July 31, 2025-It's once again time to add an updated review. Dr. Marisa Sweeney, the owner of Be Well, my nutritionist and good friend, continues to improve my overall health and well-being. I've become an avid hiker, and without Marisa's nutritional guidance, there's no way I would have been able to take nearly 1.2 million steps in July and burn more than 65,000 calories. Marisa has taught me how best to fuel my body in order to achieve something of which I'm extremely proud. Other than a few blisters, I've never felt better. One more thing that is important to mention...I will be 58 in September. Thank you, Marisa!
I'm just going to keep adding to this 5-star review. I took my first ever yoga class today. I had a private session with Tisha, and it was phenomenal. I was an avid weight lifter for over 30 years, but I had to recently retire from it because of all the damage done from it to my body. I have very limited joint mobility and I live with chronic pain. Not only was it time to retrain by body, but it was also time to retrain my way of thinking. Tisha is incredibly knowledgeable about human anatomy, and understood my orthopedic limitations. I am also on the high functioning end of the autistic spectrum. This means it takes a lot for me to try new things and to allow new people into my bubble. Well, my bubble now includes one additional person. Thank you, Tisha, for your patience, knowledge, and most importantly, your kindness.
This is a follow-up to my initial review. I was dismayed by someone's recent review of Marisa. For anyone to say that Marisa pushes veganism onto everyone is about as off the mark as you can get. Marisa is incredible at what she does. One of her many amazing qualities is that she listens. She doesn't tell anyone what to eat; she lets people know, based on evidence based research, the healthiest alternatives based on each person's specific dietary preferences. Whether you're vegan, or a hard-core carnivore, she is willing to work with you. As i stated in my initial review, Marisa literally saved my kidneys, and put me on a path for a much healthier lifestyle. Marisa is passionate about what she does, and has dedicated her life to helping people on an individual basis. Five stars isn't nearly enough to express how truly amazing she is as a dietitian and, more importantly, a human being.
I reached out to Marisa back in May of 2020. I have been battling issues with food for over 30 years, and what I thought was a healthy lifestyle turned out to be detrimental to my overall health and well-being. Marisa's expertise, guidance, caring personality, and beautiful heart made me feel instantly at ease. She has been the only person to get me on the right track, and she quite possibly saved my life. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone more highly than Marisa; I am truly indebted to her.

Marissa is an amazing dietitian, and a great business owner. She is truly passionate about teaching others how to eat, and believes in helping others live healthy, happy lives. She taught me the basics of how to maintain a vegan diet, which I have maintained for several years now. She does a lot, and gives back a lot, to the community. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a dietitian.

I have been attending prenatal yoga classes and I have nothing but positive things to say. The studio is clean, cute and welcoming. The teachers are incredible and so hands on. Highly recommend for anyone expecting to take a classβ¦ maybe Iβll see you there !!

Working with Marisa as my registered dietitian has been life-changing for me! In addition to educating me on the foods, additives and sugars that I was eating, she helps be realistic about my day-to-day living/eating rather than trying every fad thatβs out there to lose weight quickly.

Love all the classes I have taken here & the variety is better than any other studio I have visited. They offer modifications for every level & offer adjustments to get your body in the proper alignment. The wall yoga is wonderful & relaxing, the vinyasa classes are challenging & refreshing, the NIA is fun & yet I feel my body in places I donβt normally & the partner classes & workshops I have attended are always new & exciting. Iβm the person who always tries to predict the next pose and I am always pleasantly surprised. Now I donβt expect whatβs coming next and just be in the moment.

While Marisa has a lot of connections to people in high places and seems to be an experienced and reliable dietician, do not be fooled. She is dangerous. She promotes a vegan diet and has multiple vegan businesses. I unfortunately had fallen prey to the vegan agenda years ago and a couple years in i started experiencing symptoms from nutrient deficiencies due to the lack of animal protein in my diet. I thought i was supplementing properly and getting enough variety from whole plant foods to meet my needs (hah!). Instead of being an ethical dietician and helping me resolve my issues, she pushed me toward more supplements. My trust in her caused me to ignore warning signs because if she said it's healthy, how could it be wrong? Shes so respected! I spent years after that suffering and trying bandaid after bandaid trying to fix it, getting worse and worse as time went on. Now i have a multitude of symptoms from various deficiencies that i am fighting to resolve. Had she followed what she knows to be true and what she was taught as a dietician, and informed me of the dangers of the vegan diet, i might not be in this position. Im grateful to be eating a proper diet now even though ive still got aways to go with healing. Run, dont walk, far far away from this woman.

I've been attending prenatal classes at Be Well for the past few months. It took me a few trials and errors to find a place where I found the right mix of exercise, introspection, and sharing and I have been so happy to spend time with this class each and every week. So thrilled they are adding a second prenatal class, it will be very welcome for my third trimester!
Update: I've been taking the weekday classes with Chana for the past several weeks and it's been incredible and a great fit for me when I want to spend time with my family on the weekend. She's a wonderful teacher who is really in tune to each person's needs and keeps the class fresh and juicy in all the right ways.

My entire family has worked with Marisa, I was the last one (being male and a PA, I am the worst patient there is). As I entered my 50s, I was in desperate need of a change. I was not morbidly obese but let's just say I was carrying around a little too much unhealthy, extra weight. Marisa helped me think about food and the various micro and macronutrients I need in a different way. Of course having a clinical background I knew what needed to be done, I just needed to hear it from a professional. What a huge help. Marisa and I had a couple of live calls after our initial virtual consultation, but she was always available by text if needed. What has resulted is a 25-30 lbs weight loss with just some changes in diet. Marisa's professionalism and expertise are second to none, but what is more important is that she is a great coach. She will be your biggest cheerleader and advocate through the process! I can't thank Marisa enough. She has given me a new outlook and got me back to fighting weight!!

You can tell she loves helping people and does so from the goodness of her heart. She offers insightful feedback, great advice, and valuable time and effort. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done to get my nutrition on track!
Right when you enter BeWell, you are greeted with a big smile! This studio is extremely clean, and the staff is well-informed. The instructors are fantastic and are truly good at teaching. They have a variety of yoga classes of varying skill levels so everyone can feel welcome. I highly recommend giving this studio a shot!

Clean and ideally-located studio. Parking is sometimes a headache but if you're familiar with Morristown you'll know parking isn't always a treat anyway. Experienced issues with their online payment system, my account was breached and my password was sent to a third-party website; I recommend paying directly at the studio instead. I wanted to come here to take the Holy Yoga classes and at first I could apply my Groupon towards it because they considered it a "class", so I used 3/5 of my Groupon passes. Then they decided to start calling them "workshops" and so I could no longer apply my remaining Groupon passes to it. I really adore the instructor and so I just paid for the workshops. No idea what else to do with these passes since I only wanted to go for Holy Yoga. Also, when they first canceled one of the classes they refunded us. Now they only give you a credit, which you can only use on that certain kind of class or workshop. They said this is because it's a workshop not a class, but there's nothing on the website that explains what that is or that the refund policies are different. The owner is very difficult to reach. I hope the studio improves improve their payment and scheduling systems and adds some policies about what types of classes there are, what the Groupon can be used on, etc.

I have taken several of Cindyβs Yoga classes because she is wonderful. She is knowledgable and focused. She makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Her classes are refreshing and renewing to the mind and body. She takes the time to ensure the class is doing the moves correctly. I look forward to my yoga classes every week!

After meeting with Marisa, she claimed to be very accessible and gave me her cell phone number. While she eventually answered the questions I sent her, there was zero follow-through from her after my initial appointment. Nothing--never saw her or heard from her again and she didn't check in to see how I was doing on the diet she recommended. Very disappointed.

Their choice in a psychologist is scarey. Adinah Liss Bialik fabricated a court ordered evaluation for my 14 year old and because if this he did not get the proper treatment needed and he is dropping out of school, started fires in the school etc... Adinah Bialik put a bunch of lies in her report and should not be allowed a license! She got a violation with the attorney general's office look it You. She's a fraud!

Amazing staff, instructors and a great place for your practice, no matter what skill level. What separates Be Well. from every other studio in Morristown is the vibe; the community; the inclusion factor. Each practioner, staff member and instructor treat you as family. It's a great space, props and mats are complimentary- all amenities are offered to further and satisfy your meditation, however, the meditation is that much more intense when you are a part of something bigger- your family- your community. Facilities are clean, great vibe, chill environment. The owner is a nutritionist, a yogi and an all around supreme being- just a great person, and that translates into her practice- as well as your own. A facility of enlightenment that unites peace, love, knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

I have been going to the studio on and off for years and was there when the studio moved. I say on and off because I have a crazy work schedule. When I can go, I love the classes that are offered. I can start-up with a more laid back beginners class and then work my way to a more vigorous class. I like that the instructors go around the room and correct posture so you know how the pose is supposed to feel as well as keeping in mind personal limitations so you don't strain or hurt yourself. I like that the class package expiration date is extended to a full year versus 3 months in the past. I don't feel rushed to squeeze in the sessions in my schedule. Parking can be tough at times though.
