The perfect match for your fitness and aesthetic journey. If you're just looking to wear a cute outfit and snap a pic without breaking a sweat, this may not be your spot. BUT, if you're ready to rock that cute outfit, crush your fitness goals, and be surrounded by an amazing community of supportive instructors and fellow go-getters, then this is definitely the place for you! Don't forget to check out their first Sunday donation classes, it’s a great way to get involved while giving back. Special shoutout to Sonja, she's the best and truly makes every class so much fun and motivating!

For any potential men out there the workouts are hard, the new client special is a great deal. But warning to all don’t ask any instructors to grab a bite to eat.

Best Pilates studio in Reno! Immediately upon walking in I was impressed with the interior design and vibe of the studio. The class had great music, high energy, a great instructor, and was challenging in a great way. The coffee shop right next door is really nice.

Pilates can be a very scary thing to start but wow, the people in this studio decrease the anxiety and the fear. After meeting all the instructors I can confidently say that I feel at my best when I enter this studio and when I am done with a class. Every instructor helps with form and will not leave until we are completing an exercise correctly which I LOVE! I cannot wait to spend these next months with this studio and I will always recommend this studio to friends and family! Thank you ladies, for all that you do!

Hands down the best pilates studio in town! All the instructors are so knowledgeable, patient and down to earth. I absolutely adore how they actually engage with you and learn your name. I love how their workouts will humble you big time but the instructors really push you to keep trying your best. They are super beginner friendly, they make sure that you get it before moving on. The studio is beautifully designed and the vibes are immaculate. Love, love, love!

They are never open and never answer their phone calls plus their mailbox is full so you can’t even contact them.

This is my favorite place in Reno. Instructors 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Cleanliness 12/10. Plants 8.5/10 IYKYK. But all jokes aside. This was the first place I had ever tried Pilates and the instructors made it so comfortable for me even when I could barely stand on the reformer with all four limbs touching. The environment is so friendly you’ll never want to leave even when your muscles are shaking and begging you to stop.

the instructors are all such wonderful people, they make you cry cuz your muscles hurt then laugh right after. you just wanna be friends with all of them! the space is gorgeous, clean, and has an oh so amazing aesthetic to it, i want whoever decorated it to decorate my living room tbh. every workout is different and you feel so energized and good (and probably a little sore) after. i love this place! the best of the best in pilates and barre and in reno! long live the mill!!!

If you’re looking for the way to get back in touch with your body - and have limited time (45 minute classes? Chefs kiss) but need routine - this is it.

Every class is different and targets different muscle groups, including the ones you didn't even know existed - even your ego gets worked some classes. Who knew. With only eight reformer machines, you won't feel like you're in a crowded subway car or fighting for attention from the instructor. It’s not actually limiting in getting access to classes - when a class is full of a great eight it’s possible to blend in with the crowd or get that one on one attention. Really whatever Sonja’s feeling that day. Who knows, you might just become a Pilates convert like me. Go forth and be sore.

I have been going to The Mill since day 1 and I just keep coming back! The studio is the most beautiful and relaxing environment. You feel like you're entering a high end spa, but don't let the beauty fool you. You will leave class sweating and sore. The teachers are so knowledgeable and do such a great job with corrections to make your personal practice better while being your biggest cheerleader when you hit the right form. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced the teachers give variations to each exercise so everyone gets the workout they need. The community here is so welcoming and supportive of each other which is just the cherry on top.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Mill Pilates, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt a sense of tranquility and warmth. The Mill Pilates truly lives up to its reputation as a haven for Pilates enthusiasts.

The studio itself is thoughtfully designed with spacious, well-lit rooms and a calming ambiance. The equipment is top-notch, maintained meticulously, and offers a wide variety of options for different levels of expertise. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, The Mill Pilates has something for everyone.

What sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly knowledgeable and passionate instructors. They are not only experts in their craft but also genuinely invested in the well-being and progress of each individual. They take the time to understand your goals, physical limitations, and tailor the sessions accordingly. Their attention to detail and ability to provide personalized guidance truly elevate the Pilates experience.

The classes at The Mill Pilates are engaging, challenging, and incredibly effective. I've noticed significant improvements in my strength, flexibility, and overall posture since I started attending. The instructors seamlessly blend traditional Pilates techniques with modern variations, making the sessions dynamic and enjoyable.

I’ve tried Pilates all over town and The Mill is hands down my favorite studio. It’s so welcoming and homey, but also every workout is killer, every time without fail! All the teachers are well educated, give hands on corrections, and everyone wants to see you succeed. I feel so lucky to have The Mill in my life!

I simultaneously want to tell everyone I know about The Mill and tell NO ONE about it so I can have it all to myself!! It has been a while since I found a studio that checks all the boxes for me, but this is IT. GORGEOUS space, small class sizes, 45 minute workouts, and good range of class times! I happen to work a block away so I go on my lunch break. After a month of going 3-4 times a week I am already starting to feel stronger and more balanced. All the instructors really know what they’re doing— they help make sure my form is correct to maximize my work while protecting my joints. Don’t hesitate: Do the one-month trial and see if it works for you.

I have now been going to the Mill for 8 months, and I feel like I can properly leave a honest review. I am a very active person; I hike, mountain bike, run, snowboard, split board, the list of hobbies goes on. I always assumed that my level of activity was enough for my body. I've had injuries, compensation, ongoing aches and pains.. everything that comes along with being very active.
Since starting pilates and barre, I've become a stronger, balanced, and more flexible athlete. My core strength is stronger than ever. My glutes are finally firing the way that they should. Hip flexor pain has disappeared. My old rotator cuff injury is finally feeling strong, with very little compensation. The list of benefits goes on.
The classes here are interesting, varied, and challenging. The teachers are wonderful, and very focused on posture and form. The vibe of the studio is the cherry on top. So many wonderful humans supporting each other with the same goal to feel their best.
I love coming to this beautiful studio, and will continue to come to nurture my body to continue doing what I love most.

I’ve been coming to The Mill Barre + Pilates for 6 months and every single class has been different and challenging. Each instructor has their own style but I know I will always get an incredible workout no matter what. I’ve recently started taking mostly barre classes and I’ve seen such positive changes not only in my body but mentally as well. The studio is gorgeous and I love the small class sizes. It feels like you’re getting a private lesson because the instructors are able to offer adjustment suggestions throughout the class and it really helps you stay engaged.

The Mill Barre & Pilates is incredible on so many levels. Classes are perfectly challenging but not intimidating. The space is absolutely dreamy, aesthetically speaking, and the owner Sonja is beyond kind (and hilarious). Also I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that that music is always fantastic in class.

If you're brand new to Barre or Pilates and looking for a good place to start, this is it. The owner Sonja is very sweet and welcoming. All of the instructors are awesome. Your first class might be a bit intimidating, but even a beginner can do these classes. They're different every time so it's very dynamic, the classes are fun and challenging. The $100 for a month unlimited deal is a great way to decide whether or not this place is for you. I'm hooked!

I am beyond thankful for The Mill Barre & Pilates and how the studio contributes to the health and wellness of their members. Sonja’s leadership and experience in body movement has made a huge impact with my cross-training. My balance, coordination, and overall mental and physical strength has improved tremendously. The instructors are very attentive to the progress of their clients and are dedicated to being a part of the changes we see in our bodies. In addition to the amazing team of instructors, The Mill is a stunning studio that resembles aspects of an Italian masseria. When you walk into the studio, you immediately feel as if you have escaped your busy life and routine to be closer to the countryside, surrounded by white fortress walls with warm lighting. I have always felt comfortable, welcomed, and challenged at The Mill. I highly recommend this studio!

TLDR; Go to pilates at The Mill, your life will never be the same.

As someone with back problems and who is working towards regaining core strength, I was skeptical. I have never been a gym person, working with a personal trainer frankly sucked each time I tried, and I had *never* gone to pilates. I just searched through stuff on MindBody and took a risk. Let me tell you: I am so freaking glad I did. My life is forever changed, and I don’t regret a damn thing. Not only are the classes fun and is the studio cute as hell — the instructors are incredibly kind, supportive, and welcoming (no cliques here!) The machines are surprisingly not hard to use, which says a lot coming from a total klutz. And to top it off, going to these classes consistently for 6 weeks straight has **completely** changed my life. I feel strong again. I can feel my fitness coming back after years of lying low from illness. Pilates is life now, thanks to The Mill. I loath a future when I’m not in Reno anymore and I can’t keep going to class here.

Hands down one of the best things I have ever done for my body, so glad I tried pilates for the first time. 45 minute classes are just the right amount of time and I have seen considerable changes in how my body looks and feels after doing pilates for 1 month. Love the space... bright, open, spacious. Classes target the entire body and are fun, teachers are great!
