Amazingly friendly, helpful staff.
There is always a friendly "hello" when you walk in, as well as the same effort to say Hace a great day" when leaving.
My partner and I recently had issues at another PF gym (different franchise), and the staff helped us transfer our accounts over to their location. They were helpful beyond their duties as gym staff members. We didn't even have to lift a finger (except for what we actually came to lift).

I walk in at 3AM I see a guy on the right using all the weights in the building on the leg press machine. I didnt think much of it but next thing you know I hear this man scream and holler as he SETS OFF the Lunk alarm. After I walk to the locker room and find 3 very big intimidating men sitting down worshipping a "Muscle Mommy" as they stare into my soul as i walk out. As i walk to the bench press I see my grandma casually benching 250lbs.Simply Lovely 10/10 would recommend.

Staff is always friendly when I come in. I don't expect over the top service, I'm good with just hi and bye. The staff is always cleaning, I see them mopping and cleaning the machines. Gym is pretty tidy for the most part, just your typical people that don't rerack their weights or put their mats away. I go to workout, never had issues with any equipment, I have had to wait for equipment but it is a small gym versus some of the bigger companies like 24 hour fitness and EOS. I bring my husband and never have issues. You sign up online, they don't do it in club, and you use the app to sign in. Pretty straight to the point.

I went in to try this gym as I saw a free one day trial advertised on the planet fitness website and was told they no longer offer any type of trial. It’s unfortunate because I was interested in signing up since it is a convenient location, however with the low reviews this location has, plus being unfamiliar with the gym I would never commit to a membership without being able to try it first and make sure it is a good fit for me. There are other planet fitness locations with better reviews and they offer a free one day trial so I would rather drive out of my way for a gym like that than this one.

Had to cancel my membership recently at this location because I was unable to use the women’s locker room to change. The male staff are constantly doing work in the women’s locker room when I come in and they don’t care to make you wait 20+ mins until they’re done. There have been times where I had just finished dressing and a male staff member walked in unannounced. I’ve never had this issue at any other PF location besides this one. Unfortunately these staff members have ruined my experience and I will not be signing up at another PF location ever again. Signed up at EOS fitness on blue diamond and the gym staff assured me I will be more comfortable using their locker rooms.

This Planet Fitness location is set up really well. The machines are really good. The layout is good. The stretching area is cool and chill. Even though it can get a little busy some days and times, the gym users here have been friendly, cooperative, and easy-going. Good showers and changing areas as far as for the men's side. The hydromassage machines are so good. The staff has been pretty good. They could be paid better!! It'd be cool to see them enjoy being there a bit more and it'd seal the deal. Overall, it's a great place, just keep it cool and fun, and we all win and achieve our personal gym goals.

I waited for 7 minutes when they said I had to wait 3 minutes to do a tennis, but they said it would be done in 1 hour. Out of the 4 tennis machines, 3 were broken and even 1 of them wasn't working, so why did I make a black card? Service 0 I did a tanning session yesterday at 1:30, but today I came at 12:20 and they said I couldn't do it and that I would have to wait 24 hours. I've been using this gym for almost 15 years and this is the first time this has happened. Other Planet Fitness employees are friendly and if you get caught waiting in line for a tanning session, they'll tell you to get a massage first, but here, it's like they're watching for thieves. They even thoroughly check your eye protection. It's so annoying. I wish the staff manager here knew that the human world is like a computer, where accuracy isn't everything and affection is more important.

This Planet Fitness at Arroyo has bad customer service. We signed up but when I bring my guess they won’t let her use the hydro machine and the massage chair. It didn’t explain to us that the guess cannot use those machines. Thats the only reason why we sign up with my guess to use those machine. if they explain it to us that the guess is not allowed to used those machine, I wouldn’t sign up in this place. They just bait you to sign up but didn’t explain what are exclusions that the guess can’t and can’t use. They’re even rude talking to me. What a nasty place. The place is not even clean there’s water all over the place in their bathrooms they don’t mop it you can easily slip and fall. They are fake people they’re only good if you sign up. I’m going to tell my friends not to go to this place.

Do not sign up for this location. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for months and they do not allow it unless you go there in person or send in a physical letter. Im currently committed to doing volunteer work in a remote part of Tibet for the next 2 years, and I asked them if there was any other way. It's the 21st century, I have access to wifi , but I can't physically get a letter to them unless I hike 10 miles over to the next town and even then it's more than likely it wouldn't reach them . They said there's nothing they could do and unless I pay the balance off in person they refuse to cancel my membership and will continue charging me. I've been with many gyms in my life and never had this issue, I move around a lot due to work and I've always been able to cancel over the phone or email or something. Planet fitness is a joke and the general manager who is making this decision is an absolute joke of a human being.

Signed up my granddaughter last November. Was told at 15 she could go without guardian. Now all of a sudden it’s not allowed. Was told prior employee was incorrect. She has been going herself all this time and now all of a sudden she can not. I was told if I signed her up through the summer program that she did not need a guardian. What’s the difference? I tried the facility which I thought was clean and a good and safe environment . The club had everything I needed. I tried my day pass and was impressed . I typically workout at bodybuilding type gyms but I liked the all inclusive motto of the company and was going to sign up. The day I went in to sign up however the 20 year old sales rep keep referring to me as my boy at which I took offense to. Being a 50 year old black man I took exception to that because number one I stopped being a boy at 21 and number two it’s politically incorrect and socially despicable for a white person to refer to a black man as boy . I tried to talk to the young man and explain to him his error at which he responded that he already had a father and didn’t need schooling from me. I asked to speak with a manager at which he told me she wasn’t in so I replied that I’d wait in the lobby until she arrived. After about ten minutes of waiting I see the disrespectful employee walk to the back at which point the manager emerged. I explained occurred and she and she wad very apologetic for her employees actions. I was offered a free pass for a week ut ended up signing up at another gym nearby. I was told I would get a call from human resources concerning the employees behavior but that call never came. I followed up with the club and wad told that it had been handled but I as a customer still hadn’t been satisfied for what I endured. I got a call from the regional manager whom brushed it off as a misunderstanding and said it wasn’t a big deal at which point she offered me a one week pass for my troubles. I laughed and said my attorney would be in touch. I feel the management was complicit in the employee’s behavior and believe nothing happened to the young white man that kept referring to a black man as buy. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed and will not be going back.

I’m a gym rat (30 years) and I’m very aquatinted with gym atmosphere as a whole, this location is one of the best in terms of equipment and cleanliness (a solid 10) however, staffing is a hit or miss! Gym Leadership is attentive and have always supported my needs and worked through my specific challenges…Staffing however is entirely another matter, some are super friendly and helpful, others Not So Much ( they know who ***they are*** whom shall remain nameless ( for safety purposes)

Additionally, I would Definitely Like to take a slug hammer to that dam siren (so freaking annoying and totally unnecessary and judgmental), either is a “judgement free zone” or it Not!

But overall I would totally recommend this location…

I left the country and I have been trying to cancel to this stupid $10 membership. There policy is that I would have to cancel it in person or Mail them certified mail which is not do able for me!!! I have spoken to the GM, Manager and normal staff all of them are no help. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel a $10 membership that I'm not even using, when I spoke to the GM she said that the piece of paper would allow her to cancel the membership and I told I don't mind emailing you a document. Evey thing can happen online now Planet fitness and the staff members of this gym (215) DO BETTER!!!!!!! I honestly would recommend to stay away from planet fitness as it is not a true month to month gym! It's a lie and they train there staff to uphold that lie!

I like going late at night so the 24 hour access is great for me. The fewer people allows faster access to the equipment. I noticed that a lot of the equipment cushions had holds so they are allowing things to go into disrepair hence the 3 rating. Staff is nice and helpful.

Thanks for reaching out. The facility and employees are 5/5, but the app needs a lot of work. I have tried since joining to book classes with no luck due to technical problems and the ability to view daily workouts along with weekly and monthly with more detailed and specific excersises to log would be great. I understand and appreciate the no pressure policy; however, I'm sure many of us have health issues that we are working to overcome and the ability to accurately track time and progress could not just aid in improving health, but could save lives.
My only other minor issue is with the showers. It would be amazing to have 2 feet of dry area to hang a bag with fresh clothes and our toiletries. I appreciate the supplied wash, but prefer to bring my own. I thank you for keeping the showers clean. Other gyms in the area are terrible, and I wouldn't even consider using them. Once again, your staff is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Friendly staff, good equipment in working order, bathrooms are clean and well maintained. My only issue is the showers. There is hot water but the water flows out of the showers into the walking area towards the dressing rooms. Makes for a mess. Hairs are clogging the drains, I had to clean it out before I any water drained. Seemed like it had been building up a while.
I am a paying customer I do not get paid to check these things and inform anyone. These things are what I pay for and should be checked regularly by employees.

Even though the planet fitness on flamingo and Decatur is considered my home store, I enjoy going to the Royal crossing one off of rainbow and 215 a lot. I have a membership here and LVAC. Theyre both good in their own way. PF offers more private showers, has amazing hydro massage chairs and beds, tanning booths, and some other red laser thing for your skin..workout area is OK. LVAC has pool, jacuzzi, sauna, stream room and every workout machine invented.

The staff and the equipment are great. No complaints there.

My complaint is with the shower, and that the following issue has been present for over 2 years.

First off the showers have no hot water. I’m tired of taking cold showers. Secondly they don’t have any pads to step onto outside the shower so the soapy used water just leaks all over the bathroom. Third there is no hook to place a towel or clothes next to the shower. It’s such a primitive set up that could so easily be fixed.

ALERT!! HIDDEN FEES! The sad part is that I don't have any trouble with the gym itself. For the price, if there weren't hidden fees, you are getting a great deal. The trouble is, they take out an automatic payment for an annual fee at a random date that they never tell you, and then if you don't have the money, they charge you a late fee. Their customer service when you're trying to get help is absolutely sub par. They refuse to help, and they have a "that's your problem" attitude. Don't EVER ask for a refund. THEY DON'T CARE. This location wasn't bad...The employees were helping and the place was clean...My only issue was not enough cleaning stations and there were a lot of people in a rather small workout area...

I'm visiting from another state and notice that I say about 50% cuatomers wipe down the equipment after each use. Everyone do wear their mask which is a plus. Equipments are not uodated yet.

It’s egregious that there’s no way to fill water at this location. Water fountains are closed off even for filling water bottles

Really a very welcoming and warm plave to go and get your workout in. Most people that hate on it have either been banned from the establishment for pretty good reasons and other hate it because they dont offer much but a wise person will apways see the great in this gym and for its price and many locations in the valley its a great choice. Plus they are always open like 24/7 unlike other like 24hr fitness which actually closes.
