About the Club

I’m a certified barre and Pilates instructor with five years of experience helping clients feel stronger, more confident, and truly enjoy moving their bodies. I offer personal training, small group sessions, and specialty workouts for private events- including unforgettable bachelorette party workouts. Whether in person, virtually, or in-studio, I create low-impact, high-energy workouts designed for every body. Each session is fully customized to your goals, needs, and preferences, making fitness a fun, empowering, and sustainable part of your life. My philosophy is simple: workouts should be as joyful as they are effective.

My wife Sue took Emily's Pelvic floor workshop and would highly recommend it. It was informative and well researched.

The most valuable insight she took away is the 360 breathing and will continue using that in her daily life. She encourages anyone interested in improving their pelvic floor to sign up.

Emily’s pelvic floor workshop is not only informative and well put together but provides a safe space for women to get together and share real life stuff that affects our minds, bodies and souls. I learned so much not only about the anatomy and strengthening of my pelvic floor, but also how to understand my body, inside and out, to create changes and reduce stress. I have heard about pelvic floor workshops for pregnant women and was thrilled to learn that Emily was offering one for the rest of us. She has a lot of knowledge and she shared personal experiences with us on how much this practice has helped her. The techniques, poses, breathing are practical as well as enlightening. I am positive everything we learned from practicing in classes, handouts and videos for reference, will be a source of my self-care from now on. The only regret I have is that she was gifted to me in my 7th decade here on this earth plane instead of several decades ago!

Emily is your super fun big sister, your crazy best friend, and your workout MASTER! Going to her class is always a breath of fresh air whether you’re finding your zen (and abs) in Pilates or killing your booty in Barre. I started going to her class because my family told me I just HAD to, but I keep going because she has stabilized my body and core in a way that even chiropractic and physical therapy didn’t accomplish 100%. My hips are opening up and my low back pain is mostly just a memory. Thank you for giving me my hobbies and life back ✨

Barre and pilates with Emily have been really restorative in bringing back the joy in meaningful movement. I come to class for the exercise, but stay for the laughs, supportive vibes, and great playlists! Barre and pilates with Emily are truly for every body, at every stage of life. You’ll leave every class feeling a little bit stronger, and a little more connected to the people you’re sweating beside! Many instructors can encourage holding on for an extra few reps or another 8-count, but the Booty By Emily difference is that she makes you believe you actually can!

My first barre class was HARD but Emily got me through it with her upbeat energy! When I started my barre journey, I was recovering from a knee injury, and now that I’ve consistently brought barre into my workout routine, that pain is gone. Emily knows how to push you just the right amount so that you’re getting stronger and listening to the needs of your body. The way that she runs her classes with humor and fun playlists creates an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. She makes you want to show up for yourself, for the community, and of course to get a bootybyemily!

I started taking barre classes to build strength and confidence in my body. I was met with the best atmosphere and the most supportive community! Even by my second class I was feeling stronger and more confident in what my body was able to do for me. Every class is fun, engaging and unique with modifications for what your body needs on any given day. Her upbeat attitude and encouraging words make you feel like you can do anything! I have absolutely LOVED emily’s classes at the suite studio. She is so empowering, motivating, inspiring, and awesome. I started coming to her class after my sister recommended it, and now it is something we do together that brings so much joy into our lives!
My body and mindset have improved greatly due to this class, especially through my breath work, balance, posture, and overall confidence. I have found so many parts of my life that I felt were missing through coming to this incredible class with an amazing instructor. If there were someone joining I would tell them that these classes will not only help you physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. I would say you should go out of your comfort zone like I did, because it was oh, so worth it!!

Taking classes with Emily has been transformational for my mind, body, and spirit! Some days it's hard to get yourself to the studio, but I have NEVER left her class feeling anything but gratitude for myself for showing up, and for the amazing post-barre feeling. Emily is phenomenal, because it takes a special person to make you laugh while your thighs and bum are burning! I have noticed a difference in my flexibility, balance, and overall strength. I occasionally struggle with neck and back issues, and Emily is so attentive to modifications that feel right for you. There is something very special about the energy that Emily brings to the mat, and I love her for it! Thanks for helping me to feel strong again <3

I took a barre class about 10 years ago at a bachelorette party and hated it. As someone who’s been into strength training for over a decade, I thought barre was slow, boring, and definitely not for me.
Fast forward to this past January when I joined The Suite Studio. I saw barre on the schedule and immediately wrote it off—until Emily encouraged me to give it a shot. So I did… and wow, that first class was humbling. It was hard, and I didn’t fall in love immediately—but Emily’s energy was infectious. Her music, her encouragement, and her super helpful feedback (especially with positioning) made me want to come back. Emily also mentioned barre could help with lower back pain—something I’ve struggled with for years. Now, five months in, I’m amazed to say: I don’t have back pain anymore. It’s wild.
Every class is still a challenge, but also so much fun. The community of women, the laughs, the sweat—I genuinely look forward to it. And the strength I’ve built in muscles I never even knew I had? Game-changing. Not to mention the mental clarity and energy it gives me.

So... do I dare say it? Am I a barre girlie now?

Emily’s barre class made me fall back in love with working out! Her philosophy that every BODY deserves a space was what really drew me to her classes. 🧘🏻‍♀️ Emily & I began our Barre journey together almost ten years ago as two 4th grade teachers who wanted to feel stronger and rid ourselves of unnecessary pain. Emily continued on to become an incredible Barre instructor, who I’ve reconnected with at The Suite Studio in Dover!
💪🏼 I am forever grateful for her expertise in Barre/Pilates because my core actually exists again, my back doesn’t yell at me after sitting too long anymore, and I’ve re-discovered the muscles I forgot I had. Most importantly though, Emily has assisted me in re-building my booty!

I cannot recommend Emily and her classes enough! I have been going to workout classes for many years, including barre, and took a hiatus. Flash forward to 1 year post partum, and I was itching to return to doing things I loved that were just for me and start taking care of my body again. While everything moves and feels different these days, and it often feels MUCH harder, Emily’s energy, love, kindness and compassion has changed my physical and mental health. She’s always giving suggestions and modifications for any and all bodies. Not to mention, the vibes are 🔥 you won’t regret joining a class (but beware, it’s addicting)!
