BE WARNED
I'm sad to say that the owner of this gym continually engages in unprofessional behavior again and again. Here is a typical circumstance - someone joins the gym, they want to quit, they give their 30 days notice to quit, then she continues to bill the member for the month after and even continues to bill for months to come. They e-mail, text and call, she doesn't respond and then when they show up to the gym and corner her she pretends it was all some mysterious error. Additionally, there have been instances where she has not paid her affiliation fees (meaning members can't register for the competitions), not shown up for class, cancelled class without warning and then showed up later that morning to provide private classes to members with who she has personal relationships and most strangely had her vehicle repossessed in front the gym during class.
I don't share any of this to hurt this woman personally. She has hurt herself enough. I share this to save you (prospective member) the hassle of having your money taken from you and then have to fight her to get it back. This pattern has continued for about two years and no one is warning potential members. Then we all exchange the same story and yet more people keep joining and having the same thing happen. I have many friends who have lost money to her and it is ethically and morally wrong.

My husband and I hail from Crossfit Invictus in San Diego, and were on vacation visiting family in NH/MA for a week and a half. We found CrossFit Reclamation and went to class almost everyday, with the exception of Sunday. Kathy, the owner, was our trainer for almost all of the morning sessions. She is warm and friendly, and has a great energy and humor that made each session something to look forward to. She also really kicked our as$ each and every session (including the Operation Redwing Memorial Workout that my husband attended). I have to say that initially I was quite nervous about visiting a crossfit box outside of our usual Invictus, and I didn't know what to expect or what the clientele would be like; Reclamation has such a great group of people here, though. They were incredibly friendly and great training partners. We look forward to another trip out to NH/MA and will definitely make Reclamation part of our visit. Like I said before we flew back to San Diego: we really wish we could've taken Kathy back to San Diego with us. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, Reclamation. We wish you GREAT success.

From the first day I stumbled into this gym on my way home from work, I was hooked. I joined on the spot and I have been training here since July of 2011. For me, this environment allows me to be feed my competitive side, train hard and still have fun. Kathy B. is a great trainer who truly cares more about form, function and the well being of her friends than in simply shepherding "clients" through a workout and into a membership. Whether you are looking to loose some weight, mix up your training regiment or are trying to become a top notch athlete and compete, she will give you the tools and encouragement to help you reach your goal. Smiles, sarcasm and a kick in the ass when you need it are all included! This is the kind of gym where you get great instruction, training and support but ultimately, you get out of it what you put into it. So I would encourage anyone who is curious to drop in and see what Cross Fit Reclamation is all about!

This is gym lives up to it's name! I joined in September 2013 and I am Reclaiming My Life! As someone who has spent 30 years going to various gyms Crossfit Reclamation is what I desperately needed to get serious about my fitness. Kathy owns the gym and coaches most classes. She fosters a unique gym community that supports each other and great friendships emerge. She is strict about doing daily mobility and having proper form so you don't injure yourself. She helps us set goals and caters our pre-workout and post workout exercises to help each individual. I am addicted and look forward to being there and when I miss a class it bums me out. Crossfit Reclamation is great. I have just finished the two week ramp up program and took my first regular class last night. The program provides a lot of encouragement, comraderie, and motivation with plenty of of challenge but does not cross the line into pressure. I am a lot older than most of the students but feel very comfortable and get a lot of encouragement from the younger, more fit, members.
The cross fitness aspect of the program is of course ideal for athletically inclined younger members but ironically it I think it is even more valuable to those 40 and beyond when loss of muscle mass and joint flexibility really starts to set in. It also allows a less fit person to fitter faster because the excercises are spread across so many muscle groups you can work out more often and longer without fear of overexertion or injury.
Over the years I have tried running and biking and Planet Fitness, all with some modest success. The best success I ever had was at one time I had a personal trainer who had been a competitive weight lifter and he designed and managed a custom program for me. It worked great but I could not sustain the expense. This is reminiscent of that experience in that the program does all the planning for me and manages me while I do it, at a much lower cost than that of hiring a trainer every week.
I joined to help control my blood sugar levels and with these first two weeks I am seeing BSL's 20 and 30 points lower than before I started.
I could not recommend the program more.

Think twice before joining this gym. The website advertises a specific discount for certain professions, but she doesn't honor that, which should have been a red flag to start with. So I joined anyway and went through the elements class, which she will charge you $40 extra if you miss, so good luck if you can't change your work schedule the day before. After the elements class I was able to attend one actual Crossfit class. After I told her that I was only able to attend one time slot, she cancelled it for surgery, which was ok. Then I went to go to the next class and she was waiting inside and told me that "the classes were on hold," because not enough people were going to that class. To me, my money wasn't good enough for her time. She told me that they were on hold until further notice, to which I told her I couldn't reasonably attend. She then told me she would try and get it back after sending out a survey to the rest of the members of the gym. Which I never received. I tried emailing and calling her over 20 times in the past month with not ONE response. Since then, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for a refund, which I doubt she will give. Join a different gym, a more responsible, respectable owner deserves your money, who appreciates their customers.
