Me and my new wife had a very positive experience here at the studio. George help us both choreographed and practice our first dance for our wedding. He was helpful and patient and listened to then implemented our wants and needs of our dance. Ultimately you have to go home and practice! But they are great here at the studio and were both happy to have met and worked with them

Kelsey was so fantastic in getting us prepared for our big night. Kelsey is an incredible dance instructor. My husband and I went to Arthur Murray to get help with our first dance for our wedding. She helped us create a choreographed dance that started as a slow song and transitioned into salsa! She was patient and extremely helpful. She gave us tips we could use to practice at home. Wonderful! My wife and I decided to do something fun and signed up for dance lessens at Arthur Murray. From the time we took our first step on the dance floor, Kelly — our instructor — made dancing fun. Our intimidation and uncertainty dissolved with Kelly‘s patient, clear, intuitive guidance. Talking turns being the “boy” or the “girl” Kelly worked with my wife and myself, gently guiding us through the steps, sounds and twirls. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Shortly after our last class we went to a wedding, where for the first time we felt truly comfortable dancing, and had the most fun ever. Overall, enrolling for dance lessons at Arthur Murray was a fruitful and well deserved investment in ourselves. Kelly made every single lesson incredibly enjoyable, easy to follow, and truly memorable. She ensured that when we stepped onto the dance floor we were more than ready to perform. My (now) wife and I signed up for dance lessons about 9 months before our wedding to learn some steps so our first dance wouldn’t consist of us swaying together like we were at a middle school dance.
Our instructor, Kelly, was amazing. She was patient and provided clear guidance which allowed us not only to learn some actual moves but, more importantly, feel comfortable and confident on our wedding day.

Dance lessons were our favorite part of wedding planning by far. Vlad was incredible, and my fiance and I are incredibly grateful to have been paired with him. We went to Arthur Murray not knowing how to dance at all and needing to learn how to do a great 1st dance at our wedding. We had a great time at our lessons with our main instructor Kelly and Vlad our back up instructor. We had such a great experience creating our first dance with arthur murray! From the very first lesson Vanda made us feel comfortable and confident. The studio is well run by an energetic manager, Cloe. The instructors are top notch!
They are wonderful dancers and great teachers! There’s also a sense of community here. Fellow students support each other at showcases and competitions. Each week there also 3 practice parties with plenty of opportunities to mingle, practice your steps and enjoy good music and company.

My mom and I were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Vlad as we practiced for our upcoming mother-son dance at my wedding. I truly cannot have imagined a better teacher to help us prepare for this exciting moment. We are both about as "beginner" as "beginner" gets and Vlad took the time to help us learn and understand not just how to dance, but how to piece it all together. He pushed us out of our comfort zone when we needed to be pushed and we were both truly sad when our last lesson came to a close. Had an absolutely fantastic experience here. Vlad was a wonderful, enthusiastic teacher whose energy made us feel comfortable and excited to dance even after having a daunting day at work. I started coming to Arthur Murray two years ago not only because I love to dance, but I was looking to do something different and meet new people, especially after being so isolated during Covid. What a wonderful experience this has been! Our talented instructors gave us confidence and dance moves we can use virtually anytime and anywhere. We’ve danced at parties, backyard barbecues, holidays, weddings and piazzas. My husband and I literally started from scratch with a box step and gained experience in a number of dances. We’re not perfect but we love to dance and this has made it so much more fun!! The practice parties and group lessons are a great way to get tips and keep tuned up. My husband and I have been at Arthur Murray Studio in Chatham NJ since June 2014, it's now Sept. We went initially because my daughter was getting married and we wanted to look ok dancing on that day. My daughter also took lessons with Arthur Murray, but in Maryland-So much more to the story, but
I will say, emphatically, that the Chatham Arthur Murray Studio is outstanding, it's welcoming and fun and like a family. We've met new people, learned much more, joined for further lessons even after the wedding, and I even did a ShowCase in
August.
