I visited Lifetime Fitness on West Charleston expecting higher cleaning standards compared to my other gym memberships. The expectations were exceeded. The staff is constantly attending to the facilities.

The enrollment host I spoke with is named Christian, and this dude knows every single persons name that enters and exits the establishment! extremely knowledgeable, and it's obvious people frequent Lifetime Fitness looking forward to their interaction with him.

The gym is exceptionally equipped! You can leave this place ready for any occasion. Money well spent.

NOT A GYM RATING- handicap & parking assessment

I’m a member of this gym and love everything about it except the front parking lot. People will run you over and fight you to get a spot.

Handicap parking is also used by people that don’t hang a tag or, do not appear to be in need of close parking. I wish this was monitored for compliance regularly because there are people who genuinely need to use these spaces. Makes me sad that people may be taking advantage of this privilege and need 😟

Great experience having a Hydrafacial at the Spa with Kelly. Appreciated that she asked if I wanted to have each step explained or a quiet service. She was informative about the service and achieved AMAZING results. Truly one of the best treatments I’ve had.

I am a member in westlake texas and traveling. I have been a loyal member of this club since 1995 and actually a member of this club before whenni lived in Las vegas....I came this morning to do some work and get a workout in having a pretty awefule morning and I have to endure a 5 min lecture from the front desk person about how this club is $40 a month more than my home club and I am only aloud to visit so many day ect ect....one of the benefits I have always enjoyed is being able to be home away fro. Home with lifetime but instead I get a lecture instead of a calming good experience...I was apart of starting the lifetime fitness in plano Texas...I am so disappointed with the attitude I am getting anytime I visit a club outside my home club....for the amount of money we pay we should feel welcome....frustrated

I had a Dynamic Stretch session with Lance at Lifetime Fitness Las Vegas, and it was outstanding. Lance’s expertise and understanding of the human body made a huge difference—he relieved tightness I’d been struggling with, and I noticed an immediate improvement in my gym performance that day. His skill and professionalism truly set him apart, and he’s a valuable asset to the gym. Highly recommend booking with him if you want to move and feel better!

Been with this gym for 5+ years. At first, it was amazing. Over the years, the management has let this gym slide into a free for all. The handicap spots are taken every single day by exotic cars with no placards, and even the parking deck almost impossible to find a spot.

The gym itself is now overcrowded and dirty with no team members picking up stray wipes and trash on the floor. Machines are often unavailable because of people queueing waiting to jump on machine.

The staff can't be bothered to answer phones or return calls. They will give you attitude at the first sign of inconvenience.

Trainers are not up to standards and not qualified. Most of the people doing training seem to just be people that are paying for the company during their workout. They mostly chat and share IG stories instead of training from the clients I've seen. It also causes the machines to get backed up with so many people looking at their phones or recording themselves rather than working out.

They have a free tier of classes, but lock most all decent classes behind a paywall.

They used to have an area where the sales people sat, which they have now turned into a lounge.. only to find out I couldn't use it unless I dished out an additional $500 a month.

Locker rooms are disgusting, overused, and unsanitary.

This place is the epitome of corporate stupidity driving a brand into the ground. Just have a look at ANY of the recent reviews and you'll see they're almost all one star.

For 300+ a month, you'd be better off saving that 300 and doing literally anything else.

To top it off, this is the ONLY establishment in Vegas I've ever been to that openly charges extra fees for using a credit card. (Why anybody would risk using a debit card is beyond me)

I went here on a visitor pass and I was pretty impressed with the size and overall quality of this gym. It seemed cleaner than other gyms and had everything you can imagine for a gym. The price, I find to be a major turn off-- although I think their price is purposefully made as a type of hyper-filtration from less desirable individuals... or it's like a poor-man's country club lol. Their swimming complex and other activity related complex's were massive compared to anyone else in town and the machines were some of best quality machine brands.

They also had a unique body fat analyser which uses electrical currents to measure, although I think the real science is iffy on those actual results but good for an idea of where you're at.

I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recurring issue regarding your outdoor pool operations.

On a recent visit around 7:00 PM, we were forced to leave the pool due to what staff claimed were “windy” conditions. However, the weather was perfectly pleasant—mild breeze, clear skies, and safe swimming conditions. This is not an isolated incident. It has happened multiple times, often conveniently close to the evening shift change.

Frankly, this excuse of “wind” appears exaggerated and arbitrary. If these mild conditions qualify as unsafe, then Las Vegas would effectively never have outdoor swimming, which clearly isn’t reasonable.

We specifically visit Life Time Summerlin for the outdoor pool experience—fresh air, open sky, and relaxation. We fully accept responsibility for our own safety under normal conditions. Instead, we’re repeatedly inconvenienced and left feeling that the closures are driven more by staff fatigue than genuine safety.

As paying members investing significantly each month, we expect more consistent, transparent, and guest-focused service. If this is how operations are managed—closing the outdoor pool prematurely without valid reason—then the service quality needs serious improvement.

I have done a few workouts with Vanessa, one of Lifetimes DPT’s, with the goal of growing my glutes, and WOW! Not only does Vanessa provide a coaching experience that gets me excited to go to the gym, but she also makes me feel so comfortable in telling her how I feel about every movement she prescribes. She’s taught me that an exercise can look right, but a coach will never know if we the client are feeling it correctly if we do not communicate, which I have done. She’s the first trainer I’ve ever had that’s helped me access my lower glutes, all by proving thought out workouts, helping me cue the very best form for my body structure, and the best part? Making it challenging enough where I still get a great push and have fun! I’ve already seen so much glute growth, something I’ve been insecure about for years. Another huge win is that while helping me build muscle in my legs, she’s also helped me lose a noticeable amount of body fat which I have been trying to burn off for years on my own. Everything that propel “recommended” never worked, but Vanessa actually provided a weight loss plan that’s working and has me eating enough! This girl had fire recipes for days! Thank you Vanessa!!!

If you’re looking for a personal trainer who genuinely cares about her clients and is guaranteed to give you a great experience, definitely book a workout with DPT Vanessa!

Emailed many many times with inquiries and NEVER got response. Even left a message on the phone. In spam box? Sure they should always check to not miss any inquiries from clients. No way to join such irresponsible unorganized facility. And I heard they keep increasing price over and over and limiting usage of pickleball courts.

I will never visit this particular club, as a former member from another club I came in to buy a drink however the front desk women acted as if we were going to STEAL something. They wouldn't allow us to buy a drink from the cafe. It's so unfortunate how we were treated because we truly love lifetime fitness. The older woman looked and acted so RACIST. This Lifetime Fitness location does not meet the expectations for the clientele it seeks to serve.

The lighting is inadequate, with harsh overhead fluorescent lights that create an uncomfortable environment and make the space feel more like a display than a welcoming fitness center.

Parking is also a significant issue. It often takes 20 minutes to find a decent spot, and it is disappointing to see exotic cars occupying the handicapped spaces, especially when they are reserved for individuals with needs. As someone who also owns exotic cars, I find this behavior in poor taste. These people are in the gym and clearly not in need of the spaces.

The cleanliness of the facility is lacking, with bathrooms and gym areas in need of better upkeep. Most weight rooms have an age requirement. There’s also a large amount of underage kids allowed to workout in the weight room.

In conclusion, this location fails to deliver on the high standards expected by its target audience. It would greatly benefit from improvements in both staff management and the overall facility experience.

The gym is great, but why $300+ a month and no 24/7 access? No justification for increased prices either. And the comments about it being a toxic male spot is true. Ego reaks at this place!! And then if you want access to the lounge or anything else it’s an additional charge on top of your $300 a month membership. Nah I’m good. I’ll take my money somewhere else.

I was a member in total for almost 5 years with lifetime. Absolutely without a doubt it was a phenomenal environment for working out or even just relaxing. Earlier this year I had to do some traveling for work so I paused my account for around 4 months being charged around $15 a month. When I came back my new monthly cost for the gym was almost $330 a month. I was in shock due to the fact I had been paying $170 for years and just because I took a brief period off I was being charged almost double. Really did hurt having to cancel my membership with lifetime because I really did enjoy the gym but if I have been a member for years why did I get thrown to the dirt.

My one star review is because of the salon. I paid $500 for a Keratin treatment before my wedding, and it did not straighten my hair at all. Even after I sent the stylist photos of the results she refused to redo it. Fast forward 6 months and I bought a $40 keratin kit on Amazon that has had perfect results for months. I paid top dollar to get the best treatment and received the worst.

Lifetime Summerlin has been a huge disappointment. Despite already charging a premium, they continue to nickel and dime members by adding ridiculous costs for basic amenities like lounge access and fitness classes.

The final straw for me, however, was the dismissive and unprofessional behavior of one employee, Lisa. When I inquired about why regular members can’t play pickleball during the day, I discovered there was absolutely no communication about this change—no signs, no notifications, not even a note on their app. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, Lisa’s attitude was arrogant, making it clear she thought this gym was only for those willing to shell out extra cash.

Lifetime seems more focused on squeezing as much money as possible from its members while providing less and less in return.

I've only been a member of Lifetime for a few weeks but I really love it here. It's huge, the vibe is good, I love the group classes, the machines are great, and I love the sauna and steam room. I do have some complaints: while I love the covered parking in hot LV summertime, you do have to walk a long ways to get to the front. I wish they had an entrance by the parking garage. It does get very packed here, even during odd hours on a weekday (does anyone have a job here in LV?). It's expensive, but compared with other gyms in the area that are 1/10th the price, you get what you pay for. I'll update my review down the road if my sentiment changes, but I think a lot of the nasty reviews here are uncalled for.

I used to love going to this gym...until they let a handful of bad players, ruin it for the rest of us. They allow people to bring giant bags into workout areas, save machines, bully other members, leave trash everywhere, let people exercise in the sauna (gross), and take photos in the freaking locker room! It's really a shame, such a beautiful facility has become such a bad experience. The manager claims to be so invested in the customer experience, yet we have NEVER seen him on the gym floor. How are you going to know what is going on at your gym, if you never go INTO the gym? They lost my and my husband's business, and several customers have reached out to us, because they're sick of it all, too.

Also, who's the genius who put a sewer main, next to the outdoor section of the cafe? DISGUSTING!

The facilities here are nice and well-maintained and there are some employees who are really great and a pleasure to see every day. That being said the management here is dismal. Feels like there’s a new general manager every few months, but you rarely ever see them on the floor of the gym. And it would be nice for them to actually be on the floor because what they would find out is especially in the morning they have a lot of toxic men who think they own the gym and they think circuit training means that they can save as many machines as they want and no one else can use them while they’re using them. And if those same men are held accountable by a fellow member or called out on their behavior, they respond like thr childish little insecure babies that they are. One member named Ron isn’t even a member. He gets a free membership because his wife works there yet his behavior is one of someone who thinks he literally owns the gym and every machine is there for him and if you’re lucky, he’ll let you use another machine. Management knows about this. They’ve been told time and time again, and they do nothing because let’s face it - this gym is on a waitlist so they’re more than happy to have someone cancel their membership so that they can replace them with someone else who will obviously pay a higher monthly rate. so if toxic masculinity, 1776 shirts and selfish insecure men is your jam, this is the gym for you. Otherwise, I advise you look elsewhere, you’ll save a lot of money and have a better peace of mind.

Honestly, it’s disappointing. This place has gotten way out of control. There are WAY too many people at all times of the day. Waiting for machines constantly, broken equipment constantly and the membership has gotten out of control. We started paying $160 just a couple years ago and it’s up to $300 a person. Other lifetimes are still only charging the $160. Seems greedy, along with the fact they should only allow so many people to join. This place use to be amazing, clean, and worth the price. Now, it’s over priced, over crowded and over rated. Hoping they make some necessary changes soon.

We liked the selection of equipment , classes and the large size of the facility.

-overcrowded (wait in line to use equipment)
-place feels very dated
-staff isn't very accommodating (your paying Ritz pricing for motel service)
-need to be better at keep up on fixing broken things like equipment, speakers, AC, general finishes
-kids section has the hand/foot/mouth virus often, both my kids got it (they need to find a better solution)... baby had 102 fever, toddler had 105 fever off and on for days. Once we were all better we went back... week before our last date and one of our friends just text us her son got the Hand Foot Mouth (super annoyed because I'd like to use gym i paid for ... but can't go back since kids will just get sick again)
-pool area is usually not open for kids till 10 AM... during the summer sucks because it gets SO HOT!
-the baby area gets booked up constantly so u have to be super on it to get times you'd like
-you get charged extra for cabanas during the summer months (we already have a membership fee why the extra charge???)
-membership has gone up every year. Two years ago we started at $160 now it's up to $300 for one person, $75 per kid
-parking is packed a lot
-the elevator in parking lot was out for a while and having two kids it wasn't great walking the parking lot all the way down and up

We moved from OC, were Equinox members at all 3 locations there and were looking for a similar lifestyle gym, Lifetime did not meet that.

They have been charging me a higher price other members. Two years ago they increased my membership fees from $180 to $260 for no discernible reason while continuing to charge others $180. Rep told me they are increasing everyone's membership this year to $249(which I don't believe)but it was odd because some how that is still less than what I have been paying for 2 years.

When I asked what they were going to do to remedy the situation they told me they would lower my membership from the $260 to $249. Well, it was a good thing I was sitting because I nearly fell out of my chair. I immediately phoned my wife and told her to break out the red panties because we're gona be eatin good from now on.

Seriously, don't rip off your customers then insult them. This place is incredibly crowded and they don't do honest business. The rep also told me that If I cancel and come back that I would have to pay $299/month. Always great to wrap up a conversation with your customers by threatening to increase their fees. If any of the people that work for me behaved this way I would fire them immediately.

The Good: Great classes and instruction for all disciplines- yoga, boot camp, indoor cycling, etc.
Depth and breadth of state of the art equipment. I have to provide a kudos to management for
thinking outside the box & purchasing powerplate vibration trainers, Normatech recovery boots, personal message machines. Nice touch to have 8-10 Olympic Power Racks. Saturday and Sunday mornings have pretty high level hoopers. The pickleball players were so damn good I decided to not go all in to pick up the sport. Nice pool deck with some nice scenery.
The Bad: The music is turned up waaaay too loud for the boot camp style class that is taught on the main floor with the majority of fitness equipment. So loud that it is drowning out the music on my noise cancellation earbuds.
For an “Athletic Club”, the majority of members are pretty unsociable. Not as much friendly banter in the social areas as what I would have expected from a club in this class. Hell maybe it’s the 2024 Vegas culture.
The Ugly: Corporate plays lots of games with obnoxious hidden charges. For example, my wife and were locked in to a rate around $225-$250 a month. We added our Daughter to our membership (as she was home from college for 2 months) and were forced to bump up a membership tier to a much more exclusive membership and our dues went up $85 for classes that we never take. I have been a member of 1 health club or another around our fine Country since ‘96. I have even worked in the business myself for 6 years. Of course Lifetime was the first club to adopt this unfair policy.

To summarize: incredibly nice facility, with some annoying traits, and a multitude of hidden charges.

The staff was welcoming, professional and I saw active cleaning happening. I legit was in heaven and the large windows with gorgeous views of Vegas were icing on the cake. The process to bring guests was seamless and I remember thinking, “I could live here”. I didn’t want to leave. I hope to come back again and I would definitely recommend others to come as well. I have been here for around 2 years working out by myself and never working out with anyone. I am a trainer but have no need for this gym to train my clients and never use it for client workouts, it is overpriced anyway. I have a limited membership through Medicare. I had a friend visiting me from another country to come in once because that is all is allowed every 60 days. I was helping her during a workout and a trainer complained that i was not allowed to help my guest. The trainer that complained is a very poor trainer and that is not my fault. She was training next to me and maybe her client asked her why she was not correcting her. This gym has limited hours for the memberships on medicare. They want to charge retired people 150.00 a month for full access. For the regular membership of 300.00 per month you have to wait in line for limited equipment. EOS has more for 20.00 per month. I am insulted by their approaching me and telling me I cannot help my friend. This is pathetic insecurity on a trainer and clubs actions. I have had other members ask for advice here and one member told me they wasted 3,000.00 on training with no results or satisfaction. I am going to dump this gym for lack of equipment. overpricing and poor customer service along with disrespecting guests over a trainer who has no knowledge of personal training. I attached a video of a customer that trains a man daily and no one says a word. I just spoke with a doctor who is a specialist and these people told him he cannot help his wife during their workout. I will have to tell you if you pay for any of their trainers you are getting robbed

I had the worst most unprofessional experience after three years of service at the lifetime spa inside of lifetime fitness on Green Valley Ranch with Emily. After promising the world that she would be able to take me from dark brown, too bright copper red and insisting on the new extensions, being much higher quality I was very disappointed when she after three sessions of full foils and trying to get the color match, correct me having to come in for a fix the color match was still not right and the extensions were much lower quality than my current extensions and we’re constantly tangling and unwearable the salon and Emily refused to get me in any sooner and I had to wear their hair for two months until my next appointment when I finally came in for my Mark appointment and expressed my concerns very politely, and professionally, Emily said that she is the professional and I’m not gonna tell her how to do my hair and then she refuses to do my hair moving forward. She left me high and dry at my eight week appointment the day before I left town I had to find a new stylist and pay somebody else to get the extensions taken out and do something with my hair in the meantime, I filed a formal complaint and was ignored, and after reaching out multiple times was told that services are rendered. This is absolute unprofessional on so many levels not to mention the way I was treated at the salon. Never go to lifetime fitness Life spa, or Emily in Green Valley Ranch.

Used to be great and would've rated 5 stars. Now after 2 years, it falls way short. Men's locker rom often smells TERRIBLE. Mix of BO, bleach, and more. Cleanliness standards no longer their concern - not clean. Look on machines and you'll see all kinds of dirt, wads of hair, etc. It's gotten SO overly busy. Not enough machines anymore to combat how busy it is. Shouldn't have to wait for things in a gym this size or expensive. Odd clients doing all kinds of weird activity now on gym floor...

The business leads to an annoying lack of parking. They only let you enter the front door so after you finally find parking you have to walk all the way around the building on both front and back end of workout. So many children running around now. And perhaps one of the most annoying things is the majority of common spaces are so full of people doing god knows what, and you often cant use them as they "block them off" for classes. And blare the music for their classes going on on the open gym floor - that' what classrooms are for.

Used to be a very proud member and rave about this gym, and most unfortunately it has gone so far downhill...especially for almost $300/month. Insane. Put in my request to cancel now.

Did not realize that the club closes at midnight, I pay several hundreds of dollars a month for the club NOT to be 24/7?!?!?! My family and I will be canceling immediately, not even LVAC does this to their customers, and they cost 1/5 the price. Hope saving 4 hours of paying your minimum wage workers was worth the amount of customers lost!

1) There is always something broken or someone sitting at an exercise machine on their cell phone.

2) The gym has limited hours for senior members. They want to up-charge retirees for full access. The cost for a regular member is around $300 - a lot to pay for the opportunity to watch people sending text messages while sitting on an exercise machine.

3) The club is all about selling....The Glengarry Glen Ross of health clubs.

4) Club management is constantly monitoring activities such as the pickleball courts in order extract more fees from members for usage. You would think this company makes money but it is a loser.

5) The locker rooms are in need of repairs. By the way if someone wants a locker they can also pay another $50 - $100 per month!

My husband and I joined because we heard they have pickleball…. It’s so crowded we have to wait 45+ minutes for a court… The Trainer Lauren is wonderful- I highly recommend her. If you have any issues with the club itself, don’t ask Buck- extremely rude, uncaring, and does not follow thru. My interaction with his rudeness actually made me decide to quit the club altogether. I asked him when my club membership would end and he told me 30 days… so I followed up after 31 days and guess what… he didn’t cancel the membership. So I left a message and a voicemail… he doesn’t return the call. I called the main customer service # at 2:06pm and they’re closed for the day (eastern time). Employees like Buck are a sad representation of the business and actually drives away business from good customers.

So overall Great trainers, decent club, pickleball is way over crowded, and Buck in customer relations is horrible. Don’t expect top notch customer service from a club that you’ll pay $356/month for.

Unfortunately, my experience at Lifetime Fitness has been marred by a persistent and highly unpleasant issue. Despite its numerous amenities, including a newly constructed lounge area, the gym has consistently neglected a critical aspect of its facility: the entrance area. The smell outside the gym's entrance is not just mildly off-putting; it is downright disgusting. This has been a recurring problem, and despite multiple complaints and feedback from various members, the management seems to be inattentive to this issue. It's baffling to see the gym invest in luxurious indoor facilities like a lounge while blatantly ignoring such a fundamental hygiene problem at its very doorstep. This disregard for what should be a basic standard of cleanliness significantly detracts from the overall experience and makes it hard to recommend Lifetime Fitness to others.

Lazy gym. They no longer have back entrance open. More than half the time I go to weight myself they have no ink in the printer so I then have to find a staff member and wait 10 minutes to see my weight. And they upped the prices so it doesn’t even make sense for me to end my membership with my family plan.

Club is simply way too expensive $200 a month for a gym membership is out of control now I understand charging a premium or something that is for an upgrade but when the cost is a multiplier of 5x, 10x, even 20x times the cost of low-level Gyms that is just pure corporate greed. The only way the will stop this is if people STOP paying it and cancel. Seriously. Why not try something else for 3 months and see what you think.

Probably some of the most frustrating and worst customer service Iv truly ever experienced, almost comical. I know unfortunately there are very few options for upper scale gyms in LV but strongly reconsider before becoming a member here. Really not worth the price and wish there was some course of action when they do the things they do.
While they shut down sections of the gym for construction, mind, you no fancy upgrades or anything significant we’re talking mandatory maintenance like new lockers that are 10 years old, etc.. they shut down the men’s locker room for 10 days and didn’t even clean the floors before opening.
I received an email during this time expecting maybe some kind of apology or even a small discount for the inconvenience but rather the email was a notification of a 25% increase in my dues. That’s correct, 25%.
When asked about it, they simply say that new members pay more and if you don’t like it, you can cancel (in so many words.) I was given less than 30 days notice of the increase, and when asked for the increase to not take affect until at least the new year it was met with a NO. It’s pretty clear that they want older members to leave so they can make room for new members, paying more money. Pretty disgusting when already paying around $200 a month.

thought I had joined the “best gym” in Vegas but I was wrong COVID was over 2 years ago they can go back to being 24hrs now it’s super expensive yet they can pay one employee a little longer for it to go back to 24hrs? And the cafe now closing at 8? This is very inconvenient for us business professionals especially who go in the afternoon/night! Maybe they should cut the budget and stop throwing events every month so they can actually budget to hire an additional staff member to stay open those 3to 4 hrs the gym is closed it’s absolutely ridiculous even when I do go earlier the gym is extremely packed it’s absurd. also for how expensive you guys are you should invest in getting nicer softer towels

When I first joined 11 years ago, I paid $120 a month which was a little bit more than I had budgeted, but I figured it was three or four times as good as 24 hour fitness or LVAC.

Now the price is $260 for one person. The facilities certainly haven't improved, in fact, more things are reserved for additional, not included classes often at peak times.

Furthermore there's something wrong with the shower system, I think they didn't install the one-way gas valves properly so the men's locker room smells like a sewer, I think they didn't install the one-way gas valves properly so the men's locker room smells like a sewer.

I recently switched from another gym. I had an all club membership and not one location was as good as Lifetime. It is the cleanest out of all the gyms I have tried. I am not saying it's perfect. I don't think that is possible with all the guests that go in and out. I am impressed by how often they clean the showers and spa which I never saw at the other gyms. This is my third gym since I moved here and is the best. They have all the supplies you need from towels to razors even.
I can't say enough about the front desk. Robert, Yolanda, Richard and Bri to name a few. No matter what time they are ready to check you in with a small and a good morning, You would never know if they were having a bad day and they always seem happy to be working there and always professional. As a teacher and employee of many yoga studios I know how important it is to greet the students and how it makes them feel. Robert also signed me up and answered all my questions and explained everything about the app etc.
When you first join you meet with a fitness consultant to direct you to what you need to meet your goals I met with Anthony (Tony) and he recommended the right trainer for me to talk to. Although I am not working with a trainer now I highly recommend Kurtis. He not only will show you machines and equipment and the workouts are best for you, but he knows about nutrition which for me as a vegan he said I need more protein for one. It was a good wake up call for me.
I can't compare much to classes at other gyms, because I have not taken a class at any of them in years, but I must say I am taking advantage of all the classes here. Mary, Rebekah,Nicola, Janet, Ali, and Tiffany are all my favorites I have had so far. I totally love them and can't wait to go to their classes.I do suggest you sign up early on some as they can fill up. They have a huge variety of classes more than other gyms I know for sure.
I am a Hot yoga and pilates teacher and I love the heat. If you are looking for really hot classes you won't find them here, however they do have some heated ones. I am hoping they add more especially hot Barre and Pilates. Also with the AC on and you may feel it blowing on you certain spots in the huge room, but a shirt over my gym clothes helps. The teachers will make you forget about the temperature once class starts anyway. They can be very entertaining and class will fly by. The rooms are large and have plenty of equipment. I also like they have plenty of cleaner for cleaning mats and equipment before class. There is also hand sanitizer everywhere which I like since I don't know if covid going away anytime soon.
I have to mention the cleaning staff works hard to keep towels stocked and keep areas safe and clean. There is a nice cafe and I have yet to check their supplements. I will add to this review when I do.
The management has a open door policy and you can go to them anytime as well as again the friendly front desk staff. I forgot the GM's name I think it's Jim but he is tall and in the back office. He is good to talk to and a good listener. They are all ready to help. So far I am happy I switched here. There is a lot I have not mentioned here like pickle ball, the pools, rock climbing, cycling, kickboxing, TRX and more. Before signing up you get a tour and can see all 3 spacious floors of fun. Do not pay attention to the negative comments and come see for yourself.

When I initially joined Life Time during COVID, it was a great place to work out. They have a great facility and lots of different work out options. Since that time, however, they have continued to raise dues on loyal members as well as nickle and dime members for gym amenities (requiring additional dues for access to the outdoor pool for one). They have also added so many classes which are a steep additional cost to your already expensive membership and occupy much of the gym. The result is that many areas are closed or significantly restricted during much of the day, preventing use. They have also continued to add too many members so the gym is continually packed and it's hard to find open machines or spaces. When you are paying over $300/month for a basic membership, I wouldn't expect these problems. It's pretty clear that the management wants to maximize revenue and couldn't care less about the experience at the gym which is why I would never recommend this gym to anyone, and after being a member for almost 3 years, am leaving for another gym.

I wanted to love this gym, it's beautiful, close to my home, technically it has EVERYTHING you could want from a gym, right? BUT- it's way too crowded, at all hours, members literally camp out on the machines and benches while texting for 15 minutes between sets. A few wanna be muscle heads who don't understand gym etiquette drop the weights and no employees seem to want to tell them that its not OK to do in a public gym. The free weight area has so few benches that I always have to stand around a wait for one to free up, minimum 15-20 minutes every time. For a gym this size and THIS EXPENSIVE, the free weight area should have many more benches and seats and should be larger. Serious gym goers use this area more than any other area. I feel like this gym caters to the classes only, so many areas are off limits unless you're in a class or personal training, the whole gym is just so confusing. Plus, and this was the big clincher for me, its like a day care center, sure, probably great for young families, but not me, I just want to go to a beautiful gym and have a great workout. Had to cancel my membership, and I'm sad about it but for that much money I just wasn't using it enough, had to try to plan around all the busy times, which was almost always, so I wasn't using it as much as I should have been. If you are a classes person its a good gym, if you are a seasoned gym person who knows their workout and just wants to go in and get it done - not the place for you, you'll be as frustrated as I was.

Update: I'm new to this gym. I didn't read the reviews in advance I just assumed the amenities were as top notch as advertise. Having come from equinox in LA that's what I expected coming here. An exclusive membership with good customer service and clean amenities.

Edit: good news!I have had nothing but pleasant encounters with the staff since writing this. Also the steam room was improved last time I checked. The steam room smell can still use room for improvement but overall it's improved. personal trainer Doug is also awesome. Super friendly, knowledgable, and inspirational.

(This is no longer true)Unfortunately some of the bad reviews are true. It's less clean than it should be in the steam room* in the mens locker room. It has a TERRIBLE smell. Also the staff can be quite unfriendly for no reason.

It's a very nice gym with a lot of great machines and awesome amenities, overall very friendly staff except the pool staff. But I think that may be more of an issue of overbearing rules regarding kids.

Ultimately I gave 5 stars because there are many redeeming things about the gym. I think its worth the price. However the rules around kids in the pool and jacuzzi are really really lame.

When I first signed up for Lifetime I would have given it a five but every year they raised the rates so I started at $105 I believe and I'm up to $200 a month, for a single membership, and in this area where other gyms are $25 a month with most of the same services, it is starting to become hard to justify the expense -- especially because they're no longer 24 hours which I understood during the pandemic -- but we are now past the pandemic and I am paying for a gym in the 24-hour town that no longer has 24 hour service and doesn't look like they're going to add it back.

(And the time that I need to work out is usually late night between 11:00 and 2 a.m.) .

I find that the biggest thing though is the rate increases. This isn't a town of millionaires. We cannot sustain to continue to pay this kind of money for our facility given they don't offer that much more than any other facility does.

So I'll be reconsidering my membership this year.

I have been a lifetime member for over a year and I can say I am generally pleased, however, for the past month and a half the men’s locker room ,specifically the steam room ,has not had eucalyptus and I have not seen it cleaned. To this day I walk into the steam room and it smells like sitting sweat pools and the stagnant water. The steam still goes off but it is very unpleasant to be in there with a smell like that. Also because it is wet heat that is very dangerous for respiratory diseases to form. When I asked a staff member what they were going to do about it three weeks ago, they had no idea and I’m guessing that’s because leader ship has no idea either on what to do. I pay over 400 a month with all the programs I have included along with my child and it is starting to seem like more of a hassle than it is a help. I do not understand how a facility that promotes itself to be better than other facilities, cannot simply keep cleanliness and upkeep their promised amenities functioning properly. Again I generally would recommend this club to people, but as of this moment I am questioning my own membership because this is simply ridiculous. Unfortunately cameras are not allowed in the locker rooms so I can’t add photos for proof and photos do not give the sense of the overwhelming smell that comes from the steam room which is not operating properly which has not even been given a second thought into how to be fixed. Very sad very annoying. I am not a disgruntled member, I am not a person throwing shade On an otherwise wonderful place. I am just someone who thought paying for the exclusivity of a club atmosphere would come with everything that was promised. Sadly they have fallen short, and even sadder, The staff seems on moved to do anything. Purchase a membership at your own risk.

Ridiculously overpriced.
Go to lvac, literally a tenth of the price and really nice equipment, pool, sauna, running track and most importantly you won't get ripped off...!!!

I am new and yesterday was my first day.

I took an 8am yoga class with literally THE BEST yoga instructor, Janet, I’ve ever had. (I’ve been practicing yoga 19 years now) What enhanced the experience even more for me was Janet was training a new yoga instructor, Lisa and she was AWESOME to. I was struck by both of their kindness, dedication and knowledge to their crafts.

The yoga studio, itself, was stunningly beautiful and in perfect settings.

Before I post a review I try to read the other reviews so that I don’t sound repetitive when I write one. I was struck by people complaining about price? Look, I love LVAC and won’t denigrate them but if you are trying to compare LVAC to Lifetime, truly, you aren’t even comparing apples to oranges because at least those are both fruit. If you are trying to compare LVAC to Lifetime you’d be comparing jolly rancher’s candies (not bad candy) to a perfectly cooked steak dinner, with succulent mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed and seasoned broccoli. I mean they both are gyms, I guess, like both those examples are food. Bottom line: you get what you pay for.

Yoga, Alpha training, lots of equipment, perfect Pilates, basketball courts, pickle ball courts, swimming pools, outdoor swimming pools and even with all!? I just listed, it’s my first day, I’m sure I missed some stuff. I find the value to be immense and think, even with the price, I’m getting a deal.

After all, Janet, Lisa, Yolie (customer service rep that signed me up) are the highest quality individuals I’ve been around in a gym setting, they make the place invaluable.

It was my first day at Lifetime yesterday but I hope I will spend the rest of my life in their quality.

I wholeheartedly love this gym! Member for 7 months and the staff have been extremely helpful, the locker rooms are always clean, the 3rd floor CrossFit room is one of the best in town. I've had several friends join with me and have met some awesome people here. I do have to put this account services rep Christine on blast though. Her attitude when I asked a simple question was one of the oddest and most unpleasant. My friend and I looked at each other like what is her problem. I run 3 companies in town and we focus highly on customer service. Her customer service is lacking. Further training on enhancing the guest experience may be required. Being rude and quick to judge a person regarding a question is uncalled for. All other interactions with staff have been excellent and kind. Other than this instance, this gym is perfect.
