My time spent with Teya was amazing! This was my first time doing pilates with a reformer machine and she was very patient and knowledgeable with instructing me on how to do the movements. Afterwards I felt so much sense of relief and already can’t wait to go back for a private session. Such a great experience!

Teya has an amazing breadth of exercise selection and she tailored my practice perfectly when I told her I was rehabbing a back injury. As a physical therapist, I really appreciated Teya’s skill in this!

Teya is also attentive and uses great cues. Our sessions have been fun, relaxing and challenging.

I’ve seen Teya for two sessions for private Pilates instruction and will continue seeing her!

I have attended group Pilates classes in the past and after working one-on-one with Teya, she showed me how important individual attention is to form and effectiveness as you perform each exercise. Don't underestimate all those micro-movements and adjustments that she helps you to achieve correctly, you will definitely work your body.

Having just turned 60 this year - strength, balance, and coordination are imperative. Teya is patient, friendly, and encouraging throughout each session. I highly recommend her, she's worth every penny! Thank you Teya!

While I knew what reformer pilates was, I was always intimidated to try it, especially in a group class. These one-on-one sessions with Teya helped alleviate my nervousness. I've completed 2 sessions so far. In each class, Teya took the time to understand what's going on with my body. She tailored the class to help work on specific areas, as well as adjusting difficulty levels (my abs are sadly non-existent). I want to eventually build some strength. Definitely a must try!

My first ever Pilates class and it was with Teya. I’m so spoiled now and can’t go elsewhere. I’ve done yoga for awhile and thought I would try Pilates. Teya walked me through each step carefully and helped me make corrections along the way. I felt so comfortable and had a wonderful experience. She was so encouraging and enthusiastic. I recently took my first Pilates class at Stance Pilates with Teya, and it was a fantastic experience! Teya is a great instructor who makes you feel comfortable and explains everything in an easy-to-understand way. I was a bit nervous but excited since I'm used to traditional strength training, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well I moved! She will tailor your experience to help you reach your goals whether it be strength, pain relief, or mobility! If you're looking to start Pilates, I highly recommend Teya as a teacher!

I’ve done reformer Pilates before but in group a setting. Taking this 1 on 1 reformer Pilates with Teya was a game changer. She was really informative and helped guide me to focus on my breathing and proper form to do each movement with more intention. Thank you Teya!

I had been looking into fixing my anterior pelvic tilt and knee tightness and heard from my doctor that pilates could help. I had my first session with Teya at Stance Pilates and it was NOT what I expected. I have never done pilates before so I guess I had no idea what to expect, but I was a bit anxious going in to say the least.

That anxiety quickly disappeared as Teya was very patient and clear on where to put my limbs and which direction to push. Improper form was quickly corrected and gentle reminders ensured I was using the right muscles. The exercises were never rushed, but towards the end of the session, I definitely felt like I had a workout.

Having a 1 on 1 session seemed so much better than attending a class where I would have to perform together with more seasoned pilates'ers. Is that a word? I feel like I wouldn't have the same attention to my form in a larger class, and I would likely injure myself from not doing the exercises correctly.

I definitely recommend, 5 out of 5 stars!!

Teya was extremely informative and attentive during my one-on-one class. I've done reformer pilates in the past but always in a group setting, so I loved having the focus on me and my form. I’m currently in my third trimester and she helped me with pelvic floor exercises, which I found to be so helpful.

Being a personal trainer, I have been dependent on free weights, machines, and cardio equipment to stay in shape (with the occasional group fitness class!). Pilates was never on my program, but was always on the back of my mind to try. I am SO happy I did!

Two things worth writing about include the workout itself and the incredible environment Teya created for me. The workout redefined any assumptions I had on strength training. It doesn't matter about the number on the weight. What matters most is your body/spatial awareness and tempo. The reformer was a beast and put my usual cable machine to shame! Teya was patient, quick on her feet, knowledgeable and incredibly personable. Not only was it a workout, but the most friendly of experience.

Stance Pilates is 100% part of my weekly program going forward!

Can’t say enough good things about Teya. She is amazing at communicating in a way that helps you understand how to do the exercises in proper form. She is so understanding and gentle, I was worried I would feel intimidated or nervous, but she quickly made me feel so comfortable! Not to mention, my abs and legs were sore for days!

I had my first pilate class with Teya today! It was an amazing 1 hour of understanding my body differently. She worked on areas that I am comfortable and not comfortable with. At the same time, she is very attention to details on every areas/ moves. It was way better than a group class as I have a personalized class to my body! I worked out 3-4 times a week with Tonal, spin or jogging and this is something else!
