The Breathwork experience was nothing short of sensational! Having practiced Mindfulness Meditation for over 35 years amplified this workshop to a level I really did not expect. After an hour of breath work the relaxation period was, for me, replete with an overall sensation of floating. I tuned into a problem I was wrestling with and received immediate guidance. I saw my future steps with ease and was even shown symbols for a painting I am working on, which I used the next day. Although I understand everyone's experience will be different, I trust the process now and will begin to integrate this into my meditations.

I started my journey to find myself a long time ago. This past month I have made a lot of progress but last night was my breakthrough. I entered the BreathWork Journey not knowing what to expect. Walking up to the Yoga Center I met Jim. He is so kind and genuine, I felt safe and comfortable immediately and was able to let my walls come down and truly give myself up to the journey. I am so thankful to have met Jim and have him help me accomplish in one night what I have sought for so long...self-worth.

The enhanced Breathwork Workshop this weekend was truly amazing, It lifted my spiritual awareness to a whole new level thanks to the guidance of Jim. I feel so lucky to have been part of this and would recommend this workshop to people looking for that next step in their spiritual awareness path .

After a tough breakup, being single, and living on my own again, I noticed I'd begun to isolate myself. On a whim, I signed up for a class at the Yoga Center. I found the classes warm and friendly and, by week two, I'd already started to sleep better at night. By the 4th class, my breathing was becoming stronger and, for the first time in my life, I felt really comfortable chanting "om" -- something was opening up in me! (I had tried yoga elsewhere, but there was something different about the Yoga Center...Jim Readey creates an environment that feels relaxing, safe, and intimate.) After only a month, now, I've lost 10 pounds. I've also been inspired to practice yoga at home, and have become more mindful of my breathing and eating habits, not to mention of the people in my life. Honestly, I didn't think yoga would work for me. (Because I'm bipolar 2 and suffer from major social anxiety, I figured there was no way yoga would help relieve any of my various symptoms.) How wrong I was...and how extremely thankful I am to have been given this gift! Jim and the Yoga Center are great and I recommend them for first-time or experienced students.

I continue to be impressed with Jim and Tyler's "Mindful Improv" classes -- I've attended 7 sessions so far and plan to continue.
Jim's well established yoga and mindfulness practices and Tyler's years of improv experience are evident in the care they bring to their weekly gatherings. The classes function as a safe and inviting space for students to explore conscious play together.
Though I might have guessed that Improv practice would be challenging and fun, what delighted me was to find that in Jim and Tyler's classes, Improv affords us a potent vehicle for self exploration as well.
And since I don't normally spend any time playing make-believe with others, these sessions add a new and welcome creative dimension to my life.

I’ve participated in a yoga class with Jim and a Mindfulness Improv workshop with Jim and Tyler (as a work retreat). I whole heartedly enjoyed both experiences and share a 5 star review with ease. I look forward to additional experiences at this center and eagerly recommend to others - the experience was beyond my expectations, even though I try not to have them. Metta.

Jim was an awesome yoga instructor! He tailored the class towards the students who were in the class. I personally suffer from grinding my teeth at night which causes a lot of jaw and neck soreness and tightness. After the class all my neck soreness and tightness were gone and Jim taught me how to relax my jaw muscles which has helped immensely!! I would totally recommend him to all my physical therapy patients!!

My partner and I really enjoyed Jim's improv workshop. The first hour contains some get-to-know-you exercises that can be a bit rough if you're not into that kind of thing, but once the improv games begin, it's really fun and it becomes clear why it was important to lay that groundwork. Thank you, Jim, for offering this unique experience in Concord. I definitely recommend!

I've enjoyed going to Jim's yoga and meditation classes at the Yoga Center since this past summer! Jim shares his welcoming yoga practice in a cozy, safe and peaceful environment. This practice offers more than a yoga class at the gym.
Jim uses his wisdom and knowledge of yoga to support his students in our individual needs of our bodies limitations in range of motion and flexibility. There are also a variety of yoga classes to choose from to try for the first time yoga student or if you've been a yoga student for many years. Since I've been a student at the Yoga Center, I've gained flexibility and better range of motion as well as used deep breathing techniques to calm my mind in class and in any daily situation.
Come check out a yoga class and practice with a freindly and fun group of people!

Jim's style of teaching is relatable and inviting. His knowledge of yoga and yogic postures is impressive and obvious from the moment you step into the studio. While he offers classes for all levels, I've only (yet) taken a beginners class, and enjoyed it. He works with each student at whatever level they're at, and encourages them to explore what feels comfortable (as opposed to suggesting a dogmatic series of postures that everyone must follow). He's funny, down-to-earth, and yet there's something wonderfully ethereal about him. I highly recommend him and this studio!

I have taken a variety of Jim's yoga classes and some workshops for 12 years and have never been disappointed. My new favorite class is Thursday nights which involves some traditional poses and some core and strengthening exercises and a great deal of humor. Jim is compassionate, sincere and the real deal.

I have been a regular at Jim Readey's Thursday night yoga class for four years. This class focuses on strength, flexibility, and core work, with liberal doses of humor thrown in at no extra cost! Jim is a sensitive teacher and compassionate guide as he leads us through various positions and movements designed to facilitate health and well being. I highly recommend his yoga classes to persons of all ages and abilities.

Picture yourself being encompassed in a bubble of calm, peaceful energy in which you are permitted to explore your soul in a way that perhaps you thought did not exist. I attended an excellent Creativity and Inner Child workshop with Jim and Gloria. Their partnership workshop made for a relaxing, fun and meaningful experience. Highly recommend. The class is a paradox- challenging & relaxing at the same time. Challenging yoga exercises & poses intermixed with relaxing meditation enhanced by the snores of Jim's dog Dozer. Jim is an adept instructor- helped me re-connect with yoga after being away for years while at the same time introducing yoga to my sister in such a way she agreed to return for another class. Both of us were amazed at how tone yet relaxed we felt after, my sister expressed neck tension relief she hadn't thought possible. We were both a little anxious to go to the class, the group was very inviting & inspiring, providing for a very peaceful wonderful experience. Highly recommend a yoga class with Jim as an individual, girl's night out or even a couple's night out experience- they all surprisingly fit.
