Recovering from a life changing leg injury, I thought Planet Fitness was the place I’d heal. Instead, On Thanksgiving, employee Katrina came right up, arms crossed, stern face, no smile. Rudely snaps " get out, we’re closed"
I looked at my watch, 11:55 and said, I realize it’s five minutes to, but please be kind, this is the highlight of my day. I’d be happy to leave, I just wish to be treated respectfully.
She laughs:" I don’t have to."
I ask" what is your position here?"
she says " I’m the club manager. "
As nicely as possible I ask to speak to another employee.
Jesus walks up. I speak with him. he’s really nice, I let him know how I was treated he understood and recognized I was compliant willing to leave.
After I get up on my crutches, hobbling in pain , she nips at my heels- demanding I" hurry up, get out idiot, some of us have families to go home too. "
Hurt by her disparaging comment, I replied "I don't have a family to go home to.this gym is my solace."
she says "no wonder someone like you doesn’t have a family to go to, jerk-yelling until I’m gone.
I feel harassed and embarrassed. Every single interaction with the employees has been wonderful-they’ve been warm, helpful, the whole package.
Except Katrina-, Unhinged Club management, the face of this franchise, acted like a bully in a polo. She ruined my Thanksgiving day. ..
and I get to live with the sting of her words for the rest of the day.
This is not only ethically wrong, it's bad for business. If she treats obviously disabled customers,
Just IMAGINE how she speaks with her employees and hear how she treats them.

2nd tier of the coldest showers ever in a Planet Fitness. Three are in the 1st tier where all ai did was get my hands wet. After 4 minutes (?) It got 'not cold' long enough for shampoo, shave and a fast wash.

I’ve been to a lot of big gyms over the years, but Planet Fitness has easily been my favorite experience. The gym is always clean, all the equipment works, and I never have to wait for machines thanks to the crowd meter. There’s also a calm, peaceful vibe here that makes it easier to focus and actually enjoy working out. It’s just a great environment overall, and I look forward to coming every time.

Got my membership earlier this year in July and couldn't be happier. Have all the machines and weights I need. The gym is kept very clean and organized as well.

On another note, Norman is great and should be running the place. Greets every member, walks the gym making sure machines are kept clean and sanitized and that supplies stay stocked. His customer service is 2nd to none.

I’ve consistently had great experiences at the Sunset Planet Fitness. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The facility is kept very clean, and there’s almost always plenty of equipment available. It’s a comfortable and positive environment to work out in — highly recommend this location!

I really enjoy coming to the Sunset location in Henderson Nevada. The staff are super friendly and they are always cleaning something. That makes me feel good 😊
Kudos to the staff!!
However, can we have a sign in the locker room saying that if you ate going to listen to your own music, you need headphones or ear buds. It's very annoying to listen to two or more songs all at once 😒

👉 DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE: RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE STAFF AT THIS GYM ⚠️

When I first arrived at the gym, I went straight to do some ab exercises with my backpack next to me (I had biked two miles from my house to the gym). While I was doing abs, the club manager KARINA came up to me in a rude way and told me I couldn’t have my backpack on the floor — that I needed to leave it in the locker room. I told her I knew about the rule, but that day I didn’t have a lock. She said they sold locks at the front desk, and I replied that I didn’t have any money with me. She immediately told me, in a VERY RUDE manner, to LEAVE the gym right now! ( she treated me like I was a criminal staring at me and not letting me finish my set of abs while I was on the floor)

As a paying member, she never mentioned that the lockers were actually free to use and that no lock was required or that there was any other option. She KiCKED ME OUT and CANCELED my membership !

Today, my husband tried to call and speak with her, but she hung up on him. When he called again, she answered and then left the phone off the hook without responding.

There’s NO EMPATHY in Planet Fitness Henderson!!

The gym is DIRTY, and the staff are UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL.

Unfortunately though, there are some weird characters who frequent this location, and they often use equipment for far too long, without any consideration for anyone else waiting. They are usually on their phone the entire time as well. Bathroom soap dispensers sometimes don’t work as well, but everything else is what you would want in a gym. Good price, and open 24/7

Planet Fitness delivers great gym experience every time. It’s always clean, machines are available most of the time, even during peak hours and staff is friendly and welcoming. Membership costs an are very reasonable, making, giving excellent value. I haven’t seen anyone YouTubing or self-videoing here which makes the atmosphere comfortable and focused. A few years ago, I had to cancel my membership due to relocating, and the process was hassle-free. I don’t think many gyms can offer more than what Planet Fitness provides.

Karina , the manager , has gotten a attitude with me multiple times. But, this is the last time I can tolerate her tone. She acts snarky and condescending to me every time we have interacted. Today, she made up a lie, that I know for a fact is not true. Because , I used to do the exact thing she said was not true. Multiple times actually, with multiple desk admin, even her. If its been changed recently, I would be completely understanding. But, her attempt to gaslight me, that "its always been this way" is simply not rooted in reality..
Now, I have to drive extra miles, to go to a different PF to AVOID this lady and her phony dimeanor. Smh...
