The attention and care given to the Somerset Anytime Fitness (on Hamilton Street), has dropped to an all time low. My mother and I have been members since the gym opened; and have, recently, decided to end our membership (FYI You need 30 days notice to avoid being charge an extra month).

The staff between locations don't seem to talk to each other or receive the same training. Or maybe they just don't listen.

We joined the gym (when it first opened) because we liked the security and the cleanliness. But after a few years:
>many of the machines don't work optimally (many don't have sound)
>the yoga mats need replacing
>the heavy bag is broken beyond repair (literally bent over).

Feedback seems to go nowhere.

HORRIBLE!!!!!! I singed up for a year contract after the year was over, they continued to take my money out my account for 2 extra months and after I put a hold on my debit card to the company.. they called a credit union... also waaaaaaay over priced you can go to anytime fitness for $10 a month witch is 5 minutes away

As a member of a different location I was disappointed that they did not call or reply to my email that I had sent them in regards to using this location while on a work trip. Ironically I reached out again and used a different email address asking them to get in touch as I wanted to join their location and they called me within 2 hours. Very evident they only want your money and do not care about the member.

Awesome clean gym. One of the best Anytime Fitness in the state. Friendly staff. Gym equipment is well kept and modern. I highly recommend this gym!

I never write reviews but I would like to save other people from the nightmare I had to go through. Horrible club. Unfriendly staff, the gym is never clean and all they care is your $41.95. The manager is never available and the staff do not have all the access to help you. So the staff will tell you the manager would call you in the morning tomorrow which never happens. I have been to other Anytime Fitness clubs which were great and treat customers with respect. Beware of the cancellation process as it is impossible to cancel your membership without going crazy especially this location. I tried to cancel my membership for months and all I could hear was we do not have access to cancel and my manager will call you tomorrow. It took me 3 months and 3 credit card disputes to get the attention of the manager and eventually the owner to cancel my membership.

Change your hours to the hours that you have staff present. People using this review are not members, and they cannot come 24/7 to become a member...as I learned today. All of your members should already know the member hours.

This Anytime Fitness is clean and has every machine one would need. Nice size and thank you for having all the conveniences of a bench, hanging space for jackets, and lots of cubbies for ones belongings. Plus, shelves, a hook, and stand to put down stuff while in the bathroom. No complaints :)

Pretty expensive for the 24 access, unless you really need the convenient location you may want to look at a different gym. They do offer various training and videos for use to all members, but do not have a "bring a friend" option. Great staff but they do give too many unsolicited calls for training services.

Good gym so far. The kindest people by far, little inflow usually (I usually come at 5pm). Weights are good and the rack is usually free. I tried retro and crunch gym first and this one is worth the membership fee.
