It was a year after I had a full knee replacement and I knew I had to get back to my strength training program, but was hesitant and nervous to start. Luckily I found Great Bay Strength & Conditioning! Eric was so kind and welcoming and made me feel incredibly at ease. His directions were thoughtful and he didn't hesitate to make modifications to boost my confidence and get me to the next level. Most of my small class personal training sessions were with Mike who combined just the right amount of challenges and awareness of how far I could push myself without getting discouraged. (His laugh alone was worth the class!) If you're nervous about getting back to it or even starting from square one, I would not hesitate to recommend GBSC. An awesome and supportive community that will help you reach your fitness goals.

I joined GBSC about a year and a half ago and it has been a fantastic experience. Eric and the rest of the coaching staff are super knowledgeable and personable. They've created an awesome community at the gym that keeps everyone coming back. The workouts are well structured and allow you to progress at your own pace with the advice and encouragement from the coaches. Great Bay has been a constant for my wife and I over the past 10+ years. A lot of the people we have met have become our very close community. We have been able to navigate our fitness journey throughout the changes in our life and as we build a family of our own. The gym offers lots of encouragement, motivation and challenges you to keep moving even during the busy parts of your life. Eric and coaches meet you where you are at and focus on safe/efficient movements. Would highly recommend giving it a shot if you want to get into a consistent fitness routine!

Great Bay S&C has been part of my weekly (near daily) routine for over 7 years. It is an inviting low pressure place to stay fit and there is always great camaraderie with the other excellent members of the gym! The coaches are knowledgeable and always assist with tailoring workouts to personal abilities. This is great for people just starting a fitness journey and also has been helpful for me as a gym member during recovery from a couple fairly harsh "active lifestyle" injuries. The guidance and suggestions offered by Eric, Mike and the other coaches at GBSC were a key part of fully returning to my prior fitness level in these cases, allowing me to get back to doing the activities I love! Cannot recommend enough!!

I’ve been a member of Great Bay Strength for over 10 years. Over that time, I’ve made amazing gains in strength, conditioning and all-around fitness. I can honestly say I’m stronger and fitter now than I was when I was 30 years younger!
The thing that sets this gym apart from others is the coaching and the community. Eric has built a supportive, inclusive and close-knit community where everyone is welcome. The coaching staff is outstanding and knowledgeable about fitness, proper technique, and nutrition. The people are awesome, and have become good friends both inside and outside of the gym. I look forward to the comradery and banter every morning, the relationships I’ve formed over many years, and the challenge of competing against some incredible athletes. There’s no better way to start my day. I would highly recommend GBSC to anyone looking to improve their fitness and meet great people.

GBSC has become a home away from home. I would by no means describe myself as a gym rat; and never had success at traditional gyms. Eric and his team has made this a great place to work on myself in a safe space while focusing on good technique and avoiding injury. I have been a member at Great Bay Strength & Conditioning since 2020, and I can say with 100% conviction that it has transformed my life. I have always been into fitness through weightlifting, distance running, etc., but when I found GBSC it gave me a completely new perspective and experience. When I moved to the NH seacoast a year ago, I needed a place to workout. After 1:1 evaluation with owner Eric Morris, I began his semi-private approach to strength training. This is a small group format with individually designed workouts. Eric and/or his training partners are on hand each class to provide instruction, motivation and safety assurance. Any physical challenges are met with positive support and workout adaptation. I’m very happy I found this gym! GBSC is an awesome, fun environment in which to take care of yourself and progress your health goals. 10 stars!

I have been at GBSC since 2015, only leaving when I moved away but rejoined as soon as I moved back to the seacoast. I am a teacher and mother of 2 toddlers. It’s always been a challenge for me to create the time for myself and to fuel my body for the life I want. I joined GBSC because Eric is an expert in his field and he is passionate about his gym community. GBSC has supported me through being an athlete out of college, to weight management, strengthening, postpartum and now pregnancy. I have found that I can attend any class and I am supported with whatever my needs and my goals are. Since joining GBSC, I’ve learned how to create goals and plans for myself in whatever season of life I am in. I am continually learning at GBSC whether it be about functional movements, time management, goal setting or nutrition. I highly recommend GBSC for anyone who is looking to join a supportive community of trainers and members and to improve upon their health and fitness lifestyle.

I hadn't been in a gym for 25 yrs, then joined Great Bay a few years ago, and have been thrilled to go every week since. The coaches are really supportive, knowledgeable and meet you at your level. It's an excellent place for beginners to the well seasoned and for all ages. Lots of options for classes and can focus on what works for you. Join, you won't regret it.

I've been going to GBSC for about 10 years now. It is by far my favorite gym I have ever been to. The classes are great. Eric programs workouts that are both fun and challenging. He offers modifications on all of the workouts so anyone can take part in them.
He has built a great community at GBSC. Everyone is so friendly and always cheers everyone else on. This is the only gym I have been to where I actually look forward to working out!

I can't recommend Great Bay enough! This gym has been a game-changer for me. Not only did it help me cross train and remain injury free while training for 3 marathons, but it has also been a key part of supporting my health and fitness throughout my pregnancy. I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and still able to go to the gym regularly, all thanks to their tailored approach to training. I was never consistent with my fitness and struggled with finding something I enjoyed to stay active until I started with GBSC. My husband and I started going during Covid and we were welcomed into a friendly and motivating community! We’re both shift workers so we enjoy the variety of options available to members depending on their needs. It’s clear that Eric, Mike, and the other coaches love what they do! I really enjoy working out at Great Bay Strength. There are tons of class time offerings, which helps with my varied schedule and the various membership options work well for me too. Eric and all the trainers are super knowledgeable, they always provide great insights on the workouts and key-in on form cues and corrections (which often make the movements more difficult, but I know I’m doing them right and getting the most out of each movement). Each workout is different and I leave class energized after each visit. They also do a great job of helping to scale and tailor each workout to my ability level. I highly recommend this gym.

Eric Morris runs this gym and is truly amazing. My wife and I joined about a year ago and we go 2-3 times a week. He introduced us to the equipment and set us up with a rudimentary workout. Every month, we graduate to a slightly more difficult workout. Each workout lasts 45-50 minutes, starting with stretching, followed by 6 different exercises, and culminating with an aerobic workout. Over time, we’ve gotten to know other clients during our workout time; some have been clients since Eric opened. His assistant trainer, Mike, is also fantastic. We love this place!

I have been coming to this gym for over 8 years now - I have been to a few other CrossFit gyms in the area prior and this gym has been the best. Eric is very knowledgeable about exercise and nutrition and he programs workouts for all abilities so that everyone gets what they need. The environment in the large group workouts is very positive and welcoming which makes the workouts fun while being challenging. I've been working Eric and the trainers at Great Bay for nearly 5 years now. I came from a traditional gym just lifting weights and running on the treadmill for the previous 15+ years. Switching to a strength and conditioning gym has completely changed my outlook on working out. Staying Active in a strength and conditioning club, can be a challenge. Staying with it when you’re over 60 requires something special.
For several years I have been a member of Great Bay Strength and Conditioning. I have always been encouraged and supported, but never pushed to the point of, “Too much”.
As I change they change, working with me to develop and maintain the same types of proven techniques, processes and challenges needed to have a result based workout, but in a way and level that provides benefit not excess pain.
I did get healthier, I am staying healthier and because of the individual involvement of the trainers, I am staying with the program. I want to go to Great Bay Strength.

I started going to Great Bay Strength and Conditioning when I moved to the area 7ish years ago. The workouts and community have helped me get and stay healthy through several marathon training cycles, 2 pregnancies and now 2 postpartum build backs. Eric and the entire staff are supportive and really helpful when it comes to personalizing the workouts to your fitness levels and desired goals. I have never once felt like a workout wasn't geared towards me thanks to the staffs ability to rework certain movements for my body and current fitness level. Great Bay Strength is my happy place. I first met Eric three years ago during a drop-in class. Prior to that, my physical activity had been limited to city walking and bus chasing, so stepping into a strength and conditioning gym was quite intimidating. But that single class changed my life, and it jump started my journey to better health. Eric is a true leader in promoting a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all GBSC members. Workouts and movements can be modified as needed so that you never feel turned away from a class. I have been to lots of gyms and lots of classes, but once I landed at Great Bay Strength 12 years ago I stayed. It is a safe, warm and welcoming place that embraces everyone regardless of age or ability. At middle-age, I appreciated a tailored workout to get started and targeted some lingering injuries with Eric's recommendations, then added nutrition & eventually moved into scaled down group workouts.
