The customer service is terrible there. Wanting to cancel my membership before the 17th so I don't get billed. They proceed to take it out anyways. No compassion or empathy saw how frustrated I was, continued to express no interest. To other people standing there looking into space not knowing how to handle this. Thinking this is how you handle a complaint. Never I mean ever, worst company, no knowledge of customer service ever. Telling me I have to contact my bank and to stop payment. When it is clearly planet fitness job. Please don't go there. Don't waste your money. Can't even cancel on the website, biggest scam ever. Now I am overdraft, but that is my problem even though I canceled before the 17th.
FYI also tried calling left a message to have a manager call me back. No one called
I called back after not hearing back for 2 hours. Immediately got a attitude hung up on me. Tried calling back. And kept getting hung up

Planet fitness think they're slick. You got to pay buy a debit card month-to-month right. And also they want your account number and routing number. Why you think that is? They're hoping that you if you forget your monthly subscription. Even if your account is on zero. They take the money out anyway. Have fun playing what you owe and overdraft fees. Either you pay them or you build your own gym. That's not an issue for me because I can build my own gym. Have fun not taking my money. ๐คฃ

Worst managed PF I have ever been to. There is a staff of 4 or 5 last time I was there....they all just stood behind the front desk. Meanwhile, a fight broke out in the 30 minute workout area. Someone was sitting on a machine texting and refused to get off...after politely being asked. It went downhill from there. As I was leaving, I went to the front desk and told a guy at front desk named Dylan about the fight. The entire front desk was oblivious to what happened. Dylan listened to me and said..."yeah man, I feel you"....unbelievable....When it gets to a point where fights are breaking out in the gym...and the staff is oblivious of it.....it's time to go to a different gym.

I have been a big fan of Planet Fitness, have had a black card membership for nearly 11 years, and a positive experience at all locations. Since this is my home gym I called today to cancel my subscription (only because I moved to Florida, there's no PF near me, and I have access to a gym at my new apartment) with every intention of renewing in the future when the need arises again. The desk guy named Christopher told me- in these exact words- "I'm unable to help you with that. You'll need to do a Google search to figure it out yourself" and then disconnected the call. What kind of customer service is this?? It is none! I understand that steps may be required of me to cancel on my end. However the tone in his response and the lack of effort to at least refer me to their Member Services Department was appalling. It left a bad taste in my mouth and has me questioning whether I will return in the future- I expect to be treated like a human. I will now spend more time researching how to cancel my membership through tedious steps to my to-do list. I'm not one to write negative reviews- this is not good enough!

I have been to multiple locations, and so far, it is nice. They try to keep it clean, the equipment is not damaged, and if a machine goes down, they get it fixed quickly. Depending on the location, you have access to great benefits such as massage chairs, beds, heat and cold therapy, thinking pod, battle ropes, TRX, and so much more. Manchester, NH, has 2 locations, one on the West Side that I normally go to. It is a great location due to being open 24/7 and does have some nice equipment. The other one is next to Chunky's Movie Threater, and you get access to all you could need for great workouts, and afterwards, you can go see a movie next door.

This place used to be clean and welcoming but over the past year, it really deteriorated. I cancelled my membership this week. The staff look sad and nobody is friendly. The bathrooms are always lacking toilet paper. Random puddles of water all over the floor. Equipment is dirty and misused or out of service. People donโt clean after themselves and are not courteous, and worst of it all, members are always filming themselves or FaceTiming or on calls. The night I cancelled my membership there were men on each siding of me filming themselves working out I felt so uncomfortable but the gym was so crowded I couldnโt go anywhere else to do my workout. People are always just hanging out on machines on their phone and you have to wait and wait. I feel like it attracts the worst of the worst.

I normally workout at a different planet fitness, but decided this week to switch it up. I was floored at how unfriendly the staff is at this location!! I said 'good morning' as I scanned myself in and the attendant didn't even look up from their phone. This has repeated (aside from one person) each day this week. It is so rude to not greet and say goodbye to your guests!
But that isn't the only issue I have with this location. I actually use the LifeFitness app and this is the only location I've run across where the system doesn't work. I have to log it manually (and it doesn't track my heart rate... which my Dr. wants to see over a period of time, so I have had to log that manually elsewhere).
Needless to say, after this week, I will not be returning to Manchester East location. Do better!

PF 99 Eddy Rd. Has become one of the worst places. Staff letting homeless people in with suitcases and 10 bags in hand. Clearly not going to workout instead they camp at the restrooms stealing stuffs from the lockers as well doing drugs on the changing rooms.
Staff needs to be more present at the floor, they need to supervise whatโs happening around there.
Underage kids that now go for free is just bad. Theyโre goofing around not working out just taking videos and looking at their phones for 2 hours.
This place needs a change.

Losing 24-7 is a real compromise. Losing the decline bench hurts too. It seems they got the staff to arrive on Saturday and Sunday a little more timely finally. Waiting over an hour was painful. I still go but we definitely lost ground on the weekends with the limited hours.

I used to love this gym, been a member since they used to be at Antics location. Unfortunately with the economy they apparently can't be open 24/7 anymore because they can't pay staff enough to be there. What has upset me is knowing the gym closes at 7 on Saturday and Sunday, and when it's 5 minutes till close they shut off half the lights. It's rude and I may soon choose a new gym after all these years.

The fitness center is very clean and has lots of cleaning stations throughout. There is signage everywhere reminding members to practice social fitnessing - keep a treadmill, or two, between you and others. The staff are friendly and have backgrounds in fitness so do not hesitate to ask them how to use the equipment or demonstrate a workout for your particular needs. And the cost is the lowest compared to other gyms in New Hampshire.
