This location more west of the strip and right off the 215 freeway. I took a beg dance class here. The average student here usually trains out here. There's more choreography to learn than fundamentals that's being taught. Not a bad thing at all. We did have a guest teacher come in so this may not be the norm. I'm just reviewing from what I witness today. Overall had a blast.

Plenty and plenty of parking. This name is pretty known around the dancing community. Drop classes usually start at $20 but there are deals online. Take a class and have fun!

Teachers start late, once they feel the mood. I’m always on time, except once. I’ve seen the teacher have entire class wait over 15minutes for one late registered student. I’ve seen them start late just because. I figured if I ran late once I would be able to go. Got there exactly 10minutes late. Girl at front says I’m too late for their 10minute late policy. That’s disappointing. No mercy. But as a paying student you must show patience for late running classes. Was hoping I’d be given the same grace myself…The same other students and myself have given the studio and teacher. Nope. Dance classes are ok. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible. Studio clean. Only two bathrooms in main area. No changing area. Long lines for that. Undecided if I will return. But it’s not a priority. Had better outcomes with other studios

I can't say enough amazing things about this place!

I have been an avid dancer ever since I was 5. I have done it all! I was on dance teams, dance studios, did some professional work, etc. As I got older, I couldn't find time to dance as much as I wanted to. Life got in the way! I focused on my career, got married, had kids, rescued a dog. All of that! But I digress. :)

I moved to Las Vegas from LA and I have always been one to find any and all dance classes! I've been to other studios in the valley and I also took dance classes at 24 hour fitness, LVAC, lifetime, etc.

Enter Millennium Dance Complex, Las Vegas in 2017. You bet I was one of the first students to sign up for class! I was foaming at the mouth and excited to take class at MILLENIUM DANCE yet again! When I was in my prime, I remember taking multiple classes in LA at MILLENIUM so it was full circle for me! My very first class with beg/int hip hop with Maciel!! I will never forget my experience! I was super nervous and intimidated. Once the music hit, it was like riding a bike! I knew I was home...I knew that this was the place I was going to dance and better myself.

Fast forward to now 2024, I'm taking 5-7 classes each week! I'm training with the best instructors and meeting the best people in class!! I'm the happiest I have ever been in a long time and taking class has improved my mental health. I get to audition for multiple performance opportunities for their showcase, basketball games, and community events.

Chelsea and Janice were amazing and welcomed me with open arms. They are so friendly and so down to earth that you wouldn't even have guessed that they owned the studio!

The work studies are amazing as well! They are all super friendly and keep the studio so organized, clean, and welcoming! They make the environment so fun and I always have a great time chatting it up with all of them!

When I think of businesses now, I reflect back on how they handled 2020 and the pandemic. Chelsea and Janice always had our safety and health as a top priority! She made sure we did temperature checks, we wore masks, we were spaced out in the studio, and cleaned the studios with utmost care!

Also, the instructors! WOW! I don't even know where to start with this amazing group of people! I'm inspired every time I take their classes and I'm so addicted to the energy in the room and on the dance floor! Some of my fave instructors: Mike P, Maciel, CJ, Jayd'n, Ramon Angel, Shawnta, Kim H, Mel, Robbii, Johnny, Liz, Kalani, and Darrell.

As a new resident to Las Vegas-I was very scared to walk into MDCLV for the very first time. Now, it is my favorite place to go. I love attending classes at Millennium. You can feel the great energy and community in there. I've been taking classes for almost 6 months. The instructors are amazing and very professional. Liezel classes are such a VIBE! I love her! Miki is also awesome! She's the sweetest person ever and a great dancer! Jaimy and Teya help me a lot with my jazz technique. Took a beginners heels class with miki she was very uninviting first off She Didn’t ask if anyone was new. Didn’t use or give cues or counts the entire class. . Eveyone in class already knew the choreography and she divided the class into two groups and had us watch while the groups performed the dance (this is not what I paid for a dance class for? to watch the class perform for at least 15 minutes ) it was very awkward for me because I didn’t know the choreography it was my very first class and she didn’t assign me to a group or even speak to me, so i just stood there awkwardly. so after class I asked her how many times/ weeks does she teach the same choreography? She says two times. This week and next week. Which doesn’t make sense to me because if you only teach it twice how did everyone else already know it if next week is the second time then yesterday would have been the first time teaching but everyone already knew the choreography. It was so weird I’ve never taken a dance class where the instructor acts like she’s the star of the show and doesn’t teach or count. I take belly dance class every week for years and I take a simple dance class at the gym where the instructor actually teaches the classes choreography counting and cues . I thought an actual dance studio would have actual instruction . I definitely wasted my money on that class and went attend Miki class again. I will try another class and see how it goes cuz i got a 3 class pass gor christmas

My first class here was Beg/Int Hip-Hop with Liezel Marie and it was SO MUCH FUN! Liz was super inviting to all the first-timers like me, she had all of us high-five our neighbors every now and then which was a nice ice-breaker and definitely pumped up the atmosphere of the room, and the choreography was great! I highly recommend taking a dance class here 😁 There's a ton of styles to choose from - hip hop, contemporary, jazz, burlesque, latin fusion and commercial choreography to name a few and they currently have a new student discount going on of 3 classes for $30 till 8/31 💃

Great place to go have fun while expanding your dance knowledge.. I just took the intro to hip hop class which was taught by a substitute teacher Nicolette Pantaleo. She was very enthusiastic and encouraging to her students and broke things down when asked. Great teacher and great choreography. Definitely will continue to learn here and it feels like a great place to meet like minded people who love to dance.

My daughter & I took the Intro to Hip Hop class with Kalani today! It’s been years since either of us took a Hip Hop Class. He was Fun and engaging. He broke down the steps and drilled us then split the class in half to do it so we had more room and some rest breaks. We will definitely be back. First time we’ve been here since you transformed it from the previous dance center. Love what you did with the place!

I took a heels class here, with Miki and I felt very uncomfortable with her method of instruction. I was absolutely awful,  which is why I stayed in back to avoid distracting the class.

I would have appreciated a space that would allow me to grow and make mistakes. Instead, she made comments like, "I know a real dancer when I see one." and "Oh, the heels are the reason that you aren't keeping up?" Her attitude/ disposition seemed so catty and mean-spirited. I will not attend the complex again.

It had been 28 years since I had taken a class, I choose one that said beginning but it felt far more advanced than that. I felt waaaay behind I couldn't keep up with the class at all. The instructor was a fantastic dancer and there were a few dancers in the class that were really good but from what I saw others struggled with the speed too. I would love to take another class but it would be nice to know which classes were actually beginner classes for those a little rusty in with the dance moves like me. It was a fun class but it was a lot harder than I anticipated. The schedule shows other beginner classes but I don't know if they really are.
The studio is nice and the people there are nice I just felt a little out of place. So if you are expecting beginner classes, I don't know that their definition of beginner will be the same as yours it wasn't for me. I would definitely recommend the studio for people that have danced a lot throughout the years and continue to dance but not sure if it's great for beginners. Perhaps the kids classes are different LOL

We came all the way from Israel with 2 girls 11 and 13 for drop-in hip hop classes (beginners & advanced). The child friendliest place we encountered in Las Vegas. Friendly staff. Girls were smoothly integrated in the classes. Full hour class for 20 $. Girls were happy. At the end of the class they open the doors. Don't forget to take a video of the dance. I did.
