When I first joined Fuel, I wasn’t sure what to expect I just knew I wanted to level up my workouts and try real strength training. Wow… I was so impressed from the very first class! The coaches showed me exactly how to do everything the right way.

I even came in with a knee injury, and they were right on top of it. They helped me build strength safely without ever aggravating it again.

This place is seriously so much fun, and I feel stronger than I ever have before!!

I joined fuel about one year ago and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Before Fuel my workout routine was very inconsistent and was mostly random things I found on the internet. I wasn’t seeing any results and I knew I wanted to make some serious life changes. I joined fuel to hopefully start a consistent and effective workout routine, lose weight, and to overall improve my health.

Joining fuel was one of the best things I could have done for myself as it has far exceeded my expectations! Not only do I feel healthier overall but I have lost 40 lbs since joining!! I have been consistently going to fuel twice a week for the past year and it has changed my life. I have more energy, I am sleeping better, I feel much more comfortable in my clothing, and I am overall more confident!!

Joining Fuel has been the best choice I have made for my health, both physical and mental. I joined in August 2025 after seeing a friend join. I had been focused on a lifestyle change in 2025 and was trying to include the missing puzzle of regular exercise. As a full time working Mom of 3 littles, finding the time on my own was unsuccessful and honestly I was finding it difficult to self motivate to create a routine. I wanted to be stronger and feel comfortable with who I saw in the mirror again. I wanted to be able to go hiking and not need a week to recover, and to keep up with my active kids.
I contacted FUEL and heard back from Matt so fast, and set up my first trial class. From the moment I stepped into FUEL I was greeted by name by the coaches and given a warm welcome. They all took time to get to know me and my workout history (or lack there of) and any injuries to modify my exercises. Every single coach I have worked with since I’ve started has been knowledgeable, supportive, and so much fun to workout with. They made my nerves disappear on the first day and continue to motivate me to come in for my workouts and to push me to levels I didn’t know I was capable of.
I am AMAZED. with the differences I feel and see in just about 3 months. I am stronger, I can feel that with being able to go up in weights and drop a band in my chin ups! I have lost 12 lbs since joining, my clothes fit better which has raised my self esteem greatly. I notice some muscles visibly in my arms and thighs too.
I know if I hadn’t joined FUEL and was attempting the solo workout journey I would NOT be seeing the results I see today. I love having the app to plan out my workouts two weeks ahead of time to stay consistent and avoid the excuse of “I don’t feel like it”. There have been days I don’t want to go but minutes after showing up the coaches and the other members often change my tune right around.
It is rare to join a facility and feel so instantly included and important. I love seeing my progress and also celebrating the progress of everyone around me. If you are reading this and are interested, I say DO IT, there is nothing to lose (except maybe some extra lbs) and so much to gain!

I joined Fuel in July 2024 after moving back to the area and wanting to find a welcoming, fun atmosphere to continue my fitness journey. I found that and more at Fuel. From the first class, the coaches have been nothing but supportive; always challenging me and pushing me to be my best. The workouts have great variety and the coaches are always there to provide corrections and modifications. Also the classes are FUN - loud music, good playlists, & amazing company. The members of Fuel are so welcoming and encouraging - I’m never not laughing during my workouts. I joined Fuel just looking to increase my strength - I’ve dropped 20 pounds, have never been stronger, and found a great community at the same time! I joined Fuel in August 2025 because I knew I needed a change. In my early 40s, I was constantly exhausted, struggling with sleep and brain fog. I wanted to feel healthier and stronger—not just for myself, but for my kids. Honestly, I could barely manage to take regular walks, so the idea of adding “one more thing” to my schedule as a full-time working parent felt daunting. I was hopeful, but also unsure if I could make it work.

But from the moment I walked in and met the trainers and other clients, I knew this place was different—in the best way. The warmth, energy, and genuine joy from everyone showed me this wasn’t your typical gym. The small class sizes mean my form is always corrected when needed, and I get the most out of every movement and rep. I have people cheering me on, encouraging me to push myself, and supporting me every step of the way. Even on the most draining workdays, the community spirit, interesting workout circuits, and amazing trainers keeps me going and helps me finish strong.

The workouts are thoughtfully designed to meet everyone where they are. Modifications are always offered, and the trainers are attentive, knowledgeable, and careful—I haven’t once injured myself.

A few months in, I’m already sleeping better, thinking more clearly, and feeling more mentally agile. My range of motion has improved, my belly has slimmed down, and I have more energy. Best of all, I now have time carved out each week that’s just for me. For one hour, three days a week, I get to show up, be supported, and not think about anything else. It’s like an hour of peace in my mind—and it’s incredible!

Between the people, the music, and the fun, engaging workouts, there’s so much to love at Fuel that keeps me coming back. The hour flies by, and I actually look forward to going.

I was introduced to Matt and Fuel by a girlfriend back in August . I took advantage of the 2 week trial membership and was so impressed with the coaches and work outs.
I had been recovering from an injury over the summer but was looking to get back into strength training program that also gave me a cardio component. I felt strong but really wanted to gain some endurance and stamina with my work outs.
Every coach I met my first 2 weeks, knew of my recovering injury and made sure to scale my work out appropriately . Constantly checking my status and giving me support to help move forward, strengthening and improving my abilities During the workouts you are coached and assessed to ensure great form. The skill set and knowledge these coaches bring to each workout is top notch . Plus they make even the toughest work outs fun and engaging . It’s so obvious these coaches want you to succeed. You always leave looking forward to your next class!
I am happy to report that since joining Fuel my injury is at 95% resolved. I have more strength and mobility and most important no pain. Fuel is a great way to begin your mornings, nothing but positive vibes and a healthy mindset to carry you through your day. This of course helps with mood and making healthy food choices. When you feel good you fuel good. The scale is moving in the right direction too!
Trying new things can be intimidating, but honestly Matt and his team have built something really special here. All ages, all body types just trying to do better, with the common goal of obtaining better health.

I joined Fuel in July with the goal of focusing more on weight training to support my weight loss—and Fuel has delivered that and so much more. Before this, I was at a gym that mixed cardio and strength, but I kept getting injured, especially with the heavier cardio like running. I needed something different.

My goal has always been to lose weight while building muscle, and Fuel has helped me do exactly that. The coaches are incredibly motivating and always make sure my form is on point. The workouts are as challenging as you make them, but the coaches push you to give your best without ever letting you fall short.

I’ve done CrossFit, personal training, weightlifting, and other sports, but Fuel Personal Training in Bedford is on another level. The space is spotless and modern with great equipment, and the trainers are extremely attentive. They are always checking posture, adjusting intensity, and making sure you get the most out of your workout. The class was challenging in the best way, and the curated cooldown with lighting and music was the perfect finish. Highly recommend!

Fuel Personal Training has been an incredible gym to restart my fitness and strength journey. I was apprehensive at the start but quickly confirmed it is what I was missing! All of the trainers are fantastic, very encouraging, and most importantly knowledgeable and supportive. They adapt quickly and listen intently. I have seen much improvement in my strength and now seeing some physical change as well. However, for me, the most important improvement has been the positive impact mentally. Prior to 2020 I had been working out with a personal trainer for 9 years. I never thought anyone or any gym could replace him. I was so wrong! I was in my best shape of my life and began the search for another place to achieve these goals ! I tried a bunch of places and It happened in February of 2024. I joined Fuel!!
I met Matt and Christina at Fuel personal training and I have never looked back. Matt was so kind and assured me that he offered what I was looking for and he was correct!
My strength and clothes are a sign it all works.
Every trainer at Fuel has taken the time to learn about Me. They help me to reach higher goals and want more. They are now friends!!! I have needed a few modifications at times and they are all on top of adjusting the Workout to accommodate me .
I find the App on my phone very easy and it keeps me accountable. I Workout at 5 am 3 mornings a week and there is never a time I have left not feeling better about myself.
I just achieved my 200 th class!!!
They have the cleanest, most up to date equipment and facility… and the friends I have made are second to none.
They offer healthy supplements and my next goal is to be part of their 8 week eat healthy program.

I have been a member at Fuel since it first opened and have known Matt, the owner, for some time. I trust his vision and method completely. From the start, I was impressed by the “can-do” attitude of every coach, which quickly gave me confidence in the program.

I began with two sessions per week, but it wasn’t long before I knew I wanted Fuel to be my primary source of movement and strength training. I increased to three days a week and have seen incredible results, gaining strength, muscle, and confidence while losing 15 pounds and building lean muscle under the guidance of the outstanding coaching staff.

I joined Fuel about 8 weeks ago to get ready for my wedding and I love it! I’ve tried other gyms but never stuck with it. The coaches are amazing and always so helpful. Classes are small so there is always a coach nearby if needed. I’ve been very comfortable at Fuel from the start, everyone was so welcoming. I didn’t check my starting weight but I feel amazing and I was able to fit in some jeans that I haven’t in a long time and my final dress fitting couldn’t have been any better. With my daughter’s wedding approaching I wanted to get back in shape. When Matt opened Fuel I was very excited to find a gym that I didn’t feel lost in. I didn’t have to wonder if I am doing things right or getting the best workout because their awesome coaches are on the ball! Even with injuries and bad knees they help modify things so I feel like I’m getting the most out of my workouts. My cholesterol is down, my core is stronger so my back pain is gone and I’m losing weight and getting much stronger. I don’t feel intimidated when I walk in the door. Everyone there is supportive and friendly. It is definitely the best investment I have made for my health. Fuel has helped me so much get back into a routine. I have been going for about 6 weeks and I am already down 11lbs! I signed up for the nutrition class as well. It was difficult for me to think about protein intake since I don’t eat meat, but the class has helped me so much with new recipes and different tips to help with that. I’ve been doing traditional strength training 3–5 times a week for years, but these classes showed me I was missing something.

The workouts are challenging, high-energy, and incredibly well-structured. Being pushed in new ways, gave me a serious full-body wake-up call — in the best way.

My name is Ken and I have been a member at FUEL since October of 2024. Before I joined FUEL my workout routine was non existent except for a few casual walks around my neighborhood. I was uncomfortable in my skin and not at all confident. I wanted to change those things.

I was terrified of the gym. I had no idea where to start or how to get the results I wanted. I was craving the change but I was afraid to ask for help. I stumbled upon FUEL and followed their social media. Within days I was contacted by the owner, Matt, and invited for a free trial. I was incredibly nervous but I could not refuse the offer. The first class at FUEL was tough, but with positive support from coaches and members alike, I was hooked.

Since FUEL has become part of my weekly routine, I have changed in ways I thought were impossible for me. I feel comfortable in my own skin, I have loads more energy, and I am generally happier. The physical change that FUEL and its coaches have helped me achieve has changed my life for the better. I have lost over 20lbs and have gained muscle definition.

My experience at FUEL has been excellent. I've learned to have more compassion with myself when I have tough days and celebrate my physical wins. The coaches met me exactly where I was at when I arrived to FUEL. They continue to do so today but also aim to push me to be better with each class.

Fuel is simply the best! I started 4 months ago. I am a stay at home mom who recently moved from out of state and was looking for both a place to get fit and be with some adults and meet new people. There are so many great things to say about this gym. The coaches are really wonderful. They take the time to get to know you and your strengths, weaknesses and what will work best for your body and adjust. The variety of equipment makes it really fun to try new things and learn new ways to push yourself. Being there is always one of my favorite parts of the week and I always look forward to class as opposed to dreading it. I can't recommend fuel enough, and even recruited my husband to join. If you are on the fence, just do it so worth it!

My name is Michelle. I joined Fuel in November 2024. I was recovering from two knee replacement surgeries and had not been able to exercise regularly for several years. I was looking to regain strength and get back to a regular exercise routine. I had worked out with Matt in the past. When he opened Fuel, I had just had my second knee replaced. I knew once I recovered, I would need him and his team’s expertise to get back into better physical condition. My first visit was challenging but really fun. I knew instantly that this was the place for me.

After four months of attending class twice per week, I was gaining strength. I now needed to revisit my nutrition habits. I enrolled in the nutrition program in March and have lost fifteen pounds. I have more energy and feel better than I have in a long time. It is nice to have my clothes not so tight anymore!

All of the coaches at Fuel are awesome! It is incredible that they know each member and accommodate any physical limitations that
one might have.

If you are thinking about joining, do not hesitate. The workouts are great, the coaches are great, and most importantly, getting stronger is great!

Before I started Fuel my fitness routine was a mix of basement workouts and running which got boring working out alone. When I stepped into Fuel I knew right from the start that this was the gym for me with the inviting community it has, amazing coaches, beautiful gym, amazing music, high energy, basically all boxes were checked for me. My goals were to loose around 20lbs due to having my two daughters, build strength, and gain a community. My experience with Fuel has been nothing but perfect. My experience at Fuel has been nothing short of amazing. I really don’t even know where to begin. As a veteran who hasn’t been to any type of gym in over 25 years, I was skeptical at first. My wife attends and would come home and tell me about her workouts that particular day. She kept pushing me to give it a try, so after a month or so I agreed to give it a shot. I was nervous as hell, not really knowing what to expect or how I’d do. My first class, the instructors greeted me and knew my name, were aware of my shoulder injury. They had a plan in place to alter my workout before I even showed up. That was in December. It’s May now and I look forward to each and every class I take. The gym itself is immaculate. The trainers/coaches are awesome. Each and every one of them are just amazing . They make the workouts fun and challenging. They’re always making sure that you’re in the right posture or doing the workout properly without making you feel embarrassed. Then there are the clients. Male/female. From high school aged to retirees. People of all shapes and sizes. In my own personal experiences there, they all push each other and motivate each other to better ourselves. Honestly I’d drive out of my way to come to Fuel. Since I’ve joined, I’ve lost 25 lbs. My energy level has skyrocketed and my confidence has shot through the roof. Highly highly recommend Fuel if you want to get in better shape and improve your health. This is coming from a guy who, at first, couldn’t do a reverse lunge without falling sideways but now has much better balance.

I joined Fuel after many solo failed fitness attempts. Going to the gym was painful and frustrating knowing I wasn't doing the right moves in the right ways to achieve my fitness goal. When I joined Fuel it was a breath of fresh air. A literal weight off my shoulders. The coaches and members were all so welcoming and kind. While I was staying active, I wasn’t seeing the results I was hoping for — especially when it came to weight loss and overall progress. I joined FUEL in August after failed attempts with different gyms and never seeing any progress because I had no idea what I was doing and just had no motivation. When starting at FUEL I was incredibly nervous but was welcomed by the kindest coaches and other members!

I joined Fuel two months ago in hopes to get back in shape after having a baby. I was a little over two years postpartum. I kept wanted to get back into working out but never found my way to the gym on my own. I needed that motivation and push. The scheduled workouts hold you accountable to go and the gym environment is fun and uplifting. The trainers and peers make you want to come back for more.

All the trainers work with you on your goals and push you to limits you never thought possible. My strength and energy has improved significantly. Two months ago, It was very difficult for me to start working out after not going to the gym for almost 2 years. With an upcoming wedding, it was definitely time for me to take back control of my health. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt at home. The team here is absolutely incredible. Once hitting my mid 50s my body starting changing in ways I really wasn’t happy with. I hadn’t been in a gym in almost 5 years and hadn’t done any real working out in well over a year. I had pretty much just figured “at my age” this was a good as it gets. After having some routine lab work done and seeing my cholesterol being borderline high; along with my clothes fitting tight, not feeling great about my body changes, etc. I knew I had to try to do something. My initial plan was to try several different gyms in the area and see what I liked best, but after one workout at Fuel, I knew this was the place that was going to help me make some positive changes for myself.

Since I hadn’t worked out in a long time and never tried anything like Fuel before, I was a little nervous at first, but that quickly went away. I cannot say enough positive things about all of the Fuel coaches; they are top-notch! The atmosphere in the gym is always positive and supportive; the energy is contagious; and the environment is always welcoming and upbeat.

When I first joined Fuel I was having some issues with my knee and all the exercises were tailored around that and my abilities. All of the coaches were aware and always asking me how exercises felt for my knee or giving me modifications.

All of the coaches know how/when to challenge me; and I always feel encouraged and supported by them. The coaches are with you every step of the way showing you what to do, tailoring exercises as needed, helping you with form, cheering you on, etc. Working with the Fuel coaches has been the motivation I have needed to help keep me going.

I also decided to join the 8 week nutrition program that Fuel offered, which a definite game changer for how I think about food and fueling my body. The program taught me ways to make simple and easy changes that have made a big impact! I have learned not only what actions to take, but also why they are important and how to implement them to build healthier habits. I have completely changed my eating habits and I feel so much better!

Between Fuel workouts and the nutrition program I have seen great changes. I have lost weight, my clothes fit loosely, I don’t feel bloated at the end of the day, my energy is greater and I feel empowered and stronger. And I’m happy to report my overall cholesterol is down over 60 points and my LDL is down 48 points!! I am definitely a better version of myself than when I first started at Fuel back in September!

Staying consistent with my workouts has been easy because I really enjoy going to Fuel and seeing/feeling the results! The supportive trainers, the amazing workouts, the welcoming atmosphere all make me look forward to going. From someone who had kind of throw in the towel on fitness and used my age as an excuse, I can say joining Fuel has been the best decision I have made for myself in a long time! I joined FUEL because I was trying to find the right fit for a work out atmosphere. Matt welcomed me in to try a couple classes. I immediately felt like this was “my place”. It had been quite a few years since I had a consistent fitness routine and now I have been consistently working out for almost 6 months and been happy doing it!

At FUEL, the coaches are second to none! They create a safe, fun loving environment while keeping you accountable to push yourself. I can honestly say I have a blast working out. The workouts are always different and creative which keeps me interested. I also love the music. The members are all supportive of each other. We are a team here at FUEL, basically. (friends too!☺️)

My goal was to get stronger and reduce and relieve my chronic back pain. I have gained a lot of strength and feel better physically. My joints feel better. I have shed 9 pounds and I am getting more toned month to month, and my clothes fit better! That’s a win!!

Accountability is key for me! I had signed on to go three times a week. I often wish it was 4 and some weeks I do, especially if I know I’ll be out of town. I just don’t want to miss out on any passes. The way that Matt has structured how the class passes work holds me accountable. What can I say…this place and the people in it are THE BEST!

I joined FUEL 3 months ago when I was 11 weeks postpartum. Truthfully, I wasn’t planning on committing to a workout routine so soon after having a baby, but I was hooked after the first class. So hooked that I’ve been working out at FUEL consistently 2x per week ever since. The workouts are fun and challenging. The coaches provide individualized modifications and know when to push me to do more. It’s also very clear how much the coaches care about each person’s progress because no matter who is coaching, they’re aware of modifications I might need and which weights I should go for.

My only goal when I joined FUEL was to rebuild my strength. 3 months in, I certainly feel stronger, but I also feel more physically and mentally energized, and my clothes fit differently which is a nice feeling for this new mom 😊.

If you are a seasoned gym rat, Fuel Personal Training will challenge you! But if you’ve never worked out, or haven’t worked out in a while, Fuel Personal Training is even MORE for you! I was active and fit in my 20s and 30s but became sedentary in my 40s and started to put on weight. When I turned 50 I joined a small gym “for women only” with a business model similar to the bigger gyms -- a circuit of machines and a score card to keep track of reps and weights, relying on self-motivation to show up and work out. While there were a few options to participate in one-on-one training sessions, there was minimal to zero coaching or focus on proper form. After a year of sporadic attendance, I had lost a few pounds but never really got stronger and I simply stopped going due to lack of motivation and results. The gym went out of business shortly thereafter due to low attendance and low client satisfaction.

Before I knew it, I was in my 60s, my BMI was approaching the upper limit of “overweight” and getting close to the threshold of “obese”. I was out of breath with minimal effort (climbing stairs or doing yardwork), I couldn’t get up off the floor without assistance, and I have painful osteoarthritis in my knees. In February 2024 I saw a random Facebook post shared by a former co-worker who just so happens to be Matt’s aunt. He was opening a new gym promoting personalized training with small classes tailored to each client’s abilities. And coincidentally, was located in the exact same location as my former gym, next to the Bedford Post Office.

I started training at Fuel on their first day in March 2024 and after two weeks I was hooked. In the beginning everything was hard because I was starting from ground zero. I had terrible balance, no muscle strength, and little stamina. I was out of breath after 10 jumping jacks, it took two hands to barely move one battling rope, I had to hold onto the sides of the treadmill for anything faster than a walk, I really struggled with 10 lb dumbbells, 8 kg kettleball two-armed swings were near impossible, and I couldn’t even get into a bear crawl stance, much less actually crawl in that position. I committed to working out three mornings a week and now, 8 months and 101 sessions later, here’s how it’s going: I can run on the treadmill hands-free, I’m up to 20 and 25 lb dumbbells, my one-armed kettleball swings are at 14 kg, I can do a farmer’s carry with a 20 kg kettleball in each hand, and battling ropes are now my favorite. Bear crawl? No problem! I love the rower, the skierg, the versa-climber, and can easily do 50 jumping jacks. I’ve lost just over 20 pounds, my belt is two holes tighter, I can sit on the floor and stand up without assistance, my flexibility and stamina are so much better, and most importantly I am so much stronger! No problem carrying two 40-lb boxes of kitty litter from Target!

What's made the difference? For me, in a word: MOTIVATION – from the coaches as well as from the members who are in my classes (thank you!). The coaches at Fuel are truly THE BEST. They know you individually. If you have limitations they accommodate YOUR needs (like always getting me a box for elevated pushups) and before every exercise circuit they demonstrate the different levels of intensity and possible modifications. They know your potential, and when to encourage me to try that extra 5 lbs on the Viking press. With two coaches and a max class size of 8, the amount of personal attention to proper form and safety is unparalleled. Fuel Personal Training is FUN, intense, and incredibly rewarding. The music, like each exercise circuit, is high energy, the equipment is state-of-the-art, the facility is bright and clean, and they even provide towels while you working out. Classes are super easy to schedule on their app and you can sign up for time slots two weeks in advance. If you think you are too old or too out of shape, you’re not and you’ll have a whole support team ready to help you!!!

I joined Fuel in hopes of finding new sustainable lifestyle changes that I could stick with throughout all the curveballs of life. I have been to other gyms, spin studios and transitioned to Peloton classes at home with some success, but no consistency because I would get bored. A chronic illness sometimes sidelines me for a few weeks and then getting back into a routine is so difficult. After a few setbacks with that I had gained some weight, was less active and overall just unhappy with my physical and mental health at that time, I needed to find something new and motivating.

The coaches at Fuel are the reason I keep coming back. They are friendly, funny, motivating and so caring for each client and where they are in their journey. There isn’t a class that goes by that the coaches don’t check in with me on how I am feeling and they come up with a plan that works for me and my knee (11 previous surgeries, so it needs some modifications). The workouts are HARD and FUN thanks to the thought that the coaches put into building them. I look forward to going there every time and you can feel the energy from the other clients that they do too.

I have been going to FUEL twice a week for a little over 2 months now and feel great. I have lost around 20 pounds, my clothes fit better, my energy is better but I think the most important piece is mentally I feel clearer. I have also been able to come off chemotherapy as a treatment for my chronic illness and back onto less aggressive medications, thanks to Fuel. When I was working out at home I would always stick to the lighter side of weights suggested because I didn’t think I could lift heavy things…but I can! Coach Tony is ALWAYS pushing me to go heavier and changing my weights in between sets and it has helped me so much. I enjoy going home to tell my boyfriend about what I did or how much weight I was able to push on a sled march.

The one thing about Fuel that I feel is different for me than other gyms/programs is I want to go there. It’s easy to book a class through the app, there are SO many options that can work with anyones schedule. The classes are small with 2 coaches so you get so much personalized attention and don’t get lost in the mix. Fuel is the best thing I have done for myself this year and I hope many more people get the chance to take the leap!

If you are nervous about starting a small gym like this, don’t be, it will change your life. I remember telling Matt before my first class that I was so nervous I wouldn’t be able to do the workouts, he assured me that I can and will do awesome. Fuel is for EVERYBODY and I truly think everybody would benefit from attending. I am so thankful for finding them and everyone that is a part of the Fuel family, they are helping me hit goals that felt unattainable and have made working out fun again!

Fuel is one of a kind. I only wish I had joined sooner. I have tried every kind of gym, from Planet Fitness to a one on one personal trainer, but I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. My experience with Fuel in the past several months has been amazing. I’ve done workout programs in the past, that have all been effective, however Fuel is a different vibe. After my previous gym closed, I needed this vibe.

I joined after reaching out to owner/coach/trainer Matt S. through a mutual connection to get a sense of what I’d be getting myself into. We talked about my previous experience in exercise, brief medical/injury history and right away I was invited to try a workout, and offered a 7 day trial, with waiver signature of course.

Being retired military, former CrossFit junkie, and borderline knucklehead, my body has quirks and injuries that are beyond repair; for Fuel that didn’t matter. Workouts are adjusted to your abilities/capabilities without pressure and in a welcoming team environment. Each and every coach is aware of your injuries and will not let you further injure yourself with movements that may be that result.

Fuel has changed my everyday life choices. I joined about 4 months ago, and it has been the best decision I made in a very long time. The coaches are professional and motivating. Since joining, I have lost a solid 10lbs, but it's not about weight loss for me. It's the desire to be consistent with something that is part of a healthy lifestyle. I started at Fuel the first week of March and I really cannot express how much I actually ENJOY working out. I am currently down 20lbs since I started and more importantly feel stronger and have more energy throughout the day. The workouts are different each day and every month there is a new program to make sure different muscles are being utilized. I really enjoy the small class sizes and the trainers are all AWESOME! It’s been difficult for me to focus on strength in the past because I have a medical condition that affects my spine and need to be very careful on my lower back when lifting. I told Matt my first day about it and every class I have been to since, all of the trainers knew without me having to remind them. The trainers always offer modifications for each exercise depending on abilities/past injuries and ensure good form when working out to avoid further injury. It truly is a personalized experience and I am so happy to be a part of the Fuel family!

I joined FUEL in Feb. 2024 as I was looking for some consistency in my workouts in achieving my fitness goals - overall health as I get older & to assist in some of my other activities/sports.

FUEL's programs/coaches/schedules have been great. The programs vary so they never get stale. The coaches are always right there to insure that I am doing the exercise correctly & maximizing the effort while insuring that any injury potential is avoided.

RESULTS: Since Feb. I am down 14 lbs & >5% BMI, more importantly my energy level is much higher.

Before I joined fuel my workouts were inconsistent and lacked a plan for overall growth. I would go into the gym with no idea what to do and where I was the last time. I would work out too hard and hurt myself or not enough and feel like I gained nothing. What I needed was a consistent plan that would help me grow my strength and stamina long term, drop those 10-15 pounds I wanted to lose, and someone there to push me along the way.

After a recent physical and receiving a diagnosis of being prediabetic with high blood pressure my wife and I discussed me joining a gym to help lose weight and get back into a reasonable heath status. I started looking around for the best fit for my needs. When I found out about Fuel, I reached out to Matt and discussed my needs not only for the previously mentioned but also my physical limitations/ restrictions from past surgeries. Matt reassured me the gym is focused on smaller groups led by certified trainers that have the ability of modifying the exercises to fit my physical limitations. We discussed my goals of not only losing the weight but helping to strengthen the areas affected from the surgeries. Since joining the gym, I have dropped 25 lbs. in under 2 months, gained a lot of energy back and the big plus is the way I feel in general. The coaches have lived up to everything Matt had promised, and I can't thank him and the coaches enough for all the assistance and time they have put into modifying and helping me along the road to reaching my goals. Fuel is not anything like other gyms I have gone to in the past. The staff goes out of their way to make you want to be there. They encourage, push and are genuinely great people to be around. The group I work out with at 5am also make it a great place to be. I would recommend putting any reservation aside and give Matt, the staff and the Fuel crew a chance for anyone looking to get back into shape. I have always gone to big box gyms where it’s overwhelming and not an inviting atmosphere. I never knew where to start and only did the things I knew how to do(which was not a lot). Fuel is hands down the best workout experience you could ever hope for. Before starting at Fuel I partially tore my rotator cuff at a CrossFit gym. I struggled after my injury getting modifications for exercises that bothered my shoulder. There was only one coach and sometimes it was hard to get their attention during the workout. When I modified things on my own based on how I felt that day I would be told that wasn't the workout that was written. As a result I started skipping classes if the workout had a movement that would bother my injury. Because I was inconsistent with my attendance, virtually every day felt like the first day and I just felt beat up. I regularly ended up with the same exercises on repeat either because that's what my coach knew or that was the only thing I could think of so I was overworking other parts of my body. Not only was I frustrated by this, it felt like I was an island left navigating things on my own. When I heard Matt was opening Fuel I immediately was curious. Everything Matt described from the personalization of the programs, the modifications for injuries and the support of the coaches was exactly as described if not better. Each session that I attended I had a friendly and supportive coach who came to me ready with a plan for my workout - I didn't have to look around and see if I could flag someone down to help. Not only that the coaches checked in during the exercises to see how I was feeling, making me feel like I had a partner in keeping me safe. Above all else form is truly prioritized here, and the coaches also factor in my specific range of motion. Sadly I've moved out of state and in my quest to find something closer to where I now live I've realized Fuel is a unicorn. In addition to all these things I've mentioned, I've discovered that not every gym gives you a thorough warmup, explanation and demonstration of each exercise you're about to do, tells you the equipment you'll need and makes appropriate weight suggestions, and has a cool down. Fuel is truly raising the bar with what you should come to expect in your fitness journey.

Life changer! I joined FUEL to “lose weight” as I’ve tried everything else, but it soon became so much more than that. For the first time in many years …I can run up the stairs and not feel winded, I can bend over to tie my sneaker and be able to breathe while doing it, I can get up from sitting quickly and with no pain, I have energy to walk my dogs everyday, I’ve completely lowered my blood pressure, I can carry a full laundry basket up the stairs and I sleep better. While these things seem small to most, they can be harder when you’re overweight. After many years of putting my children first and neglecting myself, it was my turn. FUEL has given me the confidence, knowledge and encouragement I needed to start and continue this journey. The trainers are truly amazing as are all the other members! There is no judgement as everyone has different fitness levels and goals. I actually look forward to every session. After a few months of building muscle, endurance and strength, my clothes fit a bit differently and some weight is starting to shed. More importantly, FUEL has got me looking beyond the scale and has helped me improve my quality of life. The rest is falling into place. Even after the toughest workout you will leave with a smile knowing you just did that for yourself. I can’t thank Matt, Austin, Luke, Christine and Tony enough. You guys are awesome!

I became a member of fuel at the start of March when it had just opened. The idea of having classes with at most 8 people and a coach to help you through the workouts intrigued me.

What I didn’t expect was how welcoming the environment was. As someone who is overweight and has been all my life, the gym setting was always a place where I felt insecure. Fuel is a space that is welcoming to all body types, all ages, and varying athletic abilities. I don’t feel judged and I have noticed such a difference 3 months in.

The coaches are supportive, encouraging, and listen to your needs if you’re unsure about a workout. They put in the effort to modify the workouts to accommodate everyone’s abilities and you never feel like you’re behind anyone else. I can’t recommend this place enough to people.

I joined Fuel Personal Training because I was looking for small group workouts that included strength training and cardio. I’ve attended a handful of classes before the official opening and I am loving it! When you walk in, you will immediately feel welcomed. Every coach has been so encouraging and keeps me on track by making sure I’m doing the exercises correctly and feeling the right muscles working. It’s been a game changer! I love the variety of exercises and equipment. My goal is to gain muscle and tone the areas that are proving to be a bit challenging.

I’ve been to a lot of the different gyms in southern NH and this one is my favorite. Great smaller class sizes compared to a bigger boot camp style gyms. Amazing coaches here who can give more 1 on 1 attention to the members while they work out. Great place if you like group strength or HIIT classes. Also, brand new hi-end equipment like the Tank sled and resistance cable machine. Highly recommended !
