As someone who grew up dancing all my life, I know how important it is to find a studio that not only teaches proper technique, but also inspires a true love for dance. Watching my granddaughter dance at across the floor has been such a gift. The teachers here are warm, caring, and nurturing, and they have a wonderful way of encouraging each child’s individuality while helping them grow as dancers.

My daughter has been dancing at Across the Floor for five years now, and it has truly become like a second home to us. She currently takes tap and hip-hop and has also tried ballet and gymnastics over the years. Every teacher she has had has been kind, nurturing, and patient while continuing to foster her love of dance and performing.

I also take the adult tap class taught by Miss Sara, the co-owner, and it has been such a fun and rewarding experience. Miss Sara and her staff create a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where students of all ages feel supported and inspired. I would highly recommend Across the Floor to anyone looking for a dance studio that offers not just excellent instruction, but also a place where kids (and adults!) can learn, feel supported, and truly enjoy the art of dance.

This place is completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and lack comprehension. My niece is on the spectrum and before signing up, my sister called and made them aware of my niece being on the spectrum, they assured her they were equipped to deal with my niece’s needs. However, on the very first day of her classes, it was evident that was far from the truth. My sister made sure to remind the instructor that my niece was nonverbal and on the spectrum and she said it wasn’t a problem. But then she got extremely annoyed with my niece when she didn’t listen the first time to sit down, my sister went to sit with her and do the exercises but the frustration from the instructor were unbearable that my sister had no choice but to go speak with the owner. The owner, Sara, was just as apathetic as the instructor, stating they had no experience with kids on the spectrum and it must have been the “new girl” who gave her the false information when she had called. She refused to acknowledge the level of un-professionalism from the instructor, placing the blame solely on my niece for not listening. And when my sister asked for a refund, Sara’s “solution” to the situation was for my sister to find “another little friend on the spectrum and we’ll provide a private lesson.” One thing is not having the experience to deal with children on the spectrum, another is to lie and place blame on the child when you as an adult don’t even try to understand the situation or make it better for the client. Horrible experience with an ignorant owner and workers. 0/10 recommend.

Absolutely terrible. Owner is extremely disrespectful to children and totally overcharges. I would not recommend ever seeking this studio for your child due to the hateful, childish, and unprofessional behavior of this business.

Terrible customer service from the owner. They force me to pay for a video and photos, which I never received. I took the photos with the people they recommended. A year later, I haven't received the photos or the video. And this year, if I didn't pay for the photos again, my daughter wouldn't be able to participate. Instead of helping find a solution, the only thing the designer cares about is getting paid for the new video, and the high, unrealistic costs of the things they charge.

My daughter is three and a half and loves her ballet class! Ms. Joanna is a great teacher and is very patient, even when my daughter and her classmates sometimes get distracted as toddlers often do. I can't recommend ATF highly enough!

They have different courses like hip hop, ballet , tap, lyrical , break dancing, jazz etc. And if you are interested they provide private classes also. They are currently renovating the old karate studio into a new Playa Bowls an Acai store next to ATF!!

My daughter is enrolled to Beginner Ballet and she loves it! Staff is helpful professional and a pleasant family environment. Clean studios and love that I have a parent portal!! Hands down best dance school around!
