First, I want to start by saying that I truly enjoy being a member of LVAC I appreciate the flexibility of the schedules, the variety of classes, the convenient locations, and the overall value for the price.
However, today I experienced something that left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer.
Today (October 14th) was my annual check-in day for my InBody scan. Last night before leaving the gym, I asked if I could come in early this morning to complete the scan. I was told that as long as there was a representative at the front desk, it would be fine. I even left for work over an hour early, on an empty stomach, just to get it done.
When I arrived, the front desk representative a very polite young man told me he couldn’t perform the scan but that his supervisor could at this time due to no trainers in. However, when he asked her (Aja), she refused, saying she “wasn’t a trainer” and “wasn’t trying to do it and she’s on her phone” She also mentioned that the door was locked, which it was not. I politely mentioned that all that’s required is entering the access code, and that I’ve always been able to do the scan without a trainer in the past.
Her response and attitude were dismissive and unprofessional. She even commented that she works the graveyard shift and “doesn’t really have to do much” besides sit and be on her phone. That statement, combined with her refusal to help, made me feel disrespected and unappreciated as a paying member. When I checked the door myself and confirmed it was open, she became defensive and said something along the lines of “I can get you to lose your membership,” which I found completely unacceptable.
Additionally, when I originally signed up at this same location, the perks of my membership such as the private locker rooms were not explained to me. I only learned about those benefits after visiting another branch.
I also want to mention a professional and safety concern: as an employee working in a public setting, your face should be clearly visible. In this case, Aja’s hair completely covered her face her eyes, nose, and overall features were not visible at all. From both a customer service and safety standpoint, this is inappropriate. If an issue were to arise, it would be impossible for anyone to provide a description of her appearance.
I’m sharing this not to complain for the sake of it, but because I value this gym and want to see the level of professionalism reflect the quality of the brand. I hope this matter is addressed appropriately and that steps are taken to ensure better training, professionalism, and accountability among staff regardless of the shift they work.
I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this incident.
Thank you for your time and understanding.

My home gym and I love it!
Great staff, massive location with plenty of equipment. They have and Olympic sized pool, and a running track loop around the second level of the gym. First and second floor full cardio section.
Free weights downstairs and a CrossFit style training room.
There’s a women’s only section, which is great for ladies that want a little privacy when training.
LVAC also offers a wide array of classes, I haven’t attended any but I always seen them in there getting it in & it looks like a good time.
They have a juice / food bar which is super good. Smoothies are bangers and people regularly order food and eat at the tables.
The gym has a MASSIVE parking lot so there is plenty of spaces to park. This is a great location for all levels of training and the members are pretty awesome too! Plus they have a sauna and steam room! Love this gym & it’s only 15$ a month!!!!

Turn the music down guys... half of the people in the gym have headphones. the other half don't all care for top 40 pop music. This is a great gym but it just blares terrible radio music so loud. I have my headphones turned all the way up and still cannot hear them over music in the gym.
Have to drop this another star. It is the absolute worst to hear terrible loud top 40 music over my headphones. It is so loud and they don't turn it down if you ask because the music should be louder than the gym equipment? Why!? Who decided that? I cannot even hear my headphones over the awful music.
It would be fine if it were "good" music but this is seriously like lifting in a CVS.
Turn the music down! Please...

It's so much variety of machines and it's the perfect way to get a workout in without too much waiting time coming in between your routines. But there will be at times that it will get after 5 depending on what you're doing but the best part is that its 24 hours and you can go anytime you want

I've avoided giant corporate gym chains my entire life for a reason; just another member number giving them $$$. I understand "policies" and such; however I attempted to cancel my membership due to personal family emergency resulting in not being in Nevada any longer; I called and spoke with someone, asking for an exception to please waive fee's, as I haven't been a member for 30 days; nor have I used the facilities. I was told no, and hung up on.
Then attempted emailing... and this is the response I receive.
Thank you for reminding me why I avoid corporate gyms! Pay a little more to support a business that's going to support you!

I honestly don't get some of these reviews. Maybe those issues are Club specific but I have six different gym memberships besides LVAC to different clubs around the valley as well as in other states. Yes, 6, for personal reasons and convenience!
Outdated equipment? You're kidding, right? Some of their machines are older but most of them are brand new and state-of-the-art. Try going to 24 Hour Fitness in hawaii. Some of the most trashed, old and out of date equipment I've ever seen in my life but the gym is packed. Locally, since other gyms have brand new equipment because the gyms ARE brand new. Give them a few years and we'll how they stack up. MOST other local gyms have old or older equipment.
Half of the equipment broken? That's a joke. I've NEVER EVER encountered that. Some machines are broken or not functioning but generally the machines are well maintained. I guess you could say that since one of the two lat machines you normally use is broken that half of the equipment is broken, generally, that is very disingenuous to say that half of all the equipment is ALWAYS broken. Diversity of equipment and workout options is huge. Even as big as the facilities are and as crowded as it might get during Peak times, there is almost always another piece of equipment that will do almost the same thing. Not ideal but options are awesome!
I just got back from Australia where Anytime Fitness is the gym of choice there. They are everywhere and some of them are pretty big and even though they're small here locally over there, none, I repeat none of them compared to what LVAC offers!
Staff attitudes ARE an issue. I totally empathize with some customer. I don't remember the last time I wasn't given a warm welcome into EOS. However, I RARELY think I'm a valued customer at LVAC and most of the time they make me feel as if I'm interrupting something they're doing that they feel is more important... like talking to their friends or playing on their phones or they just don't take my concern seriously. I should be the most important person when they welcome me into the gym or when they are addressing a problem. That is rarely the case! But to me that is their only major weakness.
For the price, LVAC, has the best clubs overall of ANY club I've used or of which I am a member anywhere in the world from Australia to Asia to Europe to South or Central America!

This is my happy place. I go three times a week. Pool jacuzzi steam room and sauna. Always sparkling clean and the staff is phenomenal. Best gym in Las Vegas in my opinion. Two story’s of exercise equipment. Very nice and huge gym. I have one more thing to say about this gym. The pool area being coed I don’t think it’s appropriate for men to walk around in the pool area in their tight boxer briefs with their bulge in the front sticking out. I believe it’s disrespectful to all the women there and it should be mandatory to wear shorts or swimsuits. This is discussing and absolutely inappropriate. I have had several women look at me and roll their eyes in disgust. You need to change the rules and stop this nonsense immediately. It’s disgusting and unacceptable for women to have to see this. You should insist that all men wear appropriate attire

As a loyal LVAC member for over 10 years, visiting the Rainbow and Lake Mead location 6 days a week, I’ve consistently praised its clean facilities, strategic location, and extensive equipment and cardio sections, which are unmatched in quality. I’ve referred dozens of clients to LVAC’s on flamingo and 215 as well as Eastern and 215, contributing to its business due to these strengths and reliability of being open when no other gym is. However, on Friday, August 8th, at 10:21AM, I was stunned to learn from the manager , Yasir, that my membership had been canceled without prior notice, despite my regular attendance as I’m new to this gym after buying a house near by. I was at the gym this day to meet a potential client, and this unexpected disruption derailed a critical business opportunity that’s left me with shock. When I asked how to resolve this issue, Yasir handed me a card with a number to call and abruptly walked away as I inquired about paying with cash, leaving me with no resolution and cash in hand. This issue could have been addressed in under 5 minutes with basic customer service, but instead, I was dismissed and too problematic. Personally as someone who runs a business, I would never treat my loyal, paying customers with such disregard, as their trust and satisfaction are paramount when in the realm of physical and mental health. This unprofessional handling cost me a potential client due to my schedule that day and me having to drive 30 20 minutes to Paul and David to have my membership moved to the 215 and Flamingo location, where Paul and the staff treat me with the respect expected of a long-term customer. The Rainbow and Lake Mead location has permanently lost my business due to this avoidable mishandling as well as any friends and family who want to come to the gym.
I understand their SOP and what not but this number doesn’t help me when I’m trying to resolve with cash on a strict timeline.

Been coming here very consistently for a few years now. Fairly clean and nice facilities. A few of the staff members that greet you are very pleasant (early AM). My only complaint is the spray bottles and paper towels running out occasionally (usually the weekend). Which all things considered really isn’t a big deal at all. I’ll be sad the day I need to switch gyms for whatever reason.

Good place to work out for sure. Lots of machines for a variety of different work outs. 4 stars due to it being an older LVAC. I’ve been to newer ones and they have newer, updated equipment. This particular one seems a lil dated. Yes they put newer machines at times, compared to the newer ones it lacks a lot of updates.

A one star is doing this place too much justice. Practically half the equipment here is broken. It's extremely hard to get a good workout in because of that. Plus the machines that are working, members just sit on their phones the whole time. Also all the managers are very rude. Especially Esa, Hellen, and Arlene. The way they have not only treated me as a member, but the way I've seen them treat their employees is disgusting. They will literally disrespect and embarrass members and staff. They need to be fired or go through some type of training. I'm probably going to cancel because of them

Scammy business that fails to disclose the full details of their memberships while speaking with employees. Their “month to month” is still a minimum 60 day contract. As you cannot cancel within the first 30 days & need to provide a 30 day notice to cancel. Manipulative and scammy. Do better for locals LVAC.
Called corporate. Instead of letting me finish my sentence they already had me transferring to someone else. They run it like a bank. They convinced me signing up was the only option, knowing they were unable to provide the service I was out sourcing. So disappointing.

While the facility itself is decent and the equipment is maintained…(except the dry sauna. Please, don’t let people walk in their shoes inside. Disgusting. And yes, it’s BARELY WARM, not even close to hot)…I was disappointed by the behavior of one of the employees.
Me, my wife and our friend always training together. He has more experience than us, always giving us some advises.
Couple of days ago LVAC Northwest employee Lindsey came up to us and told our friend he can’t do it he has to pay $600 if he wants to be a personal trainer.
Well he is not a personal trainer and don’t tell him “you can’t just bring 10 Russians here and train them”. What exactly this supposed to mean???????
This employee made my pregnant wife feel uncomfortable by engaging in an inappropriate interaction with a friend who was training with us. His gesture of telling my wife to "☝️ shush" when she said “it’s our friend!!!“ was unprofessional and disrespectful. Don’t SHUSH MY WIFE, shush YOUR OWN WIFE and friends whoever you want at your own home, ok???? Not at your work !!!!
I didn’t want to escalate things right there at the gym and didn’t want to ruin others training. Writing a review and calling the corporate probably will be more effective. Just STOP HARASSING PEOPLE.
It's essential for a gym to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. I hope the management can address this behavior to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and respected while working out.

Don’t waste your time here. The equipment sucks. It’s broken or on the verge of doing so. I cancelled within the month. But this gym keeps charging my card. But who do they suppose the made the transactions FROM Lvac?? Pure incompetence.

Corporate office tells you one thing and the manager (what is he 20?) tells you another. The gym has always been alright but the manager we encountered tonight is rude and should stay off his phone while "helping" people. Also got to the machines and found this. The past couple times, including tonight, they have been out of paper towels upstairs.

Aside from the fitness areas and workout equipment view. No type of gym has continued to be a major stronghold influence within Las Vegas.
From the decision to remain open during the Covid shutdown. The decision to shut down the pools after a swimming fatality. After the recent shooting, the decision to offer counseling to those affected that day.
With strong decision-making. Comes great responsibility. LVAC
difficult decision-making deserves to be looked upon as a city council committee.
And noted how that type of power is not always a Marvel-ous thing to manage.

I’ll explain everything in full detail because your “systems are down” according to a rep at the corporate office, even though she was able to run my member ID & I had to verify my address and phone. Strange that the system worked for that but nothing else.
Talked my girlfriend into dropping EOS to come to LVAC. Went into the Rainbow Blvd location to get her signed up & my membership upgraded to the next level so I could visit any club.
The rep that “greeted” us just walked up with a dirty towel & stood in front of us. Didn’t welcome us or anything like that. Literally just stood there until we said something. I explained what we wanted to do, but she was only concerned with signing up my girlfriend, not answering any of my questions.
After signing up my girlfriend, I mentioned what I wanted to do concerning my membership. The rep told me I would have to call corporate and she would get me the number. She left with my girlfriend to take her picture. She walks back into the office and asked if I needed help with something, clearly forgetting that we’ve spoken for several minutes very recently.
She finally gets the number for corporate on a card that has writing on the back about a busted urinal in the club….weird.
So I call corporate at 8:30 AM today (5/16) and after verifying who I am, I’m told the systems are down and to try to call back on Monday. I’m no IT expert and I’m sure the rep at corporate wasn’t either but what if the system comes back up today? A little proactive customer service would be to say “I’m so sorry our systems are down and I realize how frustrating this must be for you. You want to upgrade and spend more money with us, so I’ll take down your name & number and call you back when if they come back up today, would that be ok?” But alas, all I got was the lady that kept trying to talk over me and interrupt me. The only solution was to call back Monday when they are working. How does she know they will be working then?
It’s so maddening to think that I pay monthly dues, membership, activation fees, etc. AND get them a new member, and all they care about is getting that initial sign up. And this place is the best of Vegas????
It’s probably a good thing for them at least that my girlfriend signed up before addressing any of my questions, because if I knew how difficult it would be to pay you folks more money, we would have went someplace else, but now we’ve paid for my girlfriends membership fee and don’t want to waste the $85 it will cost her for her first month.
Typical sleazy gym, not the “Best of Vegas”.

Been a member for several years and have been mostly happy. The pooks and hot tub are only open. A few hours everyday due to corporate being unwilling to pay a lifeguard. I see the women's locker room getting lots of cleaning attention and there is sanitizing spray and paper towels in many areas. I stopped going to spin because even with ear plugs I left class with my ears ringing- too damn loud, even the cool downs are ear drum popping loud. The dirtiest part is the parking lot where bad customers drop plastic and aluminum, weed containers and take out food. I can always find an open machine and there are many, many options for all kinds of workouts and classes. Though I think aqua classes are also cancelled because of life guard issue

My wife and I are dues paying members for over 4 years. One of the “perks” is being allowed to have a guest. She and her son (who is visiting from Europe) were denied entry because he didn’t bring his passport along. To exercise. Apparently the front desk considers themselves Homeland Security agents. Absolutely ridiculous! There’s a fundamental contradiction here, either you entrust active members when they present their ID to responsibly invite a guest (that you brag about during orientation) or you do not trust your members. There’s no other conclusion. It’s a gym, not a bank. He wasn’t going to get far stealing dumbbells. I’m considering canceling my membership. This is pure ego at the front desk and there’s other options throughout Las Vegas.

This place is awful, awful, awful, awful. I never posted a review, but my experience is so dreadful, it has to be shared. I’m partially to blame. When i signed up i was assured it was a month-to-month membership. Attempting to cancel 6 months later (never went) i was told it was a 3-year contract. This wouldn’t be the worst thing, it’s fairly inexpensive, but the facilities are filthy: black, dirty toilets, machines with bits of hair and debris, sinks yellow with buildup, filthy locker interiors. I would never take a shower here. So now I’m trapped until 2026 paying 25 dollars a month for a place i never want to step foot into again. I thought gyms stopped pulling scams like this.

The rep told me I qualify for $144/year ($12/month) and that this option has been available for years—since my contract ended. When I asked why I wasn’t informed, he said, “You have to call to ask.” How could I ask about something I didn’t know existed?
I also asked about lowering my wife’s $31/month membership, as we no longer use childcare or towels. The rep said it would cost more—$179/year—because she’s “downgrading” from a higher plan. So, loyal customers who’ve paid more get penalized? Frustrating and disappointing.

Very poorly cleaned equipment, couldn’t use a machine without getting muck and grime on my hands. Cancelling was also another hassle. Even though I cancelled around 4 weeks in, they force you to pay the 45 day annual fee, AS WELL as another monthly fee. I was told while signing up, that as long as I cancelled BEFORE the annual fee, that it could be easily avoidable. Not to mention that cancellation is only available through calling corporate. So be weary especially if your getting a short term membership, they WILL take advantage of you.

Seriously, this gym is horrible and does predatory business practices.
The facility is actually impressive, and you get tons of equipment for your money, the problem is this place is absolutely disgusting.
I couldnt even bench heavy without my hands sliding to the sides due to the barbell being caked in sweat and body oils. All of the benches throughout the gym are slippery from buildup, we own a detail shop and know what that looks like, it's absolutely gross. These do not get cleaned regularly at all.
If you use the free weights to squat or deadlift, forget it. Your hands will often times turn blackish and you'll see all the dirt wash off when you go to wash your hands. I feel like the members don't see how bad it is because they don't know any better or been to a nicer gym.
And then there's the membership. When we moved here we got stuck in their 2 year contract despite only going for a few months.
We re-signed up at a cheap rate just for the gym because my brother couldn't afford Lifetime, it was so bad we canceled WEEKS before their $49 "annual fee" was due and they charged us not only for the fee, but for the NEXT months dues as well. $60 TO CANCEL they're gym. They won't tell you this, youd have sit there and read the fine print. Terrible business practice. They don't deserve your business.

Their website doesn't work, most likely done on purpose. Needed to change my password and system doesn't work to reset it, had to call corporate, waited and got hung up before even saying anything. Equipment is old and dirty, very limited cleaning supplies and poor member ethic to clean up after use. Asked manager personally if they could add more cleaning stations, claimed they would look into it, still nothing has been done months later. Currently looking for another gym.

This place was a great workout spot when I was there, but I lost my job when the Mirage closed July and had to move out of state and they make it nearly impossible to cancell. I went in person to but was told I had to call corporate. How is it legal that I can sign up there but they make it impossible to cancel. When moving it took me months to get proof of address. I've called corporate multiple times and they have refused to help me in my situation and are extorting me 50 more dollars to cancell, when I've been being charged unnessarily for 4 months. The staff in person are amazing but despite the awesome in person staff, LAVC as a company will treat you horribly. Do not sign up!

Customer service at this gym is awful. I signed up for a gym membership to use the pool in August 2024, and two weeks after that, the pool shut down indefinitely. (Someone died in it earlier this year, yikes). I asked to waive the fee for the annual membership considering I used the pool for 2 weeks before the pool shut down, and of course they said no. On top of that, good luck trying to cancel your membership without a huge hassel. You can't cancel in the gym, you have to call corporate. Corporate has such long wait times, meanwhile the call drops while waiting to speak to someone. I called several times asking for this consideration of removing the annual fee, and each time some nice person said they'd ask their manager to call me back and it never happened. That never happened. After numerous attempts, their bad customer service wore me down, and I just ate the annual fee and decided to write this review. So, buyer beware.

Warning‼️ I was in the locker room completely naked besides wearing my towel. There’s a young girl in there sitting on the opposite side and I can tell she’s getting ready to take a selfie. She looks at me, puts the phone down for a second then lifts it back up to do it again and starts taking pictures. I called her out and she’s saying there’s nobody in her background, it’s not pointed at me, to mind my own business and it’s not that big of a deal, etc. She gets pissed and stormed out of the locker room. I go report her to the front desk and speak to a manager. I can most definitely identify her. They do nothing!! He said they can tell her to stop but that’s it. He also went on to say these are different days we live in. Totally unacceptable. These people need to have memberships revoked or suspended. I will be escalating this issue.

I been going here since I was a teenager. Absolutely the best gym in Vegas. However the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because there's a Russian Blonde trainer who has a minimum of 10 clients at work at one time and she's extremely rude and takes up 1/4 section of the gym. For instance if you want to do legs or n the squat and deadlift room, forget it if she's in there because all 10 clients are in there hogging the whole section. Lvac you need to make a separate gym for trainers only

Since my wife’s membership was expired due to pregnancy, gym policy was not to let non member inside even to order at the juice bar. Frequent user of the rainbow location. Staff is relatively chill and no jerks. My only complaint is the trainers sometimes gatekeep equipment for over 30 minutes waiting for their clients then 2-3 clients show up and they all continue to gatekeep equipment for the next hour or longer. Personal trainers shouldn’t need to stand guard on equipment they should now alternative exercise to work the same muscles but whatever it’s here nor there and this is suppose to be positive.
The gym is excellent, honestly it’s a gym who gives a damn about some dust? And the other review I read the guy said he wanted to stay at planet fitness because it has more athletes but bro you need numbers on the weights to know their weight? Anyway.. love LVAC thanks for helping me lose a few hundred pounds.

Just did a tour with Ramsey and it was absolutely the worst experience! He was so rude from the start and after he showed us the gym he got upset that we wanted to look at other options and said “ then we don’t have anything else to say from here” then got up and made us leave. I genuinely had other questions and the tour was fine but he completely dismissed us at the end. Bad experience. He needs to be more welcoming.

lvac used to be the best gym in vegas. not as nice as it used to be in 2018. but even worse than that is this lady at the desk who doesn’t know how to talk to people. i tried bringing my wife as a guest and she said she needs a card with her for insurance purposes that we don’t have. and confused i asked if we should just leave, because she just stated that we need something we don’t have, something i would assume lvac gives us so i can use my wife as a guest pass ? she just stuck her hand out at us and looked at us like, “what do you think i’m gonna do”. so we left and now i’m going to eos lmao.

Tested the gym out today to see if I wanted to switch. Never been so confused about a fitness center. The machines are all set on shiny slippery floors I couldn’t get any proper foot traction. Place could use a deep clean and some new labels on weights so I can see how much I’m actually lifting. Bathroom grossed me out. Filled with people dropping weights after doing a set of the weirdest exercises I’ve seen. I’ll be sticking with my planet fitness membership which, to my surprise, is way better equipped for athletes.

UPDATE: I EMAILED THE GENERIC EMAIL ADDRESS BELOW WITH MORE DETAILS AND THEN AGAIN ON MONDAY (APRIL 1ST). NO RESPONSE. MAYBE A/I GENERATED CARING? OR ZERO CARING? THEY HAVE A PROBLEM THERE. On the evening of April 11, 2024, I visited my local LVAC gym for an evening workout at 1725 N Rainbow Blvd. Upon my arrival, I proceeded to the front desk to request a towel. The personal trainer who attended to me was a young Hispanic man with short hair, who was not wearing a name tag, making it difficult for me to address him properly. However, I was taken aback when he handed me the towel with a frown and a harsh tone of voice, placing it on a soiled counter, rather than handing it to me politely. This unwelcoming and disrespectful behavior from a personal coach representing the LVAC made me feel quite uncomfortable.
After my workout, I returned to the front desk to drop off my towel, but to my dismay, another male LVAC employee, who was African-American, was leaning on the counter while chewing gum. He asked for my last name in a rude tone, without any formal greeting or friendly smile. I was surprised that neither the front associates, nor Mr. Hakeem, who was rude and disrespectful, had anything to say to me. Instead, they resumed regrouping and conversing amongst themselves, without bothering to offer a simple "Thank you" or "Have a nice day."
As a long-time member of the gym, I was disappointed to see that the LVAC employees were lacking in basic people skills, interpersonal skills, and manners. It was disconcerting that a request as simple as a towel could result in receiving dirty looks and rude behavior. I believe that the management should address these issues and ensure that their employees represent the LVAC with professionalism and friendliness towards their members. I hope that the management takes my concerns seriously and implements the necessary changes to improve the overall experience for all of their members.
On the evening of October 27, 2023, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., I had an unpleasant experience at the Las Vegas Athletic Clubs - Northwest located at 1725 N Rainbow Blvd. I arrived at the gym and proceeded to the front desk to check-in. As I approached the desk, I noticed two female front desk employees who were not wearing their name tags and appeared to be of Hispanic descent. Both employees were playing with their smartphones and did not acknowledge the gym members that were coming in. Their behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming.
As I reached the front desk, Mr. Tarim, one of the managers on duty, scanned my card without offering a proper greeting. He was preoccupied with a conversation with one of the female employees who was also using her phone. I politely requested a towel from the other female employee, who ignored my request and went inside the manager's office instead. Mr. Tarim then handed me the towel with a stern and frowning face, which made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable.
Feeling frustrated by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the staff, I approached Mr. Tarim to express my concerns about the situation. However, Mr. Tarim cut me off several times and responded rudely and insincerely with "I agree with you." I pointed out that as employees, they should engage with gym members and greet them in a friendly manner. I suggested that as a manager, he should lead by example and be more welcoming and respectful to the gym members.
Overall, my experience at the gym on October 27, 2023, was not a positive one. The lack of professionalism and respect demonstrated by the employees, especially Mr. Tarim, was disappointing and left me feeling undervalued as a gym member. I hope that the management takes appropriate steps to rectify the situation and ensure that gym members receive the quality of service they deserve. I believe that a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is important in a gym, and the staff should strive to make each member feel valued and appreciated.

After spending 45 minutes looking for a particular weight, I finally gave up on it and skipped an important part of my workout. As I was leaving I noticed the very weight I was looking for behind the front desk with staff. I get something not being available because another paying member is using it but for staff to take it while on the clock and keep it for over an hour and a half really makes me question what I'm paying for. I guess if you go between 3 and 430 am screw you, right?

I have been a member here for over 10 years, but just started coming back since before Covid. This is the most convenient location for me, but cleanliness has taken a backseat at this gym. Stair steppers covered in people’s hair every time and the treadmills are pretty dirty; especially the cup holders. You have to try a few to find a decent one. In the women’s gym the treadmills were particularly dusty and when I told the front desk girl she just kept asking “but is it working”? I said I don’t know it’s too dirty to use. I was on my way out at 6:20pm 3/30/24 and don’t know if she actually got it cleaned. I’m sure they can collect dust quickly but I definitely don’t want to breathe this in while I workout.

Been a member since this club opened around 2010 or 2012. Just paid my dues for the next year and will forfeit them. I will never walk back into any LVAC location.
Pay for locker & towels and at least 3 times a month at 7am there is no towels. The dirty ones are overflowing look like it’s since last night. I picked this gym because it’s between my home and my office. I am sure I am not the only person who expects to shower early in morning.
Asked the custodial staff for help they lied to my face and basically did nothing. Told me we will get to it.
Asked for a manager was told no one was in charge and the manager would not be in until 9am.
Have had billing issues in past because the do not always send a bill by email or snail mail. Called corporate they blew me off and blamed the club manager. I took time in middle of my day to go see the manager he blamed the office.
If I’m paying for something I expect to get it. This is NOT an isolated incident. The only company that I ever had worst customer service is the cable company that says a lot.

When my husband and I completed the contract, Mr. Tamer, who works at the 1725 N Rainbow Blvd branch, came and advised me and my husband to enter into a double contract instead of an individual contract, because if we entered into a double contract, they would allow my son to spend more time inside the play room , and thus my son could spend 4 hours. Instead of only two hours in the games room due to the presence of a dual membership... Then I was surprised that the employee who works in the children's room tells me that my son can only stay in the games room for two hours!!! .. So my husband and I went back to Mr. Tamer to ask him about the validity of the information that he had given us,, about my son's ability to sit in the play room for 4 hours, and his response was to reconfirm my son's ability to stay inside the play room for 4 hours, but with the necessity of communication with a call Once again for reservations for the third and fourth hours.. And when the day came to activate Mr. Tamer's advice.. My husband called to make the reservation and I was already inside the gym and my son was inside the play room. That call was at 1:25 minutes in the afternoon of Sunday and that was for a reservation for half an hour. Just an extra because they close the play room at 2 pm on Sundays, and the employee who works in the play room accepted that, and my husband called me and told me that she had accepted... Then I was surprised while I was changing my clothes when I heard a voice calling on the loudspeakers in my son's name and that I had to go To take Him !! from the play room And that was exactly two hours and one minute !!! .. I went directly to the children's room and it was 1:48 pm and I was surprised that she wanted me to sign a warning!!! When I asked for the manager, Mr. Tamer and another manager came!! It was a shock.. I was surprised that Mr. Tamer denies everything he said to me and my husband!! like he did not advise dual membership, and like he did not advise to call twice during one day so that my son can sit for 4 hours.. And the strange thing is that he denied it infront of my eyes!! And 2 extra co-workers for him I could not believe the extent of Mr. Tamer's ability to do this...and my son and I left in amazement at what I saw of Mr. Tamer's lies. In the end, I would never advise placing trust in the so-called Tamer for new members in particular and current members in general. The employee added An information before I leave that My son cannot spend more than two hours throughout the entire day in all branches!!!! That is, I cannot spend two hours in another branch of the gym, and this means that Mr. Tamer is misleading individuals only in I order to sign contracts and ensure monthly money, and he does not care about the reputation and credibility of the place in which he works and receives a monthly salary for his work in misleading individuals and families. In the end, I signed the warning and left

Thank you, Aja for helping me out and taking care of me. You’re awesome!
I chose this place out of all other gyms for the indoor track. I want to improve my skills in boxing and cardio/running is at the top. I had my own treadmill and I recently sold it because I believe it was holding me back and causing me pain in my feet and other areas. The indoor track here is very easy on my body. My 2nd time using it and I successfully beat my 3-mile run by almost 2 whole minutes.
I also like that they have medicine balls that I can slam and throw up against a wall. I haven’t tried out the pools, saunas or anything yet mostly because I have been going late nights and I don’t think those areas are open late at night.
My only suggestion is that they should have heavy bags available 24/7 for people like me can work on our skills.

LVAC itself is a wonderful gym. 2 large floors, loaded with equipment, clean bathrooms, large locker rooms. Physically it’s great.
Though their customer service is terrible. Front desk is ALWAYS rude. There’s one gentleman that does actually greet me and the rest of the people attending.
However most will stare at you like you’re an idiot!
Girl with dark brown hair, droopy eyes and another tan curly haired boy were at the front desk (7PM ish). So majority of the time, there’s 2 people scanning IDs.
Seeing that there was a line forming with the boy, I went to the girl. I said “Hello” and held up my badge, looking at her face to face. She just couldnt be bothered to look at me or say a word. So I stood there for a few seconds while she was looking around like I wasn’t there.
Maybe you shouldn’t be working front desk if you can’t have a simple greeting ?
That was just one of the many, many incidents. They’re generally rude, can’t be bothered to greet you or say hello.
Anyways, while there’s a large amount of equipment, there is so much dust inside. The machines can also be wobbly (?).
Good gym itself, customer service is terrible as well as the cleanliness of gym equipment.

Far as Gym goes I dont have much problem with it. Cleanness and equipment's can be managed little better. Perhaps some equipment's are too old. They need to be replaced completely. However my main problem is their customer service and billing department. I had credit card theft. When I got the new card I went to both gym to update my card. Neither of the gym had that department at the gym. Instead they gave me card to call the number. Which is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. The Problem with that is that's the working hour number for most business'. As result I wasn't able to update card on time. When I explain the reasoning. No matter what they wouldnt budge from Late fee. And I accepted it. Then I asked them, If I can give feedback about their billing and customer service. Rather than listening. They were quick to give their reasoning. It felt as if they didnt care what I have to say. expressing my mind here is only place. I am left with. I recommend everyone not to be under contract with them. If anything get shorter or small membership. It's very difficult to get out of contract. After my membership is complete with them. I am never signing with them again. I will using review for two their locations Rainbow and Flamingo Rd.

I signed up at the location on Decatur and I started going to the Rainbow location as I did not like the layout of the Decatur location. The weighted machines were very close to each other and I didn't feel comfortable at the Decatur location.
Every machine is very well spaced out at the Rainbow location and no matter how packed it is you can always find an alternative to whatever exercise you want to do.
As far as management goes, I haven't had a problem. I haven't had any major issues at the gym myself. The front desk staff is always nice and never fails to greet their members.
You pay $15 a month, if it's a little dusty who cares. There's a million machines and weights in there, you cannot possibly expect staff to clean every single machine and weight when it's a 24 hour gym.
As far as equipment maintenance goes, A+! They seem to be very on top of getting broken equipment fixed. I'll walk in one day and a smith machine is down. I'll walk in the next day and it's fixed. Kudos for that!!

i just moved here from san diego and was looking for a new gym to join here in vegas and i went to the LVAC location on Decatur for a day pass and i almost didn’t sign up, cause it was dirty all around the free weights area there was tons of hair and dust bunnies which is a no for me, it was so busy and the equipment didn’t look as well kept. I decided to give this location a try on rainbow and i’m so glad i did, and ended up signing up! have to give props to the manager here and their cleaning crew because they know what they are doing. so very clean and well kept gym equipment.

Been coming here for a year and half, glad my contract is almost over! Management are worthless. They all sweet and nice when you try to sing up but when you have an inconvenience ; like someone braking in to your locker THEY DONT KNOW NOTHING nor can get you footage without police report nor they care! Also it would be nice if they invest in some yoga matts for the ladies room!!

Extremely poor customer service! I recently relocated from another state and decided to explore the Flamingo location of your gym. During my visit, I had a pleasant walkthrough with a friendly staff member. However, my husband and I were interested in seeing the Rainbow location as well. Our intention was to evaluate the layout, ambiance, and crowd levels, as different gyms can vary in these aspects.
When I spoke with Ramsay, his attitude was immediately dismissive and impolite. He bluntly stated that I couldn't visit multiple gyms and didn't seem interested in understanding my reason for wanting to view the Rainbow location. Despite my explanation, he responded with rude remarks and insisted that there was no difference between the two locations, aside from Rainbow being slightly larger by about 1,000 square feet. He also emphasized the number of years they had been in business but failed to acknowledge my request for a one-day pass to experience the gym firsthand.
I informed “Ramsay” that we hadn't received a one-day pass at the Flamingo location, but they were willing to provide one. However, he simply replied with a firm "no," stating “you can’t just hop around gym” claiming that everything was the same and there was no need to check out Rainbow. Eventually, he reluctantly offered a tour, of course I didn’t not want to proceed with a tour with the interaction and tension between a potential new member, after acknowledging my frustration but failing to address his own unprofessional behavior. As a business owner myself, I find it unacceptable to treat potential customers in such a disrespectful manner. This location has lost our business. I wish I read the reviews sooner. LVAC should work on training their employees how to treat their members and new potential members. I’m so disappointed with this interaction I just had to experience.

If you join as a member, be sure you understand the contract first. It's definitely a buyer beware situation. Things I was not told when I signed up: 1) You're on the hook for the full contract value, so don't think you can quit before your contract is up. Even if you're injured or disabled, you have to have a doctor's letter and submit everything in writing. I recommend reading the Better Business Bureau listing for LVAC before you sign up. 2) If you auto-pay for your membership fees each month, your membership will *automatically renew* (on a month-to-month basis). 3) You CANNOT disable the auto-renew until after the final payment of your contract.
