I have been a member a couple years now and love this place. Very clean and the staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are a wide variety of classes for all age groups so it has appeal for everyone. The owners Dave and Mimi are my coaches for their competitor Team Absolute and are available to assist in every way they can. Dave's diet and exercise plan has already helped me lose 10 pounds in 8 weeks for a competition. It is a big place with all the equipment you need to get and stay fit no matter what your fitness interest or level is!

I went in and tried one class. I did like it. Although I think it's important to note that they claim MMA but what it really is is kickboxing. (for them MMA means boxing plus kickboxing 😆) somebody said that they are potentially going to offer Wing Chun soon, but unconfirmed. there was only one other woman but it was welcoming and rather diverse in a good way.

Smaller size leads to a more personal feel. The staff knows my family and it is noticed if we don't come. They have a great program with youth classes such as boxing. While the kids are learning and getting exercise, parents can work out! They have good equipment and the classes are included with the gym membership. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great classes, but not a very flexible schedule for folks working 8-5, no yoga, hardly enough iron, and the benches are often taken after classes.

For the price I would have wanted either better hours or better weights. All the staff and coaches were great and the facilities were always clean.

I feel super scammed by these folks. They got me in to buying a membership for my 8 year old son. My son immediately lost interest due to not actually learning anything in these classes (the teachers would rarely teach, just barking moves that the kids "will figure out as they take more classes." As I was told by the owner. Membership was supposed to be cut off several months ago, but they kept charging me. I had to block them off from the bank because they do not understand what a cancelation is. Now, they are trying to send me to collections over a bill that I am late for. (The membership fee that should not exist.) Stand up way to do business. Lock them in, and never let them stop paying. Even if you are providing no services. I feel that this is just a money scheme more than a gym that wants to help kids. My son has since completed 2 different sport seasons since. His lack of interest was not because he is a kid. It was because UFC gym taught him next to nothing, and hardly gave him the time of day. Except when the money was needed.

Submitted a formal form to cancel my membership as it said in the contract, and I included the sections in my contract on the formal hand delivered letter where it show my right to cancel as long as this step was done. Before I attempted to cancel and was told it would be done so, then received a call from the manager saying it was never run by her, told me I couldn’t cancel. After I sent the formal letter in person I wasn’t contacted or or informed of any issues so I assume my cancellation was processed. I no longer live in the area or anywhere near it, so I physically can’t go. I then received a message from my card saying a charge was attempted. Lack of communication with place. Glad my card was locked cause I lost it school for a bit. Attempted charge was almost 200

Signed up, and was immediately greeted by one of the owners and she introduced me to her husband as well. Extremely friendly people and the gym is extremely clean as well. I signed up just for the gym and it has everything you need to work any muscle you need plus cardio equipment. Bathrooms include lockers, shower and a vanity station for women. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean and big gym! Never too crowded and plenty of room to use all the equipment- full set up for more boot camp workouts, boxing and weights area. Nice people and good instructors.
Schedule isn’t consistent which is annoying!
Need more classes ! Gym doesn’t open until 7am which is a major bummer! I am a morning person and getting to class at 530pm is never easy - at least in the morning it’s before work and I can control my schedule. Classes at 6 and 7 or 7 and 8am would make a world of difference and would be the deciding factor on whether or not I stay a member here. Variety of classes could improve too.
Personally the floor beneath the boxing area is terrible if you train barefoot - the only way for kickboxing - it’s tearing my feet apart!!! Should invest in proper boxing mats!

The kickboxing/boxing class Tyler teaches at UFC gym is amazing. He works really well with all types of levels of training. If you are brand new don’t worry Tyler got you! Definitely get a good sweat on. I average burning 400-600 calories from what my Apple Watch tells me when I record the workout so definitely great cardio!

It’s rare to find a gym with properly tensioned cables. I’ve visited many of the gyms in this area to find the best one. All of the Corperate owned franchises are not properly sanitized or have machines out of spec. This gym is family owned and staffed by happy and friendly employees. Avoid the anytime shitness, 24 hour, and shitness connection.

I am blown away at how it has taken 6-months for them to cancel my membership. I just got a call blaming me for their corporate collection emails. I was guaranteed that no charges have hit my card since 2/22/2019, yet $304 has in fact been charged. I loved the membership and the gym when I was there with my boys. Life changes and we needed to exit, but it has been an extreme pain. I have a very bad taste for UFC Gym - Reno.

As a previous personal trainer and amateur bodybuilder, and now as a doctor I appreciate that this gym uses the most ergonomic machines possible. My joints don’t hurt even when I go heavy on shoulder press, my back feels great on the single arm lat pull down machines, the isolation is unparalleled with this equipment. Thank you for bringing this equipment to Reno! (There likely* isn’t better equipment found in Reno as I’ve been to almost every gym. For example: American Iron has some great equipment that this gym does not but I am speak solely to the quality of the equipment).

Every now an then experiences happen that have an extraordinary impact in life. Walking into UFC gym and meeting Dave & Mimi has been that for me. Since the first moment I walked through the gym doors I have been welcomed and treated with kindness and respect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The gym easy to use and VERY clean. The patrons are pleasant and I have developed many wonderful friendships. I spend a majority of mornings working out with Dave’s coaching. Ive been boxing for 26 years, and lifting weights for 34. As a result, Ive experienced both good and bad gym in both areas of fitness. But never have I been part of a facility.. a family.... like UFC.. This gym, its owners, and members are the best people to train with as well as just spend my free time with. WOW! This is by far the best gym I have ever been to! At first I was hesitant because I don't consider my self a fighter at all, but after I went in and toured the facility, I realized that fighting is not the focus! It's fitness! They offer an array of classes from Daily Ultimate Training (kind of like a cross fit style class) , to kick boxing and boxing conditioning, to a regular weight area, this place has it all! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the coaches know how to push you, while still keeping it fun! All the equipment is BRAND NEW, which was a big plus for me. I have been a member for the past few months and have enjoyed every single moment of it. I have also noticed a drastic improvement in my physical health, and fitness.
