionship waits for him in your entrance chairs. I probably wpukd have still purchased the memberships had rhey at least offered tp show us rhe gym becauae i have seen it and used it bur my son who is om the spectrum waa disapointed that we wrre not even offered for them to see it inside. We already have planet fitness as well and spoken to another local gym where they do have xlasses for aerobics which is what my daughter who was also there, wanted for her. Sad to say the least. The experience was certainly undesirable. Will not return. Will not recommend tp anyone in our foundation which hold over 65 families in this area also w kids om the spectrum who have nurses who drive them because they are unable to drive thenselves. No ADA considerarions. Good day.

I love the location and accessibility of equipment, BUT the facility is so dirty! It's absolutely disgusting. The equipment has dust and dirt everywhere. The squat racks have caked up dust and dirt on them. Literally every piece of equipment upstairs in the weight lifting area has dust and dirt on them. I make sure I wipe down the machines thoroughly before using them. Don't get me started on the treadmills! OMG the bubble gum! People are absolutely disgusting, but the fact that the gum is not removed is even nastier. Other than making sure the trash cans are not full and that the cleaning solution and paper towels are stocked up, what exactly does the cleaning crew do??? Because they definitely not cleaning. The carpet area where most people do core and/or stretch, is disgusting and smells sometimes. Idk how people lay on the floor without a mat. The whole facility is just a breeding ground for germs and illness. I really enjoy working out at the LVAC. I just really, really, REALLY wish it was cleaner and more sanitary. If you truly care about your members then the facility should show that and it doesn't.

Someone Stole my bike and the gym is not responsible.
If you go to the gym on bike don't come. Someone stole my bike from the ruck. There is no manager on site to help me. They ain't giving any video to the police so they can do something. They make you fill a form so corporate can pull the video and show you.
I asked the counter to leave my bike somewhere safe but they say no a couple weeks ago.
Do not come to this gym, otherwise you gonna have a bad time. No manager on site, no one is responsable of nothing, the gym ain't cooperating with the police.

If I could give 0 stars I would! this lvac location has gone to trash ,Bathrooms are disgusting trash and hair everywhere and napkins are always out and never refilled , management is a joke , they hire young teens who don’t clean anything just walking around taking selfies in the womans bathrooms. I tried going to the manager jimm or jimmy I believe his name was and I’m not sure if he was in a bad mood or not but I told him about some liquid that was in the womans room on the floor and he completely ignored me so I went back in. The womans room and cleaned it myself so no one could get hurt so I went after my workout to speak to him again to complain about how this is a continually happening situation with everthing I stated above and he snarled at me and said yeah yeah as he flapped some papers at me to shoo as bad as I wanted to cry! I couldn’t believe the disrespect I didn’t yell or raise my voice for him to have done that I can’t believe what lvac has become ! Not to mention the other workers who stay on there phone and get upset when I keep asking for my towel , I called coooerate there unfortunately closed but better belive I will be calling in the morning . Save yourselves from the headache please . If this is not resolved I will be canceling.

My wife and I already have a membership at another gym, but we recently moved and LVAC was slightly closer so we decided to give it a try. She got a guest pass but I couldn't go the same day as she did, so we both came back the next day so I could check it out with a guest pass too. Unfortunately, since the guest passes are apparently only valid for one visit, they said that she would have to sign up to join me. I have never heard of a gym that had an intro pass that was good for less than five days, so we were very surprised. This policy is definitely causing people not to sign up, because we ended up leaving without me even trying it out. My wife was totally sold on switching before this incident, and the experience made us decide to stay with our current gym.

In regards to gym showers, Southern Nevada unhealthy HEALTH DISTRICT will require all gyms with showers to provide shower spotters. Shower spotters will sit on ladders and observe patrons taking a shower.
In their infinite wisdom, SNuHD determined that slip and falls pose an extreme risk to the public. When asked for comment, one board member said, "What's a shower?"

This gym isnt what it used to be. Ive been a member since this location opened. It was always well kept, staff was friendly.. pre covid no matter the hour (I usually go at 2am) there was always someone cleaning. Making sure trash was picked up and areas were tidy. Now trash everywhere, staff is awkward and never offers me my towel service that I pay for. I shouldnt have to ask for it.. Juice Bar used to be 24hrs, now is only open from 7a-11pm. Place has gone downhill.

There have been multiple locker break ins (someone literally cutting up the locks) I was one of three individuals that came to find their lockers broken into. All of our cards were stolen. For me personally, they stole my watch and attempted to charge my cards a total close to $6k since I had multiple cards on my wallet. This was around 11pm on a Friday night, The manager stated that they had previous break-ins earlier around 6pm. Which tells me they were negligent to prevent any future breaks-ins. The employees didn't care and practically filed a report that went to their shred bins, as they told me they couldn't find the other reports from earlier that day. I reached out to their headquarters which stated they would refer me back to the General Manager, they havent reached out to date.....it's been going in circles. I filed a Police Report with NLPD. I almost belive it was someone that works there, as they have the tool to break locks.

The people that work here are weird. they scanned my card and i was walking in to the women’s bathroom and one of the MALE workers followed me which i find extremely inappropriate. i accidentally had my moms card in my purse rather than my own. so i scanned in as my mom instead of me and i apologized, and said that i thought i had my card , can i get her card back and i’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. and they kept the card and said you’re not getting this back , are you even 18? treating it like i was using a fake id at a bar or something. and the guy i was talking to rolled his eyes at me and scoffed. and walked away while i was talking to him. so i walked out in disbelief. and i know we can’t cancel our memberships here bc they want a ridiculous about of money to cancel it. we just don’t have that kind of money laying around. they lie and they are rude. my family has been going to this gym for over 5 years now and the way they treated me today was shocking.

I like this gym. My membership allows me to go to any LVAC, and I’ve been to the NW location too, but I prefer this gym, maybe because it’s my home gym.
Working out is rarely a problem here. At most I have a 5 minute wait, and more often than not, I have zero wait on other machines I usually use.
The pool was closed forever but it’s reopened now, so I’ll let that go.
The group classes offered here are awesome - most are Les Mills classes. I absolutely love taking BodyCombat with Joseph (this man has more energy than anyone), and BodyBalance with Analynn.
I do wish this location offered TaiChi and some more variety of classes, along with more mat Pilates classes. That’s the main way this location falls from 5-star locations like LifeTime.
From about noon to 5pm, there are no classes during the week…and most people who can go at 11am can go at 3pm if the right classes are offered. **This is where the real value is versus other locations like PlanetFitness or EOS, both of which are much cheaper.**
It’s a 24-hour gym. Please offer more classes including stretch, more martial arts and yoga classes! Also, more classes that senior citizens like my aunt can do would be great, especially during the off-hours.
Staff have all been really polite and the location is generally clean. I wish they had pre-moistened wipes to use on the machines and better drinking water!

I am paying for nothing. The only reason that I have this Premium membership is to use your pool., sauna.. but until now it is not working. My membership automatically renewed on March 15, I called March 27 to cancel my membership but the lady I spoke with I need to pay the annual that would be automatically charged on my account by April 1. I am so disappointed. They already chrged me for not using their service!! Until now I called if the Sauna and pool is working BUT UNTIL NOW STILL NOT WORKING, and said they don’t know when it will be fix and open again! and it is more than a month already!

Beware, me and my wife were charged $413 each for cancelling our membership. We moved to a new location and were told the only way out of the 26mo contract is to have moved more than 20 miles away from an LVAC or pay in full the remainder of your contract.
This is a predatory company and the way they get away with it is basically a short term loan of your monthly payments. That's why it is so difficult to get out of without paying.
Do not join this gym, they are not upfront when you begin your membership. READ THE FINE PRINT.
Also, the gym is overcrowded, front desk is rude, and pool/sauna are usually broken.

Terrible gym that doesn’t know its own policies. I bought the Premium membership under contract and have had it for a year without any issues, I bought the more expensive one because I often take an underage guest(my sister) with me. For a year I was told that I could sign for my underage guest as long as I was 18 and over, however, now I am being told that someone over 21 has to sign for my guest because “that’s a legal adult”... This is a gym, not a bar. Apparently, according to the manager, it has always been that way since he responded that there had not been a recent change and never was a 18 or older policy. The supervisor/manager I spoke to implied that the employees were wrong and had “most likely let it slide” previously, which is hard to believe since I signed for an entire year with various different employees that told me “18 and over can sign, that’s our policy”. I have also asked about terminating my contract because there is no point in paying for the more expensive one if I can’t use my benefits. Previously, I was told there would be a penalty fee on top of my contract remainder, however, this time I was told I’d just have to pay my contract remainder. This is a great gym if you want a different response from every employee and manager to the same question!

This gym is INSANELY crowded at any time of the day & there’s too many high school kids hanging around in groups acting like they’re in recess. You’re lucky if you can get a good workout in. They need a second Lvac gym on this side of town to alleviate the large crowds, until then, I’ve cancelled my membership & joined a private gym nearby.

After attempting to attend my initial VIP session, I was told that since I am not a Nevada State resident, that I could not try the gym (active duty military but stationed in Nevada). I then asked what the cost was to try it for the day and was quoted 20$, so I then asked for the monthly rate and was quoted $15. Att his point, I could tell that I was annoying their personnel so I left and unfortunately will not return. It sucks because I actually intended on being a long term customer however, they lost me on the fact that I was unable to try their gym.

NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAVE I HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT A GYM NONETHELESS!! At about 7:45-7:50 on January 3rd, 2024. I went to the gym with my boyfriend and he was stopped at the front desk for his membership being expired. The front desk girl was super sweet and offered to get someone else to look into the issue. The most disrespectful child, Daniel, proceeded to come from the office and immediately accused my boyfriend of not paying his membership for the last 7 months. And when my boyfriend explained that he has it on automatic renewal, Daniel said "NAH NAH NAH, he ain't paid." Obviously this conversation was going nowhere so we politely asked for my boyfriends card back as Daniel had confiscated it from the front desk girl. He then said "NAH cause then he gone come back in here trynna get in for free. NAH!" Not only was this extremely unprofessional but it was uncalled for. I want nothing to do with LVAC if Daniel is the type of employee they endorse. I have requested for a call regarding this issue and will post updates accordingly.

Lower the damn music. I can't hear my headphones at all. I have earbuds and noise cancelling headphones, I can still hear the music upstairs and so can the 95% of members onsite who wear their headphones. I just have to say the customer service from Mike D.R was unfortunate. I was a formal member who was given a one week pass. I tried to use that pass and was denied because I was a former member. My only two options was to pay for a day pass or sign up again. He would not even honor the pass that was given to me by an LVAC employee. It’s unfortunate how customer service has gone down in these times. I would give his customer service zero stars if I had the chance.

I returned a call to the billing department today. The representative Jesse was extremely rude, had no customer service skills, he laughed told me to call back and then hung up on me. When I called back I got him again and he hung up on me a second time. Nowhere in the contract does it say that you're going to be treated like dirt. I will not do business with a company that treats people this way. I work in customer service and took time out of my work day to make that call. I will not support a business that treats people this way. I will be disputing the contract based upon this experience. I work too hard for my money and I make my money by being a good customer service representative. LOL

Team Training at Las Vegas LVAC North is the best CrossFit I have come across here in the United States! The instructors are super knowledgeable and very helpful -and great at accommodate If there are exercises you can do due to injuries! I’ve been going to this gym about 3 years now. Recently I had downgraded my membership, I was charged 179 for the year and $32 because I was previously on the premium membership. The customer service lady on the phone let me know I have until November to use the amenities for my premium before my membership downgrades. When I went into the gym they said towel service wasn’t available with my membership and I let the young lady know I had paid for it up until Nov. after I finished my workout I came down and they got “Mike” for me saying he was the manager. I had my receipts pulled up showing I paid over $200 for the month of October. He told me I need to pay $85 instead of listening to my situation, then he tells me he doesn’t know and I have to call customer service, I tell him I had did that and I tried explaining to him what the lady on the phone told me.Then he proceeds to yell at me and call me rude and entitled because he didn’t want to fix my membership. I’ve never been so disrespected at an establishment. After that encounter I got on the phone and customer service fixed it for me. I hope someone at LVAC headquarters sees this. That man should not be a manager, he is hot headed, disrespectful, and couldn’t make a simple adjustment to my account. The manager Mike at the Decatur location is a terrible look for the company.

Terrible condescending employee at the juice bar. As a driver who has done thousands and thousands of orders, this one employee a balding middle aged gentleman in a mask, gave me a terrible time. He did not want to release the order to me despite even confirming the order and showing him the customers address and that I’m supposed to now be on the way with the order. I had to utilize Uber support and out of thousands of deliveries as a platinum driver I’ve never had this happen. I’d avoid this gym and this juice bar. Terrible workers. Glad I’m only visiting here I would never sign up to this establishment after this level of unprofessional conduct. I am 9 months pregnant standing there on support waiting for an order he won’t give me, for a cheap chicken wrap? And they don’t give drivers access to restrooms despite the wait. Horrible place.

Before you sign up for a membership please read this, if you are not in a stable job I would recommend not signing up as you will encounter problems like me, I moved to a different country for a few months and I was charge an extra fee for each month I had missing payments even though I was not using my membership at all, I told them my situation they told me I have to pay even though I’m not using it and I was out of the country, I told them to remove my credit card on file and the lady was very rude telling that they were going to charge a late fee and an extra fee besides that just for removing my payment method! This place is a joke I really regret signing up as you can see when you first go the first day they treat you so nice but after you sign up you are not important anymore, not mentioning that the sauna doesn’t work most of the time and they don’t fix the machines, they also don’t treat good their employees, my favorite zumba instructor got out after working 7 years for this place..
I’m taking my business somewhere else, and please fired all the rude people you have working for LVAC

Front desk staffs needs to be more clear on things. The guy from last night told us one day pass is free for first time & and he asked us for card info & we asked him if we being charged but he said “ no it just for the proof that you are here” but still end being charged next day .
