I was here visiting and wanted to tryout the various gyms. Tortue had incredible equipment, cable machines moving like butter, and the staff was incredible. It's awesome to see that they were getting new equipment as well. Overall, great gym geared towards the bodybuilding and general fitness community!

I tried out this gym for the minimum contract (6 months).

It definitely has a great atmosphere, the regular members and staff are friendly and very welcoming and answer any questions you may have. The equipment is new for the most part and kept clean. It’s definitely geared towards serious lifters and competitors.

Unfortunately it’s a relatively small location, which can be a problem when there are more people in peak hours so it gets crowded quickly. The pricing is not ideal either; for $120-$130 a month (slightly reduced when paying in full and for longer contracts) I’d expect more offerings and 24 hour access possibly with a badging system.

Amazing gym with amazing equipment and friendly staff. The machines here are super smooth, clean, and well maintained - they are easily the best gym machines I’ve used. The vibe in this gym is awesome, you get to rub shoulders with lots of pros from different classes and everyone is super friendly and respectful. Love love love this gym.

Great gym . Good atmosphere. Can lift in peace without a bunch of rules and staff on your butt (my last gym told me I couldn’t sweat no joke ) love the equipment and the other gym members are respectful. Going to try a few other gyms but I am sure I am going to make this my new home gym .

Nice gym with all the equipment you would need. No locker rooms, but changing rooms in the back of the restrooms and separate lockers. They also have a posing room. The equipment is new and well maintained.

A competitive figure athlete here.

The gym is small for the daily pass$30 and monthly membership!

Out of 6 treadmills 1 broke and 3 need maintenance. Only 2 work !

3 stairmasters
2 arc trainers
4 bikes
Some weight stacks are label in kg.. confusing when you don’t know how to calculate in lbs which is x2.2 the kg!

There are quite a bit of bikini athletes training here baring assets !

I normally go to north athletic gym or Las Vegas big box gym.
It’s $20 day pass.

I came, tried out and did not get a tshirt

TortureGym is without a doubt the best facility I've ever trained at. Friendly ownership, some of the highest quality equipment in the world, and an amazing atmosphere for physique athletes (but one that is welcoming enough for gymgoers of all levels!)

I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to elevate their training experience with an atmosphere of like-minded high performers.

Very nice facility, unfortunately I won't be able to work out there. I wanted to get a look around the place and this staff member named JJ helped me out with a lot of the questions I've had. He was a very cool guy, one of the nicest people I've met in a long time.

Super awesome gym and brand new and super clean. Went while I was on vacay in Vegas and they had day passes available. Pretty far from the strip depending on where you stay but totally worth it.

This is easily one of the best premier bodybuilding gyms of Las Vegas. The equipment is state of the art, the staff is A++, and the environment demands progress. Here you can build your body from the ground up no matter what level you are at. A true dream facility

IN DEPTH REVIEW OF TORTURE GYM LAS VEGAS - With Surprising Pros and Cons:

I discovered this gym after wanting to be free from a competitor "big box gym" because while the big chains are nice (you have a lot of locations, they are open 24 hours a day) and convenient, my workouts take an extra 30 minutes because of the crazy amount of people at the "big box" chain.

The owners are a husband and wife who are S. Korean. So far they have been super cool with me, very friendly. As someone married to a Filipina, asian folks are just like so nice to do live and business with.

PROS:
* This place is literally BRAND NEW. Nothing is out of order, everything is sparkling new.

* The equipment is on ANOTHER LEVEL. They are using an equipment line called "m-Torture" which is made in S. Korea These are different machines. Let me explain:

So they have plate loaded machines from S. Korea that are far different than most gyms.

If you are like me and have to work around a major surgery that you know is only 95% the rest of your life, or you have joint concerns, this is great because these are plate loaded and cable variants that have more moving parts than most "Hammer Strength" machines.

Example - they have a "4d" Smith machine where the bar moves up and down, but also forward and backwards. It is innovative.

* CHIROPRACTOR - They have an on site chiropractor. I do believe in the Chiropractic process, but cannot endorse theirs because I have not visited them. If theirs does traditional "cracking" then that is great, but I have no idea on that.

* IV TREATMENTS - They have IV treatments on site. Again cannot vouch for them, but they offer them.

* THE MIRROR ROOM - They have a strange mirror room for seeing ALL your muscle angles, with one mounted high on an angle so you can see development you would miss otherwise.

* PHOTOS ARE OKAY - They have selfie poles. Like... the big gyms say "no selfies or recording" but these guys are like "hey, take a selfie, record!"

* NO PEOPLE TO GET IN YOUR WAY - There is hardly anyone in this gym. That might change, remember they are new.

CONS - Yes, there are some cons. Not major, but I hope you have a calculator app:

* EVERYTHING IS IN METRIC NOT LBS - Because all the equipment is from Korea, it is metric.

There is NO proper conversion.

If you are loading the "big plate" at an American/Canadian gym, that is 45 lbs, but here it is 20kg.

20kg is actually 44 lbs. And it gets different the lower you go, so here is what they have at this gym:

2.5 kg = 5.5lb
10kg = 22lb
20kg = 44lb

This isn't a huge deal. Just do some math.

If for example you just came here and your lift is 145 lbs, do this:

145-45 (the weight of a bar) = 100lb
100 lb ÷ 2.2 = 45.45 kg (just round down)
Now, load the appropriate weight on the bar in kg.

I suggest that the owners post some reference charts around the gym, but I am not even sure they read these reviews.

* THE MONTHLY PRICE - This place is not cheap compared to the "big box chains," but you are not waiting an extra 30 minutes to get access to benches and equipment, so if you are okay with that, just know the cost for entry is higher than other places.

* Three month minimum agreement - They do get you on three months at a time. Not a big deal and compared to another gym in town that is geared towards power lifting and bodybuilders this is not bad, because they want you to commit to a YEAR at a higher price per month.

You pay MONTHLY, not all at once up front.

* HOURS OF OPERATION - They are open to 10pm most days, and aside from weekends they give an extra hour if you are in before 10pm. Sundays is 8pm, and they want the client out at 8pm.

I hope they can consider putting a keyless scan in, because Vegas is a 24 hour town with a large percentage of folks working casino hours, but I have no issues with the hours personally as it works for ME.

CONCLUSION - I am overall happy here. You might be too.

This is maybe the best gym in the world. The gym is very clean, the equipment is all Newtech branded which is a South Korean brand focusing on maximum muscle contraction and preserving joints, the staff are friendly and willing to help you learn how to use certain machines, and there typically isn’t a crazy amount of people where you can’t find a single machine to work on.

Maybe one of the more “interesting” parts of the gym is that the equipment can’t be found anywhere else. I would advise the gym managers to start posting instagram reels or youtube shorts on how to use the machines since you can calibrate each one very specifically to target each muscle.

Another aspect of the gym to keep in mind is that it’s a gym specific for bodybuilding so if you’re really looking for a strength or powerlifting gym the machines used to isolate specific muscles wouldn’t be of much use here. I think the clientele of gym goers are 1) upscale residents who want to avoid large crowds at commercial gyms 2) bodybuilders 3) prior injury existing or older folks who want safety at top of mind 4) influencers who want a space to film without judgement

Overall i’m highly satisfied with the gym and if they found a way to add a steam room and a cold plunge it would be perfect
