After years of bouncing between group fitness classes like heated Pilates, HIIT, you name it, I found myself nursing a knee injury and feeling older than my age. Stiff, sore, and frustrated, I knew something had to change. So I took the leap and joined On Target Fitness.
Three months later, I’m genuinely amazed at how different I feel. My body feels stronger, my joints less achy, and I actually look forward to showing up. The consistency has been a game changer. Plus, the optional group finisher at the end is a great cardio boost without being overwhelming.
What sets this gym apart is the coaching. Every session, the coaches are fully engaged, watching your form, offering modifications when needed, and knowing exactly when to push you a little further. They’re warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. You never feel like just another person in the room. They make it clear they’re invested in your progress.

I have been a member of On Target Fitness in Kingston for almost two months now. I cannot say enough good things about the coaches; J, Vinny and Ryan. They are extremely knowledgeable and offer great support during classes. If correction on an exercise is needed, they take their time to explain and show you how to have proper form for optimal results. They have their clients best interest and safety in mind at all times. The personalized plans are great and I’m genuinely excited and look forward to my days in the gym. The other members are just as great and offer ongoing support and encouragement as well. It’s truly a community and I’m so glad I found them!! Keep rocking OTF!

What a supportive and smart crew!! I’m not a “gym person” but very much needed a space to strengthen after an illness last year after “graduating” PT. I was so surprised that a FUN part of the morning is hanging with these people who have quickly become part of my community, my friends, my BBQ buddies and after- hours walking crew in the time I have been there.
Important for any other medically fascinating people: The trainers know their stuff! I often have a hard time trusting a super fit trainer when I’ve got a compromised, plus size “mom-bod” to work on… but they give you very direct, individual attention and teach you safe modifications every second of the small group training session. Worth every penny when you do the math on personal training (not to mention the benefits of having a program I will actually stick with!) All kinds of body types are there and the workouts fly by! See you at Kingston in the mornings?

On Target is a great place for people that need help and guidance to push themselves over the edge and into a better place. After my first month, I just felt better in general and stronger when out hiking. I highly recommend it if you are like me and enjoy being active but are somewhat phobic or skeptical about going to a gym to work out. A+

I had an amazing experience with OTF. I signed up in April to try it out. I was always into sports and activities but felt like I needed more motivation and an encouraging trainer who could help me to achieve my goals. I am so happy I met Jezreel and Vinny. I feel very motivated to come to the gym 3 times a week. I have never done weights before but it feels much more easier to do it when you have a support from your trainers and classes are really fun, positive and friendly. If you want to become stronger, healthier or even lose weight you definitely need to join OTF. They are an amazing team to work with! I am really happy I found this gym in my neighborhood!

It’s good to have a place where everyone works together but you have your own separate routine to do. Only been going for a couple weeks but feel better every time. Even though everyone do there own routines the guys go through and help you not only with the work out but give you guidance on how to do it better. Truly enjoy going. I cannot say enough about OTF in Kingston. You can expect excellent coaching without the pressure of one on one coaching. It is individualized attention in a group setting with a comradery that is inspiring.

I am so happy that I found OnTarget Fitness in Kingston, NH. I made an appointment to meet with Jezreel, the Manager, and talk about my goals and needs, and he spoke to me about what OTF has to offer. I signed up for two training sessions a week during my first month. Before my first month was finished, I said I wanted to do it 3 days a week next month. I have had two coaches, J and Vinny, who are fantastic to work with. They are very encouraging and always ensure that you are doing things correctly so that you see results and don't hurt yourself. You will love it whether there are 10, 5, 2, or just you in a class. Everyone is working out, but you are all doing something different as the workouts are on your phone and directed to you, your goals, and your ability. J and Vinny are always there to assist you and help you perform the workouts correctly, and they will show you a way to modify it if needed. I have almost finished my first two months and feel lighter and stronger.
They deserve 5 stars and more :)

I’ve joined and quit many area gyms and fitness programs, hoping that each one will be what I have been looking for. I have finally found the perfect setting in On Target Fitness in Kingston. Jezreel and Vinny are very knowledgeable fitness trainers and they are enormously patient and helpful. I never feel like I’m trying to learn new exercises alone as they make sure I am doing everything safely and correctly. I’d give On Target Kingston more stars if I could. This place is truly the best! The coaches have created a fun and encouraging community! Not only do you get a personalized strength training program, the coaches are always readily available to support you with nutrition, motivation, etc! This is not just a gym, it is an entire support system. When I started here, I thought I would try it out over the summer. Six months later, I look forward to the days I get to go to the gym and see my workout buddies and coaches. I joined On Target not knowing what to expect. As a recently retired Marine, I was worried I might have lost a step and felt hesitant about leaving the comfort of my home gym equipment.
What I found was an incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable staff who helped me assess my current fitness level and set realistic, motivating goals. Now, just two months in, I’m breaking personal records and in better shape than I ever anticipated. Instead of stalling, I have people who can push me positively, give me direction, and keep me on my goals - this is why I came back to the gym and it’s why I wanted a trainer!

Joining On Target Fitness has been the best decision that I’ve made for my health in a long time. Love On Target Kingston. I turned 65 in February and was concerned about overall loss of muscle tone and balance. Started March 4 and have never looked back. The training is individualized within a small group which is great. The coaching is consistent and constructive. The small group atmosphere is really supportive even with an age mix. I appreciate that all the coaches listen to concerns/fears and offer their thoughts. At my last overall check in my weight was down 20 lbs and muscle strength increased. Never looked forward to exercise until I started at On Target.Kingston. Feeling pumped just writing this review!

On Target in Kingston NH is my happy place. The atmosphere is uplifting and motivating. The coaches are paying very close attention to details and figuring out ways to make exercises work best for you. The facility is absolutely spotless, the groups are small, and the workouts are fun! I’ve been working out at On Target Fitness for a little over a year and it has been a year of change. I’ve lost 20 pounds and have managed to keep it off. I’ve also gained additional strength and some muscle definition. For me this would not have been possible without the great staff at the gym. Alex, Ryan, Katie, and Joe really do know their stuff and are very supportive of me and the other members. Katie’s move to the Kingston facility will be a loss for Portsmouth members but she will definitely bring her energy and spirit to the Kingston members.

I've been a member of On Target Fitness in Portsmouth for almost 2 years, and I can't say enough good things about the team and the programs they offer. Alec and his coaches take you as you are, and design a custom exercise program to get you where you want to be in terms of strength, cardio, nutrition, and overall wellness. The only pressure is to show up and do the best you can.
Like a lot of people, I've signed up for various gym memberships over the years; Planet Fitness, The Zoo, etc. There's nothing wrong with those places if you have the discipline to actually go 3-4 times a week, and the confidence that you are doing an appropriate set of exercises (and doing them properly!). In my case, I would slack off after a while and eventually quit altogether. On Target Fitness has been a very different experience; the coaches work closely with me, providing encouragement and feedback to make sure I get the most out of my workouts without worrying about hurting myself. There's also just a really positive energy among the coaches and clients at On Target that makes me want to keep going.
I'm thrilled with the results I've gotten at On Target in Portsmouth, and I'm very excited to continue my progress at the new Kingston location!

On Target Fitness is truly the best! When I started, I wanted to lose weight, be stronger, and improve my flexibility. I have met my goals and the coaches have exceeded my expectations. I've lost over 60 lbs, gone from a size 20 to a size 10, all while building muscle, working through old injuries and aches and pains of a person over 40, and improving my flexibility and confidence. Every time I have a PR or do something I've been unable to do previously (chin-ups!!!), they are right there cheering me along no matter how small the victory. At OTF, he atmosphere is personal and fun and I've never felt like a number or a face in the crowd. When I started out, I set my expectations kind of on the lower side because of experiences I'd had at other gyms. But OTF has surpassed all my expectations and then some. If you want personalized workouts in a gym that has certified coaches who care about your success and progress, is full of other gym clients who are there to work out and be stronger and feel better and encourage each other, OTF is your place!
