I had my winter jacket stolen from the coat rack of the men’s locker room at this gym on Friday, November 21 between the hours of 6-7 AM. When notifying the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said they would reach out. No one contacted me.

On Monday, 11/24, I found out the front desk staff had misplaced my information over the weekend. They asked for it again and I provided my email, specifying that I’d prefer to be contacted via email instead of phone. I specifically told them that I would be at work all day and would not be able to answer a phone call. I watched the front desk agent circle my email and write “best contact” with my own eyes.

Later that Monday, I received a call from another representative, who had to leave a voicemail because I was busy at work. Their voicemail essentially told me to check lost and found. No mention of my jacket being stolen or a crime having been committed. Given the lax response from the gym, I decided to file a police report. I completed the process online and was notified shortly after that the case had been accepted. I was given a case number.

On Tuesday, I once again notified the front desk staff that I would prefer to be contacted by email. I specified that someone did call, but that I was unable to answer because I’m working. I also notified them that I filed a police report, and emphasized that any correspondence between us would now need to be written. I also reiterated that I know a crime occurred because it was a small window of time (6am-7am) and that my jacket had a broken zipper on one pocket, meaning whoever took it knows it does not belong to them.

I am irked by the way the gym responded to this. I am also disappointed in their poor performance when first reporting this crime.

This gym charges $115 monthly with a $175 annual fee. You’re better off going elsewhere for far less money. I have been going to much better gyms since I was in high school and I’ve never had something stolen from me.

I added a picture of broken ellipticals. This is typical for this gym despite the amount of money it charges its members. There are also broken pieces of exposed, sharp wood in the men’s sauna that ownership refuses to properly repair.

Buyer beware.

My 11-year-old is part of the swim team and also took swimming classes here. We have a family membership and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The coaches are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the facility is always clean and well maintained. It’s been such a positive environment for our child to grow and gain confidence in swimming. Highly recommend!

Absolute crap. I moved to Oregon for six months and they continued my membership after I paid the 1200$ for the year charging me for two months $200+ dollars when I never checked in and had the audacity to ask me for proof that I moved such as bills for my HOA and to top it off they couldn’t refund me. For the “Executive” that’s pretty average nickel and dime gym if you ask me. Got the emails to prove upon request. Hit me up if they rooked you too!

Have been hearing about the illustrious Executive for years now and was excited to start swimming lessons this year for my 9 month old. The pool is freezing! His lips turned blue today and his teeth were chattering. I overheard the instructor say “the swim team is in Florida this week and they don’t heat the indoor pool when they are gone.” Excuse me?! What about the BABIES that are paying for swim lessons. But ok.. I figured hey it’s only a 30 minute lesson he will have a warm shower before we change him into dry clothes. After our first lesson we stood at the showers in the family changing area for 5 minutes - no hot water. Then I tried the women’s locker room - same story. We reported it to the guy at the front desk and he said “oh this is a known problem you have to run the water for at least 10 minutes.” So after our second swim lesson my husband left the lesson 10 minutes early to run the water (which feels environmentally irresponsible btw) and guess what, still no hot water! Can we get our money back? It looks like the sign on the front of the building is about to fall off and I have no idea why anyone pays money to come here.

Overall decent and fairly clean. My issue is with the Premium membership that gives only limited access to the outdoor pool as the priority goes to the Swim Team, not members.

(1) Value membership - Rather on the expensive side but plenty of machines that are available even in the afternoon hours. Clean and big enough locker rooms, plenty of parking space. Surprising benefit is the on-site complimentary health check.

(2) Premium membership - You have to upgrade (and logically pay more) to Premium to use the outdoor pool. Unfortunately nobody will tell you that the Swim Team uses 5 out of 6 lanes of the pool from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 8pm (sometimes even 9pm). In other words, as an adult who wants to go swimming outdoors and use the Premium membership after work, you can only one already crowded lane with a bunch of other adults, adjacent pool for kids or a splash pad. I find it surreal that the Swim Team gets a priority in the outdoor pool and everyone seems to think it is normal to pay for a pool that you cannot use after work. But I guess if all of the Swim Team members had to upgrade to Premium too, there goes easy money for the owner irrespective of how ridiculous it is. We are sucking the situation up for our kid but will cancel the Premium once we find a new pool that we can use and are not paying to watch the Swim Team swim.

Our daughter took swim lessons here. The instructor was great. But the pool is FREEZING, especially for the younger kids. Our friends did warn us about this, so we kinda expected it, but honestly we’re surprised at how cold it actually was!!! It is definitely disappointing because we would continue to go to swim lessons here if the pool was warmer. We expressed this to our instructor and she even said she was surprised they kept it so cold with babies in the pool… our daughter’s lips would literally turn PURPLE. Needless to say we couldn’t participate in the full 30 minute lesson.

This facility has a terrible attitude towards kids. They block out the gym every morning for 2 hours prior to school for their “men’s league” so kids who would wake up and practice are out of luck- yet if you ask about bringing a group of kids in they say “oh we can’t block off the court”.
So they bend over backwards for 50-60 year olds, but won’t move an inch for kids.
Shameful and reprehensible. Find another gym, place needs a complete overhaul anyway

Make you jump through hoops just to get a price: for two adults it’s $250/month for the premier, or $190/month for the value. Plus initial membership fee of $250, and annual fee of $75. Gym prices should be right on the website.

We have been asking management for three years to fix the WiFi in the downstairs fitness area—there’s no cellular service, so working WiFi is a must.

The gym is okay overall, but it could be cleaner, especially in the men’s locker room, sauna, and steam room. With some improvements, it could be a much better experience.

Having been members of this gym for over a decade, it truly feels like a second home where my children are not just growing, but thriving. Throughout our tenure, we've never encountered any issues. The fact that many staff members have been with the club for years speaks volumes about employee longevity, adding to the sense of familiarity and trust. The health club offers an array of programs tailored to both fitness and fun, from a wonderful swimming club to engaging tennis programs and an exciting summer camp. This place is an absolute gem!

We were traveling on business and had an early morning flight out of Manchester. Our overnight stay at the Executive was very good. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They no longer have a shuttle service but use a Lyft service in it's place. The only negative comment is that they forgot our wakeup call. Fortunately, we were awake so no harm done. We would recommend the Best Western Executive Hotel for your personal or business travel needs.

I just want to say "too bad" because there could be potential. We've had a family membership for almost 3 years. My husband always complains about the price (almost $300/mo for our family plan with child care) age of equipment (many machines are out of use for extended periods of time), overall cleanliness but I've convinced him to stay for the kids, and because our live-in au pair has been included on our family membership and can take our kids to swim year round. Now they've "changed the rules" and want us to pay a separate membership for her which they offered to me at an additional $150/month. Easy cancellation decision after that. Definitely not worth the price, good luck!

Tennis area needs a major overhaul. Those three courts need new lighting, a good cleaning and a resurface especially for players that have leg and foot issues. Other problem is the track surrounding the courts and basketball court adjacent to the tennis courts. When there are important matches going on , those areas need to be quiet.

Palace of a facility - but they have plenty of members, don’t need new ones, won’t return calls, and only respond if you show up in person. Not a friendly place, can’t imagine how hard it would be to cancel a membership.

Only does full year contracts, “because of covid” in February of 2023. Unable to do day passes, class passes, or anything less than one year. Go to the Zoo Health Club around the corner - the staff / owners are friendly, and happy to see you.

Easily one of the best gyms in the Manchester area, free weights usually aren’t too busy. The pool is ridiculous though and completely dominated by the swim teams there are never any open lanes for my fiancé. Besides the pool this gym is great; equipment is always in working order, haven’t had anything stolen out of my locker, everything is clean and staff is super friendly. Fix the pool issue though, ridiculous to pay extra for an outdoor pool just to have the swim team out there every day dominating the entire pool.

I was a guest of a member several times. I had met with a member coordinator to explore the possibility joining myself and finding a rate or plan i could afford.
Alas i could not.
We got to talking more in depth and I asked why the rates are so excessively high in addition to the extra charges that come up with various services. She revealed that its to discourage "certain kinds of people" from joining. And essentially so their current member base wont have to share a gym with undesirables.
So there you have it. They hate poor people, and they know someone on a budget would never be able to fathom being a part of this gym. Deplorable. Also i agree with all the complaints about swim teams monopolizing the pool. The members paying their ridiculous rates should have pool priority.
Do these people even read these reviews?

Facilities are what you'd expect for a 'higher' end health club. Family changing rooms are a bit dirty, with dust left in place. However, the BIGGEST issue with this club is the lack of availability of swimming time. The swim schedules are almost totally dedicated to their swim teams, at the times that a regular paying member is able to swim I.e. before/after regular working hours. During the Winter, the swim teams dominated the indoor pool and now it's Summer, it's the same with the outside pool. There is growing discontent amongst the regular members and manager ignores the issue. The poor front desk must be sick of hearing the complaints.
By the way, the review 2 or 3 prior to this (Justin Benton) is from the actually Manager. That probably says it all!!
If you want to join for the swimming, think twice and start looking at the other pool options, now that Covid is passing.

Basic membership is $100 plus. If you want to use anything else like tennis, you have to pay extra, if you wanna use a towel you have to pay extra, there’s extra for everything to the point you get scared to use the bathroom.
The biggest embarrassment is if a friend comes to visit and you’d like them to come with you then you have to pay.
This place is literally 5 minutes away fro my house. However, I choose to go to a very far gym which is a lot better. You cam bring a friend anytime and that won’t be an issue, you. An use all the towels you need at no extra charge.
Conclusion, if you really want to throw your money at a gym full of kids, since it’s more of a family gym, unprofessional staff like Michelle, who got really mad when I refused to pay extra for the stuff she offered, then this is your gym.
It’s been about a year since I canceled my membership but what I heard from my friend recently about this gym, made me leave this review.

I just stopped in to use the bathroom (left my driver's license due to previous issues as stated by employee) and from what I've seen, the place has a pool, gym, and handball courts, as well as some exercise bikes. Not too bad for $85 a month

Don't do it! I'm giving one star because you can't give 0 God forbid you have a change in your life and you are unable to pay their ridiculous monthly free anymore. I had no warning, but gave them notice as soon as I knew I could not afford to go there anymore. Unfortunately, they have a 30 day cancellation policy that they will not make exceptions for. I was told they would look into it, see what they can do to help, even asked me for my card number to put the money back on. A week later, still nothing, I email over and over only to get the same run around answer, we are doing all we can. 2 weeks later I'm angry, my bills are bouncing, had to close my bank account to stop the fees. I'm getting late fees on top of bank fees, all over $192 that they can afford to refund but refuse. Don't go there unless you plan 30 days ahead to have a life changing event.

This has been my gym for years and I absolutely love everything about it. From the peaceful and well equipped environment, to the employees, to cleanliness, to hours of operation, plus very kid friendly, this is my gateway in the city. A place to workout hard but also make friends and relax!

One of the best clubs around for tennis. They have 3 indoor courts and an online reservation system. The premier membership includes indoor court time. So, if you think you'll be playing a lot, it's definitely worth it. They have three pros (at least) and a good amount of classes. They have free ball machine classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. At other times, the ball machine is pretty cheap to rent. They also have an active tennis community.

In general, for pluses, they have a lot of facilities. Indoor and outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor hot tub, racquetball, cardio machines, spinning, weights, classes, family changing rooms, a bar/restaurant, a little snack area. They have golf pro shop and a little clothing store. The location is also excellent. Also included with the premier membership are a host of outdoor summer classes and activities.

For minuses, they are a bit more expensive than the Y,. Food is ok, not great. Tennis reservation system could be improved. A lot of times during prime hours tennis courts are booked for lessons. No kids work out area. When I joined, they told me they were building one, but it doesn't look like they've made any progress.
