I can’t say enough good things about Action Kids! We have been coming here for 3 years and our children have had such a positive experience. The swim teachers are amazing, so friendly and patient! My littlest one is in the guppy swim class this spring and his teachers are so sweet!!! My daughter is doing gymnastics and her coach Mia is outstanding, she is so kind and patient. My daughter loves her and is already asking us to sign her up again soon!

This past summer, we had an absolutely terrible experience at Summer Camp here. My neurotypical child LOVED it here, but the staff was incredibly unprofessional with my autistic child. When my child was struggling, a staff member yanked on him and tried to pull him up and force him to come with her.
I spent a lot of time reading handbooks and researching summer camps before choosing one for my neurodivergent child. Their parent handbook says all the right things, but they do not follow their own protocols. Their handbook clearly states that another staff member would be called for support, and they would never put their hands on a child.
I wanted to share my experience, so other parents with a child like mine do not go through the same thing my family did.

No matter what program your child participates in and no matter the season, the team at Brentwood Common Gymnastics & Action Camp are fabulous, patient, and will never shy away from going the extra mile. The facility is impeccable, the parking ample, and its organisation is professionally done from top to bottom - there is even an electronic check in for the little ones!

This place is the best!! We've been going here for years and we love it, and our kids love it! The staff is so kind and they take time to make sure your kid is doing well. We do swim lessons here in the summer and gymnastics during the school season, and I can't wait for my kids to be old enough so they can attend the various night events and vacation week camps. We started my youngest at 7 months for swimming and 2-ish for gymnastics (honestly this could have been earlier, they just need to be able to walk decently well). You gotta register for things quick, however, as the spots fill up fast!

Wow! We couldn’t have been more happy with Action Kids Summer Camp! Our 5yo twin boys absolutely loved the program! I was so impressed with the variety and amount of fun activities they had planned for the kids. And the fact that they get swim lessons every day is HUGE! Our boys started camp having only been in a pool 2 or 3 times and left at the end of the summer pretty much able to swim. So cool! The boys fell in love with so many of the counselors and loved coming home to tell us about them and all the fun silly songs they learned at camp too. The director, Rebecca, was fabulous! She's very communicative, thoughtful, understanding & helpful! We had such a positive experience, we will definitely be back next summer! Thanks to everyone there for their hard work to give all these kids such a fun magical summer!!! :) ~ Jamie

Action kids summer camp is the BEST summer camp experience your child could get! The staff are experienced, trained well and genuinely enjoy their job. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I never once felt uncomfortable leaving my son in Action Kids care. The structure of the camp and the activities is second to none. Every week is a fun theme and every day has something a little special in it. The activities remind you of “back in the day” summer camps, like making s’mores or archery. Through this summer camp I have also witness my soon to be first grader learn so many skills, from playing sports or making necklaces to walking into a room of new people and feeling truly confident to introduce himself. We have found a place that we will continue to go to for summer camps and beyond. They work hard to make sure they can be proud of their services and I think they’ve done an excellent job. Can’t recommend Action Kids summer camp enough!

Over a month ago we completed swim lessons here. I wanted to finally leave a special note for our instructor, Coach Sam. My daughter still asks occasionally "where is Coach Sam"! She made a lovely impact on my daughter. Her swim skills flourished after the lessons ended as well. Coach Sam was extremely kind, professional, fun and is an asset to this business.
