I really wish this gym would update the machines and equipment. Plus they need to do a better job with cleaning the dust in the vents and ceilings. I stopped going cause of my allergies. Lifetime fitness does a better job.

Wow LVAC the cleaners have really out done themselves. The ac is really dirty the clumps of dust fall down. Josh should not be cleaning every-time he cleans things don’t get clean. This location has Great equipment however its by far the dirtiest location. See the poop photos hanging from Co-ED sauna ceiling. Managers were informed nothing happened. I hear the call of the health department. Yes the entire ceiling is sprinkled in what looks like poop. When the cleaning person was informed he did nothing.

Playroom staff are rude ,I took my 2 year old and 9 years old, and they called me after 20 minutes saying my 2 years old crying for 15 minutes and they can’t calm him down, I came and was shocked,he was crying really bad and he told me the lady with blue hair yelled at him , I asked girls and they said ,he was running and she told him LAUD to stop ,my 9 years old daughter confirmed ,the Afroamerican lady with blue hair yelled at my 2 years old ! If they don’t like kids, why do they work there ?!!! I do not recommend to bring your kids there! Canceling the membership.

The overall service is great and everyone understands the meaning of the word professionalism and customer service, "BUT", the one thing I need to point out, which is in contrast with what I just said, is the "constant" breaking down of the steam room and the sauna poor igenic condition!!!! Using the power pressure once in a while is not enough! Allowing people to get in with shoes and streclothes, is a high form of disrespect and negligence and it should not be tolerated!! The now dirt-darkened wood needs either to be replaced, due to the presence of splinters, OR at least, sand it down! Will it EVER happen? We'll see ... food for thoughts. Thanks!

I always look forward to coming into this gym, and a big reason is the welcoming environment Matt helps create at the front desk. He’s not only professional and friendly but also goes out of his way to help members feel comfortable. Recently, he helped me sort out an issue with my membership and made the process stress-free. It’s clear he cares about the people here, not just the job. Having someone like Matt up front makes the gym feel more positive and inviting.

Before the pandemic, I was a member at LVAC. When gyms shut down, I naturally stopped going and paying, since the facility wasn’t even open. Later, when things reopened, LVAC tried to charge me for those months, insisting that I had to close the contract. I refused, because those were pandemic months, a time when gyms were closed and people everywhere were affected.

Fast forward: I decided to give LVAC another chance because they now advertise a month-to-month plan with no contract. I paid the enrollment, trained a couple of times, and then one day, when I came in, I was treated in the most unprofessional way.

At the front desk, the employees looked at each other, told me to wait a moment as if they were going to get me a towel, and kept me standing there awkwardly. Then, they called over another staff member, showed something on the computer, and this person finally informed me that my membership had been canceled because of an old balance. The way it was handled was humiliating. Instead of being upfront, they acted as if I was trying to sneak in or escape the situation. I felt completely disrespected.

Not only did LVAC cancel my membership without refunding the money I had just paid, but the way the staff treated me left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated.

Because of this, I have decided I will never return to LVAC. Thankfully, Las Vegas has plenty of other gyms with better staff and more respect for their clients.

❌ Frustrating experience, unprofessional staff, zero respect for members.
✔️ My recommendation: choose another gym in Las Vegas.

The staff are friendly and not pushy, which is a positive. The equipment is acceptable, though much of it is starting to show its age. The childcare option is a nice touch, but the outdated website and app make it frustrating to reserve a spot. On top of that, my daughter ended up catching strep there. Not surprising given the number of kids, but still unpleasant.

The real problem is canceling. The required 30-day notice is completely unnecessary for a gym of this size and feels like an intentional way to nickel-and-dime members, especially when there’s already a $45 annual fee on top of monthly dues. It left a sour taste and was the biggest reason for my low rating.

Friendly staff can only go so far when the business practices and outdated systems get in the way.

Disappointed with lvac that I’ve been
With for 15 plus years. An issue that happened to be with child care and an employee trying to connect with my 6 year old through Roblox. Not only was he giving his information to my son but also to little girls. Kid was 17. Which is wrong in many ways. So I froze my account and was going to decide if I was going to go back. I decided to go back but cancel my child care because well them not handling it the right way. So all I wanted was them to cancel my child care and keep my membership. I was told to cancel and refund my money but then when I resign up I’d have to pay 209-360. After dealing with that issue which was a serious issue involving my son I figured they keep me at $150 for the year. I told them if I have to pay more then might as well as cancel my membership all together. How did I have to deal with what happened to my son to have to pay more to rejoin them after being with them for 15 plus years. That’s crazy. Seems to me that they truly don’t care about there customers. To me this is crazy

This is my Hangout spot on my days off. Best place to swim, workout & relax. They got great protein drinks. My favorite is the "GOING APE" throw in some weight gainer & lift some weights. I have a V.I.P membership here so I like to spend most the day swimming, working out & watching Netflix while doing cardio. They have 2 different saunas & a Jacuzzi. Perfect day at the gym. The place is always clean & the staff very friendly.

I love LVAC, however, I do not love this location. If it wasn’t the perfect spot to hit on work days there’s not a chance I would come back here. This location is dirty and not once have I ever seen any staff cleaning, the saunas are down a majority of the time, the paper towels and soap are rarely ever stocked. The wet begs that are provided to put bathing suits and wet clothes in are well, never ever stocked actually. Not once since I have been coming here the past couple months has there been any. Super disappointed in this location because this has not been my experience at other locations.

I stopped by LVAC for a workout after taking a break from Life Time, and I had such a good experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful — Anthony helped me out and gave me some of the best customer service I’ve had at any gym. Everything was quick and easy. The vibe during my workout was great — people were respectful, and the whole place had a really good energy. Honestly, I’m planning to join soon and for a fraction of what I used to pay at Life Time.

Really only use this gym out of necessity. Easily in the bottom half of all LVAC gyms. Out of their 30 stair steppers, about 7 tvs work. There's always at least 1 machine that's out of service. The steam room is closed about half the time (with literally no one ever working on or in it). The sauna is never hot enough. And for whatever reason none of the employees have time to change the paper towel rolls throughout the gym floor early in the morning. 5 yrs coming at the same time and literally nothing has changed.

This gym has been in noticeable decline recently. The facility is overdue for a renovation—or at the very least, updated equipment—and it’s consistently overcrowded at all hours, seven days a week.

The bathrooms are frequently unclean, often lacking soap and/or paper towels at the dispensers. In the men’s locker room, some members exhibit a shocking lack of gym etiquette and decorum. While it’s commonplace to encounter nudity in such spaces, I’ve witnessed bizarre and inappropriate behavior on a regular basis, such as a fully naked man standing atop the counter with paper towels under his feet, vigorously flapping a towel to dry his private areas for extended periods. Incidents like this feel borderline harassing, especially as they often occur in high-traffic areas.

Additionally, the juice bar has incrementally raised its prices multiple times over the past several months. For instance, an Eternal water jug now costs nearly $7, whereas it’s available for under $5 at Discount Nutrition in the same plaza and around $4 at Target.

Finally, the gym becomes uncomfortably hot on summer days. While I understand the challenges of cooling a large space during extreme outdoor heat, it shouldn’t feel warmer inside than out. When crowded, the added body heat turns it into a veritable sauna.

I wouldn’t mind paying slightly more for the membership if more maintenance and upgrades were made. LVAC is a great brand and Vegas staple, just needs some refinements.

I’ve been going to LVAC for several years, but I had a concerning experience on 7/10/2025 around 6:45 PM. While using the clearly labeled Women’s Only section, a man walked in, stood there for about a minute looking around, then walked out. No one addressed it while he was in there, and it made the space feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

Even if it was accidental (which seems unlikely given how clearly the doors are marked), I think it’s important for the gym to keep a closer eye on this area moving forward to ensure the safety and privacy of its members.

Also worth noting, the women’s bathroom inside the locker room was in very poor condition that day, which added to the sense that the gym isn’t being properly monitored or maintained.

I have been a member for at least a year now, and have come in to this particular gym on dozens of occasions. Today I went in and for the first time was told to leave my card in exchange for towel service. Weird since I had never been asked before, but I gladly complied. After the conclusion of my workout, when I went up to the desk to retrieve my card, the young gentleman behind the counter failed to find it after a cursory look through the deck. Instead of moving on to the next step, where you ask for help or something, he proceeded to help other customers. Indeed, he did not stop helping other customers because they just kept coming in to get their cards scanned. I proceeded to ask him to get a manager: something he should have done on his own. The mustachioed manager comes over and fails to find my card himself. He asked me if somehow I had my card, and I said no. He said he would make me another card. We went to the desk area where he proceeded to ask me again if I had my card. For the second time, I told him I didn’t. That answer wasn’t good enough for him. He said, “Just humor me and look where you usually keep your card.” So I did, and, lo and behold, it wasn’t there. It turned out that they totally butchered the spelling of my last name, and that’s why they couldn’t find the card. After all this nonsense, I asked if there is something they could do to compensate me. My wife proposed a coupon for a smoothie. He said, “That’s a different company,” and left it at that. My wife then let him know that when she signed up, she got a free smoothie, but I didn’t when I signed up. He refused to make sense out of that unfairness, or the fact that my wife was given a coupon for a free smoothie. When pressed, he offered me a free guest pass. I declined that because it would be useless. So basically, when they screw up and royally inconvenience you, there is nothing they can do for you but lie to your face and say that it is impossible for them to give you a coupon for a free smoothie. Hence, the one star.

A serious problem with all LVAC gyms is that they lack benches and people have to wait and at rush hour it gets a lot worse while a large section of the gym area are packed with treadmills and their usage is maybe at 5 percent of capacity at best and that's at rush our. They need to halve the treadmills and section off the area and bring in more benches and cable stations. As an example this gym has only ONE ab bench

I've been a member for over 15 years. But I also have 15 year memberships at 3 other gyms too. This level of music is so incredibly loud that its impossible to enjoy your workout. They keep the music so loud in their gyms that, even with ear buds in at MAX VOLUME, you vane still here the gyms music in the background. That's insane! Only one star since the gym representative (Tamir "Ty" Wilson) did not disclose that there would be a downgrade fee to change the premium membership to a regular membership. The only reason that I signed up for the premium membership in the first place, was to avoid additional fees upfront. Mr Wilson informed me that I can downgrade my membership anytime, however, he never mentioned the downgrade fee. This is a very dishonest practice that is either the company policy or something that Mr Wilson chose to do in order to convince me to sign up for a more expensive membership. The membership services representative on the phone informed me she was not going to waive the fee and that I should have read the contract...

I suggest doing so as often as it takes so veterans and other handicapped people don't take other measures to correct this gross violation.

Hard to believe a big gym like this only has about 3-5 water aerobic classes a week whereas my little town back home with only about 70k souls has one gym that offered 3-5 classes a day! Thats not counting the other three gyms in my town who all have pools and water classes. I feel like I went backwards in the big city. I needed a place to make up my workouts I miss back home while here on biz.

Overall it’s a nice gym with a smoothie bar and woman’s only section that’s kind of small. I signed up for a 2 year contract in 2023 where they charge me $32 every month. They shortly changed to a contract less monthly and my friend signed up for $15 . We basically get the same stuff honestly. If you’re just going just to workout like everyone usually is, just do the lowest. I contacted to get out of the contract in 2024 but they said I would need to pay fully for the rest of my contact and still tried to persuade me to do $30 a month. I went in person now in 2025 to ask when my contract ends exactly. They said January 2026 on the screen which doesn’t make sense I signed up October of 2023. Once again they told me to pay $144 and continue doing $30 a month afterwards. Idk it’s a nice gym, but they are pretty greedy.

My only issue is the music volume late at night. I usually go during the last hours and the music tends to be a bit too loud, which can be distracting when you’re trying to focus.

Update: Continued predatory business practices. Called to resolve issue and they threatened to take me to collections.

Company runs a promotion for $1 due at signing + first month for a new member to the gym with monthly payments on the 1st of the month. After 45 days the annual fees are charged. What they do not disclose at sign up is they require 30 day notice to cancel after the first 30 days. This creates an non-negotiable/mandatory 60 day commitment including annual fees (tripling the agreed upon payment) that is not disclosed on signing.

Plus the facilities are dirty and always crowded.

I came in on February 25th at 2pm. Immediately I asked the worker Michelle for 2 day passes. Which then she immediately started to question me and my friend’s age for some reason. After we told her our age, she sounded very rude and very unprofessional. She almost seemed like she didn’t want to give us the day pass. The way she was speaking to me and my friend was very displeasing, very stinky attitude. If you do not appreciate your job do not work at the front desk of a gym. Maybe the janitorial position might be better for that type of attitude. Very displeased being my first time and last time at a LVAC. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Over my 25 years as a member, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality of these clubs, especially in the past couple of years. Here are the major issues:
1. Dirty Bathrooms: The restrooms are often filthy and frequently out of soap and paper towels.
2. Excessive Music Volume: The music is unbearably loud. Most members (around 98%) wear headphones, yet the gym cranks up the volume so high that even noise-canceling headphones struggle to block it out. Members want their own vibe so that is why everyone is wearing headphones.
3. Dress Code Enforcement: Members are allowed to run shirtless on the treadmills, dripping sweat everywhere. This isn’t a beach club—it’s a gym. The fact that it’s the same individuals repeatedly doing this suggests management isn’t addressing the issue.

These are simple problems to fix, and addressing them would go a long way toward restoring the gym’s reputation and providing a great experience for years to come.

Revising my review. Below is a review 10 months ago. I called 2 wks ago and spoke with Gassir? Who seemed clueless abt his job. I called and set an appt 2 wks in advance with trainer Phil and imagine my surprise when I called today and spoke with David that my appt tomorrow wasnt there! Good thing I called the day before to confirm or come in tomorrow that I'm not there. David tried but still the mistake happened and it's so frustrating bec thats my free time and cant change it. Kudos to the team for making mistakes over and over. This is not the 1st time!
----
Used to go there 10 yrs ago and came back just a few weeks ago. We usually go and lift at night when its not crowded. I also go during the day and sometimes train with Phil who is a good trainer and attend classes. Big space with pool, sauna, free wgts, track to warm up and lots of machines. Affordable membership

Not as clean as they say. Machines are broken down every time I go in and the staff are basically kids that don’t do anything

Still dirty after reopening. Wish they would just learn how to clean. The steam room smelled like urine and they had not cleaned it in some time. There was mold/mildew everywhere.

Updated: went on a guest pass today. Nothing has changed. Mold in hand dryers, bathrooms still have not been cleaned, screws sticking out of the divider in mens stall. Creepy guys hooking up and stalking in the shower.

They treat the kids so bad! They always yell at the kids for no damn reason! They judge what the kids are wearing and scream at them if they bring a phone or iPad. The kids there are bully’s there are fights arguments my daughter got into a fight before because a boy hit her first and he forced her to fight.

Another LVAC where the steam room was not available. I don’t like paying full price for a gym where all the amenities aren’t available. I came here specifically for the steam room seeing how dry the air in Nevada tends to be. Very disappointing.

Cancelling gym membership here is just as hard anywhere else. I probably hadn't been in since May I went in person to cancel on Sept 28th. Told I need to call corporate and given a card. Went out to my car called and asked to cancel. They asked why? I told them I just haven't been using it and had been months since I went in. They said okay and started mumbling a bit and said it would be cancelled. Well it wasn't I got charged again so I called back again and was told I was supposed to call back to confirm the cancellation!!! What the heck?! so I was like okay cancel me now and he said he couldn't cancel the membership because it had just renewed and I needed to call back again. I told him I wasn't going to call back again to cancel this you know I don't want it I already called to cancel it this is unreasonable and hung up. Well I'm still getting charged so here's my negative review. What a joke.

The people who work here are incompetent at best. The sales guy told me I had a one year contract and come to find out, it's two years. I do not go to this gym anymore, I haven't in over a year. Eilleen, who answers the phone is EXTREMELY rude and has ZERO customer service skills. She hung up on me after she asked me to repeat my question. I repeated the question and she told me I was rude and just hung up on me. I was not rude at all. My question was simply, "With all of the drownings happening at LVAC, it is not safe. Is there a way I can cancel my membership?" I called back and a different lady transferred me to corporate. The gym is dirty and always packed, no matter what time of day it is. I go to Kilo Club and do not need to pay for LVAC, especially when the equipment and floor is filthy, the equipment is constantly out of order, the staff are EXTREMELY rude with zero customer service skills, and they clearly can't stop people from drowning at their facilities. If you're looking for a cheap gym and can't afford a better gym like Lifetime, Fit Club, or Kilo Club, that is clean and has welcoming staff, then go ahead and go to this cheap gym. OR, EOS would actually be a MUCH better choice than LVAC!! You get what you pay for. Some people literally paid with their life!

Overly loud obnoxious pop music. Upon entrance one is bombarded with tons of advertising even people at a kiosk calling you over to clean your shoes then sell their product. I’m trying to go to the gym, not the mall.

Great club 👏, it does get very busy during peak periods. The parking lot can be interesting and difficult to navigate, with people playing on their mobile devices and not watching for cars. I'm giving a 4 star due to the prolonged closure of the pool area. Also, the women's workout room, various pieces of equipment don't seem to be maintained as well as previously.

First off I really like this gym and going here, a little minor things that could be better but that's to be expected. I did however change my rating, because since Oct. 2022 (when I joined) I was on the premium plan. I never used any of those services so today (9/24) I called and wanted the basic plan as I just lift and use the track and that's it. They wanted to charge me a "downgrade fee" of $35 to go to the basic plan. I was upsold back when I started, realized it, and now they make it hard to downgrade.. This is not how you maintain retention of your members.

With multiple large locations in Las Vegas and great prices for memberships, really can't beat it.

The issues I've seen while here are the amount of disrespect when re-racking weights and the lack of cleanliness. I can only describe it as controlled chaos. If you can workout with workout equipment, 100lbs dumbells, barbells, and random weights around you on the floor. Then this is the place for you. It's a mess.

Shoutout to the workers who have to pick up after the members.

A woman, 5'4, about 150lbs, wearing black pants and grey top was taking photos in the women's gym without their permission. The staff was informed, and nothing was done. I was left feeling violated. I asked her to stop, but she continued. The women's gym is supposed to make you feel safe. I don't anymore. Thanks guys.

I have been going to LVAC for over 30 years. I've been to Karen, Sahara locations. Now I go to LVAC on Flamingo and the 215. I go every morning and I know the world has changed but I have complained numerous amounts of times about people greeting me in the morning. I happen to be a very healthy person and have had a business for many years and I believe in professionalism. I find that nobody wants to say hello or good morning MOST of the time. NOTHING has been done and is still the same rudeness. The lady in charge on Friday and Saturday has listened to me and agrees with me. Again, your people do not greet anyone at the door most of the time. Do not say hello or even look up. If nothing changes I will make sure my voice is heard. Most people agree with me but nobody speaks up.

Go here mainly to lift weights, however the equipment needs to be maintained I’ve come across many machines that are missing parts, broken, plates with chunks out of them, and neglected. Not everything is in rough shape. It looks like they got their moneys worth out of the equipment, now it’s time to reinvest into some new machines.
They did finally get someone to fix the water fountain this morning 👍🏼

Best large gym in Vegas. EOS is a joke with their constant, shameless attempts to upsell members on a personal trainer. If someone didn't want it last week, why keep asking? LVAC also has very courteous members who don't leave the free weights room littered with plates and dumbbells all over the floor after being used. They have a women's only weight room for ladies who aren't comfortable working out around men.

If you are serious about working out, you need to join a serious gym. Planet Fitness cannot compare.

LVAC on west flamingo is an absolute joke with the customer service. I’ve been going to LVAC since I was 18 and I’m 36 now. I’ve paid for the Premier membership since day one. And when you go online, the premier membership comes with body fat composition testing. Because I’ve had my membership for so long even though I’m paying the same price I don’t get this service today. But if someone walks in and gets the Premier membership, they do get this amenity. I talk to the assistant manager, and she was unwilling to budge even just a little bit for someone who’s been going to this gym for so long. This shows they are treating their cattle and not like humans. They don’t give anything to someone who’s been a loyal customer to them. The amenities I’ve been paying for my service I’ve never one time used. I would love for someone From this company to reach out to me. I have so many friends who go here and I’m just gonna be so toxic from now on about this place if I don’t get justice.

If you enjoy a gym where most members don't have the respect to re-rack their plates or dumbbells and have benches, chairs and plates scattered all over the floor with no policing in sight and waiting long lengths of time for a machine while people are taking naps, scrolling social media or watching Netflix again with no policing then this gym is for you. They have oversold the membership and don't care. I've complained and if you are reading this please let me out of my contract.

People who go here are not nice and lots of thieves.. I left my water bottle ($30 worth not a cheap plastic bottle) on a cardio machine inside the women’s area came back after a few minutes and it was stolen.. I asked the front desk and been to lost and found room but mine was not there. 100% sure somebody stole it. And the pool area is dirty and nasty with bad smells

24 hour, all-club access, including classes, for $29.99 a month with zero contract? Say less. This is one club to have in my gym rotation. It's very much a true gym atmosphere, and very obvious that Life Time Fitness stole every concept of LVAC and charges 160% more with far less quality, I digress... David was our membership advisor and is very knowledgeable about the club as a whole, plus very detail-oriented when it came to membership options. Five stars all around.

I joined the gym to use the pool when the health department shut down the pools at clubs in Las Vegas. I was a member at a competitor. I was unaware at the time that this was done as a public safety precaution after members have have drowned and had near drowning near death experiences at the pool. LVAC was obviously negligent with respect to member safety at their pools. They failed to provide proper oversight electronically or via appropriate staff aka life guards.

Their public statements to the press only further harm them. They were given waivers from the Nevada health department for 4 years. They had 4 years to staff their pools with life guards which they failed to do.

They failed to monitor their pool’s electronically. They failed to report drownings and pool incidents to the health department as well as erased video surveillance footage of incidents..

They are now saying it would bankrupt the club to hire life guards to staff their pools and that they are a private club so the health department should not have jurisdiction over their pools.

I reached out to the sales member, David who’s signed me up last week to cancel. No response. No surprise there.

Now have to go in and haggle to cancel my membership and receive a refund after the health department has notified them to close their pools on 8/12/2024.

An accident left me with a disability so the only activity I can do at the pool is swim.

I am going back to the community pool to lap swim because LVAC does not care about the safety of its members using the pool or their facilities for that matter. Their position is they are a private gym that members use at their own risk. If using their club results in your death oh well?

They have the wrong attitude in my opinion with respect to member safety and are harming the public as a result of their negligence. People are drowning/dying on their watch and they don’t have the common sense to hire life guards. They have had 4 years to find or train current staff to provide lifeguards for their pools and they couldn’t do that.Their pools should be shut down.

On a side note, the showers in the women’s locker room were filthy the few times I have been. Just gross.

For peace of mind, swim somewhere else. LVAC doesn’t care about you or your life.
