Looking for a place to workout while you visit Plymouth? Too bad. This place does not want to help you out.
Unless you visit during the extremely limited staffed hours, you will be left to deal with the TERRIBLE website.
I decided to roll the dice and pay for a week pass on their website ($40)… and an additional $5 “test charge”!
After they take your money, they leave you waiting “24-48 hours, depending on the day” for them to “process” your membership.
This makes it impossible to gain entrance same day and effectively makes the day/week passes useless. Once I submit payment, I expect the entrance code to the gym… it’s really simple.
The gym could be great inside, I don’t know… the customer service experience makes it feel like a scam.

I was a member here for more than three years. I only ceased my membership because we moved out of the area. I wish my new area had a gym as good as this!
I used the Campton facility once or twice a week regularly. It had all the free weights and accessory equipment that I needed plus it has boxing gloves and a bag! The gym was always clean and there was never a crowd where I had to wait for equipment.
The owner is friendly, responsive to suggestions and invests in her business to keep the equipment diverse and properly functioning.
And after your vigorous workout at the gym, walk across the street and have a coffee at the Mad River Cafe.
When I’m back in the area and need a workout I expect to take advantage of the day pass.

Cara was really responsive when I tried to get in earlier in the day for a day/week pass.
Gym is clean, open, and has everything I wanted from a functional perspective.
Great convenience close to the mountains.

I'm a trainer at another gym in Southern NH who is traveling. I was looking for a place that I could use for my own use while I was away. This gym is exactly what I was looking for. The space is clean, organized and has everything you could possibly need. Very affordable and easy to get to. I am definitely going to be recommending this place.

To everyone bashing this little gym, this place has been my home for 2 years plus now and I absolutely love it. I think most people reviewing this gym are the ones who sneak people in after being asked not to, when it’s a very boldly stated rule not to… This gym has everything you need for a fully functional little space. I weight train and there are drop mats, squat racks, it’s super clean and TONS of free weights. I went to PSU for the last 4 years and chose this gym over the PSU one without question.
Also, the owner is actually very nice, just follow the rules people, it’s that simple. Also, Tina at the front desk is amazing too.

Absolutely outstanding fitness center. Reasonably priced. Clean, friendly, every piece of equipment once could ask for. Convenient 24/7 key-card access. Super responsive staff and help if you need it. One could not ask for more in a gym. :-) A great addition to the community.

Nice Quiet gym. Could have a few more treadmills, but still a nice place to work out in peace and quiet.

Only gym in Plymouth. Key card access is so annoying and getting into the building should be included with the monthly price at no extra cost to customers. The idea of having to return a key is overkill when you’re already paying $50 every month to go there. and this is the first gym I’ve seen do this (I will definitely not be going to a place like this again) They’re money hungry for sure.

stopped in to get information on costs and if they were able to provide fitness training as I work well with.
staff member explained the membership costs and training fees. was able to arrange the training that works best for me
location is staffed Monday through Thursday in the afternoons; members can access the location during the other hours 24/7 using a key card.
there are monthly and yearly memberships (the difference is less than $20), joining fee, and a nominal cost for the key card.
fairly decent sized; requires a vehicle, and could very well get busy during the day when PSU students return

I've been using the Campton facility for months and loved it. It's fully equipped and very well maintained. The place itself and all equipments are always kept clean. Also love the real 24/7 access. The owner Cara is always promptly responsive, too.

Pain to navigate thru website for a day pass, if they even do day passes. Wanted something on the fly. Disappointed with the systems and procedures of this gym, would not recommend.

I have been a member for over a year. This is the best gym option in the area. It is clean and has sufficient cardio options. Free weights range up to 75lbs, there is a great cable machine system and Olympic plate selection. This gym is a great mix of sufficient lifting equipment and cardio. The workout space is large so you dont feel cramped. The owner and staff are pleasant. The clientel that use the gym are considerate and clean compared to other gyms I have gone to.

Good variety of equipment, spacious, and CLEAN! A great space for those of all fitness levels. Even when it is busier it doesn't feel overcrowded. Improvements and new equipment are added periodically. The other members are friendly too, and generally clean up after themselves. Right now the gym has plenty of free weights and machines, a variety of cardio equipment, and space for bodyweight & stretching exercises. There's changing rooms, bathrooms, and space to store coats and bags temporarily. The only upgrades I would like to see are showers and maybe lockers. For me these are not dealbreakers since I typically work out after work, then shower at home, but it would be nice to have the option for a morning workout or if the power goes out at home. I haven't tried the tanning so I can't comment on that. Overall I think Cara does a great job maintaining the facility and you can tell she takes pride in her gym. I have been a member here for a year and will continue to be for as long as Iive in the area.
