I (60F) have worked out with Rolland for six years, and after working with other trainers over the past couple of decades, he is without question the best. He is highly knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition, anatomy, and overall well-being, and he has helped me stay strong and fit as I age.

Rolland is incredibly supportive and encouraging, and he knows exactly how to help me stay consistent with my workouts in a way that feels positive and motivating.

He consistently shares excellent fitness and nutrition recommendations, including books and podcasts that he knows will interest me, and his suggestions have helped me learn on a much deeper level.

Rolland is positive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in his clients. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is an outstanding trainer and a truly lovely human being.

Working out as an adult with a full time job, family and kids is definitely more challenging. I can’t spend 2hrs in the gym 4 days a week anymore. Artemis has been the perfect solution. Get in before or after work (even at 5am). I don’t wait, I don’t even have to think, they built a workout program around my goals and know exactly what I need to do to stay in shape and take my injuries into account. If you’re looking for personal training or a new spot to work out, definitely check Artemis out.

I made the switch from Retro Fitness to Artemis, and it’s the best decision I’ve made! Since joining, I’ve gotten stronger and more confident. The trainers at Artemis are amazing - they truly care about your progress. They make sure your form is right, create personalized programs to fit your goals and they push you past what you think you’re capable of. I train mostly with Shawnee, and she makes working out after a long day something I look forward to (her dog helps too). She’s always so happy and loves to joke around.

The atmosphere is judgement free and everyone is supportive of each other. I also like how the trainers understand how a woman’s cycle affects performance and adjust workouts accordingly.

And ladies, a little secret - Thursday nights is ladies night with disco music!! If you’re thinking about joining, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it! Artemis has made fitness enjoyable.

I have been training with Rolland for 8 years and he is awesome! I had never lifted before starting with him in my 50s and now have the best all around strength and balance I have had for decades. Rolland is amazing! He helped me trained for my Sydney marathon and I ran my personal best at under 4 hours. Incredible training techniques that emphasize strengths, flexibility and endurance. He is also very thorough in advising nutrition and sleep that go hand in hand with the rigorous training schedule. In addition, for the past 3 years I have trained with him, I have gained incredible upper and lower body strength! I can now do more pull-ups and chin-ups than I have ever done in my life!!!

The semi private training classes here are great! The workouts are tailored to my needs and progressed so that I keep building muscle. Hayden keeps an eye on my form and makes sure I’m doing the exercises correctly. I’m a member of the military, training for Ranger school. I had plateaued on my compound lifts and found that I wasn't getting any faster on my own. Within 10 weeks of working with Rolland, I was able to increase my compound lifts by about 20% and bring my 5 mile time down below 40 minutes. Have been a member for about a year and a half, and I love it, Jon (the owner), and every trainer I've worked with. I've done multiple crossfits and all kinds of workout classes and programs for over 20 years, and (but for a few extra pounds bc I eat with reckless abandon) this is probably the healthiest and best shape I've ever been in. The workout programs hit your muscles from every appropriate angle, so muscles feel healthy strong, not just acutely sore. Fantastic and dynamic strength training sessions and circuits get you best of both worlds. Trainers all know their stuff and always provide helpful tweaks and tips, not just motivation and basic instruction. Highly recommend to all people of all shapes, ages, and experience levels.

I started here on Halloween of last year. I didn’t make it through the first workout. However I kept going through the support and motivation of my wife who has been going to OTF for two years and the trainers. Now 5 months later I’m consistently attending 3 semi private sessions a week and have made noticeable gains in strength, while losing weight and body fat; my knees and joints feel considerably better than before I started. The classes fit for my schedule, starting as early as 5am and as late as 6pm so I’m able to make it to a session before or after work without issue. Over time I found myself really looking forward to each session, and have now been in the longest stretch of a consistent workout routine for the first time in a long time.

I started about a year ago to supplement my Brazilian jiu jitsu training. I’ve had one on one personal training (loved it but too expensive) and group classes (slow down people!). The absolute best gym/personal training facility I have ever experienced. Our Team Fitness is a family that cheers you on during your highs, and supports you during your lows. It is a no-judgment environment that provides you with a personalized fitness plan depending on your level, overall health, injuries, etc. One of my best memories is when I increased my deadlift, moving from the kettlebells to the bar and Coach Jon and Coach Bri were both there to celebrate my achievement. Jon Wells and his team have built a place for you, at any age, to receive daily exercise to achieve your personal goals. With this semi-private training model allows for customized work outs under supervision in a safe and comfortable environment. I wanted to lose weight, put on muscle and get strong at 50 years old. In 6 months I lost 40 lbs and enjoy working out 4-5 days a week. I now can deadlift over 300 lbs with easy and can do 10-15 regular push ups, Amongst a host of other super human traits I can barley believe I can now do. If you are looking for a unique place to get in shape with semi-personal training… look no further. I would love to say this is the best place to get fit in Monmouth Co. I cannot say enough great things about this “gym.” I place “gym” in quotations, because I think of this place more as a fitness family.

I never was a gym rat. I maintained my healthy physique by playing sports or swimming. As I got older I realized the importance of strength training and eating better. Especially now that my previous enjoyment of playing multiple sports has been substituted with work and family. I tried going to a contemporary gym for a while, but I wasn’t seeing any good results. It started feeling like I was going, just to go.

That all changed after I tried OurTeam. Coach Jon (and many other coaches) truly care about my success. The semi-private trainings are great and your workout is individually designed to meet your personal fitness goals. The circuit classes are a great way to get in a fast sweaty workout and can range in intensity, but are always fun to do. In all cases you walk in to a group of friendly faces of all ages, supporting each other through to the end, and walk out feeling like you accomplished something (and you will feel it).

That is what makes this place special and that is why I keep going back and why I’m writing this review. I encourage you to give it a try, I promise, it’ll be worth your time.

I have been a member of Our Team Fitness about 9 months ago but it truly has felt much longer. This is the best gym because the coaches really care about You, and meet you where you are on your journey. They customize the workout and provide modifications where needed to ensure you are pushing yourself, but not pushing too far. All the exercises are fun and different each time you come to the gym. This time last year I would say to my wife (also a member) no way I’m getting up and going to a 5:30 AM training session or group class and now I am going about 4/5 times a week! I really love Our Team Fitness for the community as well. Everyone really looks out after each other, and gets to know them on a personal level. I am so happy I decided to change from the traditional franchise gym, to the smaller, more personalized approach of Our Team Fitness!

I am updating my original post I to add to my original review of Our Team Fitness, from 2019 when I was 59. I just turned 62 and feel 20 years younger. It's 3 years this month that I have been going to this gym and I just can't say enough about how life changing this has been for me! It's literally become the way I start my day up to 6X a week. My progress is best described by some stats I can share from body scans the gym provides from December 2019 to November of 2022. Original Scanned Weight: 209Ibs. Current Weight: 183 lbs. Original Body Fat% 22 - Current% 9.1. 32 pounds of body fat lost while adding 5% more muscle. The trainers at Our Team Fitness continue to create excellent workouts, that gets your entire body engaged and makes it fun and challenging. They invest in new equipment and continue to innovate the classes and options. It continues to be the best investment in myself I make. I highly recommend trying this gym because what they do delivers results if you make the commitment and trust it! (Original Review: I started training at Our Team, in December of 2019 and I still say its the best investment on myself I make. Every workout is challenging, diverse and fun. Variety is key with the workouts as you get complete full body work across a week and excellent cardio as well. Gym is impeccably clean, staff is awesome and just really good people. They really lookout for their members and are always coaching and teaching. Jon Wells, the founder, is community minded and professional and loves what he does! So many gyms proclaim themselves to be all about community, but few really understand what that means for the “new girl”. As someone who is completely intimidated by walking into the gym and new groups, I joined OTF ready to push myself but also feeling insecure. I’ve been so blown away by how welcoming and friendly everyone is. So many times the “community” is really a group of people who have been working out there forever and have formed friendships, but they often forget that means it’s even more intimidating for the new member.

From the first intro session, the owner Jon takes a 1:1 approach, showing you around the gym, walking you through exercises and talking about the program. He’s so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about helping you set and achieve your goals, that you can’t help but feel optimistic and committed. Each trainer knew my name with my first class with them, welcoming me to the class and making me feel comfortable with every exercise. THAT is the “community” that really sets this gym apart from others.

I started with Our Team Fitness the end of December 2021 in order to strengthen muscles and to be able to hold my grandson who was born in March 2022. Most recently my husband, our youngest son and I went on a trip to Italy. Thanks to Our Team Fitness, I was able to walk and climb steep hills while we did touring. We tracked steps each day and the least amount of steps was about 8,000 and the most was about 14,000. I would never have been able to do this before doing workouts at Our Team Fitness. I enjoy doing my workouts.

When I came to OTF almost 7 months ago now I was hoping to find a gym with a positive, non-intimidating atmosphere and great coaches. This gym has exceeded all expectations and wishes! I can honestly say I’ve achieved my health goals & feel transformed and I believe it’s all due to my time at OTF. The other members there are just as kind and motivating as the coaches and Jon has truly cultivated an amazing gym atmosphere. I recently joined Our Team and have definitely found my new gym "home". Jon and his instructors (RIckie Lee, Lauren and Bri) definitely give you that push to motivate you through your workout. They stress the importance of proper form to keep everyone safe and injury free. You never know what today's workout will be but you always know it will be a great one and you will feel very accomplished after it. If you are looking for a new gym, I highly recommend Our Team!

I joined Our Team Fitness in March of 2019. It's the best gym I've ever belonged to - and I have belonged to more gyms and fitness studios than I can count on both hands. The level of dedication that the trainers have surpass any other kind of fitness experience that I have participated in. They are all of our personal cheerleaders, and they make sure that we show up, mentally and physically, at each of our workouts. Jon and Rickie Lee have really helped me take my goals and break them down into measurable, doable achievements. They both really listen to what I want to get out of my workout experience and they never pushed me to make drastic changes or extreme commitments (like other places have). The support that I have of the coaches and the variety of workouts that we do make it easy for me to want to keep coming in time and time again. I love Our Team Fitness.
