Showers have rainfall heads, a little shelf for your items, and soap dispensers.

I’m pretty new to the gym, and Danny, the Assistant Manager, has been super welcoming since day one. He always takes a minute to answer my questions. Thanks to him, I feel way more confident coming in on my own and sticking to my routine. The gym’s always clean, easy to get around, and has a really welcoming vibe. Everyone on staff is friendly and easy to talk to, which makes coming here a really good experience every time.

I’m trying to leave a fair review it’s literally 107 degrees outside, and the AC is broken, I’m pretty sure bacteria breeds under hot conditions, I haven’t gone to the gym in 2 days now bc it was so hot the other day and the new employee was so annoying about me updating my payment, after I told him I had to order a new card, he just persisted “sometimes they won’t let you work out” like bro yea I know but my membership says it’s active and I told you I’m waiting on a new card, you didn’t need to persist anymore.. it’s already got as hell in this gym on the daily, and now there is a giant “fan” posted in the back of the gym… I didn’t realize my membership was coming directly out of his pocket. Honestly planet fitness is lucky it’s the only gym within 6 miles of me, or I’d cancel my membership and go elsewhere. I also walk to and from the gym for cardio the last think I needed was to argue about my active membership after walking in 105 degree weather to get to this gym..

This is the warmest gym I’ve ever been to. Consistently just… warm. I know that’s a weird critique to have, but it’s warm in there. The fans are usually on low. A/C in Vegas who?! Maybe they’re saving on electricity. Idk. But then my intrusive thoughts got the best of me one day and I started to think that I’m working out in other peoples body heat and I had to evacuate in the middle of my cardio. lol I’m glad I’m going back home to work out in my own PF that isn’t warm and other peoples body heat, including mine, is properly vented and the fans are on and the A/C is on and I can forget that I ever had this thought (until the next time I’m in town visiting my folks. This is a 5 minute drive from them). I honestly might just stick to walking outside since I tend to come in the spring or fall months.

Besides that, the gym is clean and everyone has always been nice and welcoming.

There needs to be a shade put up, because I come here every evening, and I’m absolutely blinded by the light. The poor employees can’t even see anybody to greet them when we walk in because the sun is just beating in through the front window. Seriously makes it hard to workout, I’ll prob switch to EOS. Also, the tanning bed bulbs are never changed. But the staff is great and friendly at least.

Planet fitness a great place to work out. The weight machines are set up at least 6 ft apart they have plenty of cleaning towels and spray cleaning of equipment to keep all of the equipment sanitized areas where they have some treadmills and other aerobic machines and there's a sign on each alternate machine indicating it's not to be used so there's no one standing next to you they're at least one machine away from you if you're running on the treadmill or if you're biking or if you're doing some other type of aerobic workout and short I'm very happy with the silly the people are very nice and friendly my problem is I keep forgetting my mask when I walk in there and I got to go back to the car to get it.
It's been a few years since I've been to planet fitness I'm thinking about joining again but I do want to make comments about the showers now I'm going back a few years but they were miserably cold.
Facility was good people will fine.
But the showers were at best tepid.

Arlene is tremendous- agree with others. Everyone at the desk though has always been great, everytime.

1 complaint (with all gyms though), is clients often take "forever" on machines- if because they're working hard- no issue obviously. But usually they're distracted, on phone, talking, & taking up to 3 mins between sets. The hard workers hate losing the muscle fatigue, & hence get reduced benefits- because someone else is distracted. I.e. my abs may be tired & engaged, but then someone distracted on the leg lift takes 15 mins to do 3 sets. Tough to "enforce" because they might take offense or feel uncomfortable that they need to 'move it'. But maybe more signs or occasional blast email??

Also- no weight scales a bad idea (corp policy, I know), but tracking weight is part of health.

Strange place PF is. Makes fun of bodybuilding but says no critics literally in the same view of the eye. It's not just this location it's just very out of touch with society. As I showered the soap was empty.. fair enough.. I went to use the paper towel and it was empty.. ok.. so I went to let the front staff know but I didn't bother as they were busy.... Hanging out... I don't know.. you will see. The staff are louder in the little desk area than the gym. What an experience! To be fair, all the clubs are like this. It's usually sitting on the counter in the phones. I don't blame them, I blame management. It's losing business, but doesn't have to.

Let's stop supporting these places with this terrible customer service! 2 days ago I was there on my daily routine in the afternoon and they opened my locker, they stole my suitcase with all my things inside in the women's changing room, they stole my car keys and of course they stole my car too! The manager did nothing about it, nor did the police, who were good for nothing, my card was right in the gym's surveillance cameras and my suitcase was inside their facilities and no matter how much I begged them to help me and clarify the theft Nobody did anything, they just stayed silent and still, believe me, you are not safe there, not even your things, except your car, because they and the good-for-nothing manager know it and does nothing!!! Of course, your car parked there on the premises of this gym is not safe either! Please people, let's not support this place anymore! If I leave this note it is so that you pay attention to where you leave your money! If you are going to pay for a gym go to a better place! This place sucks with its manager and its terrible staff and terrible attention!!!

To exacerbate matters, when seeking a resolution, I was directed to contact my bank to initiate a claim to recover the overcharged amount. This approach seemed unprofessional and contrary to the standards of customer service I would expect from a reputable gym like Planet Fitness.

I believe in the importance of open communication and transparency in customer service, and I hope that you can address these concerns promptly. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the billing issue and improve the overall customer experience at your facilities.

I am writing to express my deepening disappointment regarding the ongoing billing issue I've reported. Despite apparent attempts to resolve the problem online, the assistance provided seems disingenuous and falls short of the genuine support I expected.

What exacerbates this situation is the reluctance of the manager to address the matter face-to-face or even via a direct call, considering that my information is readily available. The person who called me on 01/22/2024 was incredibly rude, constantly interrupting me, turning things around to make me feel insignificant, and insisting that the issue was still my problem. Avoid this gym at all costs – they have the talent to make you feel horrible in the worst possible way and still won't grant me a refund. They show zero concern for your well-being. I've been sick for over a week, and they couldn't even send me the paperwork to terminate my membership. Instead, they insisted I had to go down there in person to sign it. Going in person has only worsened my health. This is beyond frustrating.

I am reaching a point where a thorough investigation into the individuals managing this gym is imperative. The continuous insults and condescending tone directed at me, treating me as if I'm an idiot, coupled with the refusal to refund the unauthorized charge, is beyond unacceptable. The manager's incessant interruptions made the conversation unbearable, leaving me feeling degraded and unable to voice my concerns.

Considering the appalling treatment I've endured, I am contemplating reaching out to our local news station to shed light on how this business mistreats its customers. This level of disrespect is not just about me; it extends to all those facing similar issues. The need for accountability is glaring, and I won't stand for being insulted or witnessing others endure such treatment.

Edited after company reply: the machines are functional but you can tell they are not smooth and need oiled or updated as all machines do overtime. Also the majority of the tiny fans(the only saving grace in this place) do not work on the machines. Multiple comments have been made about the temperature and it does not change. Machines need replaced, they’re very clunky and not smooth. Would also be in here 5 times as much if they figured out how to work a thermostat. With the windows and bodies, it’s almost 80 degrees trying to work out

Arlene is a hard worker who always keeps the place clean. She is very friendly, always saying good morning to the ladies in the locker room as she is cleaning. I only took one star away for the "free for teens" summer policy. It is frustrating when teens come in and play around on their phones at the equipment, preventing paying customers from using the equipment. The teens also have no gym etiquette, often taking equipment that others are using without bothering to ask. Thank goodness summer is over.

Just as the previous customer Joseph has mentioned, there is an insect infestation at this location and nothing has been done about it. There are black roaches crawling along side the walls. More insects than I have ever seen at any other gym. In addition to the black roaches, the air conditioning system is very poor and the gym is not at a comfortable temperature.

Working out at Planet Fitness today. It is a very ideal place for the average Joe looking to get back in shape. Some days are busier than others, but this pretty normal for most gyms. I like the calm atmosphere and friendly faces. Great place to work out. Just updating about Planet Fitness. It is still a great place to go and work out. Just make sure you know what times are the busiest. Just wanted to update what's going on with Planet Fitness. They have done away with the 6 months for $100.00 deal. Bummer lol. Somehow I was signed up for a year membership at this Henderson Nevada location without my approval or knowledge. I only realized because the charge came across my card. I have NEVER been to a planet fitness gym and called to speak to General Manager Joe to report the fraud. I asked for a refund and to cancel this unauthorized membership. He told me they don’t do refunds. I said but I never signed up, I never authorized this…I’ve never even been there. I said I can even send you proof of snail mail from where I live here in North Carolina. Again said the card was authorized so theres nothing they can do. they don’t do refunds. ive never heard of this!!!!! BUT Joe said he would cancel
the membership. What the hell? ive been charged $70 for a membership i did not sign up for, never used and was told would never be refunded. how is this ethical??? HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LOCATION!!!!!

Me encanta ir a ejercitarme y las instalaciones muy bonitas sólo les pido de favor que a algunos sus empleados les sugieran que su actitusea mas amable por que su expresión en algunas ocasiones es de fastidio a mi y a mis amistades nos causa desagrado gracias por sus atenciones a los chicos que te reciben con una sonrisa y amabilidad😉

The staff is nice and I like the location but the men's showers the last several times I've gone here are disgusting. I went twice in one week (a few days apart) and noticed the same junk had been left in one shower and the curtains/walls/floor looked like they had year-old scum on them, indicating they hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. I wouldn't use these showers even with shoes on. I still plan on returning because the location is convenient -in hopes the showers are clean- and if not, I'll drop a star and add photos. If they are consistently clean my next few visits, I'll fix the review accordingly! Pay your staff more for the worst part of their job, please, showers are crucial when working out! Don't just put it on them!

Had a great experience today at this gym! I've been a black card member for a few months but decided to try out the hydro massage for the first time. Arlene welcomed me and gave me a brief tour of different massage beds and tanning. She was so friendly and really made my day!

This was the very best gym I have ever been too. Everything is extremely nice and clean and the staff in incredible. I was helped and given a tour by a very bright and kind young woman named Haley. Her customer service was phenomenal

I love this Gym. All the young people working here are extremely helpful. I especially like the leg press machines and the treadmills. There are plenty of machines and I rarely have to wait to use any.

The staff was every rude to my lady. When the manager decided he finally wanted to help us after giving us a brand new person to fix account errors. One thing I've noticed. Managers that say, "oh there is nothing I can do". Then what can you do? Just a no brained, contradictory, waste of space and time. Only auto response. " Nothing I can do, Nothing I can do., There is nothing I can do. Lol. Kinda figured with a judgement free zone, they would be better at button mashing and checks/balances. Always check your membership details. Had 3 payments come out . Plus the annually charge but there was nothing he could do to fix it. ( So we took out business elsewhere) Hope you get some better customer service sir. I'll leave your name out of it. Get with the program Young Man!

Been coming for about 4 months now and its great. The regulars are kind and the staff is well trained and courteous. Anyone who rates this place low is used to working out with gold plated pillows. 5 stars
