101 pounds lost in 7 months
55 POUND weight loss in 12 WEEKS
My Story:
During high school, I participated in sports and lifted weights. I had great instruction from multiple coaches, but I always wanted to be more totally fit, even then. After high school, I lifted a little while and gained some weight. My whole adult life, I've either been on a diet or between diets and looking for the next one.
In the beginning of my adult life, I remember weighing 240 lbs and out of desperation, buying into a diet pill franchise(a big flop). I tried every extreme fad diet that appealed to me. I tried "no meat diets" and "no vegetable diets", and even the ones that required that I buy a bunch of their snacks and eat every two hours.
I searched for advice on the internet for years, finding, trying, and failing to get anywhere near my fitness goals. I lost weight and would gain back even more. Eventually, I weighted 394lbs. I got down to 340 over 7 years. Once in a while, I got down to 308lbs or so, with a Fad diet, and the weight jumped right back on, when I ate normally.
Recently, I started gaining weight again and decided to start lifting weights. I was lifting and feeling good sometimes, but never consistently.
My diet was anything I wanted. I was sleepy unless I was drinking sugar-free energy drinks, and my blood glucose levels were out of control(even on 3 medications to control it).
I went to the internet to find my next diet. Unfortunately, I found many health gurus, and they were all contradicting each other. I'd been here before, but this time, I was completely lost. So, I continued my poor diet, thinking all was finally lost.
While at the gym, I saw Plotkin Trained posters hanging around and decided Im going to go for it(an exercise and diet approach from a certified expert). I got the web information for PLOTKIN TRAINED, off of a poster. I emailed Aaron and joined up, and after a thorough survey, I got my new workout routine and diet. It was a huge change and required a lot of adjustments(like measuring portions and finding time to eat the meals with my schedule). I also never considered working out between my 12 hour night shifts, but that has become routine. It has all been absolutely worth it!
I let Aaron know my weight regularly. If my weight loss slows or stops, he makes precise changes to my diet or exercise to totally kickstart my metabolism back into weight-loss mode.
After 12 weeks, I've had to get used to a lot different things, like feeling my ribs against the back of a chair, and being able to work long hours on my feet without leaving work, aching from head-to-toe. My mindset has changed from anxious and mildly depressed to chill and happy, and sometimes "LET'S FRIGGIN GO!!!"(G- rated version for this review).

Update: I believe in PlotkinTrained so much, that I've got him training my 17 year old daughter(long-distance FLORIDA). She's making strong progress weekly(minus 20+ pounds I'm so proud of her.
My wife is getting fit too(minus 40+ pounds), just from being supportive to my daughter. My mom has also started going to the gym regularly, and states that she feels stronger and has less aches and pains every day.
Plotkin Trained is helping us learn to forge a healthful path, with principles that we can share with our loved ones from now on.

I love Aaron and he is my favorite trainer ever. He is so flexible on how you want to approach fitness (from learning how to work the machines to competition) and he LISTENS (be honest with him and he will work with you, no guilt just results). I was so sick of the commission breath I felt from other gyms but after I was gifted a session with him I couldn’t wait to signup. Aaron is not only super knowledgeable and passionate about health and fitness, but he also truly cares about you and your success. He is super kind and thoughtful, but will also push and motivate you to reach your goals. I have scoliosis and he has taught me tips and tricks and it has not bothered me since I started working with him. I highly recommend him to any and everyone!

I’ve been working with Aaron for about a year now, aside from having to take a break after my motorcycle accident. Aaron has been absolutely amazing. I still struggle with knee pain and when I talk him that my knee is bothering me he helps me work through it. I had been trying for over a year to meet my goal. I tried numerous things but nothing worked. I did an online nutrition and training program with Aaron and was finally able to meet my goal. I’m 67 years old with a rare, hereditary form of late onset muscular dystrophy called OPMD. Western medicine can’t do anything, but regular workouts can (and do) make a big difference if you choose to get through each day with more strength, balance and mobility. Aaron knows what it’s like to train while recovering from injury. If you’re trying to get around an injury or a deficiency and you’re still into working out, he’s been there. He can suggest ways you can modify your workouts if you need to. He’s going to ask you questions, he wants to see how you can move. He wants to see what you can do, but he’s interested in how far you think you can go. It’s going to be one on one, give and take. Your body, your workout.

I always struggled gaining weight until I met aaron. He made it really enjoyable went above and beyond and helped me get results while also teaching me. I didnt think this was even possible I met him weighing around 160 and we finished I was about 215. Hes an awesome guy and amazing trainer. I couldnt recommend anyone better than him
