I can't say enough good things about Avalon Fitness. The positive culture they've built here is amazing, which starts right with the supportive owners. The facility is impeccably clean, and I appreciate that they focus on having the right, high-quality equipment for serious training. The 24/7 access is essential, and the outdoor weight training area is a great feature.

I spent a week in Avalon and was very impressed with the facility and operation. All of the equipment was either brand new or had recently been renovated, and the outdoor space was awesome! I will be coming here every time I’m in Avalon in the future. Kenny was very welcoming and took care of the 3 referrals I sent!

Go there daily. Open everyday year round. Good selection of machines, free weights, and dumbbells. Multiple types of cardiovascular equipment. In the summer outside area is open with additional equipment. Doubles the workout space. Classes held upstairs. This place is my go-to place every morning. Convenient access with your phone.

Had a free class on Sunday 9/17/23. I would like to say I enjoyed it, but I didn't. I was actually across intersection at Uncle Bill's having breakfast outside and the trainer's 'Madonna mic' was turned up so loud, we could have all followed along. Maybe the windows were open - apart from the noise of trainer's instructions, it was a beautiful morning.

This was a fantastic gym with all the things one needs for either an abbreviated workout on vacation or for your full routine. The outdoor area is great on beautiful days when you feel too guilty to workout indoors. It was clean and Mike and staff were really helpful and nice.

Wonderful updated gym. The guy working (his name started with a K) made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to answer all my questions. Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells galore. Not to mention new hammer strength equipment and racks with chains!! Full setup outside as well so you can get sun while you exercise. Great atmosphere. Great people. Had a great workout here. Perfect to go to If your looking for a fully equipped gym while on vacation. If your a serious lifter this gym fits the bill for sure. Also week pass is $20 cheaper than the closest competition surfside (which is also a real nice gym). All things considered, I would choose this gym over surfside based on price alone. It’s slightly smaller but it’s got everything you need and more.
