Matt and I are newly friends, but immediately I knew I could trust him. He has this energy that makes you feel safe and comfortable right away. When I came to him for help, the conversation opened up more than I thought it would and it helped me learn more about myself in one conversation then I was willing to admit. He is a great listener, and extremely empathetic. He has a nurturing nature to him that makes you want to do better. He introduced me to an elimination diet which helped me understand the food I put into my body better. He is always willing to listen to any stress or worries I have with work or relationships and truly does just want to help. I met Matt almost a year ago when I had lost too much weight do to stress and anxiety. I could barely carry a case of water.
I was going through a bad divorce and I was a mess. Matt was there in the beginning coaching me to get out and walk in the sun, to start my mornings with sun salutations, anything to help with my mental health. He recommended to me some extra vitamins and a drink supplement to make me feel better. He was so willing to jump on board and help with exercises that I could do at home, and with dietary suggestions to gain more weight. I unfortunately went through depression and ghosted him. However he STILL kept in contact with me every couple of weeks. Whether I answered him or not, he would always check in with me! He has an amazing heart and attitude toward helping people get their best mind and body back.
After 8 months, and depression eating I had gained more weight than I wanted or needed and decided enough was enough, so I contacted him again, and said I wanted to do this for real and lose enough weight to where I am healthy and strong. Matt didn't say anything about the last 8 months. He was just there willing to help me AGAIN. Went right back into eating habits and exercises that I could handle.
He has been a rock for me even when I wasn't willing to accept it. Not only has he looked after my body, but he has concerned over my mental health as well. He makes time for me, and I cannot ever express the appreciation I have for him in my life. Matt has seen me at my worst, and I can't wait till he sees me at my best!

Matt Hanson is truly the BEST trainer in Las Vegas. He has helped me while I was injured, catering my workouts to be effective gor the hold body without adding pressure to my injuries. He is calm and soft spoken, yet you can see the passion and fire in his eyes when it comes to whole body training. I love Matt and he is a true badass!!!

I've been training with Matt for close to 3 years now and I highly recommend him for anyone interested in strength training, weight loss or overall good health. "Lower!!!" Matt demands as I struggle to proceed with the third set of squats. "Just a few more..." I think to myself, and just like that, the set is over, the pain relinquishes, and I feel already a fitter version of myself. If you want training that is not too overwhelming but challenging enough to see results, Matt is the trainer for you! While other gyms fail to tailor a workout that's suited to your needs, this task seems to come naturally to SCT. I also appreciate the pricing and the flexibility. I train virtually from another state, and Matt is always providing me with a bunch of times to choose from that will fit with my schedule.
Down 15 pounds since we started working out just 5 months ago. Yay!

As I approach my original goal competition date next weekend, I'm reflecting on the series of events that led me here.
The first time i ever heard about a "gun show" ๐๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝwas in college 18 years ago and mostly as a joke. But when I saw people I admired preparing for and competing in bodybuilding competitions, I had it in the back of my mind as a bucket list goal. โ
Every single person who I've seen accomplish this over the years has inspired me to do the same "one day," and I truly appreciate everyone who has answered my questions and encouraged me when I've reached out. ๐๐ฝ After initially grieving my 3-month TDY notification, I shifted my perspective and realized that it was a good opportunity to focus on some personal goals. ๐ฎโจ I couldn't find any gym classes early enough before work and within a reasonable distance from my location, and I got stood up by a personal trainer I was hoping to hire on my 1st morning in Las Vegas. While I was eating breakfast, moping about being stood up and not finding anything that I felt motivated about, I did another Google search for personal trainers close by. I emailed more than I can remember to see what I would get. Matt @sincitytraining was the only one who was willing to meet with me at 5am on a regular basis. ๐
I was reluctant, because I wanted a female trainer, but I felt safe meeting him at my hotel lobby and gym, where there was a security guard and cameras all around. Fortunately, he turned out to be a good person who reminds me of Jeopardy James ๐
Matt was the first stranger I ever told about my bodybuilding goal. It was April when I asked if he thought it was possible to reach my goal by the end of the year. His workouts made me feel out of shape, but he thought it should be doable with a proper diet. Matt consistently challenged me and helped me strengthen the foundation to reach my goal. I tore my Achilles roughly two years ago and became a couch potato with poor eating habits not doing me any favors. Working with Matt had not only help me bounce back, but gave me the tools for eating right and making this change a lifestyle instead of just a temporary change. Matt from Sin City Training is amazing. I have been training with him for the past 9 months and my strength and physique have improved immensely. I am almost back to my weight when I was a teenager and overall feel more confident about my body than I ever have before.
His approach to personal training is personalized and challenging, but not to the point of complete exhaustion. He is very thorough in creating full body workouts that condition more than one muscle group at the same time.
He is also extremely reliable and easy to communicate with, which makes the workouts fun. He is definitely not one of those aggressive trainers who is overly demanding and curt to their clients. He pushes you hard enough to get the results you want.
I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking to improve their fitness, lose weight, or simply get in shape.

After 40+ years of focusing my time and energy on everything but nutrition and fitness. I had a close group of friends, vibrant career and an amazing family. A great life on so many levels but what I didn't have was my health or the confidence I had done my absolute best as I had cultivating my family, friends and career.
At 47, I was 346 lbs, feeling every ounce of that weight as I got older and older.

Our hour long sessions are all about achieving results by getting straight to work. We discuss the cause and affect of my diet, how to make the best and most nutritious choices. Matt is knowledgeable on both classic and modern approach to supplements, nutrition and physical conditioning. I find Matts physical regiment to be balanced and coaching style to be serious and focused. It's an hour completely about me, for me to be the optimal me. I'm just short of 10 months and I eliminated over 100lbs through nutrition and exercise.

I hadnโt gotten back into a dedicated exercise routine since I graduated from school a few years back, so I was a little rusty physically and mentally as far as health goes. Time aligned just right, and I discovered Matt and Sin City Training, so I gave him a call. After sitting down and hearing about how his process works, I was already feeling a good vibe. After 11 years of minimal exercise due to multiple back surgeries, Matt has helped me get my life back. He gave me specialized workout routines to increase strength and flexibility and worked on strengthening my core and lower body to help support my lower back. I'm a professional dancer here in Vegas and my job keeps me in good shape. I recently was hired at a show where my dancing was pretty minimal and I realized I needed more of a work out at the gym to keep an athletic body. When I was looking for trainers, Matt came highly recommended. After working out with him for a few weeks, I noticed I was leaner in my midsection and legs.
