Beware!! This establishment is so rude and unprofessional. If you ever want to cancel your membership it is near impossible. It has taken them over a year and I am still being charged. Katie promised me she was canceling my membership and refunding me $250 and never did. Instead I was charged the whole time Terry at the front desk made excuses for the manager Katie...she said she is so busy and has so many better things to do that are very important. She treated me like garbage on the phone! Thanks alot for terrible customer service.

I drive 15 minutes to get here because I like the Y more than the one closer to me, however it’s not listed anywhere that they’re currently working on the pools this week and the basketball court.. this is my second time in a row making to trip to the gym only to realize the specific facility I want to use are closed. When you’re working on things please post this info on your website, and or around the ymca so that people know what’s going on when they walk in at the least. Only sign I see is “we will be closed Labor Day” but not that the pool and the gym are both closed until the following Tuesday, upset that I drove 30 minutes to use the gym before work today, and for the second time in a row I didn’t get to the routine I was hoping for.

I can only speak for the weight room at this location. It's quite small and cramped with a low ceiling and a basement feeling. But at least unlike the Manchester location there's more parking available that doesn't cost you anything. Much to offer at this Y. The climbing wall is pretty cool too but good luck getting some time in there

I bring my boys once a week for open rock climbing.Each session the gym only opens 1 hour 15 minutes.There are times, we go there earlier, but the gym will fill with 5 plus climbers, the instructor will make sure everyone get one round of climbing first instead let early arrivers finish their 2 rounds first.The result is even you arrive the earliest, you still have no chance get out of there early.To avoid the crowd, we choose to arrive at 20 minutes before the gym closes. However when ee arrive at the gym door, the door is open and the instructor is still next to his desk, he told me the climbing gym is closed even though the door is clearly open and there are still 20 minutes left before gym hours close. This is so satire! I made my effort and drove 20 minutes for rock climbing, but the instructor told me the gym is closed. 1hour 15 minutes! The instructor could not even work for. Why would you even hire such person! As the result I canceled my membership!

Drove 45 mins to use the pool. There was an older hyper woman life guard who was on my 6 yrs old case from the time he walked in. He jumped in the pool to another parent and she came over to say he was struggling to get back to the wall. He CAN Swim and has taken private lessons for years. She scolded him for having his goggles upside down. Who Cares! She gave every child in the pool a ring except mine. A mother and her kids felt bad they gave us one. They said no to blow up floaties (he can swim) she said he was fine in the shallow end but when he was in the shallow end she made him get out of the pool to put his arm in the puddle jumper. He was standing in the pool. It was obnoxious how singled out my was. My son left crying and said he never wanted to go back!

One of the better Y's around, I spend a lot of time here. Its very clean and the staff are the best. The only complains would be parking or summer hours (slightly shorter). Always a great experience!

ive been a member for 6 months and have been very impressed with how nice the people are.
The facities and equipment are excellent.

I'm much less impressed with them closing everything including daycare for two days so a slimy politician could give a private 20min speech.

Great place and overall amazing staff, but please fix up some of the stuff in the basketball court including the main hoop closest to the door being slightly crooket and long wire blocking the other side main hoop in the corner 3!

Sauna was nice but really dry and it really irritated my lungs. Never had an issue in a sauna before, in fact it is usually soothing.

Good facilities. I'll comment on the tennis side since that was my big thing when I was there. Very good for adults and beginner kids. For competitive kids? Mehhhhh. Inconsistent staff with inconsistent methods for training competitive juniors (jr. competitive, sr. competitive, tournament training). I'd rate it lower, but for southern NH it's pretty good. That's probably why Southern NH is not a great location for developing very good junior players. But yeah great for beginners and adults.

As a mom I joined them to be available to do exercise while mi baby is in the kids zone, 1st they made you pay as family then they don't have activities to include your baby more than the kids zone for 1hour per day, then I have to drive 40 mins to get at the place and they said the kids zone is closed because an event was not posted on the web site.. NOT RELIABLE! Already feeling they stole my money

Everyone should have a Y membership, especially when the short and cold days set in. Great place to take the little ones for a swim or to get in your workout. Me and my family look forward to spending our weekend mornings here, best price for a gym anywhere when you consider how much fitness diversity you can get here. It’s more about life long fitness than getting in a quick pump or running a treadmill. Not to mention they do amazing things for YOUR community which is more than I can say for somewhere like planet fitness. Lots of value for your money here.

This mask mandate is absurd. There is no social distancing for these kids in the swim program but the parents are expected to keep their mask over their face the whole practice. It’s 100 degrees in this place. The lifeguards spend more time micro managing parents and their mask wearing than watching the swimmers in the pool. The coaches spend the whole practice talking to the kids without a mask on or in a corner chatting with themselves. Make it make sense.

This facility has awful hours. It's near impossible to get an early or late workout unless you don't have a job. Forget about it if you think weekend are your thing. The men's locker room has been closed for 2 months and expected to remain "under construction" throughout February. It better have gold floors after a 4 month renovation. Scheduling programs is next to impossible as the limited slots miraculously fill up well before the website allows sign ups. If you're looking to join a gym that you can't use, this is your place. If you want to start your day with a run at 5am, or end it with an extensive workout; find another YMCA

Been taking tennis lessons and going to summer camps for so many years now. Once you get to know people, it’s a very welcoming community even though it might not seem like it at first. Tennis is wonderful, highly skilled instructors as you get better and progress to the higher levels.

This is great for families and they have an awesome lap pool and a really nice climbing gym. If you like tennis they've got about eight courts, a dance studio, and a full gymnastics studio as well as your standard running machines and weightlifting gym.

I've been coming here for 6 months I got the membership for the weight room which is tiny and way outdated. There is no ventilation in there and always stinks. Now that it's the first of the year and they are giving everyone discounts to join the gym is always crammed is way over crowded I'm a paying customer and now I cant even get in there to work out because the resolutioners. It's not cool they should stop selling gym memberships needless to say I'i quit this gym I would not sign up for this place is your looking to work out it's way over priced the parking is a nightmare

Great variety of sports and interests for all age groups. The childcare, kindergarten team up with local schools for transportation to and from is excellent, best in the state. All team works at the Y are professional, kind and courteous and ate very attentive and good with the little ones!!! Thank you for all you do!!!!!!! Worst experience ever! To start, we took my daughter swimming last night and about 10 minutes into it the pool closed because a kid actually pooped in the pool. Gross but not their fault. The night got worse!

When preparing to leave my daughter noticed her boots were missing! We looked in all the lost and found areas, nowhere to be found. Some horrible human being stole my 8 yr olds boots in the middle of winter! Unbelievable!

Now to the issue I have with the ymca itself, how they handled it. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, all the lady said was “they’re not up here” and I said well I have to walk out of here with only socks so my kid can have boots in the middle of winter, so what are you going to do about this? All she said was that she would email a couple of managers to let them know to keep an eye out for them. She never even took my contact info to get ahold of me in case they found them. I want more than anything to cancel our membership unfortunately my kids do a lot of activities there so I’m kind of forced to continue. So beyond underwhelmed and just incrediblely sad to live in a world where someone can be okay with taking shoes from a child in the middle of winter!

Expansive indoor tennis facility here. Large indoor lap pool and also a smaller training pool. Excellent facilities & class offerings. One of the nicest “Y”’s I’ve seen. They also have a kid’s camp. It’s a beautiful location at the edge of the woods and they do a kid’s camp here as well.

Although the Goffstown location has many more amenities than Manchester, that's about all they offer. No one ever greets us as we enter or even looks up as we leave. It's a very cold-feeling environment. The tennis courts are extra each time you use them and they don't even provide towel service like the Manchester location. On the upside the people who work the climbing wall are great.

Goffstown Y is a great place to work out and spend family time. They have a great tennis program, levels up in course work and drill work nicely and has active league teams.
