I have called in a few times and have walked in inquiring about a membership, types of classes, and information on personal training. Meagan was very knowledgeable, very bright, welcoming, and very polite. She will be the reason I get a membership. Gym refresh was pretty decent. Steam room is a huge part of the upgrade from the Fit For 10 brand. Sam, Jasmine, and Dom are awesome and greet everyone with a smile and great energy EVERY time. They've got a pretty decent assortment of free weights, Olympic platforms, isolation equipment, and cardio machines. Upstairs has a playoff and calisthenics area, a dedicated boxing zone, and a TRX type setup.

I had such a great experience at the gym thanks to Dom! From the moment I walked in, he welcomed me and introduced me to the gym at Carson. He took the time to show me around the facility, explaining where everything was and how all the equipment worked. Dom made me feel comfortable and confident navigating the gym. He also walked me through the membership options and clearly explained how to join, making the whole process quick and easy. It was my first time in the gym and he made me feel welcomed. I just wanted to share how much I truly enjoyed both of Franceska Quintana's Zumba classes that I was able to attend while in Carson City. Her energy and enthusiasm are absolutely infectious! The staff continues to keep the machines wiped down, as do the members. The personal training staff are well regarded and in demand. I think the March 2020 update really captures a lot. I'll let it speak to this club's positive features. March 17, 2020 update: This is a Great local gym. Friendly staff, aerobic machines, lots of free weights, boxing bags and machines, personal trainers and group classes. I've been a member for 13 years. Not sure what would get a five star rating, but I do recommended Fitness for Ten! Open 24 hours a days.

This is my favorite gym in Carson City and Nevada overall. Michelle and her staff are always so friendly and welcoming. FF10 Carson City was first gym I joined when I moved to town. I made a lot of good friends there and the staff is great to work with. It's a large gym with everything you would ever need. They have a nice heavy bag set up as well. This is my favorite gym in town! Check them out!

Great gym, but they just bought all new treadmills that only half of them actually work. I was running the other day with a co-worker, and both our treadmills stopped and lost power. This could cause an injury to someone... but other than that, great staff and atmosphere.

World's worst employees - Tried to go to classes that I paid extra for, the instructor didn't bother show up either time; just a group of us standing around. Tried to use the tanning booth, employee didn't turn it on. Obviously I called, twice, from the tanning booth, so I didn't have to get dressed. Both employees were too busy BS'ing with their friends to answer the phone. The next time I asked to use the booth, I was told it was closed for no given reason, one of the same employees was working. I stopped going and they refused to give me a refund. Please go anywhere else!

Pros: Friendly staff. Good trainers. Affordable as the name implies. Generally enough machines and most of them work most of the time.

Cons: Fox News on the tvs. Seems like an inappropriate choice for a gym. Why not just put on sports? You have to pay this month's AND next month's fees to cancel your membership. Bit of a rip. Some of the treadmills will just shut off randomly while you're using them.

It's a very okay gym. You could do much worse.

This gym discriminates against people signing up. My mother Michelle Lee is the General Manager and has banned me from signing up with no explanation or reason. No one is allowed to tell me why. Because she hates her children she has banned her kids. I have a right to go to a gym, go get a work out, and sign up. Because of hatred I am discriminated against. Fitness for 10 is nice. The facilities are clean and there is a lot of equipment. I haven't had any issues getting on the equipment I want to use but I have been going in the middle of the day when it's less busy.

The hours are a bit weird if you're just paying for the $10 membership. But if you pay for the other memberships you get 24 hour access. I don't see myself working out at 2 in the morning but I guess it could happen.

We called wanting to cancel our membership and the assistant manager said "well you only have one month left in your contract as long as you pay that you will be fine" so we paid it and thought ok membership over. WRONG and have no been getting blown up saying we owe money and that we can't cancel over the phone that we only can come in and cancel it. Long story short if you are going through them make sure you get everything in writing and don't trust a word any of them say. But hey there facilities are nice.

Social safety measures are in place and everything you need to develop including tanning. I hate to leave negative reviews. F410 is a dangerous place to work out! Its space has been oversold. It's overcrowded and understaffed. The owner Kevin Donofrio does not respond to safety or other concerns you may have. Instead he allows his staff to bully elderly clients and ban them. Definitely mis treatedto the point of using the local sheriff's department to clean their own house. There are other clubs & even new ones with more room, better safety measures, newer equipment and do no cost anymore.

For $10/mo, this is a great deal! They just upgraded some of their equipment and they have more than they used to before covid. They have lockers and showers (at least in the ladies room) and fitness trainers to help people reach their goals. Sometimes they have specials for training. They also have classes that can be paid for separately for members, or if you get the more deluxe package, classes are included. I think that is $29 or so. Sadly, the parking lot gets its maintenance needs ignored and the trees have been dying off over the years since no one cares, which is totally ridiculous and makes me feel sad. We choose times that are less crowded since we are retired.

It’s usually a great place to work out but lately they have been hosting group classes in the open area upstairs during the busiest time of the day and aren’t allowing members to use the free space in the classroom during that time so there is very little spaces open to be able to set up and work out with free weights. If it wasn’t during the really busy time of day it wouldn’t be an issue but because they are using the only area members are allowed to use freely and are choosing to not use the classroom, it’s a true inconvenience and honestly deterring me from continuing my membership here.

Honestly you get what you pay for, $10 a month gives you some machines that are forever broken, not kinda broken that will get fixed soon or in a timely manner but just broken, forget it exists. And people who like to stand by machines for long intervals on end despite other wanting to use them. The bad: The cable cross over machine is in dire need of replacement. At times it will break and go unaddressed for weeks. For the longest time there was a bubble in the mat right in front of the free weights, and I was witness to multiple people stumbling over it. Very dangerous. Someone who probably tripped over the bubble took a knife and cut it down the center, either in a rage, or in an attempt to try and fix it. Of course it didn't work. Attention to detail is lacking from staff, and I have yet to see any of them cleaning equipment. I made the mistake of going into the mens bathroom once. Cleanliness and safety, two of the most important things, are lacking.

The good: Never had any issues with other members, or witnessed anyone being disrespectful. Free weights are all in good shape, and there is never any waiting after 6:00pm.

I think this is a fair and unbiased review. Replacing the cable cross over machine, and some good management of the place, would make a world of difference.

Went to cancel my membership and they told me over the phone that if I cancel it within a 30 day notice I wouldn't be charged $50. So I canceled it 6/1/20 and yet there still charged me $50 on top of already charging me $60 on 6/1/20. Won't be going back.
