My grandson had a basketball tournament here our court got changed. They put us in a court with no seats a lot of elderly people came and they couldn’t even sit down. A few of them sat down on the floor. We asked for a bench. There were three benches on the other side of the court, and nobody came down to help us. They said they would send somebody down to move one of the benches and nobody showed up what a waste of money and time this place sucks. I’d be ashamed to have people running a place like this

So much stuff to offer! Cardio, weights, basketball, tennis, indoor pool....
By far, the best gym in the Concord area. Check it out for yourself and see!

They have the basics. Their big plus is indoor and outdoor pool. If you just want to work out on machines, play basket ball, tennis and go home. You’re all set. If you want to change and shower the lower locker rooms and shower area have no heat. Haven’t in two years. There’s no regular maintenance or cleaning. The carpet in the lower Adult mens locker room must be 20 years old. But… for the money no other area gyms have pools. We go for aquasize. User beware.
8/5/24 NOTE This establishment I think has changed ownership. So my original review may no longer apply. The facility had great potential. If you need a gym stop by for a visit and decide for yourself.

Was the best kept secret in Concord!! Was a Great place to bring the family swimming for the day! Now not so much..,new owners and staff (most of them anyway) are not really interested in providing friendly customer service or even decent service at all. Thoroughly disappointed in a place I’ve been a member of for decades…

The Health Club of Concord has been a great place for my friend group to learn and advance our skills at Pickleball. I have a large group of friends who wanted to learn how to play. HCC offered us lessons at an affordable price and also the court time to play. Their recent renovations of the pickelball courts will certainly bring next level play.

If that one mark still works there avoid the place at all costs. Very rude and seems like he hated interacting with people like it's a issue to ask a simple question. He usually works in the morning.

The conditions of this establishment are unacceptable, with mold, mildew, poor sanitation, and general deterioration. Additionally, their failure to compensate contractors like Nins Lawn Care, a small business owned by a veteran who provided snow removal services this past winter, only damages their own reputation. It is important to prioritize the individuals who contribute to the success of your business and uphold your promises of supporting veterans by fairly compensating them for their diligent work.

They don’t pay their invoices for veteran owned small businesses. If you don’t support that I would cancel your membership! Disgusting!

Won’t pay NINS for the work they did for them. Don’t support a business that screws over small businesses especially one owned by a veteran!

Never paid Nins Lawncare for the plowing season. I witnessed the parking lot being plowed during storms as I was in the plow truck.

When you don’t pay, a family loses out. Their bills don’t get paid. Not cool

Tons of improvements have been made since we joined in Jan 2023. We love coming here… sure, it’s in need of some improvements, but they are slowly but surely fixing things up. Staff is friendly and we love the pool/hot tub, our favorite place to work out and then unwind.

Went there today to play racquetball, no AC in the building it’s been broken for a month, at least. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable to the shortcomings of this place. Every place you look, from the men’s room showers, that have no soap dispensers that have been ripped off the wall. The steam rooms now hold old electrical equipment. The showers in the men’s room are disgusting. This place needs a total overall. The first indication that it’s been neglected is when you look at the outside of the building and see the green mold hanging off of the eaves of the building. The broken parking lot, then when you walk in with no AC in a workout facility, this place needs to be either torn down and rebuilt Or somebody with some seriously deep pockets needs to come in and update this entire facility.

I enjoy that there aren't many people in the weight room at 5 AM. There are people swimming and playing raquetball though.

The plumbing is a problem - the bathrooms at the far end have been out of service for at least 6 months, the sinks in main level men's locker room have been out of service for a month. and the water damage to the walls has not been repaired. ( the water damage occurred 2-3 months ago. they removed damaged wall board so mold isn't an issue - just gaps)

The equipment is still good.

The only positive are the pools. However, the mildew and state of disrepair inside are on another level. It just feels icky. The hallways, bathrooms, even the flooring. Needs a proper overhaul.

Absolutely love this place. You walk in they remember your name, everyone is so friendly and no judgements at all. Actually everyone is so supportive of one another. This is the best hidden gem in concord NH. It is a little outdated but I don’t need fancy things. It has working pool and machines with great people. That’s all I need.

If you really want to work-out this is the place. If you just want a show or to showoff find someplace else. Only down side is the poolside hot tub is broken and they don't plan to fit it

Bring my daughter here for swim lessons. She loves going each week and I'm very happy with her swim lessons here. They have a great big gym area for basketball, workout area and large pool. Everyone who I've come in contact or spoken with that works here is very friendly and nice to deal with. I'm satisfied and I'd be willing to look into a membership when I have the extra funds to do so. 1 small complaint my daughter has is it is chilly inside, especially the locker rooms. Of course she's in a swimsuit & wet so that makes it worse for her but I was chilly. Fully clothed and didn't go swimming. They do have several electrical heaters around the locker room & hallway. That made things a lot better and she was able to warm up faster with those little heaters. You can see they try to make people comfortable and happy WHICH IS A BIG PLUS!

Friendly staff. Nonjudgemental. Good hours for me. Did NOT like the sign up fee AND annual fee BOTH being charged. Reasonable to me would be a sign up fee and every year AFTER that the annual fee. Seems excessive.
Would like to see a members benefit of 5 guest passes per year. It would promote new members and be good pr.

This rate of one is for the fact that with 12 minutes till closing they don't pick up the phone,
They have change to VM.
If you're going to be open till 9pm then you answer the phone till 9 pm..... You know with all the poor reviews. maybe management & owners ssuch get together & put together a Capital Campaign to raise money to fix this place up???

It was so nice of this club to allow a high school swim meet to be conducted. It's a little hard to navigate if you don't know where you're going and there's a lot of ups and downs and twists and turns. Haven't been there in a very long time so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything went well and we were out of before we were required to.

Beyond unkempt. Dangerously dirty and visibly broken systems, floors, pool lining, etc. Tried to tour for membership and poor attendant just looked embarrassed. Couldn't recommend for absolutely anything except maybe racket ball while the Y isn't accepting new memberships. It needs a complete remodel or to be sold and used for something else.

Joined years ago...couldnt stand the filthy locker rooms broken bathroom. Cheesy moldy carpet in locker rooms, dust encased the pipes for fire suppression equipment. Tried to rejoin few months ago ..same filthy place. Why workout if you breathing in mold. Heard same owner bought in Laconia. The membership and annual fee not worth the mold mildew grimes and dust. The indoor pool is falling apart, cracked tiles, lose handle on stairs, bottom of pool is failing you can feel it with your bare feet. Concord needs a decent clean gym...this is not it. NO pride in ownership.

Wood fencing along front broken.Fencing along driveway broken, parking lot unkept. Grass 12-14" tall unmowed, trash all along the street side fence, branches down. No pride with yard maintenance. Maybe the inside is spectacular.

The Health Club of Concord needs to invest more in that property. It looks dingy with broken down hand railings even when you drive into the parking lot, and continues to look dingy and uncared for as you walk through the lobby and into the locker rooms. The best thing about this place and why I gave it three stars instead of less is for the swimming lessons provided by NH Swim School--5 Stars just for them!

This used to be so respectful manager won't allow service dogs wants personal paperwork not at all handicap accessible card broken into with no security cameras and you get treated dirt if you do not have the rich should house wife look and need to start abiding by the laws about what is required to be an accessible legally functioning gym don't even bother visitingi have not had the privilege of meeting the owners and the staff is really nice to everyone but the manager won't even bother listening to you unfortunately I might be meeting the owners in a courtroom
