I’ve taken both semi private and group classes at Dover Pilates with Nadine and Alice, and the difference between this studio and a large class settings is incredible. Dover Pilates is not an in and out studio. The facility has everything you could want for a real Pilates experience and you can feel the intention behind every part of it. The instructors actually care about how you move and they make sure you are doing Pilates correctly instead of just rushing you through a workout.

In just two months, I’ve learned so much about proper form and I now catch myself making small adjustments in my day to day movement without even thinking about it. It is really amazing to notice those important fixes happening naturally. I am already feeling stronger and I genuinely look forward to every class.

The environment is super clean, super friendly, super supportive, and super uplifting. 10/10 recommend

My cousin and I have been doing semi private classes with Jennifer Day. Jen has been so helpful and is very knowledgeable on our journey of pilates. Last summer I overcame my price hesitance and “splurged” on a package of semi-privates (duets) at Dover Pilates. After just a few sessions with Jen, the message from my 53-year old body was loud and clear: keep going, no matter what!! Pilates very quickly reduced my backaches, helped my achy knees, toned my midsection, and improved my walking gait and posture. Over the past year of going just once a week, I’ve gained so much awareness of and appreciation for my body, including its fascia and muscles. Long story short: Dover Pilates is not a splurge, it's an investment in your own long-term wellness and mobility.

I came to Dover Pilates about a year ago at age 59, in ok shape but not much of an exercise program beyond walking. I can't believe how much Pilates has done for me. I am standing up straight, naturally, for the first time in my life! My back and core are strong and supple! My body feels good! Sometimes I just stop what I'm doing and stretch my arms and legs, stand on my toes and reach for the sky, because it just feels so darned good. And I started feeling these things after only a few sessions. And Jenn is such encouraging and observant coach. Don't hesitate, do it! You will not regret.

Dover Pilates is my new home! After years of jumping from gym/online classes, I would get bored and move on. I have been a faithful "Pilates groupie" for close to a year now and don't see that changing. I had had the pleasure of taking classes with Lauren, Jennifer and Nadine and all 3 have challenged me but also encouraged me. No 2 classes are alike, and the small class size help the instructions tailor the class to the group. Pilates has made me stronger and helped with hip and back pain. The big joke with my friends' is "don't schedule anything on Sue's Pilates day because she won't come!" If you know me that says ALOT! The bottom line is I would recommend Dover Pilates to anyone.

Lauren is a compassionate, detail-oriented, and caring instructor. I've been taking her private and group sessions for the past six months. Jen and Nadine have truly created a wonderful small business and the community they have that supports them is filled with genuinely kind and passionate clients.

Jen and I dance together for Safe Haven Ballet on the Seacoast and I take her group classes and have one-on-one sessions with Jen often. She puts detail, alignment and compassion into her classes and sessions and trains various types of athletes, dancers, moms, dads, kids.. all ages, including our director at SHB!

I work for Athleta and my management team is excited to collaborate with them in June!

She has honestly made me a better, stronger and more aligned dancer and woman and I am very grateful for her and the heart she brings into her business in all ways. Jen and Nadine have created something special here in Dover. You won’t be disappointed.. and you’ll get a great workout. 👏🏻

I have been a client with Nadine/Dover Pilates for since the beginning (8 years)...private classes. I stumbled upon this gem of a place when I won a gift certificate for a free private lesson and a group class at a networking event. Nadine's one to one class was customized based on my skill set offering a range of core exercises. I found the group class that had the athletic component to be more my style as it offered a few more difficult circuits. As a beginner to pilates, Nadine was very patient and walked me through each movement in great detail. Highly recommend signing up to anyone interested in trying out pilates!

My Pilates journey started with a desire to straighten up, release tension in my shoulders, and extend the work that I started in PT to mobilize my spine and strengthen my core. Nadine is tuned in to my particular challenges and goals and for nearly 18 months has been a coach and guide helping me achieve my goals. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, Scoliosis, herniated lumbar discs, and arthritis. I tried the traditional route first, i.e., two rounds of physical therapy that did nothing to alleviate my condition. At that point, I took matters into my own hands, contacted Nadine, and began practicing Pilates, specifically the Reformer. At the next appointment with my neurologist he greeted me with the words, “I see you fixed yourself.” Pilates has been a godsend for me, keeping me both strong and mobile. Nadine’s attention to detail ensures that my body is in the correct position to perform the move asked of it. I always leave a Pilates session feeling better than when I arrived both mentally and physically. Pilates keeps me 76 years young.
