I’ve lived in Durham NH since January and I haven’t been to Merrimack PF (home gym) in awhile. I’m really happy how they rearranged the equipment, removed some treadmills, and added more stair masters. Staff is also wicked kind.

First of all anyone complaining about staff has an issue. I’ve been going to Merrimack planet fitness since it opened. The staff that’s there now are incredible. I’ve never gone in there and not seen a smile. Remember people when you post bad reviews and
It’s not true it’s not fair to the staff. It’s always easier to talk to staff about an issue. I’m sure the issue would get resolved. These people work hard and try to do their best. I’m sure we all have a bad day but I would say 99% of the time I go in there it’s a good vibe. Thanks to Matt and his crew.

I have been a member of PF in Merrimack since it opened. U have all new equipment and NO training was provided to your staff so when I asked for help, the single employee had NO idea how anything worked. And in fact she was on her cell phone and inattentive . Plus the new treadmills have no handles for climbing an incline….just the single bar across the bottom. Ergonomically speaking, this is going to aggravate lower back function on people with lower back issues. I quit my membership today and asked to get contact info for a manager and the single employee had NO idea how to facilitate that. Asked what she would do in the event of an emergency, her response was a shoulder shrug and “I don’t know.” I heard another couple of members saying they didn’t like the new equipment either. It was uncomfortable. I will find a better club to work out at. Too bad managers make themselves so scarce.

It looks like the PF in Derry but has a larger 30 Minute Workout area. The men's locker 🛅 room was in good shape. Friendly staff. I noticed staff members 🫧 cleaning.
They have older massage chairs but they are comfortable. Wi-Fi available. Plenty of parking 🅿️. A few weight slammers.
If I am in the area again, I would visit this PF again.

Planet Fitness Merrimack is a great gym. There are plenty of machines and weights to choose from. They have multiple of the same machines so there is always options. They have a good free weight section also. It is always cleanly and the staff are very friendly. It is a welcoming place and easy to get in! Also great price!

Absolutely pathetic organization, bordering criminal (words used by my bank). It is virtually impossible to cancel your membership. The 2 options are to either write a letter and mail it (and they don't give you the necessary information to do that), or go into the gym in person, and sign a cancelation form, which I did. 4 months later, I'm still being charged, and I was told there's no record of me going in there and canceling (even though I'm on camera going in there, in work clothes... so not working out, signing papers, and then leaving). Upon investigation, my bank found that they set up the payments in the most sneaky way possible, they make individual charges, against a debit account, instead of having it set up as a "recurring" payment. Recurring payments are much easier for banks to block, or "stop payment", but 1-time transactions are harder. After now having multiple conversations with planet fitness, including the manager of this Merrimack location, I'm still not able to get refunded, or have the payments stopped yet.

Planet Fitness of Merrimack is a clean gym and the employees are very friendly! I didn’t give 5 stars because sometimes there is only one worker at the desk and I’ve seen many members standing around waiting to speak with someone and the employee is no where to be found. Today I got to PF at 8:45 (they open at 7) and the doors were locked. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

Staff is great, place is clean. However, trying to cancel is jumping through hoops! Scummy, phone call or email is not enough to cancel. You must show up in person or send through mail.. So it cost money to cancel! I have to spend money on fuel or postage to cancel after I already spoke to them directly and made it very clear I want to cancel. Scum, just like all the other corporations out there. People don't matter, just profit. I was a huge fan of PF until today. Scum!

This was my first time at this particular Planet Fitness. It's by far the best on in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful and the gym patrons are nice and not rude. Everybody was courteous. Takes me 20 minutes to get here compared to the 5 minutes that's closer to me in Nashua and I would gladly take the extra drive to get here.

The best planet fitness ive been to. The two dudes at the front desk are good people and always make sure ur good and dont need anything. I dont remember their names i wish i did so i could include them and hopefully get them the raise they both deserve. But hands down the Merrimack one has the best staff. All the negative reviews are probably about the workers I haven’t met yet. its been the same two people everytime ive been there and anyone that has problems with them would’ve definitely brought it on themselves by being preppy like most Merrimack people. The two employees ive experienced are considerate and thoughtful. They also make sure the place is clean and well maintained and their always at the desk when u need them unlike other planet fitnesses ive been to in the past

This planet fitness in Merrimack,NH is awesome! Very clean and well laid out. The seperated 30 mins workout and ab/stretch areas are great! The additional amenities such as the tanning, massage chairs and even HYDRO massage chairs are in a cool serene area in the gym where you can really relax. The showers and locker rooms are very clean and modern.

After two hours of working out I can honestly say I get lost in time and don't end up wanting to leave !
