Walked in and the staff was too busy playing cards at the front desk. Equipment needs attention & wiped down. Toilets, showers, sinks, floor were dirty and disgusting. Water from the water fountain has a bad taste of drain water and clorox. This gym needs real management.

No offense, visit another planet fitness and take notes. Your locker rooms,bathrooms and showers are embarrassingly gross. Im not even the 1st to highlight this, it appears everyone else also finds your gym gross. How are you not embarrassed by the state of this facility? How are you not embarrassed by the amount of negative reviews regarding the cleanliness? I just read a truck driver called you gross, expert judge with good advice, listen to that one!! The water is also cold in the showers. Visit a reno club with a note pad and do what they do.

I am an immigrant and I have been going to Planet Fitness for over 3 years, but this unit in question has a young man who works there in the morning, with curly hair, white (actually brown), who loves to make fun of me, laughing and teasing me! The day I break his teeth on the way out he will stop with these jokes, it is regrettable that management does not take action against its employees. One day someone may take action for them! We all deserve respect and complicity, and an EMPLOYEE should be an example, even more so wearing the company uniform.

I have been coming here every day now for a little over a week. The locker rooms are discusting. No one has cleaned bathroom and showers for 3 days at least. I kept seeing the same filth so I started paying attention. The people that work here are always on their phone or just hanging out socializing. If I ran this place it would be exceptionally clean and the employees would keep busy. They have plenty of time to keep things clean. For $25 a month I expect better.

I swear every time I’m here, which is 4-5 days a week, there are 5 people sitting on the counter but ALL the paper towel dispensers are empty and the bathroom is disgusting. If you want the gym equipment wiped down, you should probably put down the phone for a few and fill the paper towels.

I found this location to be about par for my expectation of the area. Not bad but can use some improvement on cleaning and hygiene in the bathrooms per usual. I understand that these are popular and busy locations but still there are ways to improve. What I suggest is open more gyms and always make considerations for TRUCK PARKING. I'm sure planet fitness has a considerable population of trucker clients so keep that in mind.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill since opening, partly due to it's surroundings.I canceled my membership, but that to "cancel my cancel" when I found out I wasn't relocating. You would think they'd want to keep your $, nope, "we can't stop your cancel, but you can rejoin at a higher monthly rate." How ironic. Save yourself the trouble and explore other Sparks options.

Let’s start with…I’m a truck driver. I work out 6-7 days a week at locations all over the US. This is undoubtably one of the dirtiest I’ve ever visited(as far as locker rooms). Management clearly doesn’t care or manage this place properly. I treat of pf as my locker rooms bc I know how bad truck stops can be so I feel this is a better option to shower. Well not here. I wasn’t sure if I was going to catch a bacterial infections. I feel pretty resilient to most things but this is one of the few places shower sandals are 100% needed. Mold, stains, blood, hairballs, tumbleweeds of dust, trash. You name it…it’s in the locker room. Do better. I hope someone sees this and makes adequate changes. One of the few I won’t visit again. The pf on the north side is nothing like this. 🤢👎🏻

Why is no one acknowledging that they are not running the AC in the whole place??? But especially the women’s locker room. It is 100 degrees outside and about 85 degrees inside planet fitness. This is unacceptable. How is a person supposed to have a good experience working out, showering, using massage beds or tanning all the while about to pass out from heat stroke. I can’t stand to be sweating and about to pass out from heat when I am trying to get dressed and get ready after a shower. Get it together, people. Can’t even use the restroom without sweating and being miserable.

Employees don’t watch members who use more than one machine at a time. This is a gym a public gym. Not a personal gym. People who are all over the place one machine after the next will immediately come up and press you if you get in “their space”. When will anyone enforce a rule stating one machine per person at a time. Seriously, every single one of these gyms are the exact same when it comes to controlling the members. I used to LOVE coming here but the new desk people in the evenings are clueless. Old staff always friendly, always helpful, knew which tanning beds had been changed. Of course the lay down beds haven't had bulbs dusted or changed forever. They are so gross looking.

I love Planet Fitness. I will always keep a membership because I can always find one wherever I travel. Once, I went on a two-week adventure and had to live in my car. Luckily, I had my membership and could work out and shower at the gym and enjoy everything they offered. I was looking for the elephant seals on the coast and had to keep moving. A hotel was not an option because I drove to a different location every day in search of the creatures.

I hate how management just a likes to lie to your face.and not help you with anything shoot Even hard to get a hold of, hot water for the showers is comical, It's not open 24/7 ,the place is run down, some people that work here are pretty rude, the bottom of the stand up tanning and red light are very sticky and a lot of the equipment is old, not working correctly ,sticky I had to try quite a few treadmills to run because a lot were catching and almost made me fall .... it's probably the worst planet fitness I have been to and I travel the country ...if I can help it I don't want to ever set foot in here I'm disappointed and it may be good for some but for me I'm disappointed

I love going to planet fitness the staff is friendly and sweet and always willing to help and answer questions when needed! I go in I do my work outs and I get a massage and I leave... the weekends are extremely busy and people tend to stare at you its creepy... on weekdays its not as packed and I feel more comfortable! Wife and I are black card members traveling around the United States and stopped at this one. Plenty of parking, in a strip mall, we're able to park our RV easily. Limited hours, apparently due to staffing. No broken machines like there are in California, facility was very clean, we didn't use the tanning or the massage but there was no waiting. We went on a Sunday and there was maybe 12 people there at any one time, a larger facility that was clean. Nice staff.

Not great, not bad. Smaller PF with less duplicate weight-training machines; there is plenty of treadmills and stair-masters. Seems to have a lot of louder, “drop weights” kind of people. Turning on a couple showers at first got the hot water flowing. Handicapped shower, oddly, is the smallest shower. No fans and conservative on AC. Fits the bill but there are much better PFs in the area.

There stand up tanning beds are the black cylinder ones which don't work as well as the white ones. The black ones have alot of chrome handles on the inside which I feel blocks alot of the light while the white ones have just to ropes above your head to grab on to.

Love this place but what happened to the benches in the changing stalls, can't speak for the womens room, but the men's room had no where to sit or set my things on. Hopefully that floor was clean? Also, I don't know if its time of day but the showers don't even know get warm?

Anyway, I really enjoy how friendly the staff is, and the judgement free atmosphere and that's what keeps me coming back.

Zero stars negative stars whatever the gym is super nice and the equipment is never dirty. The company and staff are terrible. To start they will charge you three or four times a month nail you with late charges because their app doesn't work (after they have taken monthly dues twice) and then when you call they will talk to a bunch of people over you while you're on the phone and basically tell you to deal with it and they don't have to help you after you get angry they have no interest in helping you... oh and then at the end they'll say to get ahold of the company that actually handles their billing 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

We are living on the road and visiting Planet Fitnesses all over the country. We were driving through Sparks and stopped off at this PF two times. The shower had no hot water. The first time I was forgiving. But a week later and the issue was not resolved? Unacceptable. Call a plumber!!
