This Planet Fitness is staffed by helpful and attentive folks, the location offers plenty of parking, and the folks that work out here are normal people just getting their workouts in.

I belonged to a Planet Fitness in Virgina that was smaller and, perhaps due to the crowding, was always in need of some cleaning. NOT SO at this PF! It is rarely packed and both the patrons and staff keep the place clean.

The Black Card spa area has 2 lay-down hydromassagers and several loungers, tanning, infrared, and cryotherapy (I have not yet tried this) and I ALWAYS am able to get in on a session without waiting.

5 stars all the way!

This plant fitness location has been the worst experience out of all of my years of working out. Tons of issues are always happening, the staff are super negligent. The management are even worse. With the head general manager, May — being the most snobby and fakest staff member I’ve ever met. This club is always dirty, the policies are always dependent on the staff’s mood at the time. It’s overall not a place you want to work out when you have home gyms and EOS fitness right across the street. Save yourself the pain, financially, mentally, and emotionally. Good riddance.

If you’re a gym bro looking for barbells or a real bench press, this isn’t the spot. Planet Fitness Camarillo is all about machines and Smith machines — no free weights beyond dumbbells. But if you’re just trying to stay active, want a judgment-free zone, and care about cost and safety, it gets the job done.

I recommend upgrading to the Black Card membership so you don’t have to wait for machines, especially during peak hours. Solid value if your goals are general fitness, not powerlifting.

I’ve been to so many planet fitness around the country while traveling in my campervan so I feel like I have a good sense. This is definitely the best one I’ve ever been to. Clean, friendly staff, have all the additional things like Yoga mats stretching mats, there is kettle bells, etc. Showers have a good pressure and nice hot water. Spacious. They also don’t use synthetic air fresheners which is so toxic, I don’t understand why so many other places still use them. The music is also more balanced instead of the common gym bro tracks that I find incredibly annoying. Well done folks!

Weights ok and good location since no other club for a long distance but probably the worst location I've seen in my travels around the country
it says planet fitness but seems like you are getting service from the tax office.
Weights left in the fitness sections, plates on top of a shelf (what if it fell on someone) and people taking over gym areas with weights and personal bags right in front of the plyo equipment so no one can use it. Attitude was intimidating.
But how would the workers know when all 4 people at the desk stayed there guarding the scanner? Some wearing off color shirts so u wouldn't know they work there but they do since they never leave their perch. maybe I missed the good since it was busy with big body builders, or maybe just a convenient location but not worth coming back here.
when poor leadership is left alone untrained, you get a bunch of bad attitude staff like this and they don't help or clean, just stand around chatting with each other behind the desk. If u don't believe it , come take a look. It's good to bring your staff here to see how not to "serve members. Ha

We were mislead by an employee on sign-up that if we cancelled before 03/01 we wouldn’t be charged the annual fee. The membership needs to be cancelled before the 25th of the month for this to happen - we cancelled on 02/28 as instructed but were still charged the annual fee. It’s a money trap and we fell right for it.
Also there is no option to cancel online which is a violation of the “click to cancel” policy, therefore I have filed a complaint with the FTC.

Just found out their showers are amazing! 2 extra large rain shower heads (1 from the ceiling, other from wall)in each small shower except the last 1 is handicap equipped, it's a handheld shower and more space. Large locker room area & clean.

Disabled shower hose is and has been broken. When you turn it on the hose leaks furiously.

When they the renovated, they changed the positioning of the machines which created a VERY narrow walkway. This location is amazing. Me and my partner have been coming here for about a year now and it’s always been ran smoothly and the staff is very nice. Shoutout to Megan, as she has always been kind and very helpful resolving any issues with my account. Her energy is also very positive! Yesterday as I was on one of two pec fly machines, an older woman tapped my shoulder and told asked me rather rudely how much longer I was going to be to which a responded not anytime soon. The other machine was vacated soon after and she never came to use it.
After about 10 minutes she tapped me once again and proceeded to berate me for taking too long and told me that I was wasting my time because she did not think my working out was improving my appearance. I asked her what her problem was and she spouted off things that were hostile and unwarranted. Mind you, I do not know this woman nor have I ever seen or interacted with her before.
I immediately ran to the front desk and informed them of my experience. They asked her to go with them and reminded her that equipment were first come first serve and that if she had an issue with anyone, she was to let the staff know and it would be they who would handle the grievance.
This hostile attack got me agitated so that I was unable to finish my workout.
Before leaving , I stopped by the front desk to inquire as to what steps the staff had taken to resolve my situation. The same woman appeared again and silently cussed me. I asked her again what her problem was and she immediately told the staff that it was I who was attacking her.
I realized this woman is not only a bully but has done this before because she was not only unfazed but was also quick to turn the blame on me and play the victim.
Kudos to the staff for assuring me that this would not happen again and apologizing for the unpleasant experience. However, if this does happen again, I will not be as understanding. My workout is an integral part of my day and this attack was an invasion of my space, my right to work out uninterrupted and most of all, a blow to my mental well being.

Tried to cancel because I moved out of state. I called on December 11 and they wanted a written letter through our mail system. I wrote in the letter and they still charged me the monthly fee and a late fee of $39 on a credit card I had on file on December 27. With technology today the only way for this company to make money is for them to make it difficult for you to cancel. May, the manager, informed me that I needed to read my contract to be aware of the billing cycle. Even if I would have stepped in the club on the 11th to cancel, I would still have been charged the $24.99 fee. So cancel anytime doesn't really mean cancel anytime.

The Planet Fitness on Maryland Pkwy isn't the best location I've visited. First, the space isn't used efficiently in my opinion. Seems like most of the patrons to this location are there for resistance training, yet at least half of the gym is occupied by treadmills and stair climbers. They could fairly easily remove a single row of the treadmills and add a few more weight machines. The resistance trainers would be happy and I doubt the aerobic trainers would even notice. The leg press machine and assisted pull up/dip machine are always occupied, so I think those would be the machines to add. The place would be a whole lot better for it. Second, there is always at least one broken resistance machine. They are always broken for at least a week at a time. Usually longer. On top of that, they often break down again very soon after being "repaired". There is a limited number of resistance machines to begin with, so when one breaks down, it's a major inconvenience. Third, I've been to a lot of gyms over the years. I've been to quite a few Planet Fitness locations since I used to travel for work and I would visit them to exercise when out of town. Of all the ones I've been to, the people at this location are some of the strangest. I see people doing all kinds of ridiculous stuff at this gym. There will always be people doing odd things at any gym. People have a very hard time understanding how fitness works for some reason. However, I've never seen anyone use the dip machine as a standing leg press until I visited this Planet Fitness. That's just one of the silly examples of what goes on here. The staff never say anything either. I get that it's a "judgement free zone", but there's still a right and wrong way to do things. It's no wonder the machines are always broken. I'll be moving in a few weeks so I don't have to deal with this location much longer, but you've been warned lol.

They also have a few of each machine, so I didn't have to wait on a machine at all when I went at around 4 PM. Everything was clean and the machines were maintained well. No one cleans the machines, guys wearing tank tops, guys set numerous dumbbells and barbells at there feet to use yet can only lift one pair at a time. Homeless come in just to use the shower and leave a mess, leave sinks running for 20/30 minutes at a time. Circuit for circuit use only yet people sit there on ther phones for hours,, it's a joke how inconsiderate they are.. The staff does nothing about any of it. I havnt been going here that long but I'm very impressed. This place is immaculately clean. The bathrooms, the equipment. Everything is super well kept. It is constantly stocked with cleaner and paper towels for people to use. I also like that nobody bothers me here. I'm coming to work out and get out not chit chat with everyone. The staff here are top notch also.

The best Planet Fitness location. Located in a convenient shopping Plaza corner of Silverado Ranch Boulevard & Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas NV USA. This place is super-clean at all times. Very spacious gym and has many features! Lots of TVs lol. The Staff are all super kind, friendly, professional and attentive. Great showers and little changing cubicles. Thanks so much Planet Fitness for thinking of every little detail with this Gym!!! Plenty of lockers too and some of the smaller lockers have outlets to charge.

I would say it's a beginners gym. No free barbells, no free benchpress / incline. But everything else is fine. Machinery id give 7.5/10 . Overall okay gym to go for maintenance. I like bodybuilding.

A very good gym. More tuned to the novice and inexperienced so that you have a good start in an exercise program. The machines are very well kept and there are some more advanced machines there so it is a good value at the price they charge per month. Lots of cardio workout machines.
