Dear Master Hardy, I see that you’re closed now. I want to thank you so very much for your years of working with my children Jason and Sarah. Both became 1st Dan BB’s in TKD under your supervision. They both were able to protect themselves against unprovoked aggression. My daughter twice and my son has 3 times. It ended very quickly all 5 times. Throat punch, broken noses, chest punch, daughter spinning back fist when she was accosted and stomped his groin You made a difference in 100’s of lives and were very thankful for you.

Owner of the business does not care about her students or her art. Her financial practices are unhonorable and greedy. She is also unable to conduct herself in a controlled or professional way. A big disappointment. We have used other martial arts schools and discovered just how lacking New Hampshire Martial Arts Academy is. Master Hardy, you are not a role model. Shame on you.

What a wonderful place for my 5 year old to learn martial arts and so much more. You might not even realize it but martial arts help everyone learn how to follow instructions and be aware of their bodies and how to think differently in our hectic society. The patience the instructors have with him is astounding. Nothing about teaching 5 year olds is easy and they do it with such care and make it fun. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about it.

Taekwondo has helped my teenager in numerous ways. He is more focused, motivated, and driven - both academically and personally - since taking taekwondo. It has helped him become stronger, both physically and in character. He has met wonderful people with whom he shares the common bonds of dedication, respect, and friendship. I truly believe it has helped him through these sometimes difficult years, and has allowed him to develop and continually challenge himself. Grandmaster Hardy is a fabulous role model and teacher, exhibiting an admirable combination of wisdom, discipline, and kindness. I couldn’t be happier with how my child has grown since taking taekwondo at NHMAA, and am looking forward to seeing all the ways he will continue to grow in the future as he works toward his black belt.

My son has only been part of New Hampshire Martial Arts Academy for a short time. In that time, I have witnessed incredible growth in his self control, patience and listening. These were all areas that I had hoped he would develop by being a part of these classes. I am extremely pleased with the positive effect it has instilled within our family- as well the feeling that it will continue. Master Hardy is very patient and knowledgeable, I am hopeful for the continued gains that my son has the potential to accomplish.

As a parent of students: It is wonderful seeing our children do something with their lives other than sit behind a screen of some sort. They learn and practice respect more; focus their mind, body, and brain; and "I can't" is working its way out of their vocabulary. On top of all of that they learn other important skills as well such self defense, how to perform under pressure in front of other people, and leadership skills. It is truly a proud moment when you see your 11 year old take charge of the class and lead them in stretching exercises when they are a lower belt yet the highest belt level in class at the time. Or your 13 year old whom might have ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and social issues be able to start to open up to people. This really is an investment in your child's future.

As a student: Class is always challenging provided do your best every class. It's one of those, "you get out of it what you put into it" sort of things. There's not a class that goes by that I don't sweat or get a good workout. All of this while managing to still have fun doing it.

The instructors: They are the best if I am to be concise about it. Grandmaster Hardy is a role model of the highest regards and a true inspiration. If you have time please read about her life and accomplishments. Sububnym Halladay (I hope I didn't butcher her last name, my apologies if I did) is so nice, bubbly and upbeat and just great with people in general, especially children whom tend to love her. Master Flagg I have gotten the pleasure of working with only once so far but his knowledge and expertise shows in everything he does. All of the instructors mentioned above (not in any particular order) are and have been great to work with as a parent, a student and also as a coach as well.

As a coach I am in training to work my way up as an instructor one day and the the thing I love the most is getting to know the students, seeing where I may be of assistance yet also noticing great potential in students. My goal is to help the students achieve their goals and then I know I will have been successful. Parents can feel free to approach me as well as some already have, it's great seeing parents so involved with their child's training.

Sorry for the long review but like I said earlier, this is an investment into the future be it your child's future, your own, a friend or loved one's. Come in and see what we are all about, you'll be glad you did.
