Welcome home!!! BPY is truly such a sacred and special place. Jenna + Cheryl put their heart and soul into building the perfect yoga studio and home for ANY yogi.
They offer an amazing variety of classes that makes it accessible for anyone and everyone. They carefully curate a schedule that offers all levels, styles, and spirituality practices so that everyone can feel welcome and find their flow.
When you walk in the door, you can immediately feel the love and energy that went into building this space. In addition to the incredible teaching staff and amazing classes, they also have the cutest merch selection! Tons of crystals, candles, books, shirts— it’s adorable.
If you’re looking for a new yoga studio to call home… look no further. You’re in the right place.

I appreciate how all the teachers incorporate dharma talks into the classes at BPY. It is also lovely when they share they're gifts of music with instruments and their voices. The practice is accessible and accommodating for all. The space is warm and welcoming. Namaste. 🙏

I’ve popped into a few yoga studios over the years, always with the intention to stick with it—but nothing ever really kept me coming back. That changed when I found Balanced Planet Yoga. There’s something really special about this place. The instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate. The variety of classes offered makes it easy to find something that fits my mood and level, whether I’m looking for a challenging flow or a more restorative practice. But what truly sets BPY apart is the sense of community—it’s warm, supportive, and incredibly grounding. I’m so grateful to have found my yoga home here.

This small studio is anything but small minded! Owners Cheryl, and her daughter, Jenna, offer such a variety of classes that fulfill a great physical practice and still meet spiritual needs! I love coming to classes, especially Vinyasa Flow with Jen on Monday evenings and BPY Red (Heated) Flow with Cheryl on Wednesday evenings. But I have also taken classes like Sun and Moon Flow, and winter practice. Instructors are top-notch with impeccable, queuing and classes that work the entire body. Drop-in classes are only $18 and packages are also very reasonable. Highly recommend this studio!

Balanced Planet has it all. I've been to numerous studios in the area and BPY is the most consistently aligned with both my physical and spiritual needs. You will move and flow here, but the physical practice is intentionally a vehicle for thoughtful mental and spiritual care. The instructors are top notch and the owners are kind and invested in the well-being of our community. If you are looking for a place to get stronger in all the ways, and feel loved and nurtured while you do it, check out BPY! ❤️

Balanced Planet Yoga is my first yoga studio experience, and practicing with them taught me a lot about mindfulness. I frequented the studio last spring, and is now returning to practice yoga with my mother this year.
Jannine, Jenna, Cheryl, and Scott are such wonderful yoga instructors. I mostly took beginner yoga classes, but taking Vinyasa with Scott challenged me immensely. The community is vibrant and supportive, and you can feel amazing energy in each class. I highly recommend practicing at BPY, as they all care about their clients immensely.

Awesome! I always love Cheryl’s class. I really enjoyed learning a different way to come to seated from lying down. I liked the leg exercises with the straps. My legs feel stretched. The end is always a favorite too.. savasana. Thank you!

As someone who started as a complete beginner, I’ve found it welcoming and accessible for all levels. The hot yoga, YIIT, and Vinyasa classes are my favorites, offering a perfect mix of challenge and mindfulness. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, creating an environment where you can grow at your own pace. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, I couldn’t recommend this studio enough!

A Zen studio with diverse offerings and a joyful community. A special shout out to Jannine, who is welcoming, friendly, and develops a close connection with her students, from beginner yoga to yin yoga, and her sound bath classes, too. I felt so welcomed from my very first class and have enjoyed practicing a variety of the different classes offered with different teachers. The teachers take time to get to know what brings you in, your needs, and make it feel like a community at BPY. I really enjoy Jenna’s vinyasa red class for the perfect mix of variety, intensity, and the instruction throughout.
It had been quite a few years since practicing yoga, and this studio made it such an easy transition for me to get back into it again.

Everyone has been so welcoming, from the other class members to the instructors. My friend invited me last fall on a cold winter night and the warmth, relaxation and overall welcoming energy in those cold dreary months is SO BENEFICIAL. If you're new to yoga like me, needing a place to unwind and spend some time on yourself while also taking care of your body, this is the place! They're fantastic, you feel comfortable asking for help. Cheryl has been more than accomodating when I missed a class due to work or illness that I'd paid for with using it for another class so that I was still able to enjoy my time and benefits. That's what I call amazing service! They really put their members first and make them feel welcome. I'm so happy my friend dragged me there last fall, I get nervous trying new things and I've never felt more welcome!

BPY has been my yoga home for many years now. This is a true community where students get to know each other, support each other, and grow together on and off the mat. There are many different styles of classes to choose from ame something for anll levels of practitioners They host interesting workshops and events on the calendar every month. I always joke that I wish I could quit my job just so I could attend everything I want to! The owners are loving and compassionate people who have created a safe haven from life’s stressors. When you walk in the door you just feel like you can put all you are carrying on your heart and shoulder's down for a while. It’s a beautiful and much needed refuge from the challenges of life.

Without a doubt the best yoga studio there is. I feel like I am with family when I’m there. Jenna’s classes are intuitive and calming and Heather's classes are really well thought out and very effective. I love Scott’s vibe and how much I feel I have accomplished after his class. Jordan’s classes are well done and she always makes sure to push us a little harder. Love everyone and everything about Balanced planet yoga!

BPY is hands down the best yoga studio I’ve ever been a part of. The community is truly that, and strives for inclusivity, respect and teaching yoga to all levels. Whether you’re a novice or expert; anyone can gain something by taking a class here. The owners truly go out of there way to make sure you feel welcomed in their hOMe and the whole community is there to help you along the way. Best yoga experience I’ve had! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Two years ago when the yoga studio I had been attending was closing it's doors I needed to find a new place to call home. I struggled to find a place that felt the same. After months of searching someone recommended Balanced Planet Yoga to me. I hesitated and didn't go. Then again I heard the name Balanced Planet Yoga (BPY) from someone and finally took the chance and attended my first class. Kate was the instructor that morning, I had no idea she was also one of the owners. She encouraged me to take advantage of the new student 2 week pass, which I did. I attended as many classes I could that week. During one of the classes someone mentioned Jenna's Barre class to me, so I tried it and was hooked! BPY has become that home I was looking for in a yoga community and studio. The teachers are all amazing human beings. I felt so at home that I finally took the leap and attended Yoga Teacher Training with BPY. I have never regretted a moment of joining their tribe and am grateful they have welcomed me.

Small and quaint with GREAT energy as soon as you walk in. Very clean. A great boutique yoga studio that can deff compete with the 'big boys' except BPY is much more intimate.
.
Took a yoga class with a group of friends today. Wendy was our instructor and she wa awesome. She will work you, push you, stretch you to the core (pun intended). Some of us were 1st timers and no one felt pressured or embarrassed and we ALL did things we didnt know our bodies could do.
.
I had a great experience and will be returning.

Cheryl and Kate provided me with great (and fast) customer service when I had questions regarding class packages. While I have not had the pleasure of attending Cheryl’s class (yet), Kate delivers with great energy...AND I recently discovered Jenna’s YBarre class and I am totally hooked. Jenna is motivating and encouraging. I would recommend BPY to anyone looking for a clean, high vibe, welcoming studio space to practice. Thanks for a great experience!

I absolutely LOVED Balanced Planet Yoga studio! The decor was very hip and refreshing and the energy in the studio was amazing. They have beautiful floors that are heated! The people who worked there were were warm, friendly and very engaging. The teacher was very welcoming and had everyone in the class introduce themselves. During the class the teacher actually helped students individually with postures while maintaining class momentum. I also love that there are several classes a day (not just in the morning) and several styles of yoga. I'm a beginner and not as advanced as some of the others and still felt very comfortable in class. They also had some cool merchandise before you enter the studio...I couldn't help treating myself to a new mat and towel:)
Wherever you are in your practice, I would highly recommend you checking this new place out!

Amazing studio! I loved it. I've been to many yoga studios in the area and this one had a cool vibe. It was beautiful, very clean and well taken care of. The classes were on time and the people were very welcoming. As soon as I walked into the front door I was greeted. That doesn't always happen at other studios. The teacher made it a point to introduce herself and ask about my experience with yoga, she was attentive to me during class, helping me with my postures and then followed through with me after class to see how I felt. You don't always find that. I wasn't as advanced as everyone else, but didn't feel intimidated. I would highly recommend this studio.
