Been a member of LVAC for some time now and I still think it’s the best in Las Vegas. You get the gym, pool and sauna, and a juice bar that had tasty options.

This facility is one of the oldest locations and it still looks great. Each location has exercise equipment no other has.

Unique equipment at this location include:
Pendulum leg machine
Wrist and forearm machine
Incline bench with uniquely angled bench
Let’s not forget the silver abdominal twist machine

Updates Review: This is my favorite LVAC in the city. It's down the street from my home and also on my way to and from work. I am usually always able to get in a good training session for myself. Nae at the front desk is always smiling, very nice and pleasant and whenever I get a smoothie at the juice bar Brandon is very nice and attentive.

The InBody machine was super accurate with my body fat, exactly what I needed. At first the report looked super confusing with so many numbers, but Emilio at the coach office broke it all down for me and explained everything in detail. Helped me see what to work on and where to focus. Really appreciated it!

What a great gym! The staff is super cool and everyone was so friendly, it was a huge plus that they helped me in Spanish. I wanted to smash an arm workout, and the coach, Emilio, gave me a brutal routine for biceps and triceps. The pump was unreal 💪. I recently switched from EOS to LVAC and signed up just a week ago. Keyana helped me through the sign-up process and gave me a great tour of the facility—she was super helpful and welcoming.

So far, I’m really enjoying this gym. Like any gym, it can get busy, but what I really appreciate is the private women’s area. It gives me a safe and comfortable space whenever I feel uneasy working out around men.

While this location is smaller than some other LVAC gyms, it's easy to navigate, always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I’m happy I made the switch!

They are a fraud, yesterday I signed up for the premier program for which you pay $ 30 USD and it includes towel service, today I went to my first training and when I finished I requested a towel to take a shower and go to the school but my big surprise was that I did not receive any towels because they did not have clean ones, they told me that I had to wait at least 20 minutes to get a miserable towel, is not this supposed to be the best club in Las Vegas? Their employees do not even understand why they offer those services, I am doing them a favor and telling them that it is for people who are busy and look to have everything in one place, not to wait for you to wash a towel, dry it and give it to me after 20 minutes. I am canceling today and if you are a person who after the gym goes to work or school, do not fall for this fraud 👎🏽👎🏽

I have been trying different lvacs but i am yet to be impressed.

The facilities were great. But my experience was marred by some low level couple who ended up making out in the pool for the entire time i was there. Las vegas is the last place to expect culture but there is something called boundaries. It was obscene. The managent includong the life guard should do something about it.

The irony is if you see my last review i was called oit for showing my butt crack while bending over. The hypocrisy is unreal.

No idea why this club hires people to stand at the front desk on their phone!! The check in girl is rude and literally would not crack a smile even after saying hello to her. Decent price. 2 year contract is better bang for your buck. Floors are not level where they should be - by benches, racks, deadlift areas and machines. Has most things you need but wouldn't hurt to have a few more modern and uniform machines(some machines aren't fully balanced for uniform usage)

On the 22nd of July, 2024, I visited the Las Vegas Athletic Club (LVAC) branch located at 5200 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV. I arrived at the gym between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and engaged in a workout session. Subsequently, I visited the Juice Bar within the facility for a refreshing shake, the experience of which left me dissatisfied. The attire of the Juice Bar staff member, Erika, appeared inappropriate for a professional setting, prompting inquiries about the establishment's employee dress code.

When I ordered my usual Get Big Shake with vanilla flavor and oat milk, I was surprised to be charged $14.01 for the shake, whereas, based on my understanding, it should have cost only $12.94 including tax. This raised concerns regarding the possibility of an unauthorized tip being added to my total, especially for customers who opt not to receive a printed receipt. I viewed this practice as misleading and unethical.

To confirm my suspicions, I visited another LVAC location the next day and ordered the same shake, which indeed cost $12.94 including tax, affirming my concerns.

I brought this matter to the attention of the club manager, Helen Chavez, who unfortunately did not effectively address the issue and responded with an uncooperative attitude despite the evidence I presented. As a dedicated LVAC member, I firmly assert that no customer should be subjected to misleading practices, particularly when making purchases at the Juice Bar. It is unacceptable to add a tip to a customer's bill without explicit knowledge or consent. I strongly urge LVAC to take decisive action to investigate and rectify this issue.

Just had the weirdest and rudest experience in customer service. I simply went in to ask for prices for membership and was instantly asked for ID, my driver's license..and other questions. I just simply wanted information on the prices for the year. The woman in pigtails, manager? was clearly not very professional. I had a bad experience where I worked out here on Friday, and then a couple days later I noticed my earbuds were gone. I can track them to here as of Saturday afternoon. What did that tell me? Well, someone had to have turned them in, since if they got swipe, they would be long gone by Saturday. So logically, if they were there more than 24 hours, somebody turned them in. They did have my name and phone number on the case, too. I went by today assuming they would be in lost and found that no one bothered to call the phone number on the case. Nope. Gone. So I'm disappointed that the staff didn't do a better job to give me a call before these got scooped up by either another patron looking through lost and found or an egregious staff member.

Has all the amenities expected of a normal gym, I originally loved going to this gym … but recently it’s grown to have a tad bit of homeless folks just sitting at the juice counter sleeping on the chairs, even sleeping in the locker room floor and occupying multiple bathroom stalls to sleep in… and to be fair
I understand homeless folks tend to shower in gyms to stay clean, that’s not the issue. The issue is when the gym starts becoming a shelter and there’s like more then 7 in the lockeroom…. Tending to lounge around and kinda make members like me and others feel uncomfortable just speaks volumes about the management. I’m going to unfortunately going to have to switch. It’s sad to see this on the west side of town.

Awesome Gym, first time there. Zumba was great and I felt comfortable in the class and able to go at my own pace.

I would have given LVAC a 5 star rating, but it seemed every hand sanitizer dispenser on the walls were empty. Except the one up front.

That's unacceptable. The gym is a breeding ground for viral and bacterial illnesses. So, they need to do better in this area. Next time, I'll bring my own.

*I noticed 3 staff upfront, so not sure how come one of them couldn't insure that they are filled often.

I like LVAC in general but this one in particular feels a little dingey. The plates on machines can use relabeling. I'm often having to count up or down just to see what lbs i'm using on a machien because they're so rubbed off or dirty over it. Lots of padding seems to be cracked from use over time. the ATC room is usually packed and weights are all over the place. I wish some one would go around and enforce weights a little more to be put back or have some structure. Overall decent, but i'm glad i'm able to subscribe with the "gympass" from my work. Maybe later on if i keep up good habits and want to invest more i'll progress from this to a nicer gym with more community.

Worst experience ever, they put me through collection two times for not paying my membership that I thought I had already canceled. I already made payments through the first collection agency and I already paid it off and now they put another collection and stating that I haven’t been making payments smh. So I called the first agency and they said that the account is closed and that I’ve been making payments and I paid in full. And here I am talking with LVAC billing representative and she said that they haven’t received any payments. Screw this place, if you ever try to get a membership from this place pls don’t. Go to EOSFITNESS! These guys are crooks and if you do try to cancel your membership go straight to the gym and expect to pay a fine to cancel your membership. And don’t sign any contract with these THIEVES.

This place believes in 35 and 2.5 lbs weight plates, all the equipment is on the same floor, and it's not busy like the ones in North Decatur and the other one near Summerlin. I love it!!

Nicer than I would've expected given the age and location. This place has rooms on rooms on rooms. Good fight lifting area - nice and open. Def a decent lvac in town.

It's 2023, why can't we manage our account online? Why do we have to go into the gym to make any changes and have to wait for someone to be available! That's the only reason they're getting a 1 star rating.
