The male locker room smells like someone urinated on the floor; the male locker room needs to be cleaned with Pine-Sol or Fabulosa for a more fresh smell. A thorough scrubbing of the tiles and benches would help eliminate the unpleasant odor. Additionally, ensuring proper ventilation can make a significant difference in the overall atmosphere a fan was under the sink.

Regular cleaning schedules should be established to maintain hygiene and comfort for all users. Finally, placing air fresheners could provide a more inviting environment.

The woman's bathroom always smells HORRIBLE in the mornings on week days. The bathrooms are not clean.
The gym is always terribly busy. There needs to be another location added in Concord. In addition to this, you cannot get a good workout going to this gym in the afternoon since there are many highschoolers taking up multiple machines in large groups.

This is a complete joke, I have a black card and wanted to bring my little brother to the gym as my guest and have done so a handful of times before today, and when I walked in today after driving 45 minutes to this gym I was told I can’t bring him since I am not a parent or guardian when I have permission from both, I haven’t had problems the handful of times before. I will not be back they have lost my business.

How difficult is it to keep track of who enters and exits a gym? I literally did this job years ago, it is not rocket science.

A “male working in the female locker room” as the sign says is one thing… I’m not sure any woman would approve of a vacuum shoved under the door by a male employee when they’re trying to use a changing room. The entire purpose is privacy.

When did common courtesy become such a chore?

UPDATE: Another locker room interaction that I can’t quite wrap my brain around… no, I do not want hazardous chemicals sprayed into the shower stall that I’m standing in. 🧐

I have done this job. And I gave patrons the utmost respect and privacy when appropriate. When I worked at a gym and fitness center, cleaning was done when locker rooms were EMPTY. Both interactions happened when I entered the locker room first. In fact this time, the attendant said “I waited until an hour after you got here.”

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months! Nobody will help me and there's nobody to call. When I made the membership for my wife I selected the wrong club. They called that club and said they canceled it. Obviously they never did. It is impossible to get any help. I've gone in there twice. I've opened a case. And still nothing. It's a great gym overall, as it's clean, has a variety of equipment, and good staff. The only downside is it can be a bit overcrowded at times, and challenging to find a locker, as nobody uses locks, so it's hard to tell what is actually available.

I was a regular at this Planet Fitness for years. This particular PF is usually very uncomfortably busy. They need 2 locations in Concord. Not many of the members follow the wipe down the equipment rules. The cramped parking lot is not big enough to accommodate everyone. Many of the popular machines are broken and they will stay out of service for weeks. It seems as though they are not encouraging stretching or exercising with a mat as the floor space is getting taken up with machines or racks. The ladies restroom gets very unclean with a couple toilets always clogged.
The staff is a hit or miss sometimes they greet you sometimes they blatantly ignore you.

I love how conveniently located they are and that no matter where I travel, I always have a place to work out. I also love how clean it is and how I don't have to wait too long for equipment. Planet fitness is a trash organization. I sign up for a dollar down.. a week goes by and they charge my account for a full month after only being there for a week. The card i used to set up payments i dont use often so i dont deposit much unless i know a bill is due soon... not expecting a months charge after 5 days made it so they froze my account and wont let me in saying im past due even though ive only been there for a week... im not paying a months fees when i was told 1 dollar down for the first 30 days. I dont care if this makes me sound broke. Thats shady business, i dont respect people who operate that way. Im all set with this "health club" pizza, bagels, and tootsie rolls are great rewards for people who actually want to see results.. i bet you guys think fluoride is good for your teeth to lol 🙄🤦🏽‍♂️

My partner and had a bad run in with another “guest “ a month an or so ago. We told staff that the guy had usurped our machine. We were switching back and forth. He was a dick! Tonight a wonderful staff woman recognizes us and him. She warned us of his presence in the gym today. I was truly impressed by her recognition of both parties involved!! I loved that she recognized us as regulars, and wanted us to be comfortable! This truly stands up for what Planet Fitness is trying to promote! I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but it made me feel like Planet Fitness is a good place. My absolute gratitude!!

This is a busy gym. You have to find the right time to go. 4 to 6 pm is busy. If you have a routine you like to follow you should go before that time or after. Clean, but some of the paper towel despenser don't work, frustrating when you want to clean a machine because people are waiting to use it. Locker rooms are clean and everything seems to work. They did get new equipment and they have it labeled so you know it's new.

I do enjoy this one. Management is much nicer than Bedford and they have energy bars if you need a quick boost. This gym does have ropes and kettle bells as well as trx straps. However, note that while the gym is a decent size, if you go in the 5pm hour during the weekend days, it is super crowded. Be prepared to wait to use equipment or change your work plan.

Deceptive sales practices, poorly trained employees, selectively applied rules, gross bathrooms. Refused to acknowledge me as the guardian of a family member in my care and used it as an excuse to deny entry, something neither the State Department nor airlines did. Zero issue letting in white teenagers because I believe the policy is racially applied.

I’ve been a PF member for over a decade, using the Concord gym for the last 8+ years and figured it’s about time I write a review here! Years ago they remodeled and it’s now twice the amount of floor area as before, great open layout, and numerous amenities added in the spa. It’s fantastic and other than some occasional sloppy members leaving their messes behind, the staff stays on top of cleaning, refilling towel dispensers, etc. I switched back to a morning workout a year+ ago and met the current asst manager who got me on board with the PF credit card policy I’d been intentionally evading! The reasons were explained. She was pleasant, firm, and fair - we joke about it now! It’s a ‘me’ issue, not a PF issue. The rules are there for a reason, mostly safety but also to promote a culture that’s enjoyable for the members. I don’t know that there’s anyone at any gym more committed to the PF culture than the weekday morning manager and her staff. Other than that bathrooms are checked, trashes emptied, corporate people make their rounds to fix the broken stuff and I never have to wait to get on a machine. Keep up the great work PF Concord! 💜💛

If you want to go for the gym equipment don't expect any special. Just mediocre and outdated is some areas.

The tanning booths are a waste of time and shut off during the session after a minute or two of running. An employee can't do anything about it, but it's a recurring problem. All I got was an "unfortunately we can't do anything about it.". Staff made no attempted to right the wrong of the facility.

The staff members at the desk are pretty rude which I have noticed a few times.

Been working out here for 4+ years and 2 years in Crocs. Never had an issue and management never cared. Other younger adults have also wore Crocs and were fine. I was kicked out on 8/14/2024 @ 4:50 PM due to this rule being enforced? No prior warning or anything, just kicked me out. Rude to not have prior warning!!! Overall a decent experience. New cardio machines recently installed. Very clean throughout. The downsides? Staff can be a bit moody at times but I think they require them to say “enjoy your workout” to everybody that checks in, which can get redundant I would imagine! The amount of people that go here is getting a bit out of control & I’m finding less & less times to come here & enjoy a workout w/out somebody breathing over your neck. Thank goodness for the Google live popular times. Also this note is for the all guys & the gals, skip the cologne/body spray/perfume etc fragrances actually disrupt your hormones & some people have real allergies to them! Hopefully they’ll put another location in Concord in the near future, but in the meantime you might be better off traveling to a different location if it’s too full.

Planet Fitness on Fort Eddy Rd definitely lacks professional management. Had difficulty getting in contact with the manager on several occasions, and did not receive a call back after leaving a message. After all, if I was the guy getting paid $12 an hour to answer the phone and check people in I wouldn’t bother leaving a sticky note for my manager either. Planet Fitness definitely fits the bill of shady business operations.
Small gym, (the PFs where i’m from are wayyy better) recently moved equipment around and opened the space up a bit better. Staff is decent but they don’t get paid enough to fix jammed paper towel dispensers which is annoying to me personally becos all non-skilled labor positions i’ve worked in my time and I’ve never got away with doing so little. The first view of the outside building reminds me of Plaistow, but, the inside reminds me of Portsmouth, but with space of the Manchester Planet Fitness in the Center View Plaza. This Planet Fitness has more space than Plaistow with less parking 🅿️ available.
The inside has sections for specific activities, such as the 30 Workout or the PF 360 Training. Other sections are for specific areas of the body, such as an Abs room or free weights and cable machines. The legs and upper body exercises machines are grouped in one area but are separated within that area.
The exercise machines run from older models, which I prefer, to the most recent models.
If there ever is a zombie apocalypse in Concord, this Planet Fitness has plenty of treadmills to keep every survivor supplied!
The men's locker room was in good condition. The showers🚿 were in decent shape though the drains needed a little attention. There weren't too many places to sit and place your stuff. There are small lockers outside if you just want to put your wallet and keys away while you workout.
The massage chairs haven't been updated but I like the older ones this Planet Fitness is using. They have more head 🗣️ support.
The staff were helpful. The place was clean. Even the overhead pipes were dusted.
Only issue, a few of the paper towel dispensers were empty. The bottles though were full.
I recommend this Planet Fitness franchise.

It's the only Planet to visit when you want to increase your energy. I enjoy improving myself here, and have felt safe each time I've gone to work-out. There's always something to do. I appreciate the hydro-massage beds and the massage chairs, these are benefits of The Planet Fitness (Black card.) IMPORTANT fyi...PF will be increasing their $10 a month classic membership to $15. The $25 membership will remain the same. It truly is a no judgement zone, far as I've been going. Come on in! I've never been a gym connoisseur, but after gaining some unwanted weight, I knew it was time to find time to work on myself. Planet Fitness in Concord, NH is an excellent place to work out. I like the large amount of trans and elliptical machines, so my friends and I can all get our cardio on together. I also love the Black Card member amenities, especially the hydro chairs! It's easy to sign in, and easy to get going. Everyone here is very conscious about closing the machines and locker room as well. This place makes going to the gym fun, not like a chore. I'm happy to be a member!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have had a membership to this gym for years and never have I felt the disrespect I felt today.
As a new mom, post-partum of 4 weeks I decided to motivate myself today and get to the gym. I couldn’t walk outside because it was pouring out so I figured I would go walk on the treadmill. I had my newborn swaddled onto my chest (really no different than being pregnant), I would also like to add that he was completely quiet and he was not disrupting anyone’s workout.
I walked in, I scanned in at the front desk in front of two employees and walked over to a treadmill.
9 minutes into my walk an employee came over and rudely & loudly told me “you need to go.” (there was more said by her.)
I was not pleasant back to her after she addressed me so rudely and embarrassed me infront of numerous people. I then asked for the manager and she was also incredibly rude, and asked me if I wanted her to cancel my membership. I informed her that this policy was ridiculous and the way I was spoken to was unacceptable and she responded with “get a babysitter”. I also informed her that her employees should’ve been paying attention instead of on their phones when I walked in.
After the amount of years I have been a paying member here I can said I am incredibly disappointed and angry.
If there was an issue due to a policy it should have been addressed from the start in a polite manner.
To the two women (employees), one being the blonde assistant manager (you seem to have not the best customer service after reading some reviews) who felt empowered by trying to make me feel less than today I hope you know you fueled my fire into letting others know how poorly you treat other women, especially new moms trying to make themselves feel good and get healthy.

I own a business, and NEVER would I ever address a customer in that manner.

Club is VERY small and if you go either 7am-9am or 5-8pm. I guarantee u wont be able to do all your sets. Due to not enough equipment (free weights) and to many people. This is the closest one to my home and ive been driving to the Manchester one. i rather drive 10mim extra and be able to use all my sets on the machines I need for my workouts. As a newbie to the gym scene, I've been going to the Concord Planet Fitness for just over 6 months, and I absolutely love it. I'm a weirdo who actually uses the 30-minute circuit as intended and I can't say enough about it. I love how judgement-free this gym is. Everyone has been super supportive and nice. The staff is excellent, though can't really answer questions about the machines (they are not trainers), so I can't comment on personal training. But I've seen huge gains already and can't wait to see how much more I can do! Oh, and the hydromassage is WORTH the cost of the Black Card. I use it EVERY time I work out to help with recovery.

I'd like to suggest having privacy screens or curtains on a few of the treadmills for people with sensory issues. Something unobtrusive that could hang from the ceiling and/or be pulled down and around a couple of the treadmills, perhaps at each end of the row. This was mentioned to me by one of your members, when she was describing how beneficial the workouts are but how she struggles with what is described as people "being "overwhelmingly close" and her sensory overload. Just mentioning it because I'm sure others might benefit and/or prefer that option too.

Every time that I go there, there is always more than enough of everything to use. Equipment, tanning beds/booths, showers and changing stalls. I've never had to wait to use anything.
