As a first-time mom, I’m very mindful about how I want to raise my daughter—everything from nutrition and safety to the values we surround our family with. Walking into MyGym, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can honestly say I’ve felt nothing but welcomed and supported.

We had such a great class this past Wednesday with Teacher Sela, (she’s wonderful!), and afterwards I had the chance to chat with the new owner, Shawn. It was so refreshing to have a real conversation where I felt heard and understood as a new mom with strong opinions. That meant a lot, since we are navigating so many “firsts” with our child.

As I came here to express my gratitude, I noticed some reviews below mentioning how a teacher was treated, and I just want to say that has not been my experience at all. I’ve only seen kindness and genuine family values from Shawn, his family, and the rest of the staff—who are regularly on site and very hands-on. My family feels safe here, and I can tell my daughter already loves it. She’s learning, making little friends, and having the best time, which makes my heart so happy! (:

My family looks forward to every visit to MyGym and we can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and thrive here!

I was recently made aware of how shockingly rude the new owner was toward his director, Kai. This is extremely disappointing, as Kai has always been nothing but kind, professional, and supportive toward my family and me. It's hard to believe that someone who seems so unqualified to run this business would treat the very employees who elevated MyGym to its success with such disrespect.
If it weren't for Kai, this place would have fallen apart long ago. Unfortunately, since the new owner took over, the energy has completely shifted, employees no longer seem as happy or enthusiastic as they were under the previous leadership.
Because of this, I will no longer be supporting this business, and I strongly encourage others to reconsider as well. I'm disgusted and disappointed by what l've learned about this new owner's behavior.

I used to bring my daughter here back in 2023 before moving to Utah for a while. Now that I’ve moved back to Nevada, I wanted to return, but I’ve learned the place is under new ownership. I never had any problems with the previous owner, but since coming back, I keep hearing that the new owner isn’t carrying the same MyGym spirit and personality. The vibe has changed, and the employees don’t seem nearly as happy or motivated as before.

We absolutely love MyGym Summerlin (aka the Monkey Gym). Our kids have so much fun. There's classes for ages infants to 8/9 years old. We've been coming here for almost two years and love all the teachers and classes. Everyone is always so friendly and we've made some great friends from here as well ❤️

I have been bringing my daughter here for about a year now. She is almost 3 now. We have moved up a couple classes. It's been really nice to see how she has grown and how much it has shaped her. The classes change every week. After a year of coming, we still haven't seen 2 of the same class. They're very creative. Everything is kept clean and wiped down between each class. They just recently changed ownership in May 2025 and whereas I didn't see anything wrong before, many changes have been made to make it even better, so I can tell the new owner cares a lot. We have had the pleasure of attending classes with Coach Shawn, Teacher Kai, Teacher Kaitlyn, and Teacher Vanessa. All are great!

The BEST kid indoor play gym/classes/staff!! My son is constantly learning new skills with their program that changes every week and it’s helping with his confidence and motor skills! Everyday he asks to go to My Gym and always asks to wear his special “monkey socks”. Thank you to all the teachers for making our week so special!

While we did not proceed with the membership, I will say the teachers and facilities were very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason we did not proceed is because the art class that I signed my six-year-old up for was not exactly what we were looking for.

We love this place!
I have a super high energy 3.5 year old boy who naturally leans into athletics and physical play. A 35 hr p/w Montessori program didn't provide enough physical activity for his energy level. We've attended classes here in the last couple years and switched to the preschool prep program this week supplemented with other classes. He starts asking for "ninja school", as we've named it, as soon as the sun comes up. Getting him up, dressed, fed and out the door is no longer a task. He cannot wait to start his day. The facility is super clean. I'm easily put off by smells or poor maintenance and this place feels brand new every time we've come in over the years. The teachers have great attitudes and energy, while doing physically and emotionally demanding work with toddlers. It's so impressive and the value for money is stellar if you sign up for the unlimited class pack. We're paying just over a 1/3 per hour what we were paying at Montessori school when I add up all the classes we take in a week.
The location is excellent as well for running errands during the shorter drop off classes.
I'm definitely hooked.
100% would recommend.

We loooooooooooooooove this place! I had so much anxiety enrolling my babe in preschool. But coming to this place the whole staff & environment made it super comfortable for me. Everyone is amazing!my kid wants to come in even on days hes not scheduled to hes so excited! He loves his teachers they are amazing! And have made me feel comfortable & confident on knowing where i take my child and whos caring for him.thank you my gym for being the best in town!im so glad i found you & i highly recommend this place! U wont find any other place so positive, kind & caring!

It’s great for what you pay. Preschool prep has patient staff. My kid seems to like it. His social skills have improved. Not a lot of daily feedback from teachers on how your kid did unless you prompt them and some more. Sometimes standoffish…. But the place seems to be clean.
