About the Club

We are a gym that focuses on fostering a cooperative atmosphere with lots of camaraderie between members. We have a wide variety of people lifting with us but the common theme between our members is a common goal to be stronger. Seeing others push as hard as they can and reach their goals is inspiring and that keeps our members engaged and motivated.

We are 24/7/365. Drop ins are $15. Memberships can be purchased on our website.

The gym is dedicated to providing high quality powerlifting equipment. We have three Monolifts, 5 combo racks, and every variety of specialty bar including 32mm squat and 27mm deadlift bar competition bars. We have regular iron and a large amount of calibrated kilo competition plates.

Great gym with lots of weights, everyone there is super friendly. If you’re there you can play your own music over the speakers!

The best gym in New Hampshire! No frills (good), no staff (good), just weights and good people.

A great gym with a great environment and almost any equipment you could need as a powerlifter with plenty of options for strongman competitors and those from other lifting disciplines as well. As a nationally competitive strongman it is my primary training gym for over 90% of my workouts throughout the training season and in general.

The gym is full of helpful people from the owners, to the various crews that train together there regularly, and just about anyone else you will meet in there. Nearly everyone is willing to help you or spot you as needed. I can’t say enough nice things about them all.

My hope is that reading this will influence you in trying the gym out and meeting some of the people there hopefully to find a place to fit in and get very strong.

Friendly and supportive crew, a genuine community of strength enthusiasts. Spend time here, it will shift your perception of what's humanly possible. It's one thing to see a video of Halfthor or Dan Bell moving insane weights on your phone, it's another thing to actually witness someone Deadlift 780lbs or Squat 1,000. The gym is focused primarily on powerlifting, but also has some strongman equipment and competitors here as well. If you want to get fit, there's plenty of options around, but if you want to get STRONG there's no better gym in New Hampshire.

Excellent barbell club. The best community. I have made so many friends at Free State. It is the most friendly, welcoming, supportive, and fun training crew in New Hampshire. Everyone supports everyone and has fun. We have people aged teens through 50s training together. All the equipment you want is here.

The best gym I’ve ever been apart of. I lived in Manchester, New Hampshire for a year and this gym is the thing I miss the most about living there. It’s the place you want to be if you live in New Hampshire and want to get stronger.

Best gym in southern NH. Friendliest and nicest people with all the specialty bars you could ask for. I definitely benefit from the club element and have made many close friends from the gym. I have been going to FSBBC for 3+ years and never want to leave

My home gym. Whether powerlifting, bodybuilding, crossfit, strongman, or general fitness, everything can be achieved here. They have a lot of specialty equipment and bars, as well as dumbbells up to 150. The gym is 24/7 with a key code and a very low monthly cost. The other lifters are very welcoming and always helpful.

Started at FSBBC in late December. They have every piece of equipment you could think of for powerlifting. Beyond that, the owners are so knowledgeable and go above and beyond with helping people. Would recommend this gym to anyone-beginner or advanced lifters. They truly have a great spot!

Got all the stuff for whatever you're training for. Strongman, powerlift, general I want to excercise and work odd hours. Yes it's 24 hours and there are great people who work out here who are personal trainers too.

This is a powerlifter's dream gym with tons of deadlift platforms, squat racks, bench presses, and the essential accessories like a leg extension, leg press, tons of heavy and light dumbells, and much more. Along with an awesome owner, community, and a reasonable price, and no contract payments with no strings attached per month

Perfect training atmosphere for beginner and elite lifters alike, they have nearly every piece of equipment you could possibly need for high level training, including multiple standard bars so whatever Powerlifting Ruleset you are preparing to compete under, they have the bars that allow you to prepare for GameDay.

Great facility with awesome energy! All the equipment a hardcore lifter would need, and a welcoming environment. The communication from Wayne the owner was prompt and excellent. This will be my go-to gym when I visit New Hampshire.
