Finding the right gymnastics gym was important to us, and American Gymnastics has exceeded every expectation. Our daughter, who began in beginner recreational at 8 at the beginning of this year and is now 9, absolutely flourishes in Coach Ava's class. The program's structured approach is fantastic, and we're so impressed by the positive interactions among the children. This isn't just about learning cartwheels; it's about building a strong foundation in life skills. We've seen firsthand how they instill teamwork, patience, kindness, and attentive listening—qualities that extend far beyond the gym. Beyond the excellent coaching, the facility is always spotlessly clean, and the entire staff is both professional and genuinely personable. Despite driving nearly an hour from Vermont, the quality of instruction and the nurturing environment make every mile worth it. We are so grateful to have found such an exceptional gym with an incredible team to support our daughter's development.

We love Coach John and Coach Ava in our daughter’s kindergarten class. She’s 3 years old and has been attending for almost a year. It’s been amazing watching her confidence grow while working with her coaches. She originally started in the toddler class and it was such great opportunity for her to learn social skills as well as getting her active. We also hosted her 3rd birthday here and it was a HUGE hit! She still talks about it and wants to have another gymnastics birthday when she turns four!

Both of my children have been taking classes from American School of Gymnastics for years and we love it! They have loved kindergym with Coaches Rayne, Beth, John, and Bella as well as Recreational Gym with Coach Ava. My youngest started in toddler/parent gym and I’m so glad. We’ve been part of the American School of Gymnastics family for over 5 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!

My son Riley (age 10) is in the boys recreational class with Coach John. Coach John is fantastic—encouraging, knowledgeable, and always finds the right balance between fun and skill-building. Riley has gained so much strength and confidence through his classes.

My daughter Niomi (age 8) has been in the Stars class with Coach Bronwyn, who has been absolutely wonderful. Coach Bronwyn is kind, motivating, and brings out the best in every gymnast. Thanks to her guidance and support, Niomi is now moving up to Pre-Team and couldn’t be more excited.

The coaches are dedicated, the facility is well-run, and the progress we’ve seen in both kids over the years has been amazing. Highly recommend!

We love American School of Gymnastics! My 1 1/2 year old son did the Saturday morning toddler class with coach John for the last two months and he loved it! The class is very relaxed, perfect for an energetic toddler. Coach John tries to give all the kids a little 1:1 attention during each class, which we really appreciated. We are taking a little break over the summer but coach John said he could accommodate some summer drop-in classes, which will also be super convenient and appreciated! We can’t wait to go back this fall!

Our daughter is 10 and has been taking classes at American School of Gymnastics for 3 years. She started in the recreational class and has just joined the Bronze Team. We have considered trying a gym that is closer to home but our daughter has appreciated the teaching style of all her coaches at ASG so much (John, Kim, Bronwyn, Hayleigh, Rainie, and Bella) that we have decided it is worth the extra drive time! Our 9 year old daughter has worked with all 4 of American School’s phenomenal coaches at one point or another over the last 2.5 years. With their guidance and her hard work, she’s steadily progressed from recreational class to the bronze team. Joining the kinder class was amazing for our daughter. She not only has grown as a gymnast but her confidence as a person has changed immensely. Toddler gym has been an exceptional experience for my 3 year old grandson. He’s been enrolled for about a year now. Coach John dedicates one-on-one attention to each student during every class, fostering a supportive environment that encourages my grandson to overcome his fears without being overly pushy. The padded floors and a wide range of gym equipment offer endless possibilities for the little ones. My granddaughter started almost a yr ago n has excelled to the pre team. She loves going and learning. She takes what she learns and come home to practice her own bar, beam and mats. Both my granddaughter and grandson would go tocthe Friday night events and they have lots of fun. My grandson now goes as well and is super excited to learn more on the boys team. We really like how the older students are also instructors. They do really well with following a routine. John is a great coach/owner. All the other coaches are great with the kids as well.

Took private lessons with Michael here back in '03 and '04. Awesome guy, and a great teacher. Now it's ten years later, and my two-year-old just started their toddler tumbling groups. I'm psyched. I loved going to here back in highschool. Best part is Michael's still there! BTW great facility, nice big tumbling floor, spring boards, boxes, bars, trampoline, training harness, etc. Ahh, to be young and spry again...
