I have been working with Coach Max for the past few months and my life has totally changed. I have an injured back and when I started I was weak and couldn’t even think of going to the gym. I recently signed up and come from 2-4am daily. The gym is great, all equipment is solid. However, there are people ‘living’ out of this gym and stay in the shower 2+ hours without using it as well as not working out the entire time that they’re here. To only have one restroom available for the time that I'm here is a bit inconvenient. Not only for me, but for other members actually working out and needing to shower afterward. Would be great if staff can check cameras to actually see as it appears to have been going on for quite some time. In addition, during weekends, the vending machine is disabled.

Love the gym, I usually go between 11pm-1am - but theres always a guy sleeping and snoring so loud - this is preventing me from going. Its sad bc I love the staff - they are so kind and friendly to me . I have complained but it has made no difference

My P/T don't listen to me. Your supposed to tell them all your problems you have had. I feel he shouldn't be constantly looking at his watch it makes me feel he just waiting for are session to be over. Plus he feels that my Drs don't know what there talking about. I like him as a person but if you listen to what happened to me and I'm trying to get healthy. I just wanted somebody to help me set up the machine I'll be working out on , and show me what machine s would be best for me. I had a free membership with my Snickers Insurance. Now I'm stuck with a bill $160.00 a month for a 2 hour visit.

I just joined this gym and had my first workout--very impressed! I've been a member of big-box gyms for many years, but finally had enough of the overflowing trash cans, busted lockers, unracked weights, non-working machines, litter, and difficulty getting access to equipment. This gym is super-clean, everything seems to always be in its place, the equipment is all in pristine condition, and it certainly wasn't crowded when I was there. Eric, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. The hours couldn't be better--because it's open round the clock. Of course, if you're into basketball, swimming, studio classes, saunas, or other standard big-box gym features, Anytime Fitness isn't for you. But for strength training, functional workouts, and cardio equipment, Anytime Fitness offers all you need.

I really liked the gym but I was no longer able to use my gym membership. When it was coming up towards the end I called to ask it not to renew over. I was told because of the type of membership was only for a year I would not need to do anything. Now I see charges on my card and when I call the person I spoke to a month ago misinformed me. Website is very annoying and persistent.. whatever you try to do, it leads you to book an appointment and makes it seem like you can see membership plans if you book a tour. I spent 15mins on the site to realize that they hide their prices and force you to come in for an appointment (that of course you cant cancel without hassle and contacting them), just to find out what the membership prices might be. Very ridiculous and scammy.. Other 1 star reviews have mentioned this gym continuing to charge customers even after they’ve cancelled their membership and horrible customer service. I’m not surprised by this. Save yourself the trouble and don’t let this greedy businesses take your money.

We chose anytime for the convenience of having gym access 24/7. A/F Colonia may be a smaller gym but they manage to pack in all of the equipment you need for an effective workout. If you stay consistent, you will run into the same people all the time. Everyone is very friendly and if you need help all you have to do is ask. Overall I couldn't be happier being a member here

This gym is very well kept and there are plenty of new machines. My favorite feature is the digital counter for your reps! It was renovated less than a year ago, so it has grown quite popular recently, but I have not had trouble completing my workout no matter how busy it gets. It is also very safe - no one will touch your stuff and everyone is very courteous.

They have hired some great personal trainers and I highly recommend communicating openly with the team. Shout out to Jack, who works tirelessly hard - what a G. The consistency and the dedicated attention has been critical for managing my health.

I personally rely on Anytime to make sure I can stay on schedule even when I travel. The 24/7 global gym chain means I was able to get a workout while vacationing abroad or while staying at my parents house. I was provided workouts by my trainer and I just followed them, no stress or thinking required! Great experience with their PT program.

Very clean and well maintained. Gym-goers here are decent (not rude) and friendly. I once accidentally left my headphones on the bench and when I came back to look for it 15 hours later in the middle of the night, it was still there. I’ve lived in a lot of different places and that says a lot about this neighborhood, the management, and the people that go to this gym.

The treadmills have some wear and tear just because they’re used a lot, and the bathrooms are always occupied for some reason. However, I think their equipment availability is pretty solid and their facilities are great considering it’s not a huge gym.

Great gym, all brand new equipment, can do any exercise and hit any muscle you need to hit, various machines and free weights that will allow you to do so, has a great area for doing barbell bench press, squats, and deadlifts, a quality smith machine, as someone who lifts for not only body building but for strength as well this place is great, excellent community and staff, also there’s a good amount of cardio machines for people that love doing cardio, overall a high quality gym, I highly recommend signing up.

I’ve been coming to this gym around 3 years. The location is so convenient so that I can come here 3-4 times a week, which is best for me. Comparing to fancy gyms, I think convenience is more important. Additionally, I’ve been working out with personal trainers here all time. It worths well. An update …..I recently lost my father and these last few months have been pretty hectic and I haven’t been in the gym … long story short .. most gyms would just keep hitting your card because to them your a monthly payment not a member…. Not these guys … and maybe I shouldn’t say this because some companies are strict bottom line .. again not these guys they held off on my card and and called me to make sure I was ok and now that I’m ready they just simply reinstated my membership without any questions or issues …… if that’s not a reason to become a lifetime member I don’t know what is …..l thank you Mike and anytime

What a great gym! Having been to several AF locations, this is definitely one of the better ones. The head trainer JT welcomed me as I walked in and was very helpful. He really knows his stuff - I'd never used a swiss bar before, but thanks to his impromptu coaching, now I do! I don't typically seek out personal trainers because I like to workout on my own...but he's really knowledgeable. It's very atypical to be greeted like that and, moreover actually helped in a useful way. They also have one of the more modern and clean layouts I've seen at an Anytime, and it was not crowded even though it was around 5pm on a weekday. Very solid gym, with solid and knowledgeable trainers. If you're looking for a new place to workout...this is a good option.

Really liked this spot and it had some great equipment that you don’t often find at other AFs (heavy dumbbells, e.g.). Great layout, not too busy when I went, definitely worth a stop. This gym is genuinely like no other. Mike has been one of the greatest people i’ve ever met and would highly recommend for anyone looking to focus on their fitness! They work very personally with you and always have an open door! 100/10 place!

The personal trainer (James or "JT") is truly excellent. He's soft-spoken and extremely knowledgable. James communicates really well, especially with beginners. I started training with James last year when my primary goal was fat loss, and now I've continued training to build muscle and maintain my figure.

Nice selection of machines and mat area for workouts. Updated smart machines that connect to your phone/app to track everything. Staff is always friendly and the gym is always super clean. The other gym goers are respectful and ive never felt unsafe even at last hours.

I have been a member with AF for years. I lost my original key fob after many years of use and needed a new one. The manager quickly provided me a new one free of charge. Thanks Mike!

It's small. It smells like sweat, and the rack is a little lackluster. Think of this location as a Tuesday night Tinder date: nothing to boast about or anything memorable, but it'll get the job done.

Mike, (the Manager) was so helpful, friendly and professional. He really cares about the members. He is very knowledgeable about fitness and is always there to help! Have been using this gym for many years now. Great place for working out. Tidy and well-managed. Has all the equipment you need. Enrolled another family member recently. Mike was very helpful in enrolling quickly without much hassle and is very knowledgeable. In comparison to other gyms, 24 hour availability is unbeatable. They recently upgraded to the newest treadmills and ellipticals for cardio! Very safe with full monitoring. Reasonable price. Highly recommend it.

Anytime is a great place if you're looking to join up! Management is super kind and friendly throughout the signup process, and are always engaging with gym members. The 24 hour access is also very convenient for those in the Colonia/Edison/Clark area. I also loved the fact that the gym was always clean, and that there were never too many people in at once. Overall, Anytime Fitness made me feel comfortable, and welcomed throughout my entire time with them.

So typically, I’m very picky at what gyms I tend to go to & I’ve been sticking with anytime fitness for quite awhile now. I love the flexibility & freedom to choose that it gives me with its multiple locations but also I’ve come to love this specific location because it’s one of the only ones I’ve found to not ever be as busy as many other gyms no matter the time, the staff is super friendly & helpful - Especially Mike who has gone above and beyond for me when I have ran into some issues, thank you Mike. And overall, it’s just a quiet & super efficient gym. It also has a variety of machines in which can service any type of workout you are doing. I have and will continue to stick to this location and hope that my review can help others come and see what I mean by how great it is!

Very clean and intimate setting. Having 24 hour access is very convenient, and the location is great. This gym makes me feel like it is very exclusive, and therefore it is very rarely packed. Even when it is the case, there are enough machines for all. I also like the availability of kettle weights, mats, all types of accessories, even a roller. There are also two PRIVATE bathrooms!! Mike worked with my husband and Myself to be able to obtain a membership. Never seen customer service like, it was above and beyond!! Love this gym and we’re here to stay!
