Tough call honestly.. massive demographic shift from portsmouth.. better qualoty of equipment here, the layout actually works and makes sense, cable machines need lube. No weight organization. Less sq footage overall, cant imagine many people come here of they did, it would be over run.. creepily quiet also. Id rather come here than Portsmouth honestly. Both places are equally dirty, neither location has ever been professionally cleaned and its obvious.

24/7 access, a modern building and very reasonable price of membership

Place has been in a steady decline since its inception. You have completely dirty and disgusting bathrooms. One soap dispenser has been empty for months. and over the last few months now you have multiple trainers training multiple clients at the same time taking up multiple machines, equipment and floor space. Thereβs hardly anywhere to workout now without being pushed aside or having your dumbbells taken by the trainers or their clients because they have to super set 5 exercises with 5 different dumbbell sets.

Not bad but not great, average in every possible way. Equipment is there , hours are there . Fair for the price for sure . Things might be dated but works . I like that they have multiple locations .

I have personally used Hampton and Newburyport. They are decent gyms and being 24 hour I can go whenever!

Vanguard has 5 locations if you don't like one location try another.
Can't emphasize this enough if you don't like North Hampton go to Newburyport. If you don't like Portsmouth go to Dover or Kittery.
This is a 24/7 GYM with all the equipment you could ever need not and all inclusive health club and that's reflected in the affordable price.
It's up to you to put things like hand sanitizer in your bag bring wipes to change your game. Bring a towel to place on equipment you use, and wash your hands before and after a workout. Clean up after yourself. Lots of motivational people to talk and workout with.
Thank you Vanguard Key Clubs for many years staying consistent.

As a longtime member who primarily utilizes the Portsmouth and Dover facilities, I appreciate the well-maintained equipment, the ability to get in and get through my work out unencumbered (no wait for equipment), and my dealings with the management have been nothing short of stellar.

There are two of these. The one in Portsmouth is nicer, but they are both good. It's 24 hours and there is no one there to boss you around. That being said, there is no one to help spot or answer questions or help if you're hurt. You can't buy supplements or food either. Also, it's too damn expensive for what it is. Don't workout here if you're poor or inexperienced.
